These Pelvic Floor Exercises are some of my favorites. Since the pelvic floor muscles are small, it doesn’t take a lot of movement to work them, so it’s best to start with a little and slowly work up. Watch more pelvic exercises here: https://youtu.be/iZdJZjScmCc. The pelvic floor is a group of small muscles along the floor of the pelvis. They help support organs in the pelvis and help with stability in the hip area.. The first exercise is going to be a pelvic tilt. When done correctly, you are not using your legs to tilt at the pelvis, just your pelvic muscles.. Then you can progress to doing pelvic clocks. It’s just like it sounds by imagining you have a clock on your tummy. Then you can tilt at different angles of the clock.\r.
The next exercise is a progressive movement, so you can start with each movement at a time. Place a ball in between your knees. Go into a pelvic tilt and squeeze the ball. If those are easy, then lift your feet to where your hips and knees are at about a 90-degree angle. Then if that’s easy, you can place your hands on the front of your thighs to also activate your hip flexors by pushing into your hands. Try to keep your tilt the whole time..
The last two exercises focus on the obturator internus muscle. It also attaches to the femur bone to help with stability. So it’s a great general hip exercise as well. Place the ball in between your knees again, and while you squeeze into the ball, push your feet outward without moving them with an isometric squeeze.\r.
Finally, wrap a belt or strap around your ankles, and roll onto your stomach. Bend your knees so your feet are up toward the ceiling. Push out into the belt like you are pushing your feet away from each other, and at the same time tighten your core by tucking your tailbone in.. Related Videos:\r.

I’m a single mum so my day times are so busy, but I’ve found that I can work out late at night before bed without it upsetting my sleep, and it means I don’t raise my cortisol levels in the day when things can already be pretty stressful… So it works for me, but is this OK for my body? given we want “the correct answer” we can presume only one is correct. Starting at the bottom it cannot be 6 as 6 implies 1-4 not true so 5 is also true, contradicting 6. I like work out early in the morning. It makes me fresh. But these days are so hot & somehow I workout after my airco working at night. So my workout is comfy enough. Sleep is not a problem. I work out at 6AM or before midnight or even 1AM before sleep

If you’re down to 2, look for the answer with the most qualifiers and quibbles. No loopholes. So I started with (5). Which worked well.

Now that I’ve seen this video I realize how bad I was doing my workouts. Before classes I used to wake up in the morning and work out, I lost five kinds in two weeks only doing one of clones videos (the full body work out part of the 2 week programa) but as class started I switched to night, and instead of losing weight I began to gain a little bit of weight. I realized that in the morning, I tend to do more healthy choices. Can’t wait for my summer classes to en to switch back to morning work out sessions

I can’t even look at my phone if it rings in the car, otherwise i will get nausea and even vomit. I tried the balance and inner ear exercises, but it didn’t work. I have been to probably 8 different pelvic floor specialists, and your exercises are better than all of them. Unfortunately, too many are only into trigger point release, internal work, and breathing exercises and none of that works! Thank you so much for these strength training exercises. Just did them with you and already feeling good. Exercise brings blood flow to weaken muscles!:)
I’m glad that Chloe didn’t just shit on people who don’t workout in the morning. If the only time to workout was in the morning, I would never do it. Right after work is my optimal time. I feel like the worst time to workout is not at all.

For the exercise where you have the ball and you’re pushing your feet out on the floor…. Is it ok if you slightly lift your hips up? I have a hard time telling if I’m pushing out on my feet and I feel like when I lift my hip slightly it allows more weight on the feet which makes it easier to do the push-out.?? Thank you very much.

It seems to me that the question itself is poorly worded. The question asks which choice is the “correct” choice, not which one is true. False can indeed be a correct answer to a question: if it wasn’t, then true/false questions would be worthless (of course, this might also just be true). So really, figuring out which answers are true or false doesn’t really help you answer the question. The question doesn’t really posit anything, so the real answer, IMO, is “there isn’t enough information.”
I’m on my 3rd challenge. I do most of my workouts at night and I’ve noticed massive improvements in my sleep since I started. I used to get about 5 hours, now I get 6-7 and a half hours. And my fitbit sleep scores have shot up from mid 50s and a poor to fair rating to around 80-85 and a score of good. I have so much stress in my life. I feel more relaxed after a workout so I guess that helps me sleep better.

I had a vertical abdominal cut for surgery to remove a giant tumor over 15 years ago. I work out a lot but right side of my abdominals have always been weak and tight in groin area. After just doing the first 3 exercises just once my groin is no longer tight and I can feel my pelvis and hip are aligned again. I went to a PT for awhile but could never fix this. THANKS DR JO!!!!!

I just wished she would have adapted this to a normal workday. I work from 8am to 5pm and have to do chores (shopping/cleaning/etc) after that so none of those tips really helped. I had a partial hysterectomy (Uterus, fallopian tubes and cervix) in September 2019. I’m feeling spasms where my Uterus used to be. They’re not painful but they’re frequent. I do sometimes have pain in the area, but not while the spasms happen. I’m thinking my pelvic floor is weak. The spasms are worrying me.

The other thing is it often means I’m hungry after any tips for hunger pangs late at night after a work out? As I go to bed maybe an hour after I finish so probably not good for digestion to have anything at that point? Any tips would be amaze x

I like work out early in the morning. It makes me fresh. But these days are so hot & somehow I workout after my airco working at night. So my workout is comfy enough. Sleep is not a problem. I work out at 6AM or before midnight or even 1AM before sleep

Now that I’ve seen this video I realize how bad I was doing my workouts. Before classes I used to wake up in the morning and work out, I lost five kinds in two weeks only doing one of clones videos (the full body work out part of the 2 week programa) but as class started I switched to night, and instead of losing weight I began to gain a little bit of weight.
I realized that in the morning, I tend to do more healthy choices. Can’t wait for my summer classes to en to switch back to morning work out sessions

I can’t even look at my phone if it rings in the car, otherwise i will get nausea and even vomit. I tried the balance and inner ear exercises, but it didn’t work. Unfortunately, too many are only into trigger point release, internal work, and breathing exercises and none of that works! Thank you so much for these strength training exercises. Just did them with you and already feeling good. Exercise brings blood flow to weaken muscles!:)

For the exercise where you have the ball and you’re pushing your feet out on the floor…. Is it ok if you slightly lift your hips up? I have a hard time telling if I’m pushing out on my feet and I feel like when I lift my hip slightly it allows more weight on the feet which makes it easier to do the push-out.?? Thank you very much.

It seems to me that the question itself is poorly worded. The question asks which choice is the “correct” choice, not which one is true. False can indeed be a correct answer to a question: if it wasn’t, then true/false questions would be worthless (of course, this might also just be true). So really, figuring out which answers are true or false doesn’t really help you answer the question. The question doesn’t really posit anything, so the real answer, IMO, is “there isn’t enough information.”
I’m on my 3rd challenge. I do most of my workouts at night and I’ve noticed massive improvements in my sleep since I started. I used to get about 5 hours, now I get 6-7 and a half hours. And my fitbit sleep scores have shot up from mid 50s and a poor to fair rating to around 80-85 and a score of good. I have so much stress in my life. I feel more relaxed after a workout so I guess that helps me sleep better.
