    Looking for a basic plan somewhere to start with then modify for what I need, but I either need to be made of magic or study old sciences.

  • I’m a medical student, and this is basically what they teach in med school. It’s also more or less in line with the newly revised US federal guidelines. I don’t normally comment, but I’ll just say this is legit. The one other thing I’d add is that counting calories really does work so that you can guarantee that you’re either gaining or losing. I like that he shows that he knows that, but also recognizes that it’s not a super user-friendly way to go for most people. Good advice!

  • I wish you’d shown a few photos of yourself in a non-shredded state. It’s very common for fitness guys on social media to preach that it’s okay to not be shredded year round and to not obsess over abs and whatnot, but rarely do they put their money where their mouth is and actually show photos of themselves in this state. I just think it would be helpful to curb the trend of self-conscious body issues that are fostered by social media if the fitness gods that we worship also showed their human side more often.

  • You should avoid drinking a lot of water right after eating as it delutes your stomach acid and slows digestion. Drink water before or wait a little while after.

  • Those side plank crunches were initially so difficult for me, but by Day 11 I was finally able to keep myself up for the full 30 seconds! Now on Day 15, I can do them at almost the same pace as Chloe. If anyone else finds those really difficult, don’t give up they get easier!

  • I never knew my testosterone was so low. I get raging hard ons and I build muscle. However, I was depressed, I moved slow, i lacked any motivation and I felt like crap. I would struggle to to finish a work shift and always had a desire to sleep. My next day on testosterone therapy, I couldn’t stop moving. I kept looking for task at work because I had untapped energy to do so.

    On my day off I walked 14,000 steps for the hell of it.

  • Been doing these work outs for 1 month and 18 days now, cleaned up my diet and tried to add extra physical activity where I could. While I’ve only lost 3kgs (6-7ish pounds?) my body has shaped up, my love handles are disappearing and I am stronger and have more endurance. Keep it up guys we can do this!

  • It’s August 19 2020. After being in quarantine for several months I developed a quarantine body and put on 20 pounds and couldn’t fit into any of my clothes. I decided to try your workout program. I’m absolutely dead. Just the warm up had me dead but I kept pushing through. I’m weighing in at 150 pounds and I’m 5’3 on this first day. Praying this will help.

  • Yeah not everybody can eat like that on a daily basis and lose weight or even be close to the body fat percentage he’s able to maintain. That’s the luxury of being an ectomorph. Eat twice as much, do half the cardio, and still be twice as lean.

  • It kind of bugs me that at the end of her videos she shows her abs… not because I don’t have any but because obviously she has them cause she does all sorts of workouts. In my opinion I think she should put people’s results from that specific workout.     I am a big fan of your scientific approach to workouts and eating. I have a question:
    I go to the gym 3 times a week and eat very little carbs. I have a reasonably lean body with decent muscles but I’ve never been able to get rid of a bloated belly. I have checked with doctors as well but they did not find any issues such as excess gas or similar. I also think when I do abs exercises, I feel the muscle working out. Could there be any other reason why my stomach is always bloated?

  • If someone has real muscles, they will be seen even if the person is going to be 12% of body fat. If he is a middle weight obviously, hes going to look like a warrior. I’m right? I’m sure it depends from genetics too, but i saw people with a lot of fat, natural, but they were so strong or had such big muscles that the muscle had a somewhat.. a shape under his fat, you could somewhat see it, but the muscle is there, if he was to llose a bit more fat i mean, he’s going to be lean right? Or maybe he might just have good genese too.

    I have put a lil fat now, you can’t really see any of my ‘skinny’ muscles lol but when I had less fat, you could see them. I put only fat because i coudn’t exercise and of bad food. Otherwise I was just doing martial arts and my body was just doing great lol i just didn’t eat ‘bad’ food, or junk too much, from time to time sure.

  • 33 years old. Started my journey at 225lbs about 5’10 and according to general test 29# bodyfat. Listening to Coach here has really set me on the right path. Obviously it took my own energy and self will to put in the qork but Coach has been an insane help for someone i thought i didnt like. 6 weeks in i am down to 196lbs and have never had more energy and happiness.   • Should I work out with an empty stomach in the morning? I read somewhere that it affects muscle gain. I’m just a little confused about the calorie deficit parts. If you eat after a workout than that workout is a waste? I usually go out to run in the morning with an empty stomach and come back to eat breakfast later, should I not do that? and if I don’t do that than when is the appropriate time to eat your food after a workout? I’m 6’4, 22 years old, and I’ve been gaining weight since the corona started and I really want to start doing some exercise. I’m just worried about the calorie intake.

  • I stayed at 7-8% naturally,…at 40 years old and stayed like that for one year. No drugs, just nutrition and training. Let me tell you,….it was a dark DARK time in my life. I’m surprised I lived through it. It will make you a different person, and not a good one.

  • At which level should you stop getting more ripped. I am 19 and from watching your videos (najboljši so) I realised that there is a benefit of being lean. I want to gain mussle and at the same time be lean. I have a lot of making mussle work to do. What level of body fat is like OK level to stay on. 10%? I would prefer not taking any supplements and defently not suffer for being being at 6% whole the time. On the other hand there must be a balance to the % of body fat and life stile you have. Whats your opinion on fat% target that I should aim for staying that for the whole life.

  • I’ve watched a whole bunch of videos, and I hear Greg mention fasting in a less positive way a lot. What about if someone’s used to it?
    I’ve been fasting between what is called “warrior’s diet” and the 18h/6h for more then 6 years now, and am able to do cardio everyday, some weight lifting for maintenance, manage to have no cravings during the night, allow myself cheat days for social reasons (or did, before COVID19) and still maintain my weight… would it be better to change these habits anyway? or only if I were to start heavier weight lifting?

  • Just tried liquid muscle pancakes. FYI I did the reduced size one and it was still huge. In fact, too big for one pan (next time I think I’ll make it into two cakes). At first thought it looked gross but it was delicious. The way I made it it had 227 calories, 14g of carbs, 41g of protein, and 2g of fat (and that’s including the syrup). Very happy so far and excited to try some other recipes.

  • Great video mario, I was pretty obsessed at one stage to getting absolutely shredded. But now I don’t really care about the super low body fat % and am now just more relaxed and trying out a lean bulk

  • I finished 2 week shred 2 weeks ago and had a pause because of my PMDD.
    Day 1: I am actually proud and did quite good, I am really happy that I could do everything(with one little break) and I just started working out 4 weeks ago!!

Now I’m 27 years old, I weigh 110 kilograms and do functional trainings! I can’t lose weight (the result of harmonic treatment), tell me how to bring the harmonious background back to normal, is it possible to achieve this only with proper nutrition?

  • Damn that book is too expensive. I know you put a lot of effort into it and it would probably make it more fun and easier to stay lean/make gains. I think a lot more people would buy the book for a reasonable price (20-30$)

    day 1✅it was hard but I did pretty well I will give my self 90% because I didn’t do any jumping because I live on the 6th floor.
    Day 2✅going pretty good Idk why it was more difficult today and I got cramps I can see a change but that is because of my eating habits I guess

  • Today I was finally able to hold myself up and do a plank rotation. I am on day five and I’m super proud of myself. I realized I hated working out at the beginning but once you start you want to keep going. Thank you Chloe!!

  • Hi Doc! Big fan of your videos. Love the info in your videos esp regards to walking, fasting, dieting and insulin/cortisol/hormonal responses. However another youtuber I follow who is a doctor and former olympian has very differing views to yourself, Doctor Stan Ekberg.

    Is there any chance you could do a response video to his claims as I am quite confused by the conflicting information both you gentlemen present.

  • I think guys really need to take a long hard look as to what motivates anyone to strive for being ” Shredded/cut “. Its like striving for the body beautiful has become modern man’s priority. Like I can’t be a man, unless I have a six pack blah blah. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with looking good, being fit and strong. But becoming completely obsessed, is no different from how women use make up, nails hair, fake tans etc. Social Media is making guys feel that without posting ” Shredded ” photos, they can’t be real men. That is a very sad narcissistic state of affairs. By all means train, get strong. But think of all the precious hours you could save, investing that time into getting some knowledge, learning a trade, developing a better you, buildimg a business, acquiring life long skills that will be with you forever.
