Jacked Like a Superhero Workout. Now that we’ve covered the diet portion, it’s time to jump into the workout. This is a 12-week workout that contains three phases — a strength phase, a volume phase, and a high rep stage. Stage one will last for four weeks and is going to focus on getting.

Cavill laid out his workout for Men’s Journal, using explosive step ups, kettlebell exercises, power cleans, rows, squats, ring dips, chinups and much more to get “super” jacked. Lie back on the bench with your head hanging off, holding the dumbbells with your hands parallel to each other. Press the dumbbells straight up and hold them in position. Bend your elbows to lower the weights down past your head, so your arms are in line with your head and the dumbbells are. Superhero Jacked I’m Mike Romaine.

  • Loved the video man! Can you please do more of these sort of traing videos, maybe you can do like Ryan Renalds deadpool workout?

  • Dude all these exercise are show in all jason workout videos what the point of creating this video seriously man we are expecting great content from u

  • Great video inspired by Jason Momoa, but Jason Momoa does the AR7 workout (7 sets of 7 reps, 6 sets of 6 reps, 5sets of 5 reps) this fast pace circuit with under 10 second breaks helps keep him engaged even though he doesn’t like the gym.

    Great job pick the exercises!

  • Sorry to tell you buddy but Jason Momoa is for sure a mesomorph and you are an ectomorph. He definitely out weighs you by a good amount.

  • Hey Brett, can you make a content about style breakdown. I really wanted to see how you will react to Cristiano Ronaldo, Conor McGregor & other famous people out there about their style fashion.

  • Im 135 lbs and 6ft1, ive never trained too seriously at a gym before but want to work towards a bulking physique, any advice for starting out, (i have a messed up elbow so im going to avoid exercises with hyper extensions)?

  • Hi Brett! I’m your new viewer here. I wanna ask something, can u tell me how to lose bellyfat by workout? If there any videos of you that showed about that workout, give me the link please. Thank you!

  • I’ve read the Henry Cavill did the whole routine in one visit.
I’m not sure if i would be able to go to the gym twice a day.
I’ll try to do it in one go! Great video!

  • First of all, you say he doesn’t have a lot of shoulders going on but he clearly does. They aren’t bodybuilding shoulders but still impressive. Second, you should be aware that most of his workouts consisted of rock wall climbing. Weight routines were secondary. He talks about this in several videos, you don’t need to guess what his workout is.

  • Bruh, I think you should sign up for DC superhero/villain role. Maybe Maxwell Lord, Hal Jordan, or (I think this would be really cool) Roy Harper. Arsenal or Speedy.

  • I have aquamans Long messy hair look plus blue eyes never new about the look till I was told it I’m definitely going to give this a go this weekend I’m pumped to shred it \m/

  • Hi, I really like your videos! I just want to know how to manage weights with this routine and with what weight should I start and how to increase? Also, for how long you recommend this routine? Thank you so much for making these routines for us! I respect your work

  • Can you do a workouts video on lower back? This is so random but i was playing hockey a while back and i have no idea what i did aside mabye something to do with posture but my lower back was sore and i havent found anything to replicate that since so if you could id really appreciate it

  • Awesome I would like to see Ben Affleck’s Batman workout like Jason he never really gave alot of detail of what he did I read alot of interviews with his trainner but cant get alot out if it

  • Hey, I’ve notice me and Jason momoa have the same upper body only I’ve not taken care of it, I wanna give this a try so my question is these reps how many rounds do I have to do? In one day, and you said once a week can I do 2 x a week Monday and Friday?

  • I’m actually do this workout and I thank you for making this, I’ve been doing this one for almost three weeks and gains are slowly getting there. Again thank you Superhero Academy

  • Without watching the video I’ll answer the site of the video. Performance enhancing substances. All Hollywood actors are given the top of the line stuff, they have doctors that take blood test and pretty much they can gain muscle really quickly for a movie. Obvi, training and nutrition, but they’re not killing themselves as if they were natural.

  • “We don’t want to burn a tone of fat so we are resting 30-45 seconds” Hahahaha! Thats brilliant…oh WHAT?! Thats not a joke? If you think you can burn fat from just working out with less rest periods you don’t understand energy balance and the body BASIC physiology.

  • whats wrong with your frame bud. your blessed in almost every way but one side looks alot narrower even tho none is rly broad for the amount of muscle u got allrdy. i mean the clavicle lenght

  • Bro i am 13 years and i weigh about 180 pounds and my height is 167 cm. I know its a lot. What diet should i take to achieve it. Please reply me

  • Its funny I fell into a noob trap like this when I started lifting, I wanted the Zyzz body so I thought i obviously had to do the same program he does but nope nothing happened. Because when u start lifting u have to go on a beginner full body routine to gain mass and the ”Zyzz program” was for him, and he was a steroid guy who lifted for years. U wont get the same physique as someone by copying their program. Everyone has different genetics

  • This video was really cool, doing workouts based off of certain popular celebs or actors that are in big movies is a great idea, you’ll catch a lot of viewers

  • With Jason’s hybrid push-ups/rows, he is walking it forward with each rep. >>> One edge you have over Momoa is that you are not covered with tattoos.  Keep it that way. >>> Are you chewing while working out?

  • Kratos analysis
He has huge traps n his upper back is swole n he also hav some lats, extremely developed side n rear delt n also super thick arms
His chest is super shredded along with his abs and obliques
N his legs r also good
Make sure under 10 or 12 body fat to look like him

So if u want to bulit a physique like him make sure u do
Deadlifts, weighted pull ups and heavy shurgs, rear delt flyes
Behind the back ohp, cable lateral raises, face pulls, shurgs
Typical bro arm workout n also some forearm work
    Incline bench press,incline fyies
    Weighted dip,cable crossover
Squats, stiff leg deadlifts or sumo deadlifts, leg curls superset with ham curls, calf raises n sprint’s

  • Can you do Brad Pitt workout for Troy? Haven’t seen any videos on this and his body looks so good, not as shredded as fight club, but definitely more mass

  • Hi guys! Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man workout guy starting this routine. Quick question, should there be rest days in between each day? I really liked the Tom Holland one because it broke down what to do on what day! Thanks guys

  • Bro, you seem pretty ignorant about the pushup/DB row. It’s barely a chest/back exercise. It’s first and foremost a CORE exercise with anti-rotation component to it. Barely any real lat work at all.

  • You forgot the part where he deprived his body of water to get better muscle definition many people arent aware but the men in superhero movies are often made to nearly die of thirst for their roles seriously it is to the point that men faint on set from dehydration just so that we can get wet looking at captain America holding a helicopter to a building

  • no hate on jason hes a very good looking bloke but he doesnt look like aquaman You would play a good aquaman Brett. However Jason would do formidable as Poseidon

  • Thank you all for the support! Videos go up every Monday(men workout routine), Wednesday (food challenge) and Saturday(female workout routine)!

  • One thing I would say for everyone, gotta remember abs are made in the kitchen. It does not matter how many ab exercises you do, if you eat like shit then you’ll always have too much fat on your stomach covering the abs.

  • Brett you are soooo good looking that every time I watch your video as inspiration and motivation I end up feeling bad about myself, your looks man…u r blessed

  • Most of the time Hollywood actors r on the juice to get ready for a role. When there’s millions of dollars involved anything goes. So if ur a natural lifter don’t expect the same results.

  • I found this workout on your website, I’m trying to figure out the weight I should use for these workouts? Like, how much weight do I use?

  • when hes on a date what is the conversation like
so how do i look? you want to know how many reps can do?
dose he get upset if the girl looks better than him or if the waiter is hotter than him

  • I tried this routine these past two weeks and like it, but I feel like I’m losing mass. For the past 6 months I’ve been doing the Jeremy Renner routine and feel that routine gives me more mass, mostly in my arms so I feel like I’m doing something wrong with this routine

  • Great video. I like how descriptive it is. It helps. Starting Monday. This is 5 days? Also where do abs fit into this? I’ll be starting slow because I’m also dieting and I don’t know if I will have the calories and protein to properly feed everything. I’ll have to figure that out. Lastly, I’ve been challenging myself to do 75 pushups a day for 30 days. Still about 25 days left. Will this mess up the routine?

  • Hey Mike and Brandon, I’m 6ft tall 179, about 19% body fat looking to get shredded. I tend to pack on more size (endomorph). Which celeb routine is best for me?

  • For your slow incline walk what level of incline is suggested, I currently walk about 2.5 km at a brisk pace then do a 5min jog (treadmill) at a 2.5 incline for my warm up, is that sufficient or should I change the jog for the incline walk.

  • I love this workout I started last week shoulders are still burning, why both types of shrugs tho? Do they do something different.

  • Is the article the for real Chris Evans workout? Is it what Chris Evans did to look like how he did in the movies and everything or did you guys come up with it and make the routine?

  • How long have you guys been lifting? Have either of you ever competed in any strength or physique sports? Also, love your website!
