I’m in a difficult situation: I’ve had a medial meniscus injury (bucket handle tear) and because of the COVID-19 outbreak, my surgery has been postponed twice. already. • Sometimes my arm and hand feels like it wants to tear off or like put pressure on plz help idk what to do with it it happened often and last for about 20 mins

  • Thanks for the great video. You’ll add credibility if you pronounce eccentric less eccentrically. lol. The work Eeeeee-centric does not exist anywhere in the English language and cannot be found in any English dictionary. The fitness community is rife with this mispronunciation. Only reason I can think of is that it’s b/c ppl think it means ‘crazy’. It actually means ‘away from the center’. Ec=Away, Centric=Center. It refers to the tendons moving away from the muscle’s center (i.e., the muscle belly). Crazy ppl are also ‘away from the center’; hence the usage in this context.

  • Nice video content! Apologies for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you heard the talk about Dinanlinson Rocky Position Approach (search on google)? It is a great one of a kind guide for learning how to fix chronic knee pain minus the headache. • Hi Jeremy. First, thank you for generously sharing your knowledge with us. I’d like to ask why do you suggest to hold stretches for 10 seconds, I was taught that the brain does not recognize your doing a stretch until after 15 seconds, but I might be wrong. Could you help, please. Thank you again. Your new subscriber ❤️

  • And what I can do when my neck is not capable full motion? (Multiple bone fusion with fake ribs). I think lot of these movements, especially with heavy weight would be dangerous for me… But strenghten my neck coudh be benificial for the same reasons.

  • I have disintegrating disc`s in my back, & and allot of neck pain. Arthritis is also an issue I have. Iuse this arthritis treatment solution “Rοngοdο Ruzο” (Google it) on my neck, back and sides of my body, and also the pain disappears. This helps me do my everyday work without disruptions. It will also help if you eat foods that don`t cause irritation..

  • I recently thought about neck exercising with weights cause in my 19’s I got a whiplash and since then I’ve had neck tensions in my neck and eventually visited Chiros and they did help, however now at almost 70 I started to have radiating upper arm pains and seeing a good Chiro was able to help, but Chiros told me throughout the years (of course) that my problem was treatable, but due to my curved in the wrong direction neck I needed to treat it several times a year, then I thoughtuhm? How about neck weight exercising to gain that curvature needed back in my neck, so I’ll try the neck weight training method. I’ve always done pushups and at my age I can do from 85-90 continuous push-ups and my arms don’t hurt, so I said the heck with it I’m going to try neck weight exercises cause as my Chiro told me to stretch my neck backwards with a round type pillow and I started to feel like 8% better, but now it all makes sense, thanks for the video and I’ll try lifting a 20-30 pound weight with my neck laying down and I’ll let you know how it helps if any.

  • My right shoulder was in pain all day

  • I can’t walk in flat shoes I wore Huggies and flat dolly shoes for a year, now if I wear flats my knee buckles, any advise would be appreciated as it is hard work tottering round the house high heels

  • I was born with cleft foot and my left foot is more weaker than the other…it is very hard to keep both of my calves the same muscle mass

  • The exercise does seem handy for my upper traps, which can hurt after exercises but fixing posture? Look how big apes sit, they never need to “fix their posture”. Rule of thumb: don’t sit too long in one position.

  • I don’t have enough words to thank you doctor
I have had this shoulder pain for more than 6 months and nothing worked
But it has been only two days doing these simple stretches and I am developing the confidence that this pain is gonna end soon
    Thanks a lot doctor

  • Hi, i am 29 years and I train (weightlifting) for almost 13 years. Since 1,5 years I started to feel pain in one of mij shoulders (joint pain) and since a few months my other shoulder is the same, during training I can’t do a lot of exercises I used to do, I feel pain and also the feeling that mij bones come together and make really bad noise. Also just moving around I feel bones come together and cracked noise and feeling like I can’t move my shoulders any further. I have the same feeling with my right knee a few years but the last moths it is getter worser. (Pain, and cracked noises)
Do you have experience with this sort of problem? It is like joint wear or arthrosis?

  • This is the first video of yours I’ve seen and it was exactly what I needed. I feel so much looser! Definitely going to subscribe so I can learn more!

  • Great job. Your timing and length of explaining each exercise was great for me who has add. I will incorporate this routine. Thanks

  • I will make my knee normal like before. I will prove my doctor that he said it will be lifetime pain if exercise is stopped. But I will make it work 100% work later without doing any exercise in future. I challenge my doctore. Exercise and believe of mine will cure it.

  • This is a great well explained video, i will implement this on my days… i already have this bad posture of years working on pc, do you have any other tips?

  • This is a scam, you cannot get good posture (let alone perfect posture) with 10 minutes a day. Good posture is a result of your musculoskeletal system being as originally designed. Meaning all your muscles need to be both strong and flexible. By working out each muscle in whole your body and also lengthening them by stretching.

Obviously this cannot be done in 10 minutes a day. Furthermore, the amount of training and stretching each muscle need is different per person and dependent on what other activities you do or dont do. So there is no one size fits all solution, let alone in 10 minutes.

Posture is a very big problem for alot of people and basically a result of not maintaining your body. This cannot be fixed with a quick and easy solution. Just try this “method” and see for yourself, it won’t do anything except get this video views.

  • Another good thing to remember: like all muscles, you wont get anywhere unless you can flex the muscle you are trying to work and grow. Taking control of a muscle through stretching, and exercise is great, but one must always be able to use that muscle at a moments notice to make it worthwhile. Good vid.

  • Jeremy, I have had life long issues with my shoulders and upper back, and it seems “professionals” only addressed the symptoms with each visit. Within two days of trying these exercises (morning and evening), I already see and feel the difference in my posture and mobility. Thank you for providing this content. It feels like a blessing. New subscriber and fan here, even though I hate exercise (disclaimer).

  • i’lll do this exercise daily till school starts back up again. ill do weekly updates

week 1: i think my back has slightly improved according to my siblings

week 3/4: I didnt update sorry but i have been doing this with the forward head posture one and its working yall!

  • i dont know if its just me but after doing the band over the back i had shoulder pain and after further research i think its because of a shoulder impingement which is really common.
so i dont think this exercise is for everyone

  • Thank you very much. I got immediately relief pain of hand. Need more tips on it.I am siting for long time on engineering diagram work. Please suggest personally…

  • Excellent video! very effective, I was having sore muscles in my shoulder and neck area due to workout from yesterday but thanks to these stretch I am able to recover immediately and feel relieved

  • Thanks very much for this. I have peripheral neuropathy and not MS (or diabetes) but there is muscle wastage low down, a bit like an upside-down champagne bottle to look at and I think this will be helpful. Thanks again!

  • JeremyI can hardly lift a hockey stick above my head. Is that just bad mobility or is there something else that might be the problem? I see you go all the way behind your back.

  • I would add that contracting the glutes helps getting your back flat and it gives a better contraction of the mid back. When you are weak, you tend to overarch the back to help you pull the band.

Son: go away mom, it’s neck day.

Mom: why r u doing this?

    Son: noooooo. Reeeeeeaaaaassssson

  • Just found this video, definitely going to start tomorrow (It’s very late at night right now for me)
I’ve essentially been sitting my whole life, never really ran around and played as a child, never have done sports, was homeschooled so I didn’t even need to walk between classes. I don’t have any mobility issues, but spending essentially my whole life in a sitting position means my shoulders are incredibly weak and my hip flexibility is so minimal that my hip flexors and hamstrings can get hurt very easily just by pretty regular movements that go outside of my usual routine (even just bending over to pick something up can be a challenge, and yes I am positive that it’s just extremely bad posture and not a true medical problem, no worries). I know I don’t look great either although I’m less worried about that and more worried about developing genuine mobility issues when I’m older
I’m going to start very slow and gentle to make sure I don’t hurt myself, but if anyone’s interested in my progress I can update every couple weeks or something!

  • I have another group of people who can benefit from neck training that you can add to the list:

    Thick bois in the military.

IDK about all branches but, I’m trying to go back into the Army and I do not meet the height/weight requirements. So, they take a measurement around the neck at the Adam’s Apple, and another around the belly at the button.

There’s a goofy calculation that they use to come up with BMI based on those numbers.

I’m 5’9 and 210 with a 16″ pencil neck and about a 39″ gut. I’m sitting at 30% body fat by the aforementioned calculation. I need to get to 24% so I’m going to try neck training. Again.

    Notes for anybody reading:
Yes, I know the math is stupid.
No, IDK why they do it that way.
    Yes, there are better ways.
No, I can’t tell anybody to change anything.
    It is what it is.
I’m tired of these conversations lol
    Military Intelligence is an oxymoron

  • I went to your website and started the getting started questions but the goals were around fat loss or muscle building. Do you have a program built around posture beyond what you show here? Also, do you have an app where I can be guided through these and track my progress?

  • I’ve been struggling with upper-crossed syndrome forever now and found myself with a strange urge almost like I want to grab my shoulder blades and flip them open and just wring out the muscle underneath, but could never get a good stretch on them. I found myself doing the chest stretcher behind-the-back thing with hands and constantly reaching upward with my arms and laying against walls to try to hit the spot. It only did a little.
Just found your video and I’m excited, I can feel the stretch under my shoulder blades very much, like a huge weight/itch relieved temporarily. Maybe placebo, but I even feel like I can breathe a little deeper/clearer.
I’ll keep working on these muscles.
    Thank you.

  • I have had so much pain in past many years and tried anything like watching other videos on the Youtube, visited several Chiropractors (which is worse than visiting a used car salesman) and gotten massage therapy. This video by far has been most helpful. Starting at minute 5 of this video and doing these exercises has helped tremendously in pain reduction. God bless you.

Takes a serious commitment, and you need to be able to safely recover when you fall off! I do mine on grass, a few inches above the ground.

She’s not a fan of pencil necks, though, either, but likes a classic swimmers’ build.

  • You are a blessing
I have suffered with shoulder pain due to rotator cuff strain for about 2 months and while I was doing some stretches and exercises I did not feel like I was doing all the right exercises and stretches. Your videos have helped me with this tremendously. Many thanks to you

  • If you have a stiff, tight or painful hip then Unflexal will unlock your hip flexors and restore movement the way it should be. Unlocking your hip flexors instantly breathes new life, energy, and strength into your body! I experienced immediate results. I’ve been able to loosen up my hips, decrease back tightness, and even workout harder. With so many people suffering with hip pain out there, this program is a great tool for anybody that wants to reduce pain while improving strength, performance, and overall health. Hip flexibility, mobility and strength is one of the most important things you can do to keep your overall body healthy. The video presentation and visuals in the exercise program give me confidence that I am doing the exercises correctly which for me is key with no personal trainer. The website is very complete in listing the possible causes of tight hip flexors and other factors that can lead to the issue. It has detailed, descriptive information regarding the anatomy of the hip, causes of such injuries, and a very progressive and well explained exercise and stretching schedule that will assist to re-balance the hip and pelvic region, safely stretch and strengthen the muscle group. Best of luck to you!:)

  • My rotators cuff pain was distracting me quite a bit today due to the weights I pulled but these exercises helped me to deal with them. Thanks a lot (ʘᴗʘ).

  • Hi, I got my rotator cuff damaged when I was doing the arms around exercise. Can you post something on how to recover from that injury and how to keep working on straight back before I recover? Thanks!

  • Disclaimer: I did not achieve this physique by doing these exercises alone. This video is just a demo for those who want to activate/strengthen their Chest at home without gym equipment.
Are these exercises still useful? For beginners, absolutely yes! However, speaking about Muscle Hypertrophy, imo it is still no where close to training with real weights.

  • I don’t think you’re posturing your neck properly, the technique you’re using will impact the lower neck and thoracic spine, negatively affecting facial aesthetics. The back of your neck should be as straight as possible with the chin tucked when doing any reps.

  • Thank you for your videos & encouraging disposition. I have been sharing your videos with several. people. Not hard given how often someone shares an ache or pain

  • Hello, I have a question about my calf growth if anyone can help me. I was born with clubbed feet which meant my feet came out backwards when I was born. When I was 1 years old I had surgery on both feet to get them the normal way around. I never had a problem after that but because of this I was left with extremely skinny calves and ankles, not proportionate to my upper legs or body. I have muscular upper legs and arms etc but my calves and ankles were extremely skinny. I had calf implant surgery almost a year ago and it did improve my calves a lot but my ankles and calves are still quite skinny compared to the rest of my body. I’m hoping that maybe workouts might improve this but I’m wondering if anyone knows if it’s even possible for me to gain much muscle there since I have implants and my normal calves and ankles are naturally extremely skinny looking. Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks.

Will these leg muscles develop my ankles so I can achieve balance and at the same time develop my shin muscles. I get shin splints when I walk too fast or jog. The pain of shin splints always sets me back. Will doing these exercises develop also calf muscles? I am not trying get bulky but to have slightly larger legs and stronger ankles. Please advise. When I raise my arms like yours and you say “try to not tension the trapezius“, my won`t go that further without tensioning it, it`s just IMPOSSIBLE, i don`t have much rounded shoulders like the picture but I wanna fix this. Should I keep doing this like everyday only till my limitations of motion? Because for me to pass that, i have to tension
