  • Lou makes sounds while working out**
Arnold: what did you say Lou? what did you say?
Lou: I’m training Arnold, I gotta get a pump!
Arnold: you’re making too much noise.. when you work out you gotta be quiet like in a church.

Arnold was a pro at fucking with people!

  • This is NOT pumping iron. This is some watered down bullshit version for american audiences. Does anyone have the full, ORIGINAL pumping iron?

  • Con el dinero que tienes que tener y en el arnold clasic le pides a la gente 450 euros por hacerse una foto contigo, vergüenza te tenía que dar

  • Haven’t seen much of you lately, honestly completely forgot you existed! But man please keep making these videos, you pretty much got me through my whole senior year of high school 2 years ago, made me a better person.. your talks gives me a lot to think about and reflect upon myself and help small town people like me who don’t really know better and have a surrounding of small minded perspectives around them. Thanks for everything and all your honesty and for making the world a better place

  • Invites himself over for dinner, “I’m gonna come over to you house for a meal” arnold is a legend. I’ve watched this video a 1000 times

  • I copied his exercise but more basic I do… it  works,, cant believe   he gave his secrets away,,,danke shune I think lol 2 lazy 2 spell check

  • The legend Arnold; He was about the only one who got just about as perfect as humanly possible, not way too big but big, but the symmetry, and proportion were perfect in every way. Unbeatable.

  • Guys. lost lots of fat does not need to be hard (I used to feel it did). I’ll give you some tips right now. Look for a popular weight loss secrets called Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google). Thanks to it I’ve lost crazy amounts of weight. I shouldn’t even be speaking about it cause I do not want a bunch of other guys out there running exactly the same game but whatever. I’m just simply in a excellent mood right now so I will share the wealth lol.

  • That psyche-out tactic may seem harsh from Arnold but thats the world he entered when he got into body building and instead of being crushed by it or afraid of it he embraced it. Never allowed his confidence to be questioned for even a second to the point it was extreme

  • 26:31
Well…. that sure has changed, hahah.
It’s so weird to see a good joke, 45 years ago on a nice sunny day on top of a mountain. Just so weird to think how the world moves on and we never know the really good times until they’re long gone.

  • Friend: Listen Arnie, I just lost my job, divorced, my pet dog got hit by a car, my house is getting foreclosed and on top of all that, I have Covid19. Arnie, what should I do???

Arnold: Get yourself a training partner

  • Remember when thing when you pose, a lot of little guys they hide away like this, like right now you went like this. And a big guy will come up right next to him, so never do that. You know show them, show them the whole body open up. Good.

  • I feel if you could really fuck with Arnold or get his goat you would earn his respect. Like if someone said Hey Arnold some movie guy is in your dressing room and of course there would be nobody there.

  • What about calisthenics? Can you make a comparison video between weights and calisthenics.. I heard calisthenics is much healthier and better

  • For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer.
    – Arnold Schwarzenegger

  • I love to cum. I want to cum all over the stage. I want to cum all over my trophies. I want to cum all over world. Most of all I just want to keep saying cumming. Cumming cumming cumming

  • Its so funny.. even though this movie is like.. so amazing in so many ways.. AHnold wasn’t even at his best physical shape in this.. He was under pressure to gain like 30 pounds of muscle back in a year or whatever… Ive seen pics of him 10-14 pounds heavier with even bigger lets and a bigger back… if they had made this film like 3 years prior.. you would have REALLY seen the austian oak.. he was like 252.. not 240… even look up that “Ilove lucy” episode with Arnold.. check out high huge legs! He is MASSIVE in that episode!

  • Just been watching the video and reading some of the comments. Someone mentions Plato and his Dialogues. It reminded me of a story I read about Milo of Croton. Look him up, true historical character. He’s considered to be the first strongman.
Very interesting story. I read about him in a training magazine from Men’s Fitness. Basically the story goes that his father would get him to lift a baby Ox onto his shoulders every day. As he grew up, so did the Ox. And therefore his strength level increased over time until he was built up like a brick shit house!

  • I’m that guy who Arnold made scream at the amateur contest. Ruined my dreams. I now run a post office in Vienna. I’ve never watched a movie by this guy.

  • Whats amazing is that Arnold had only learned to speak and mastered English about seven. years before, He speaks with no hesitation. He is able to even joke.

  • Lou was too young. He didn’t have the muscle maturity to be able to compete against Arnold. Arnold being older had the vascular maturity and the mindset needed to freak his competitors out. There was NO WAY Arnold could lose. His mindset would not let that happen. Still an absolutely fantastic piece on all accounts. Louie’s father didn’t help in the way he meant to.

  • i love how Lou’s dad gave him bodybuilding advice like he’s been doing it for 40 years when he never did it at all. That always irritated me a bit lol

  • In the original script, the roles were supposed to be switched. Lou was supposed to be this antagonist and arnold the protagonist.

  • One thing I always found was that Pumping Iron is made to look like Arnold is the hero and Lou is the rival..villain. However in the documentary when you see their personalities. Lou is more of the Rocky type character and Arnold is more Apollo.

  • Bodybuilding will never be the same after Arnold they have not been able to find the next one hope mr Olympia happens this year in December

  • Great to see Bill Philips involved here. Bill and his brother Sean are both a very important part of the 90s bodybuilding/strength industry. #mm2k

  • Holy fuck Arnold is old now and wont necessary live long anymore my biggest idol ever is going to die someday and then im going to cry dont @ me

  • If anyone is interested in the actual documentary, you can watch it on free streaming sites. I use “putlockers. cr” no spaces obviously. The page has a lot of shitty ads but if you can get through them and search for pumping iron(searchbar top right) you’ll find it. Choose the second server(for me atleast the first server doesnt work) in order to watch it. Good luck and enjoy!

  • hey arnold if you have a great genetic like people says why did you use steroids the people with great genetic doesn’t need steroids and you are so stupid because you did cheat your cute ex wife with your ugly and fat ex maid and the bastard son that you had with her is ugly too what a asshole you are arnold

  • 3:52 “if boxing had Ali. Body Building had Arnold”.. and arm wrestling had John Brzenk. and F1 racing had Michael Schumacher. we are talking about legends here. not only living the sport but embracing it. living it. going 100+ %. because its their passion.

  • I bought the original Pumping Iron DVD and brought it on deployment with me. By the end of the tour, I had half my shop in the gym every day and three workout partners in rotation. We all got huge and looked great, smashing our PRT when we got back.

  • Lou gave Arni serious competition back then and you can see that in the way Arni spends time to psyche Lou out. If Lou had not listened and had more confidence it could of gone either way. Lou was just as big as Arni.

  • This is NOT Pumping Iron, it is a thousand times better than this trash. You’ll have to see it on Netflix or pirate it to see the real one.

  • Remember when that dude from South Africa drop kicked a 70 year old Arnold, and Arnold barely even moved off step and was still standing still.

    The Oak is strong son.

  • the best of what lifting a piece of iron and then go back home and spend one hour in front of a mirror.
i tell you: you didn’t accomplish much in life mister Scw….smth.eger.

  • i used to be 275 pound now im 145 skinny but working out still and when Arnold said that blood rush into muscles how tight like your skin going to explode man i know that feeling

  • Nothing on serge Numbret the uncrown champ it’s unbelievable he is left out in pumping iron becoz even Lou could beat him with loops on tol of glasses of judges.

  • bruh everyone in the gym is so supportive back in the day. today u walk in the gym, they give u that stare, they forget to leave their ego at the doorstep.

  • Arnold had my favorite body of all time, I’m 52 so been in a lot of gyms, seen a massive change in bodybuilding, maybe you like the newer bigger guys but for me, Arnold was the perfect size, symmetry, everything, just god sent genetics!!

  • Hey man, I haven’t seen all of your videos, but I saw one you did on calisthenics and I think you said you didn’t do weights anymore. Have you gone back to the weights? You do luck bulkier here than in that calisthenics video.

  • Lou is actually an unsung hero in this film. And in building. His personal development and physical development is unique and greatly respected by me. I watched this for Lou too.

  • Those bloated new bodybuilders say body building has come a long way in the end……to what looking like ur pregnant and the Michelin tyre mascot

  • Your young, and only time on this Planet and life experiences, will teach you. I don’t agree with some things you debate about….

  • Such a different game back then. Arnold is being an asshole but it’s all like preflight build up. These guys are still great friends. He called Franco a child and they were best friends till the day he died.

  • I get the feeling of cuming at home I’m getting the feeling of cuming in the gym, back stage when I pose of infront of 5000 vier, so I’m cuming day and night I’m mean that’s terrific right? Haha so yah I’m in heaven comedian arnie

  • In the early 90s, bodybuilding lost its way, if I had a time machine, I would definately go back to the 70s and 80s where bodybuilding was at its best.

  • Thumbs up if listening to this in 2017, in the gym with Bluetooth headphones and have nothing but admiration and respect for the golden age of bodybuilding

  • Here is how you figure out how Arnold became the actor star he became. He really got in the role. And he’s a smart guy to have figured all that out.

  • I don’t care that these guys all used steroids to gain beyond whatever their balls could produce. But it sucks for young lifters to idolize these guys and know they can never achieve these gainzz without juicing too.

  • This is why I WISH I was born in the 40s or so so I could of worked out back in the 1970s instead of starting back in 2006. They made the 70s seem f’n awesome!

  • This is the kind of passion you need to succeed in any endeavor. When you’re stupid enough to compare sex to lifting weights you know your mind is focused on winning
