I wish I had listened to my smart friends before I injured myself the way I did, but lesson learned.   • For those who are asking how many times they should do in a week i would recommend to do it 2-3 times in a week not more or less than that. other days u can target specific muscles or do basic cardio for 30 mins.   • you can´t use a chaturanga and an upward facing dog as warm up! I mean, you really need to warm up to practice those yoga poses! chaturanga and upward facing dog are some of the yoga poses causing the most injuries among yoga beginners and especially without warm up (and without any explanation) they can really mess up your shoulders and your low back. this is so not good guys. so not good.

  • So true about going 5 + times per week. I challenged myself over the summer to go to Orangetheory 5 days in a row and I could tell by the third day but I was not able to perform the exercises at 100%. I definitely had to back off on some of those days. Great video, thanks for sharing!

  • Question, important to know; is the intensivity per minute the same for you short and long Hiit videos? or are the shorter videos much more intensive to achieve the same burning calories than a longer Hiit video?

  • I used to run ������, I don’t understand why we run, especially as we get older, the impact and jarring running movements only serve to wear your hinges down. X trainers are swimming work out the whole body and zero impact! Dr Kev, I do this session back to back every morning and when I get off, I’m literally pouring with sweat, exactly what I need to start my day.   • I said it out loud as soon as you introduced the scenario: THAT’S TOO DAMN MUCH! Steady state may not be cool, but it burns a lot of energy and it’s very therapeutic on the rower. Also, long walks are good.

  • Did this as Day 9 of the 8 week work out plan round 3.   Problem I felt was Day 6 was the lower body Tabata and I was still quite sore from that, going into these squat jacks, thigh slap jumps, jumping lunges, etc.  Is it okay to do these after only two days of rest from the butt and thigh tabata?  I am limping around now!  But good workout!

  • I am switching between HIIT, which I love, P90X Plyometrics, and a 25 min. Tony Horton video on youtube.  I then do sprints at my detention ponds in neighborhood.  Losing fat like crazy and getting lean.  I’m also not losing weight, which I didn’t want to do anyway.  Keep it up.

  • I was definitely pushing myself more than ever on this one. I’ve had a lot of stressful things going on and I put all my frustrations into this workout.     Is this enough workout if i’ll do it every day? Or should i boost it with jogging?
    Right now, i’m doing this workout 3 times a week, and i’ll jogg about 22 minutes, the rest of the week (4km)

  • Holy cow was this brutal. Good, but brutal. This is the first Fitnessblender workout of the ca. 50 I’ve done that has had me praying for death halfway through. Which is a recommendation.

  • Whooo! This one was brutal indeed! The kickthroughs and lizard hops were the hardest. I’ve never done kickthroughs before so it took me several tries to get them right and properly!! And the lizard hops are always pretty difficult! Thank you for the session, though!! #homeworkout #COVID19gymclass

  • I like this a lot but I would really like the HIIT to be 45 seconds. Thank you for making this video. I have used it 3 times now. I Had to give myself that extra 15 seconds to get my heart Tate up to a HIIT level. Yes, I had the leave at a 14 out of 20. And when I mean I paused, I mean pausing your video to get myself of to a HIIT heart rate by adding that 15 extra seconds.

  • This was a very boring workout. The moves are good but I was so bored I couldn’t finish it and switched to another video. It was like watching a workout for dead people at a funeral home. A little faded background music or an excited bunch would have made this much better. They all look like they were forced to be there and no enthusiasm at all.

  • Regarding workout schedule something that has been working great for me( 39 year old male) is 2 workouts on the same day followed by a rest day. Ends up being 6 or 8 workouts per week.
    How I usually end up doing it is a 90 min strength training/calisthenics workout very early in the morning( I awake 2 hours early to have time). Then in the evening the same day I do a rowing session.

    Never going to become some pro rower or whatever. I just row and workout because I enjoy challenging myself. It’s the best thing with training I feel. Regularly experience pain and struggle and managing to get through it. Makes you grow as a person. The physical benefits is of course great as well but that is a given.

  • Very friendly for beginners, I like that. After first training I barely could walk, I do this second week, feel really comfortable already. Trying to do this every day, cause training really not that hard to increase body strength, thank you!

  • been with you two since jan 2016, beginning of this year decided to do every single one of your workouts (having done 12 of 1000 cals work outs already ) since you began 5 days a week, so Im up to this one now.I know which ones i have done since jan 2016.

  • Funny thing is that you dont even have to do a single bit of cardio to lose fat. But its better that people do cardio for heart health. As they say “It’s easier to look fit than to be fit.” Just because somebody is ripped with six pack abs and everything definitely does not mean that they are strong with endurance. I myself am one of them lol. I do cardio but rarely ever is it that I do HIIT.

  • What if it is daily HIIT for only 20mins, and uses completely different muscle groups each day: eg: Monday legs, Tuesday triceps and biceps, Wednesday chest, etc, then each muscle group is getting a rest day while another muscle group is getting HIIT? (And only 20mins means the body is not over tasking itself), and the rest of the workout can be calisthenics and cardio ☺️?

  • Not a rant but great, sound advice. Two evenings of HIT on the ergo during the week with a long ride on the mountain bike (yoga instead of the bike in winter), Saturday and Sunday rowing on the river all year isn’t shedding the pounds but is a good mix for me let’s face it, you will become a workout robot otherwise (not my idea of fun). ��
