Shredded Abs 24/7/365? The Mental Cost of a Shredded Six Pack Maintaining a bodyfat percentage in the 8-15% range year round can be accomplished while still leading a healthy and active social life. On the other hand keeping bodyfat consistently at lower levels requires extreme dedication and constant tracking of macronutrients. Now the price of getting ripped six pack abs might appear to be pretty steep – but the price of being out of shape can be even more costly down the road. It can cost you your confidence, your self-image and most notably, your chances of getting laid.

It Can Be Hard To Find A Trainer You Trust. Social media has reshaped the frontier of fitness. The Cost Of Being Lean.

Ripped six-pack abs. Sexy belly. Toned arms and tight butts. Confidence. Be proud of what you have achieved.

Unshakable health and enviable look is what the fitness industry makes us want. Adding mulch to a garden is typically an early spring chore, but mulch improves a landscape year-round. The average cost for a professional landscaper to put down 500 square feet of bark mulch is $200. Why Use Mulch? First and foremost, mulching helps with moisture retention.

Keeping the soil moist is critical—especially in a drought. It looks manly and it only costs $25.00. The next month was spent fanning out my shirt at the gym to try and cool off my uncomfortably warm abs. The almost-burning sensation isn’t worth it.

You can select the date range for the desired period of time and compare to US Plastic prices for the selected material. If you want to keep your body melting off fat for year-round abs, then lifting heavy weights is a must. Just like HIIT training, heavy weight training is an incredible metabolism booster. You can see an increase in your metabolic rate for up to 48 hours after a heavy session on the weights, according to research.

Six guys with incredibly ripped abs tell you what they did to achieve a eye-popping six-pack. Fitness models and bodybuilders reveal their secrets. 73% of African Americans said they did not have.

Heck yeah, its worth it the fame, the fortune, the women.haha, hope you know none of that is true. I’ve done several professional fitness model shoots and been in some of the mainstream magazines, and the pay is crap. From what I understan. I don’t know dude but most girls, the better ones, don’t like the roid physiques.

Girls fucking admire my body especially at like 10%. I have trained hard and go ham on the booze every now and then. Abs, some nice arms and shoulders and obviously a good butt and legs is what the fine girls like.

Not to mention face is 90% anyway.

  • Every time I try to figure out what a meal plan should look like for me, it’s definitely a nuisance. Pick up a book, long story short it basically says 100% veggie… Next book, first you need to abandon all the body fat percentage tools there are and get calipers to figure out your body fat…
Looking for a basic plan somewhere to start with then modify for what I need, but I either need to be made of magic or study old sciences.

  • Bro I am 6.3ft tall and 97kg
    My diet is:
    Breakfast:800 to 1000calories
    Carbs,fiber, veggies.
    Lunch: 2000 to 3600calories
    veggies, proteins.
    Dinner:1000 to 1500calories
    Carbs,fiber, proteins.

Once in a week I follow the OMAD diet.
OMAD includes: 2000 calories, carbs, proteins, fibres and about 300g of leafy vegetables.

Bro but I am still obese
Suggest me some tips so that I may lose some more weight.
    Help me Bro

  • i was watching a tutorial on javascript and somehow ended up watching all of this not understanding any of it lol. you have a pretty face.:)

  • Richard, Congrats with this great video and your knowledge of the topic. Please, don’t get offended, but you’re Physical Fitness, your body looks great. God bless you.

  • Chloe: Okay time for some plank kicks!:)
My hips: click click clickty clack clack click click Oh and btw I will also click during leg drops and any other exercise requiring my participation:* <3

  • How well would this work for people that don’t bike hundreds of miles a week though… Most of us don’t burn that many calories a day lol

  • *500 REPS CHALLENGE!* Leave a comment with today’s date, how you went on your first try and number of reps if you counted! Comment again when you successfully finished 500 reps!

  • I’m a medical student, and this is basically what they teach in med school. It’s also more or less in line with the newly revised US federal guidelines. I don’t normally comment, but I’ll just say this is legit. The one other thing I’d add is that counting calories really does work so that you can guarantee that you’re either gaining or losing. I like that he shows that he knows that, but also recognizes that it’s not a super user-friendly way to go for most people. Good advice!

  • When he talks about low testosterone what is considered low especially for a 32 year old? Im curious. Mine is at 375 and i workout about 5 days a week and feel like its not high enough. Thouhts?

  • Jeff is the only person I’ll listen to about health and fitness now. He comes with the facts and the science and is reasonable and never bullshits.

  • I wish you’d shown a few photos of yourself in a non-shredded state. It’s very common for fitness guys on social media to preach that it’s okay to not be shredded year round and to not obsess over abs and whatnot, but rarely do they put their money where their mouth is and actually show photos of themselves in this state. I just think it would be helpful to curb the trend of self-conscious body issues that are fostered by social media if the fitness gods that we worship also showed their human side more often.

  • You should avoid drinking a lot of water right after eating as it delutes your stomach acid and slows digestion. Drink water before or wait a little while after.

  • If you want to lose weight, just do the same thing I did. Visit website called Next Level Diet and they will provide you with complete diet meal plan for 30 days, training plan and fitness tips. I lost 20kg!!!

  • Why is this one of the least popular videos on the channel? Smash that like to get the message out! I wish I heard this Younger than 21.

  • Great video. My favourite YouTube trainer, joint with Jeff Cavaliere! It’s great to see someone who has achieved a perfect physique, but realises there’s more to life too! Thanks man.

  • Those side plank crunches were initially so difficult for me, but by Day 11 I was finally able to keep myself up for the full 30 seconds! Now on Day 15, I can do them at almost the same pace as Chloe. If anyone else finds those really difficult, don’t give up they get easier!

  • You missed the part where you have a hard day at work like we all do can imagine this big girls blouse manning whilst grafting in the rain that he can’t make his milk shake what a total waste of space is this what English men are now a days

  • thanks for posting! but… what are you caloric totals? its a great breakdown for macros, but calories can really vary. How many calories are you targeting on a cut and what is your height and weight?? REALLY appreciate your videos bro!

  • Looks a good Video, but it would benefit more if you show how you cook n what all ingredients you added to your meals bit in details n slowly thanks

  • I never knew my testosterone was so low. I get raging hard ons and I build muscle. However, I was depressed, I moved slow, i lacked any motivation and I felt like crap. I would struggle to to finish a work shift and always had a desire to sleep. My next day on testosterone therapy, I couldn’t stop moving. I kept looking for task at work because I had untapped energy to do so.

On my day off I walked 14,000 steps for the hell of it.

  • I got visible abs in one day just by sleeping. The previous six months of healthy eating in a caloric deficit and hard training did nothing. Then one day I woke up and checked the mirror. Boom, abs.

  • Greg is really cool but i cant stop thinking about Mr peabody from problem child everytime he speaks
Keep up the good work big guy

  • The number one reason i respect Arnold Schwarznegger is that this guy is honest and tells people that yes,he used steroids to build his body. Dear bodybuilders, take his exemple and start to admit the truth! Guys its 2020, and its ok if you take steroids to look good stop lying to us about the facts its because of a good diet!!!!

  • She makes this look so easy I really hope this works. Im just a 12 year old weighting over 60Kg With a huge belly and huge thighs. I really hope this works for me.. wish me luck❤️

  • hi Mario good morning, thanks again for an excellent presentation of information ☺

You mentioned in this video how a number of the more popular Instagram / YouTube fitness models with large amount of followers / subscribers maintain a shredded physique year round via utilizing drugs

in your opinion, what are some good ways to identify a natural bodybuilder / fitness model from a drug using bodybuilder / fitness model who claims to be drug free?
which would you say are some of the tell tale signs in terms of identifying a natural bodybuilder / fitness model from a drug using bodybuilder / fitness model who claims to be drug free?

thanks and have a great day ☺

  • This is like impossible to stick to all year round, maybe a few weeks but after that the hunger really gets to you, you can’t just keep on eating chicken fish pork beef etc everyday.

  • Tried coffee and cocoa powder.
    Result:
Greg: try coffee with “chow-chow” powder☕ and popcornas well!
    My butt: please don’t!

  • So today is August 20th and it’s my first time trying this workout. My abs were burning a lot so I took some small breaks in the middle of some exercises but I know I’ll do better in the next weeks. I hope to be able to stay positive through these exercises. I’ll edit this comment at the end of the program.

  • I’m sorry, were there words coming out of your mouth? I just see ✨ and hear British accent.

    Ketchup?!?? Ewwwwww!

    oh Marino.

    So disappointed.

  • Been doing these work outs for 1 month and 18 days now, cleaned up my diet and tried to add extra physical activity where I could. While I’ve only lost 3kgs (6-7ish pounds?) my body has shaped up, my love handles are disappearing and I am stronger and have more endurance. Keep it up guys we can do this!

  • El hombre más bello que vi en años, no puedo dejar de escucharlo ni de verlo, por dios, no puede ser tan perfecto y sexy.

  • It’s August 19 2020. After being in quarantine for several months I developed a quarantine body and put on 20 pounds and couldn’t fit into any of my clothes. I decided to try your workout program. I’m absolutely dead. Just the warm up had me dead but I kept pushing through. I’m weighing in at 150 pounds and I’m 5’3 on this first day. Praying this will help.

  • I can’t do plank position for more than 5 sec because my ass is fat and my arms are weak… I also cant do mountain climber like shit because my hips are fucked upppp. So go off chloe ting bit modified is too hard man. But who knows if I do this challenge for 90 days?

  • Sir i wanna go shredded using only vegetarian foods( no eggs ). Please guide me as I find it difficult to cut carbs while maintaining proteins for the muscle building.

  • I got back my back ache after three days of exercising. I’m hating not been able to perform I had a goal. I so want to get well soon

  • Today is august 19 8:58pm PST.

I can’t do the side plank. I feel like I would break may ankle and shoulder. Am i doing it wrong.
I love all your workout. I wan to have a body like you. thank you for these videos! ❤️

  • Great video bro… for my quick carb I like 2 cups jasmine rice, 1 scoop vanilla whey, a sprinkle of monkfruit sweetener and almond milk…

  • What the actual fck am I doing… 500 reps kidding, love your videos and today I started training again ‍♀️ thank you. Greetings from Austria

  • Second day and i feel like i am kind of dying. Didn’t realize how out of shape i was. While doing push-ups my shoulders hurts really bad someone else feeling this?

  • Yeah not everybody can eat like that on a daily basis and lose weight or even be close to the body fat percentage he’s able to maintain. That’s the luxury of being an ectomorph. Eat twice as much, do half the cardio, and still be twice as lean.

  • The French toast is so delicious!!! I admit I use regular pure maple syrup but I just measure a tablespoon and it’s fine. The FT is so yummy i could eat it without!

  • Bet that those guys dressed as some kind of Aztec Warriors were the ones that wanted to take a picture with you haha. But seriously, another great content:)

  • You look fantastic. Thanks for sharing. I have gained so much weight since having a desk job and a couple of kids. Videos like this give me a solid schematic to follow and encouragement to step up my game. Thanks again, and cheers @marino.

  • So I’m at the start of week 3 of the 28 days shredded challenge and I can almost do this workout without pauses of any sort while at the beginning It used to take me 20 minutes to complete the 10 mins. I’m ️️.

  • It kind of bugs me that at the end of her videos she shows her abs… not because I don’t have any but because obviously she has them cause she does all sorts of workouts. In my opinion I think she should put people’s results from that specific workout. I’m not hating believe me but I just didn’t find the endings very helpful to me (someone who struggles with losing weight and getting abs ;-;)

  • First time doing the workout. Tired AF. The ads in between the exercises are irritating though. It disturbs the flow. Could there be a way to request that these ads be placed before and after the entire video?

  • Heyyyy, once you’ve finished all of your workouts, turn on a fan and lay directly under it, just relax every part of your body. Trust me, it feels amazing. Have a good day xx

  • Mario you are great teacher and motivator… Please make more of videos like this… Young generation will appreciate it. Lots of them need help about self-esteem and real values in life. Thank you for your work, and have a lots of fun…

  • Why do guys who look like that always eat like 85 times more carbs than I do and look 85 times more cut? I knew I was doing everything wrong, but this just cemented it. lol.

  • How do you prepare your chicken breast so it’s not dry and chewy? Every recipe I’ve tried online takes too long and ends up being difficult to eat.

  • Hey Chloe! Im on day 15 and going strong! I just wanna say you’ve been a really big inspiration for me to keep going and thanks to your awesome videos, I’m finally able to get over my insecurity, since I used to be a tad bit overweight. Your videos really helped me improve myself not only physically, but mentally as well!

  • all this f*cking guys give us diets, i eat that i eat that bla bla bla, tell us about the “juice stack” what are u pumping in that ass!

  • Hi Jeff,

I am a big fan of your scientific approach to workouts and eating. I have a question:
I go to the gym 3 times a week and eat very little carbs. I have a reasonably lean body with decent muscles but I’ve never been able to get rid of a bloated belly. I have checked with doctors as well but they did not find any issues such as excess gas or similar. I also think when I do abs exercises, I feel the muscle working out. Could there be any other reason why my stomach is always bloated?

  • Last night I dreamt that my mom bought Ezequiel bread and then made me eat it, in my mind I was like I’ve failed you doctor greg:(

  • If someone has real muscles, they will be seen even if the person is going to be 12% of body fat. If he is a middle weight obviously, hes going to look like a warrior. I’m right? I’m sure it depends from genetics too, but i saw people with a lot of fat, natural, but they were so strong or had such big muscles that the muscle had a somewhat.. a shape under his fat, you could somewhat see it, but the muscle is there, if he was to llose a bit more fat i mean, he’s going to be lean right? Or maybe he might just have good genese too.

I have put a lil fat now, you can’t really see any of my ‘skinny’ muscles lol but when I had less fat, you could see them. I put only fat because i coudn’t exercise and of bad food. Otherwise I was just doing martial arts and my body was just doing great lol i just didn’t eat ‘bad’ food, or junk too much, from time to time sure.

  • Actually thanks for sharing your day of eating.
But three times a day chicken and two times rice sounds for me pretty boring and repeating.
You could have eaten some lents or beans as well or falafel.
And why did you eat that much sweets and sugar.
I don’t think this “diet” is even healthy if you eat like that for long time.

  • 33 years old. Started my journey at 225lbs about 5’10 and according to general test 29# bodyfat. Listening to Coach here has really set me on the right path. Obviously it took my own energy and self will to put in the qork but Coach has been an insane help for someone i thought i didnt like. 6 weeks in i am down to 196lbs and have never had more energy and happiness. Just want to say thanks bro…. You and Ally both. You guys are awesome together! YOU ARE A GREAT PERSON AND ARE HELPING SO MANY PEOPLE. THANKS!

  • 8:40 all these Things happened to my sisters apartment too when it was build the company that hires rhe builders have to come up for the damage i wonder if it was even worth it because the idiots destroy so much. I dont care because im not the one paying in the end and if you got no time limit well then even better

  • I like your content but please stop with the yelling. It’s so annoying. I’d rather paused the video and scroll down the comment section in hope to find someone who has listed everything you have said.

  • you didnt tell how many such meals one can eat. what about the snacking plate? the concept sounds good but this concept is again like shootin in the dark…not exactly knowing what are you putting in. a paranoid person wud end up eatin less calories n a greedy person wud endup eatin more.

  • Should I work out with an empty stomach in the morning? I read somewhere that it affects muscle gain. I’m just a little confused about the calorie deficit parts. If you eat after a workout than that workout is a waste? I usually go out to run in the morning with an empty stomach and come back to eat breakfast later, should I not do that? and if I don’t do that than when is the appropriate time to eat your food after a workout? I’m 6’4, 22 years old, and I’ve been gaining weight since the corona started and I really want to start doing some exercise. I’m just worried about the calorie intake.

  • So, If I starved for about 2.5 years, I was 17, now I’m 19.5years, is that serious? Now I can eat better, and that wasn’t my choice before.

So what would you recommend someone like me, 19years old, who wan’ts to be a top level athlete to do, or to focus on? I, personally, focus on Martial Arts, though I can’t now because of joint problems, though I can go swimming, maybe running.

How can I be in the top 1% of physically fit, and fast man on the earth?

I’m not saying getting into the Olympics, it’s probably too late, but at least just under them. Or what do you think in general?

  • I stayed at 7-8% naturally,…at 40 years old and stayed like that for one year. No drugs, just nutrition and training. Let me tell you,….it was a dark DARK time in my life. I’m surprised I lived through it. It will make you a different person, and not a good one.

  • Thanks for the video, man. I’ve been avoiding looking up nutrition for 5 years now. People make it seem so overwhelming to get a handle on proper nutrition with all the different little metrics people seem to be balancing. You pretty much confirmed my theory that it’s really as simple as not eating like a dummy. Thanks for the workout videos too, other people (and myself) are noticing the gains and losses! Keep it up

  • I love how fucking simple you explain all this shit I’m sick of the high profile “fitness” channels that explain nutrition using copy & paste scientific articles and just say “6 meals a day” saying to do 58 different exercises in one gym session and take 20 different supplements lol

  • First day of this challenge and this video was too hard. After finishing two challenges, some weeks ago i did quit workout cause lazyness and motivation lack. And there are still more videos to go on day 1. Okay, lets do this.

  • At which level should you stop getting more ripped. I am 19 and from watching your videos (najboljši so) I realised that there is a benefit of being lean. I want to gain mussle and at the same time be lean. I have a lot of making mussle work to do. What level of body fat is like OK level to stay on. 10%? I would prefer not taking any supplements and defently not suffer for being being at 6% whole the time. On the other hand there must be a balance to the % of body fat and life stile you have. Whats your opinion on fat% target that I should aim for staying that for the whole life.

    Hvala za vse:)

  • I’ve watched a whole bunch of videos, and I hear Greg mention fasting in a less positive way a lot. What about if someone’s used to it?
I’ve been fasting between what is called “warrior’s diet” and the 18h/6h for more then 6 years now, and am able to do cardio everyday, some weight lifting for maintenance, manage to have no cravings during the night, allow myself cheat days for social reasons (or did, before COVID19) and still maintain my weight… would it be better to change these habits anyway? or only if I were to start heavier weight lifting?
Great informative videos, anyway! Thanks a bunch, cheers from Portugal!

  • Just tried liquid muscle pancakes. FYI I did the reduced size one and it was still huge. In fact, too big for one pan (next time I think I’ll make it into two cakes). At first thought it looked gross but it was delicious. The way I made it it had 227 calories, 14g of carbs, 41g of protein, and 2g of fat (and that’s including the syrup). Very happy so far and excited to try some other recipes.

  • 1:04 hey! That’s kinda like what my mom does! Every Saturday she makes 10 banana/protein pancakes and throughout the week my bro and I toast them for breakfast! I have been eating the same 3 breakfasts for the past 5 years but I never get sick of it. But dang that French toast looks goooood as well

  • I’m doing this with 3/6 the plate veg 2/6 proteins and 1/6 slow carbs and good fats (mostly chicken a fish for the protein) but should I have more carbs or maybe more starchy carbs now that, although I am working on losing a bit more body and belly fat, I am pretty happy with my weight, visual fat and muscles?

  • Me: asking the store clerk “where’s the RAB”?
Store Clerk: “RAB”?? Me: Yeah the “Regular Ass Bread”!!

  • HE HAS NO life guys… imagine you live his life.. only food that is not like pizza cevapcici wiener snicel cake icecream.. his life is ruined.

  • nice body, nice job, congratulations, but guys its not only about diet here, but you are inspiring dude just tell the full truth and keep up the good work

  • Thank you broth for all this motivation and information
Please i need this background song in the party of workout is amazing ✌️

  • ha,ha,!! ive watched (ff watched) two videos of him,,,,,,,and its just him with the fucking camera in his face talking!?!?!,,, show what your eating,,what you made,,show charts,,show the food you bought,,,anything!!! but just having the camera on your face is,,,,,,,so,,,,

,,when your body is naturally skinny and small its easy as fcuk to gain a little muscle and APPEAR as if your healthy and fit….
fucking skinny lightweight men have it made!!! sooo lucky!!! im jealous how they dont havs to do shit to keep the weight off or down,,,,
,,,,but the bad part is,,,,,their light weight,,,,

  • Great video mario, I was pretty obsessed at one stage to getting absolutely shredded. But now I don’t really care about the super low body fat % and am now just more relaxed and trying out a lean bulk

  • I finished 2 week shred 2 weeks ago and had a pause because of my PMDD.
Day 1: I am actually proud and did quite good, I am really happy that I could do everything(with one little break) and I just started working out 4 weeks ago!!

Stay strong everyone, you can do it!!!!

  • Hello, I have a problem and I can’t find a solution. I am from Russia, and for a long time I suffered from psoriasis and could not go in for sports. Now I’m 27 years old, I weigh 110 kilograms and do functional trainings! I can’t lose weight (the result of harmonic treatment), tell me how to bring the harmonious background back to normal, is it possible to achieve this only with proper nutrition?

  • 180lbs to 148lbs in 4months using this method(I am going through ax1)
    I didn’t know I had abs lol.
This actually works and it is wonderful because it is so simple.
I can just change the portion of foods on my plate.
    الحمد لله
Jeff. This guy is really legit and I trust him.

  • but your rip all year? ok what if i get to a point i build almost all the muscle i can i then get rip is it healthy to stay at maintenance?

  • i m curious i have read that abs workouts dont really work for removing belly fat which is my main goal so will this help in anyway for someone who wants to get rid of the bulging belly

  • Damn that book is too expensive. I know you put a lot of effort into it and it would probably make it more fun and easier to stay lean/make gains. I think a lot more people would buy the book for a reasonable price (20-30$)

  • I love your account but I know the girl has a banging body and you guys are together so it would be nice to expand your videos to more woman and show what she eats in a day and how different it can be from you sometimes!

  • Going to do this for 3 weeks, and will update each week
    Week 1️⃣
day 1✅it was hard but I did pretty well I will give my self 90% because I didn’t do any jumping because I live on the 6th floor.
Day 2✅going pretty good Idk why it was more difficult today and I got cramps I can see a change but that is because of my eating habits I guess

  • Crazy just watched the video with you and Thor, so decided to watch a few of you’re videos and you’re training at the gym I go to the chances of that

  • Today I was finally able to hold myself up and do a plank rotation. I am on day five and I’m super proud of myself. I realized I hated working out at the beginning but once you start you want to keep going. Thank you Chloe!!

  • Like Jeff Logan… do you do modeling gigs? And that is a big azz bowl of cereal. hehe.:) Man, that food would be too much for me. Then again, I’m not big and bulk and burning few thousands calories a day.:)

  • I’m staring the 4 week shred today, I have done 3 workouts so far. I’m starting this challenge weighing just a little over 100kg I’m so happy I’m able to keep up and not give up.

  • People don’t let these drug addicts bullshit you with the meals they are taking drugs for sure natural is the way not needles eat right train right sleep right you will gain…

  • your view on fitness and diet is so simple and effective that i shouldn’t have followed a specific strict diet to lose my weight. I now realize that diets should be for long term like you explain. Life shouldn’t be torture. You’re an intelligent “human being”

  • Hi Doc! Big fan of your videos. Love the info in your videos esp regards to walking, fasting, dieting and insulin/cortisol/hormonal responses. However another youtuber I follow who is a doctor and former olympian has very differing views to yourself, Doctor Stan Ekberg.

Is there any chance you could do a response video to his claims as I am quite confused by the conflicting information both you gentlemen present.

    Thank you.

  • For me it’s not worth the $100.. Ive never paid for a trainer in my life cuz I am one but love Greg and his wisdom is always spot on ✌️

  • I think guys really need to take a long hard look as to what motivates anyone to strive for being ” Shredded/cut “. Its like striving for the body beautiful has become modern man’s priority. Like I can’t be a man, unless I have a six pack blah blah. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with looking good, being fit and strong. But becoming completely obsessed, is no different from how women use make up, nails hair, fake tans etc. Social Media is making guys feel that without posting ” Shredded ” photos, they can’t be real men. That is a very sad narcissistic state of affairs. By all means train, get strong. But think of all the precious hours you could save, investing that time into getting some knowledge, learning a trade, developing a better you, buildimg a business, acquiring life long skills that will be with you forever.

  • I started today.Great work. Its difficult unfortunately to find protein cheese and other stuff of last meal in Greece but i will try to.Thanx a lot, great body btw.

  • Hello there, i enjoyed the video, lovded how u depend on ur self in coocking, but u need to add alot of minerals to ur diet, i didn’t see vit c in it, the VIT E was only in the salmon, which was frozen not fresh directly from the sea, and ur diet lack some fibers and antioxidants which u can get only from vegetables, where is the sweet potato, the nuts, avocado.,and alot more, nonthlese loved the video and pressed like

  • Some very good points here. Also lighting and the way those photos are taken make a huge difference to how those instagram photos look. Most times those guys will pump themselves up with a workout, get the overhead lights shining on their bodies to really show off their abs and take the photo which makes them look alot more ripped than they actually look just day to day.
Connor murphy (even tho i think he’s a shallow clown) actually posted a video showing this where he stands out in the sun and then goes and stands in the shade and the difference is unbelievable
One piece of constructive criticism, when you use multiple cameras and then talk off to the side in the video it becomes very impersonal. I notice alot of youtubers doing this. I don’t know if it’s for the editing process or what but it makes it seem like you’re not even talking to the audience who are watching you. You wouldn’t do it while in person so why do so many do it on videos?

  • When is one of these guys going to make one of these videos of “how I stay shredded” and really show why they are shredded (roids)

  • idk if I’m doing something wrong but my neck is starting to kill when I do this challenge, anyone know how to combat this or what I might be doing wrong?

  • Brother, if possible to you give someone instructorion (like diet plan, workout plan beginning to or like your first day till the date.

  • it was day 1 of the Summer Shred challenge and i got 450 reps down here, i think that’s pretty good considering i haven’t worked for a while

  • Visit website called NextLevelDiet and get complete guide for your transformation. I got personalized meal plan for 28 days which contains ONLY food that I have chosen. They provided me with complete DIET PLAN for 30 days with TRAINING PLAN included and I finally started seeing results.

  • Amen to previous comment!! I’ve lifted weights 6 days a week for over 21 years. Viewers of this video…do NOT be fooled by guys like this! I PROMISE YOU this guy is on gear.

  • I was doing this workout and my cat attacked my laptop, so I had to rush to him before any damage was done
so more exercise for me I guess

  • This is so unfair. I workout so bloody hard and eat so clean. You eat thousands and thousands of calories and look like that. If I ate even a fraction of what you eat I would be so effing fat. Yes. Fat.

  • Thanks for this video. Going from obese at 230lbs last July to 150lbs now (at 6ft), it has taken some time for me to get out of that “dieting” mindset and to finally focus on getting bigger and stronger at the gym. Videos like this reinforce the idea that I don’t have to be super serious with tracking all my food and whatever, I can just eat sensibly and focus on making progress at the gym. Thanks Mario!

  • As someone who has been working out for only a year or so this topic was very poignant. I follow the IG “fitspos” and you tubers and wonder how they do it. I’ve been going hard at it after I got my self in really bad shape. And I have managed to go from 24% body fat to 16%. It takes so long and so much work. All those people are selling a false hope to people. Good to see a youtuber with real talk and real info and timelines. Thank you

  • I got the same problem with builders right now! House should be ready in december 2019 and now its almost august!!!! a 4 year old child could paint better than the guy i PAID. i just dont get how these people can keep working like this. if i would work like this i`d be fired immediately. theres problems in every single room. oh well… maybe i am asking for too much here…. it’s not that I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT TIL I AM 65 YEARS OLD OR SOMETHING!!! -_-

  • There’s also a mental aspect to eating/diet. When I would be at work at a desk I knew what time of day it was by my stomach. On weekends, busy, more physically active…I wouldn’t eat as much during the day and not really notice any hunger. Why is that? Hmmmm…

  • As a beginner my advice for other newbies is to take time to understand what each exercise is about and how to do it best. I pause the video and try my best to copy what chloe is doing in order to get the most out of my workout. I’ve seen better results this way.

  • I got down to 7.8% naturally, and I’m 53. I was adding muscle and losing fat while adding a few lbs. I’m under 140 lbs, so I’m not talking a significant amount here. I’m pretty lean, but I wouldn’t say shredded. I focus on cardio mostly. I eat about 2,500 calories a day. If I spent more time weight lifting, I could probably get more shredded.

  • Truth right here. Only reason to lower my body fat by a little is to show some abs during summer. Other than that I’m in a caloric surplus 10 months/12.

  • You can be fit strong and growing while being shredded. Your entire video is pointless. Being shredded is great. Terrible advice in general.

  • Progress Down Below

  • Oh oh more yelling. What’s going on? You’re frustrated… but is this something someone told you to get more likes?

—-> because if this is the direction you’re headed, I don’t know if I can listen anymore. Prefer your calm, mild mannered (Canadian?) reserved nature best

  • Did you hear about *Next Level Diet*? These guys deserve a medal. Their customized training and diet plan helped me change my life. I can’t thank them enough

  • I wonder what you define as “shredded.” When you say that, do you mean in the sense that they just have defined muscles and you can visibly see the six pack pretty clearly, or do you mean 5% body fat? I only ask because your pretty lean and have good abs and you don’t take drugs but still maintain throughout the year. So do others like Big brandon Carter, scott Herman, bar brothers ect.

  • I make all my breakfast lunch and dinner on a Sunday night for Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday, I also buy all my water for the full week And ( I have what ever breakfast I want what ever lunch I want and what ever dinner I want ) and the rest of my money is put in my mother’s bank so that I can’t buy anything else to eat that’s bad for me or drink!!! I workout 4 days a week and I do cardio 4 days a week I also walk 1 hour a day 4 days a week and 2 hours a day the rest of the 3!! I’m now 75kg and shredded at 5’11

  • Hey Mario! I hope you were able to get new camera equipment after what happened! Also, I sent you a message on Facebook, but I don’t think you got it. I was wondering if I could schedule a meeting over Skype or wherever you prefer to talk about a supplement that I’d like you to try and review! I work for the company and it’s something that I think could benefit you and also a lot of people, so it would be awesome to have someone like you on board! Message or reply and I’ll give you more information! Thanks Mario:)

  • Whoever is about to give up after doing this, this may 24th day of summer shred nd i finally hv started loving these exercises except lateral plank raises nd boat curves
P.s sweat dropping on phone while typing

  • Hi Doc! Big fan of your videos. Love the info in your videos esp regards to walking, fasting, dieting and insulin/cortisol/hormonal responses. However another youtuber I follow who is a doctor and former olympian has very differing views to yourself, Doctor Stan Ekberg.

    Thank you.

  • its summer, im 16 and in a deficity, ive been working out for 6 months, i want to get slightly lean this summer, im not talking about veins and being shredded, just a lower bodyfat. is that fine?

  • Anybody else whose knees pain while doing exercises like mountain climbers and up-down planks?? Idk why my knees pain. Somebody please help me

  • This is probably the best message about health and nutrition I have heard in awhile! It really takes the stress and constant guilt off people’s mind who are constantly fed with the nonsense of having to be shredded year round.

Out of curiosity, why do you choose to be shredded year round? Seems somewhat hypocritical to tell people not to be shredded year round when all your thumbnail photos from January to December are photos of you with a six pack..

  • Hey! I generally avoid sugar unless I am eating fruit or am having an Off Meal or an Off Day. Your morning shake has Almond Milk (which contains only 2% Almonds) & Honey which contains virtually no fiber, fat or protein but mostly sugar.
Have you considered using Goat Milk instead of Almond Milk and keeping Honey out of it?

  • I decided today to stop eating sugar or drink it, and besides water to drink only coffee, but I don’t know if it will really help me in losing body fat. I also don’t have access to a gym because of the pandemic, any ideas?

  • People like you are The Poster Children for Superficiality! Obsessed by How you look. And feel the need to come on YouTube to Show off your Hot Bods. Just sayn. And just my opinion.. taking care of yourself, And Wanting to look good is Completely fine, But Folks like you I can tell take it to The Extreme

  • So inspiring and eye opening. You continuously motivate me to push beyond my goals and to rethink what they are in the first place. Your insight is so different from many others on social media Love it. Keep it up Mario. Huge fan and follower here.

  • Today’s video is about a topic I had to get off my mind into the world as I see a lot of guys falling for the trap the current society has set up. Let me know in the comments how this resonated with you. Talk soon! -Mario
