Email; Over the course of this year (2014), I’ve set about 85 new personal records (PR’s, also known as personal bests) in the high bar squat, low bar squat, front squat, bench press, deadlift and overhead press.. In fact, my last 30+ training sessions resulted in at least 1 PR per workout. Now, this may be typical for someone in their novice stages of training who undergo the stress, recovery.

Pro: only has 1 max session every 4 weeks so I’m guessing it would mean more assurance in getting a PR (maybe?) Con: could be mentally discouraging to train for 4 weeks and not get a PR. • This nigga lexx dropped out of high school freshman year I bettt to inject needles lmaooo kid says natural but stronger than Omar isuf who’s been training for years but natural yea kid you know you inject all kinds of hormones into you

  • Yo are the Inaka wraps or sleeves ever going to be approved in any PL feds? I’m thinking of buying them but don’t want to have to buy another pair for competition.

  • What kind of training split do you do, and how often do you train. I am currently doing a PPL split twice per day, and am seeing improvements, any advise?

  • If I had to compete against Ronnie, I would want him tested for bionic parts. This is not human lifting that much weight. That’s why he’s the best

  • Tristyn, how big are your arms around?
I am sure they are not bigger than 14.5 in. But of course they LOOK big on your short limbs and with your low bodyfat.
Or am I wrong with my estimation?

  • Ngl its kinda sad that I out weigh him but he can lift double probably triple me in some lifts. Good job definitely motivation for me to compete this year

  • Bro I want to meet you after lockdown from which country would you belongs. Plz kindly tell me your country name plz bro plz I request you

  • Okay, something just doesn’t make sense. Lexx claims natty and James openly admits using PEDs. However, James PRs on the big three lifts are JUST a little bit over Lexx’s when he has clearly at least 2-3 years more of training. This would be ok if James was just another gym bro with average genetics, but he isn’t. He literally was second place on the Powerlifting Worlds! It’s pretty suspicious that Lexx just gets stronger and bigger while being so lean. Dylan is on roids, Anthony is on roids, James is on roids, Ryan was on roids and Dave has a 99% chance of being on roids meanwhile Lexx is BIGGER and OUTLIFTS some of them while being 100% natty. If he was being honest about his natty status, THEN what is he going to lift when he is on roids? Deadlift 900 pounds? It just doesn’t make sense.
Before people believe I am hating on Lexx I want to say I’m a fan of his channel, I am subscribed and watch almost every single video because this man makes good fkin content! I genuinely enjoy your videos and would still support you even if you say u are taking “x” drugs. I want to believe you are natural, but with these lifts and physique level, it is just really hard. If you are taking anything your fanbase would appreciate your honesty before Coach Greg or Philion calls you on being a fake natty. Have a nice day

  • Dam Brian hahahah I like how you say “Happy Wife happy Life.” And I want to buy your evolution gear product but with this shut down and less hours from work totally sucks! One day I’m going to purchase your products!

  • Can someone give me a run down of the songs in this video? I wanna download them, but I’m watching this while finishing a workout Also, fantastic video as usual RUSS

  • Brian has got to be one of the most well spoken and true gentlemen of the sport a real roll model I truly wish you all the best in life

  • Having a gym like James where you can come in at night be alone/w friends and scream a mess around is a GUNTHING blessing sirs

  • Brian, I have a humble request to your that please make a video with Evan centopani. That guy is as humble as you are, as sweet as you are, as smart as you are, as strong as you are.

We would love to see you both train together or even have a conversation. Please ❤️❤️

  • 100lb dumbbell shoulder presses you’re asking for a whole world of hurt it will just take a split second one of these days and your lifting career you aspire to will end. Folks, please do not do this (or attempt this). There is absolutely ZERO reason except for damages to your shoulders lifting a 100lb dumbbell over your shoulders. Youtube is a great platform for sharing ideas and anything goes but sometimes these types of videos should have a huge disclaimer so that other young people watching and wanting to perform this won’t hurt themselves.

Many of these young self-made work-out kids have absolutely no clue to proper weight training. Injury and long term pain is in the future for this young fellow =(

  • Where are all those mf that said small calves bodybuilders are weak as shit? Look at larry, he has the strength of a freakin monster

  • 1. Do you eat food before you workout, if so how much food and how long do you wait before you start your workout. 2. Do you eat food after your workout, if so what foods would you put in your body and how much of that food.

  • Elbow sleeves or wraps what are everyone thought?

Thinking of buying one or the other and what brands do you guys use from personal experience. Looking for feedback.

  • 5 guys 50% off in UK Monday to Wednesday stm. Our response to corona eat out to help out govt covers half the cost… Bulking just got easier.

  • Man I wish I could workout right now but I broke my arm, won’t be able to come back until mid September maybe, but when I do I will revisit this video cause it had me hype af, I am doing legs (on machines) and abs/ cardio at least that’s something, much love!

  • I’m gonna buy a belt, but those screws need to be made different brotha. They are flaking off metal bits amd you fumble around the fastener.

  • My goal is to be as strong as I can as naturally as I can, no roids, no belt and no straps, I should get atleast 500-600 deadlift. Let’s go!!!!

  • To this day there is not one person who has done 8 smooth reps of bent over rows with 5 plates each side with the same technique as Ronnie. Nor the 2300 lbs legg press for 8 reps, nobody jas dubicated those lifts ever. Shit!

  • Wait. what about hypertrophy lifts? Cant keep constant tension and hold air can you? I cant anyway. My lungs arent that great. Always so out of breath after squats.

  • Thanks for letting me know how to use it properly. I usually just put mine on tight as hell and do the rep. I never felt a help of the belt until today when I did what you said. My squat went from 285 to 310 today!!

  • Awesome video about using what kind of belt and how to use. Use of belt is another essential part that lots of people don’t really give too much importance. Thanks for the demo bro.

  • I wouldn’t wear those wristwraps if someone gave them to me. Not because they’re American Flag, but because the blue is very wrong. It’s way too bright.

  • awsome video very imformative.Check me out im a natural bodybuilder I been training over 20 years and I also sell programs https://youtu.be/cEWDGqOelDw

  • Astounding Work, I enjoyed it a lot!, See this channel for a lot of gaming videos, SEXY Movie clips, channel link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtoz2QzjlKmhpx0uuWvZlXg, you can try:)

  • The worst “missed call” of my life was when my lifting partner couldn’t reach me the day Ronnie Coleman was training at our gym, Strong and Shapely in East Rutherford, NJ.

Had I taken that call I would have dropped everything and went straight to the gym.

“The biggest, strongest guy you’d ever see in your life” is the way my gym buddy described him.

  • Shout out your girl is a big look Larry knowing you have the positive support helps you mentally and physically, relationships ain’t perfect but you got this bro keep grinding

  • I’m a 15 year old starting to take powerlifting serious cause of this man right here but I haven’t been able to get my hands on one of these belts they are sold out right now ☹️

  • Ronnie was a true bodybuilding phenomenon. Based on what we know about bodybuilding he just shouldn’t have been able to build the incredible muscle that he did training the way he did. Yet he was the world’s best 8x and will go down as arguably the greatest of all time.

  • Even tho it’s probably only very serious clientele in this gym, whenever they see Ronnie roll in they gotta be like “f it ill come in later when weights are available”

  • that’s why i have 3 wives and they are not allowed to talk to me when training, if one goes 2 will remain, you men need to learn from me. and they have understood that if they leave me after they have a child with me i will kill them, so i know they will stay forever

  • Hey Brian, can you tell us how you prefer to warm up your shoulder for such a heavy shoulder press? I really have shoulder problems and have to warm them up extremely well,

    Thanks,
    Matt

  • Brain you get injured too much. You need a better massage therapist. I feel like everytime i watch one of your videos your talking about an injury. How many times do you get injured a year. @brainshaw.

  • Watching and listening to Brian Shaw is the only thing that’s keeping me level headed this year. If Brain Shaw winning the 2020 World’s Strongest Man title is the only good thing coming out of the year for me, I will gladly take it. I’m not even asking to win the Powerball.

  • Ok how many people wana see Brian Shaw and Matt Stonie eat together and see who can put down more food because I’d pay to see that XD

  • As a guy who struggles to gain weight, even though I work out like crazy,I’m very grateful for your meal videos.Hearing you say that putting on weight sometimes comes down to force feeding really helps me to not feel like I’m turning into a crazy person, because I now eat around 5k calories a day, most of it rice and fish and meat.Skip the chicken stock though.Hopefully I’ll put on more muscle by following the diet.I know 5k isn’t that much to you,but for a guy my size it’s way too much.

  • James: ‘We’re not going to say fuck anymore, just gunther, it was Lexx’s ideia’

*The workout was so gunthering euphoric that they had to let the testosterone come out in some way *

  • Hey Larry I want the red in a extra large but use are out of stock and I’ve emailed them on the sight 2 times no1 is getting back to me for a week now any better way to sort a belt out? Haha

  • I wonder if MRE that soldiers that have around 6000 calories would be good for a strongmans diet and cheaper than making and buying food worth 12000 calories.

  • Hey Brian Shaw I am curious if your pulled left pec started in your 530 pound bench pr for 2 reps. Your left side took a little longer to get up and then next bench session you miss grooved it a little bit. Hope you are feeling 100 percent now!

  • I clicked on this right after watching Anthony’s vlog today……the difference In diet is hilarious…lexx literally started this video with a milkshake…I love it

  • please do a gym fail reaction video….those gym fails are so funny…..

btw..always watch ur videos..and its so motivational….keep it up

  • I went to check out the belts, I’d recommend that they put the belt sizes on the website. Not just S, M, L, XL, but the measurements too

  • Brian, just an opinion for shoulder pressing, to keep joints good, I wouldn’t go down past 90 degrees while pressing. Very hard on shoulder joints past 90 degrees!! I love watching your videos, keep up the good work!!

  • Great video, and very glad to see the pec is a-ok!

Gotta admit, my OCD kicked in big time when Brian ended his last two sets on 13 reps… never end on an odd number, especially 13!

Can’t wait for the next vid, thanks Brian & Tyler.
