What’s in your gym bag? Let the world know. This poll allows you to make multiple selections and choose up to five items. Menu. Cancel View cart.

Store Shop By Brand Best Sellers Top 40 Products Top 30 Brands Top 10 BCAAs Top 10 Creatines Top 10 Fat Burners. You never know when your BFF is going to invite you out after the gym. Be ready so you don’t have to stress about it. Honorable Mentions. Now that you have filled your gym bag with all kinds of goodies, it is not a bad idea to make sure you have a lock in your bag.

That way, you can lock up your bag once you get to the gym and you won’t. Your gym bag should be your fitness “bag of tricks.” Although every gym bag is unique, and will probably reflect the fitness goals and personality of the person who carries it, every bag should have a few essentials. These fitness must-haves are perfect for anyone and any goal. No more going to the gym empty-handed!The first rule of thumb about gym bags is to forget trying to figure out what’s in everyone else’s bag.

Your gym bag is your gym bag. Nobody’s going to carry the exact same stuff, but there are definitely some gym staples that everyone can consider must have items. The 2nd rule of thumb about gym bags is to keep it small.

You don’t need a bag. If you pride yourself on going to the gym multiple times a week and squeezing in a workout at the beginning or end of the workday, chances are you keep a gym packed and ready to go at all times. Whether you’re into yoga, kickboxing, weight lifting, or cycling, every fitness-obsessed woman needs a perfectly curated gym bag. The most important item you should have in your fitness bag is the right shoe. According to Cary Zinkinm DPM, podiatric sports physician and spokesperson for the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), shoes that are thin-soled typically lead to heel pain, especially in older adults.

Low blood sugar, sweaty hair, split shorts A lot can go wrong during your workout. That’s why we asked personal trainers & fitness experts to reveal what gear & equipment they always to keep in their gym bags. From baby wipes to hair ties, learn from their mistakes and keep these life-saving items on hand so you’ll be ready for any emergency.

Because for some reason, you always have 427 on your wrist when you don’t need them, but zero extras when the one in your hair breaks. Keep a spare pack in your gym bag. Water Bottle: Sure, you could rely on your gym’s water fountain, but avoid having to hop off the treadmill mid-workout by packing your own water bottle. Try Welly’s Traveler bottle ($33), which you can carry with you, clip to your bag or slip in a side pocket. Plus, it comes with a removable infuser so you can add lemon or other fruit for refreshing post-workout hydration.

9. Clean-Dirty Packing Cube. The last thing you want to do after a sweaty workout is to spread that sweat around to your other gear! One thing you have to put in your gym bag is a clean dirty packing cube, which allows you to pack clean clothes on one side and dirty on the other.

  • Great tip for using the resistance bands for warming up! Those outdoor cardio exercises look interesting. Are you planning on making a video with a few of those?

  • get new underwear, sewn by children making 2 dollars a day and just throw the old ones with all chemicals used to make them into the trash!

    CPL/USMC

  • I opened my gym bag….found a pair of smelly worn out sneakers, half eaten protein bar and a shaker that hasn’t been cleaned in weeks.

  • Tony, super! But the topic with the vest-weighting is not disclosed…

And you can add a list of your gadgets to the description. Thanks!

    Respect from Russia!

  • love it! I just started my own YouTube Channel during quarantine Would love your support go check out the video I just posted today reviewing my new Dagne Dover gym bag!:)

  • Wierded out by buying underwear at the store.
Doesnt mind modeling them for thousands on YouTube one bit haha.
This is the world we live in haha.

  • You might like the SBD belt since its essentially a lever belt with the ability to change the tightness like a prong belt. SBD has their hand around ipf though so I try not to support them but their belt is the only one like this on the market besides pioneers buckle that allows for a.5 inch adjustment but sadly its not ipf approved.

  • Bro nice info but one thing most of the men don’t go to gym for impressing girls. Rather they do it for the reflection in the mirror.

  • I noticed that you are wearing a Fitbit! Can you make a video on how you incorporate that into your lifestyle? Do you actually use it to track calories/ cardio etc? Would know what you think about the accuracy of the device etc.

  • My gym bag: pre workout for those bad days, bcaas for post workout, creating monohydrate even tho hydrochloride is better (post workout for both) but I don’t even take creatine right now. Also a funnel to mix all the above in my water

  • Thanks mate, I really liked the basic part which we ignore before hitting in gym. Perfect shoe is one of the important stuff we ignore.

  • In my weight bag I have coconut water for after my workout. Water for during and whey protein shake for after a workout. A towel. Depending on the day, a ab roller or leg and arm weights. And thats it…. Its actually pretty sad looking gym bag lol.

  • Honestly, it bothers me quite a lot, that you promote straps as a “must have” and as an “essential” item. Both you and I know, it’s not.
Yes, it can help if your grip strength is too weak, but if you just don’t use straps in the first place, grip strength will increase as well. Using straps won’t allow that.
The way these products are presented and marketed can seem a bit dishonest, which I highly doubt is your intention. I know you gotta do your thing, it’s a business, and you want people to buy the product. But don’t lie man…

  • You can get the exact same wraps here for 2$ https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Weight-Lifting-Strap-Fitness-Gym-Sport-Wrist-Wrap-Bandage-Hand-Support-Wristband/32765676769.html?spm=a2g0z.search0104.3.1.63e35b67yH5h0o&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_8_10065_10068_10843_319_10059_10884_317_10887_10696_321_322_453_10084_454_10083_10103_10618_10304_10307_10820_10301_10821_537_536,searchweb201603_52,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=a6f0803c-b1cc-40a7-816b-f5ad41fd56b6-0&algo_pvid=a6f0803c-b1cc-40a7-816b-f5ad41fd56b6&transAbTest=ae803_5

  • pahhahahaha the belt story got me laughing.  And the video I saw this morning about what you wrote on the crossfit gym wall was funny as fuck

  • How do you carry the glute bands, the ankle straps, the sliders and your phone around the gym? Do you actually carry that big bag around or do you use a smaller one and leave the big one in a locker? Especially now when gyms will re open I will take all my stuff with me, I do not want to touch the gym’s equipment like I did before coronavirus (of course I’m not talking about dumbbells or machines, I’m sure the gym will have all that figured out) but if I can carry my personal glute bands, my sliders, my ankle straps I think it’s better. I just have never done it before because we didn’t have to live with this terrible virus. If anyone reads this and has a hack or something it’ll be greatly appreciate it!!

  • I have ointment for my shoulder and my knee, Aleve, change for buying water at the gym, my knee wrap for support, lotion, hair bands, pad to write any notes or info… plus some items you listed.

  • poor guy, it seemed like his parents pressured him into a sports bad advert and he really didnt want to do it. but he did it anyway cause he has class and didnt wanna upset his mom and dad. Tragic, very tragic indeed

  • Hello tony. Folk you can do a video about the other tools in your training. For example the size and weight of the tires. The velts. The circuits. I really love your workouts.

  • You watch Cal’s videos on his channel and you’ll quickly realize that he doesn’t carry a good 70% of the shit he just said he does

  • I ain’t trying to sound cliche but you are one of my inspirations. “You got to finish what you started. Doesn’t matter how long it takes you finish it.” I keep that in mind not just when I am working out but also when it comes to other aspects in my life. God Bless you.

  • 15 things damn i don’t even have a bag all i take is my water gallon and maybe my headphones. and gym shorts and vest if i’m going after work which is always the case

  • Hey Merijn, found a new way to watch your videos. In my new car radio with YouTube. Excellent way to spend my time in a Dutch traffic jam

  • Dont forget fast acting insulin and dextrose!!!!!Stop lying to people to sell them your shitty products, which dont help anyway, to get that big. Talk about testosterone, anadrol, growth hormone and insulin and dont forget the anti estrogens

By the way, i got a question for you:
If i were to make a weekly schedule for weight/fat loss training with dumbbells at home and by following your workout videos that focuses on diffrent body parts, how exactly do i do it without overexerting and avoid any negative impact on the body?

Sorry if the question is kind of repetitive or out of context due to it to not relate to this video.. i just want to know how..

Thanks, lots of love and support for you from Malaysia..
