Maximum Natural Rate of Muscle Growth

Hypertrophy (muscle size) is established best with a range of six to 12 reps. A bit lower and higher than that range will still result in gains in muscle size and strength but six to 12 is the ideal area for optimal. Ok, let’s quickly review the best way to build muscle without steroids: Start by getting lean (12-15% body fat) This will increase your testosterone, and you’ll look better naked. Next, start gaining weight (2.

“Packing on natural muscle takes patience and persistence,” Aguzzi says. “A good amount of muscle gain can be achieved by gaining 10-15 pounds over 6-12 months. It took me about a year to. I’ll then provide a two phase sample routine you can follow to build lean muscle.

Rule #1: Workout Frequency for the Natural Lifter. Your training frequency will dictate your ability to maximize muscle growth as a natural bodybuilder. With every training session you hit as a natural, you induce muscle. Examples include weight lifting, sprinting, resistance training and hill climbing.

Anaerobic exercise is the most effective type of exercise for building muscle. The optimal heart rate for anaerobic exercise is 80. No. To build muscle you must eat more calories than you expend every day.

The point is to use the correct amount of food to allow your body to build muscle at an optimal rate. The following table gives. Speaking of growth, if you’re starting without muscle, you can grow it fast if you’re diligent about eating, exercising, and sleeping. You can gain up to 12-15lbs (6.8kg) of muscle in 3 months when closely.

In the muscles, protein turnover rate occurs approximately every 180 days (6 months). This lends even more support to the observation that the turnover rate limits the natural body (of the non drug-using. How to Build Muscle: Progressive Overload No matter how many sets and reps you do, it’s important to train hard and focus on improving your workout performance over time.

Do the same. Nutrition. The fastest changes aren’t really muscular gains: a pump from a workout, though it may look impressive, is just transient swelling; creatine and high-carb days will help store.

  • Thanks for the video content! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you tried Ponictoria Bewildering Predominance (do a search on google)? It is a great exclusive guide for eliminating your erectile dysfunction minus the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my coo-worker at very last got astronomical success with it.

  • This channel has videos about this content

  • well this is my 4th year of training and I have picked up 11Kg this year soooo i guess I am a bit different oh and yes i am natural

  • Do anybody know about Custokebon Secrets? Does it really work? I hear lots of people burn their weight with this popular lose weight diet plan.

  • Impressive video. Very interesting content. I’d be interested to know if you think you have managed to put on extra muscle now. Its been nearly 3 years since this video. It would be good to see a comparison video and another dexa scan

  • I see lots of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets. But I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you ever try this popular lose weight secrets?

  • I am training legs and abs for about 2 years and upperbody for about a year because of an injury i had at the past.My upperbody is going to grow faster than my other body parts?

  • When you dont take steroids its a lot bloody harder. Sick of sted heads giving advice. You may as well give us the number of your dealer

  • As specialist, I believe Custokebon Secrets is great way to lost tons of fat. Why not give it a chance? perhaps it will work for you too.

  • dude i look alot like you my head shape is same like yours and i notice it you have one eyebrow higher even i do and your shoulders and arms are like mine only difference is that i am younger and have less muscle so i guess that means i have similar genes like your so i can look like you if i work hard:D

  • I’m still waiting for Buff Dudes to come out on SNES. Any timeline on when that project will start, and after that, when it will be completed?

  • I’m scared to do too much of a calorie surplus now:(( what contributes most to body fat gain? Poor Diet? Or too many calories? Could you be training with good nutrition and macros, and still gain a lot of body fat on account of too many calories??

  • Your videos are awesome. I’m very thin and I’ve just started training calisthenics, and your videos and tips are inspiring to me. Keep doing this great job. Congrats.

  • “Despite what you may have heard in the supplement industry or in many muscle magazines…” or from “doctor” Mike Israetel, who never refers to studies, and who has coached “hundreds” of clients but never tells anecdotes from his experience as a coach.

  • Hi, my name is Sean. I am an intermediate/advanced bar brother. I’ve been training for 7-9 months can’t remember exactly when I got serious about it. Probably 7. I’ve gone from 127 to 136 in that time. Most of that weight was gained within the past 4 months. Is that a reasonable amount of weight to be gaining? I feel like it’s not. I eat a ton of the right kinds of foods. Is it also difficult for me to gain weight due to my age. (Just turned 16.)? I hope you take the time to read this. Thanks! @fitnessFAQs

  • This is a great video. Has your supplement choices changed since this video? It would be great to get and updated version of this video.

  • So I’m fucked… stress through roof always, so no sleep. I’m always emotionally shook from work and such, so I counter that by working out, which is probably too much

  • You know what is the best natural way to increase testosterone? That is Tongkat Ali, and wildly grown Tongkat Ali! According to studies ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3669033/) tongkat ali have been increasing testosterone levels even 37% approximately! I am now having this tongkat ali for 1 month already and it have made so big change in my life that I wanna share that with everyone, because that really works! Here in Indonesia is one local project called Borneo Energy which sources only wild grown Tongkat Ali, not the farmed one, and without killing those trees while harvesting it. It is more than recommendable! Website can be found from borneo.energy

  • I don’t know, I just doesn’t seem right to be dumping all those chemical powders into a your body all the time. Not like the normal person can afford all that anyway.

  • How much everyone will gain muscle, is a lot dependent on genetics. Some people look smaller on a big stack of steroids than some do naturally.

  • hey daniel just wanted to ask one quick question.
Do you do any sort of weight training or do you only do bodyweight exercises?
personally i dont really like weight training because then I become too reliant on equipment and when i travel and stuff and am unable to do my normal routine, i dont feel very good. but with body weight exercises i can do them anytime freely without any equipment.
at the moment im doing 3 sets of max diamond pushups, elevated pushups, chinups, pullups, dips, and a few reps of 1 hand pushups. 3 times a week. am i over doing myself? any tips?

  • What is the best way to lost a lot of weight? I read loads of great reviews on the net about how Custokebon Secrets can help you lost lots of fat. Has anyone tried this popular weight loss methods?

  • Chill with buff dudes this videos is from 2013 they know a lot now. But I have one question do people take this shit like for three years? Is like they take whenever they go to the gym but after you reach your goal why people still take it? Also there is a recent video by picturefit where he explains multivitamins are bullshit

  • Hi,
In the video he sais that a calorie surplus is a part of the “receipe” for building muscles, but what if you want to build muscles without getting extra fat? I guess Daniel is still gaining muscles but his bodyfat is still, or a least looks, very low, even with a calorie surplus. Does a calorie surplus involve necessary fat? (Yes I’m quite ignorant about the nutrition haha)
    Thanks

  • Before watching I would say fishoil, protein powder, multivitamins, creatine, arginine and fuckloads of hard working.

Glutamine does not help or bcaa’s, because science. Protein powder and food, does. Both have lots of both.
Zma is good for emptying your wallet, because magnesium should be taken in several small dosages during the day for optimal digestion and zink you get from multivitamins and food. If you have bad skin, like I, just buy zink pills.
Cla helps some but I haven’t seen any results even in 10g/day dosages except diarrhea.

  • @FitnessFAQs i have been doing bodyweight for a year now and iv trieds lots of different programmes im 8% body fat but just not happy with training. I was wondering if you have like a building block for calisthinics? Or guidelines to become more skilled. I was thinking of getting Olympic rings

  • Just out of curiosity: You say in this video that you have been training since 2009 for 6 years but in your “before” picture you still have significant muscle mass. Were you weighttraining before and moved to doing bodyweight/calisthenics for the last 6 years? Or were you naturally fit for sports etc?

I’m just curious because i’ve been weight training for nearly a decade (my gains have staggered because of off and on training and definitely didn’t have my diet right which I KNOW is considered key) and even though I’m very strong for my size I’m nowhere near what you and other advanced calisthenics can do and dammit I wanna be able to do it too LOL…so I’m just trying to draw a basis and see where do I personally start and how long until I see real progress and result so I’m asking a variety of experienced individuals their personal takes to gather insight. Any info or even shamless plugs of “oh this video I made is what you should watch” is appreciated…

  • Fitnessfaqs,

You said you have been in a caloric surplus for more than 6 years to help gain muscle, just curious as to how much of a caloric surplus you recommend or think is necessary to gain muscle?

    5% over surplus? 10%? 15%?

    Much appreciated. Thanks in advance

  • I take 2-3 g of creatine every day. It’s more then enough for me. I see strenght and recovery benefits after a week. Keep in mind that liver produces 1.5 2 g of endogen creatine in adult male. Also you get the creatine from red meat, even though most of it is lost in process of cooking.

  • Hello Daniel,
I am 15 years old and interested in calisthenics, My weight is 187lbs with 25% bodyfat and my height is 5.7feet.
I can easily do 40 pushups in a row but find it hard to do dips and pullups, I can also do handstands.
Should i first lose weight or keep building muscle?
    Please reply folks

  • Guys just hit 10grams of creatine everyday for as long as you want to, no need to cycle. Just make sure to drink a ton of water to keep your kidneys happy.

  • Kudos for the video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you researched Mackorny Sexual Booster Blueprint (probably on Google)? It is an awesome exclusive product for Increasing your Libido minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my old buddy Taylor at very last got amazing success with it.

  • Anyone know what is Custokebon Secrets about? I hear most people lost lots of weight with Custokebon Secrets (look on google search engine).

  • Excellent Video clip! Sorry for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about Franaar Strong Immunity Formula (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good one off product for destroying your erectile dysfunction problem without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate finally got excellent results with it.

  • Does the same go for weight training, that you can’t build more muscle mass after 4 years of training? or it’s just for bodyweight training?

  • Do more daily activities with your left arm like opening doors, picking up stuff, and holding things. The difference between your left arm mass and right arm mass is, to be honest, quite large (but understandable)

  • Is true! I was very heavy and I couldn´t lift myself, I had to lose weight, excelent video!! I´m sorry but I don´t write well in English

  • I agree as long as you do not mean to imply that the physique that you have naturally is typical or average. (To clarify, I am NOT saying that you are not natural, only that the average physique is inherently less muscular.) Thanks.

  • Can you take all of these together? I can’t find anything online about which supplements can be taken together. Someone please help!!

  • Lovely Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried Mackorny Sexual Booster Blueprint (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great one off product for Increasing your Libido minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my close friend Aubrey at last got great results with it.

  • Thank you so much for the information, Daniel. This information is simply worth its weight in gold to me. (And thanks to google translator of course):p

  • interesting points,if anyone else is searching for
    low testosterone men
try Mackorny Increase Testosterone Blueprint (just google it )? Ive heard some super things about it and my cousin got excellent results with it.

  • I see a lot of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets. But I’m not sure if it is good. Have you ever tried this popular fat burn method?

  • Appreciate Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you researched Mackorny Sexual Booster Blueprint (should be on google have a look)? It is a good exclusive product for Increasing your Libido minus the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy finally got cool results with it.

  • Great insight video!
    Genetics also play role though.
For example I do progress in gymnastics and BW training much faster than one of my buddy’s because as he progresses his muscle mass increases much faster than his strength even with just isometrics and strength training so he’s really struggling to get past a tuck planche or a regular pull up.

  • Man I’ve been watching your videos for a couple years and your progression is inspirational. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the hard work

  • Glutamine is only good for digestion that’s it. It’s not a bad supplement it doesn’t promote muscle building.
CLA has no evidence that it’s effective fat burner
BCAA’s also don’t build muscle it fails you get BCAA’s from meat, fish, dairy and it’s in your Protein Powders. Only Vegans take BCAA’s from not eating meat, fish, and dairy.

  • Does Custokebon Secrets (do a google search) help me lost lots of weight? I see a lot of people keep on speaking about this popular lose weight methods.

  • Appreciate Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you ever tried Franaar Strong Immunity Formula (google it)? It is a smashing one off guide for destroying your erectile dysfunction problem without the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend at last got amazing results with it.

  • Nice video content! Forgive me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried Mackorny Sexual Booster Blueprint (do a google search)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for Increasing your Libido minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate after many years got great results with it.

  • This is just superb, I’ve been looking for “natural ways to get testosterone” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about Fonliver Qeyadelyn Trick (do a google search )? Ive heard some great things about it and my work buddy got excellent success with it.

  • What if you train first 2 years regularly but undereating and not gaining much muscle and then start eating with proper caloric surplus? Will it start at highest/beginner growth or is it 2 years of good growth wasted?

  • Just trying to fact check my teacher but I was told that multivitamins aren’t shit. They’re supposedly so dense with vitamins that you piss them all out when you take it

  • What do you think of lost tons of weight using Custokebon Secrets? I notice a lot of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets.

  • Those figures are bullshit. I have exceeded those figures naturally. No offense, you are just making a video on the topic, but it’s so stupid for people to try to come up with shit like this.

  • This is glorious, I have been researching “boost low testosterone levels naturally” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about Fonliver Qeyadelyn Trick (do a google search )? Ive heard some great things about it and my neighbour got amazing success with it.

  • You should really consider remaking this video, because this is one of the most important videos on the channel, and the audio is disappointing.

  • Brandon is so much better at this stuff now, lol lots of long pauses where they shouldn’t be and silly sounding recoveries, but it’s awesome to see how much you guys have improved

  • Great video! Could you recommend a consistent set of scales available in Ausralia? They scales at my gym are terribly inconsistent and give different readings ( +/2kg sometimes) depending on how I position my feet. Thanks

  • I’m not sure but,if anyone else wants to learn about
    testosterone home test
try Mackorny Increase Testosterone Blueprint (do a search on google )? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend got amazing results with it.

  • This video has good information, but I’m not sure about the best diet plan which i should use, only because I have never taken any. Anybody tried using the Custokebon Secrets? I have heard some folks mention extraordinary things about Custokebon Secrets.

  • Has anyone used the Custokebon Secrets to lost crazy amounts of fat? Just simply do a google search. On there you will discover an awesome tips about how exactly you can lost crazy amounts of fat. Why don’t you give it a chance? perhaps it’s going to work for you too.

  • You dont need BCAAs. It is a scam by the supplement industry. See Shredded Sports Science’s video. Most likely your diet already gets enough BCAAs, and supplementing to increase that doesnt do anything.

  • You can easily tell that a supplement works or not. If you can still buy it, it doesn’t work.

Remember, there’s no magic pill, only, magic syringes.

  • Has anyone tried Custokebon Secrets? (do a search on google) I have heard several amazing things about this popular lose weight methods.

  • Hi guys I will recommend  the following pre-workout supplement it is
really good. I try many and this one really works  here you go if you want to try  https://amzn.to/2O0QX0s

  • Awesome! You got a great physique also, so this channel is really professional I mut say, very usefull to see a guy achieving such a hard to maintain strong physique with low bodyfat, definitely natural achievements so yes very pro and useful, keep it up.

  • What a bunch of bullshit. Want pre workout? Black coffee. Post workout? Milk. Just work hard. Be consistent and lift heavy. The muscle will follow. Wonder what company these guys are schilling for……

  • Buff dudes videos are just so fucking funny. Even as old as this video is they thought ZMA was the shit it’s BS. They thought creatine was the shit BS pre workout does more than fucking creatine. Multivitamin they thought multivitamin was good another BS supplement you’ll literally no kidding piss down the drain using the bathroom. BCAAS are nothing more than water flavor enhancer’s and supplement companys put bcaas in protein powder to cut cost. CLA doesn’t burn fat like everyone thought BS supplement omg glutamine BS supplement it does nothing. Buff dudes even when this video came out they were still so far behind the supplements that really work. They were still trying to tell people all this shit is essential and works BS. Even back then way better supps to spend money on then this garbage.

  • make sure the creatine is of Creapure as its the best and the safest with many studies done over it.5mg is enough over…dont forget these are supplements only there to supplement your diet, not the diet itself…..dont overdose…stay safe

  • When it comes to eating healthy, you have to try not to fall victim to modern day fad diet plans. Extreme diets undoubtedly are a threat for your health, especially ones that seriously limit your daily nutritionary intake. While they may generate fast weight loss, these diets will never be a long-term solution for your weight problem. It is best to look up Custokebon Secrets on google since it is not just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • Okay do you know what idc how long it takes to have supermans body just as long as I do by the time im 30:P before than for me its all a matter of stress relief and or anger management.. I just wanna discipline myself damnit idc about the visual results right now just show me the workouts and stretches I need to do what to eat and what not to eat and ill do it..

  • With creatine they’re is no need to cycle loading. I would take 10g of creatine for a few days to let it kick in, then reduce to 8g, and 5g on maintenance days. I also prefer creatine monohydrate as it is the most researched creatine molecule. If you prefer a more water soluble form of creatine then you can choose the alternative creatine nitrate, citrate, or hydrochloric.

  • If your Glutamine, BCAA, and Creatine are all in powder form, can you combine into one shake? Can I take the creatine and Glut together pre and post workout? and then drink the BCAA’s during the workout? What about mixing with a protein shake?

  • Wow this video is really outdated. Cant you make a new one? We now know that you dont have to circle creatine and that bcaa is not necessary if you are not cutting. Make a new up to date video!! Use picturefits channel for correct information about suppliments.

  • Awesome physique, awesome body weight training skills and strength, great advice but the sound quality is SHIT. Get yourself a proper mic dude, may cost 300-500 bucks but as your channel grows you also have to improve the quality of your vids.

  • Just wonderful, been searching for “build muscle quickly naturally” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of Lilyhen Strength Sabrmetrics (do a search on google )? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.

  • nat·u·ral
    1. existing in or caused by nature; not made or caused by humankind.
Wish these people would learn their own language before they try to use it as an educational tool. Supplement is an extra by definition. It did not happen in nature. Not natural.

  • I’ve used CLA manny times before
Unfortunately it didn’t do anything for me at all ☹️ creatine monohydrate quit working a long time ago.

  • “we all need some red meat in our diet”
    …and, you lost me.
Get up to speed. Go check Dr. Michael Greger’s work, for example.

(oh, and on a more emotional note: I am plant based for seven years. Go stick you “we all NEED meat“ up your b-hole. My father died because of “health experts” like you)

  • also try taking creatine and glutamine with a carbonated beverage like Sprite or Coke. the carbonation reduces stomach acid and allows more creatine and glutamine to get into the intestine. I prefer Mexican Coke pre workout because it has natural sugar not corn based sweetner.
I use Sprite post workout. also don’t put creatine and glutamine into the bottle!!!! volcanic eruptions lol!

  • I heard a guy in the gym saying to other guys “creatine is a steroid if you use that you’re no longer natural” I said to myself what in the world are you saying man. I wanted to contradict but I did’nt bother cuz he squats 405 (ass to grass) and he is 56 years old and I’m 32 and squat a little less than him so they will probably believe him more than me lol.

  • what if youre a transguy like me and you havent gone on hrt yet,how can i ditch my estrogen and naturally boost my testosterone thank and bless

  • If i take all that all im gona get is a bad stomach,2g creatin before workout and a whey protein shake after thats all I use however I use only the top quality more cost stuff and it works just fine for a hobby lifter. If I was to take it next level like to make a living from working out and competing in bodybuilding or model stuff then yea I would probably get every supplement there is that can get me there faster.

  • BCAA’s and glutamine are useless, the only purpose is to empty your wallet. It’s like selling you pills of water and say that this will help refresh you and prevent dehydration, without it you can’t live. While it might be true, it’s pointless in pill form. If you have a well balanced diet, you will be getting all the glutamine and branched chain amino acids you need. Glutamate/glutamine, and the bcaas are essential amino acids, it’s true, but you get them from food, there is no reason to buy them in pills.

And yes, I got that from picture fit. It’s just true. The only worthy supplements are creatine and whey.

  • I know this might be a stupid question but can I or should I take all of them on daily basis or its just one of those that i should be drinking? (sorry for my english)
