  • You should enjoy and be happy about what you eat. That doesn’t mean eat junk foods everyday, but there’s nothing wrong with flavor.

  • The problem is unlike Arnold and professional bodybuilders no one can work out five hours a day and no one has that kind of time at their disposal and they are working full-time jobs are taking care of their family and their wife. You really don’t have a choice you have to do the newer strategies to cut in bulk and work out three4 times a week 45 minutes tops a day. I’m just being realistic no one has five hours a day to put into a gym unless you are a personal trainer and that literally is your job full-time.Therefore supersets have become a thing of the past because they do require tons of reps and tons of different exercises which takes hours in the gym every day. This works great if you were training for the Olympics or national or international competitions but for 99% of the people out there this isn’t very helpful.

  • Interesting how he says he doesn’t look forward to any meal, he doesn’t have any cravings. Sounds like complete satiety, and I’ve been there plenty of times when I guess my body is just completely satisfied with my overall diet and I crave nothing, and no food gives me the typical satisfaction of eating. I typically force a caloric deficit after that and eventually get my cravings and eating enjoyment back, but I would be sad to live my entire life like that. I kinda don’t believe it’s like that every day for him; maybe he has certain periods where he feels like that, but probably has other times when he really enjoys eating.   • Great advice! It’s not about sacrificing fun, it’s about sorting out your priorities and making it work. This includes everything from work, school, financial stuff to family, friends, loved ones to fitness, health, and hobbies. Putting down your roles & goals in life on paper (or on the computer) really clarifies things. Example: I lost 45lbs while earning a post-grad degree, saving money, making friends, getting in shape, and meeting my awesome girlfriend. Try it, it doesn’t suck.

  • I just don’t understand the need to build USELESS muscle size. It doesn’t allow you to run faster, jump higher, jump farther or benefit you in a fight. So, why do it? I was about to skip my training because of it and stay in bed, raining outside… Then I remembered my homework.   • Ok so to be Dorian Yates maybe you do need 1.5g of protein but for most guys with a smaller structure like Stalone, Jackman ect i find its more like.7g to 1.0g.Personally i have trained and achieved a 400lb bench 500lb squat and if i ate more than 220g per day i felt sick.Most of the time i ate about180g. For reference i weighed about 242lbs 36in waist 19in arms 6ft tall.I cant tell you body fat % but i figured an extra 20lbs or so. I am curious to know what you guys normally tolerate for protein on a daily basis.

    1)Empty Bar warm up on Incline Bench then 20reps of Sixty kgs followed by 12 or more at 80kg 9-10 at 90kgs 5-6kgs at 100kgs (May go up to 110) another at 100, 90, 80, Sixty, Sixty.
    2)Empty Bar warm up on Flat Bench then first set at 100kgs for 12-15reps, 110kgx5-7reps, 120kgs for six reps with a Ghost Spotter, then 110, 100, 90, 80, Sixty, Sixty.
    3)Sometimes do machine Hammer Press Single Arm SuperSetted with Double Arms 4sets
    4)sometimes my 3rd. Pec Dec Single Arm Supersetted with Double Arm High Reps & the start 20-15-12-10reps or more

  • Last summer, my girlfriend and I were driving through Europe. We hit lots of countries driving South from Denmark. As soon as we got to Austria, I just immediately thought of Arnold. We drove all the way to his home town of Graz, then went to his childhood home. It’s a museum to Arnold achievements, and full of memorabilia. Even his first weight set! Nearly all the visitors were middle aged guys, just like me. We were all just completely in awe of everything we saw. You would catch a strangers eye, and just burst out giggling like a ten year old! I always loved Arnold growing up. I was poor, and my parents weren’t around much. I read his bodybuilding manual/autobiography ‘Arnold, Education Of A Bodybuilder’. He gave me hope. After that day, it made me realise how much he has influenced me and how grateful I am that he is still with us. Long may you reign Arnold. You’re the greatest.��

  • I don’t think it’s worth becoming so huge if you have to work so hard for it. To each their own though. Great video, was a great inspiration. I am trying to gain weight and I am struggling to eat enough. This helped me look at things through the eyes of someone who’s done it for a long time
