You must have seen many trainers telling you to breathe well during exercise. This is because the right breathing helps you to stay fit and keep your health levels normal. Fruits and vegetables are the best thing to eat when getting into shape. Apples, for example, do a good job at making the stomach feel full for up to 3 to 4 hours. Green vegetables such as green beans and broccoli keep the digestive system clean and running.

Also, stick to lean meats like turkey and chicken. • My bro Brix got that business professional look, go get it bro you deserve it, you have a gift and think you are finally starting to see it!

  • This video really did it for me bro. I’ve been trying to get fit for years and have never been able to get there.
Every time I’ve tried I get derailed from intestinal sickness, fuckin injuries, fuckin work stress, and not staying consistent. I’m really trying to learn from my mistakes and failures this time around and these videos help me a lot.

  • I agree with you 100% about not counting calories from a personal experience
Also can I ask you for a piece of advice, I’ve been training for a year with weights and HIIT I built a decent amount amount of muscles and lost 20 kg, still have almost as much to lose but the question is if I start doing just body weight exercises will I lose all my muscle? I just want to take a break from weights and try something new, what do you think? ❤️

  • Thank you for your tips on something small I no longer buy bollios A bolillo is a small loaf (about 6 inches long) of plain white bread, crusty on the outside and with a soft interior. 4 for $1 where I live bought 4 every day. Stopped buying and eating them about 3 mos and stopped eating and buying sweets for about 1 month. I just started to exercise yesterday. I feel a WHOLE LOT better. Thank you again.

  • I know I saw a video you did once on your father, but I’m sorry your mom cheated (lol with all respect. You are Dominican my brother)

  • Why this don’t skip a meal rule? Fasting has a lot of benefits, especially weight loss. I’m talking out of experience. This don’t skip a meal thing is so misleading. It’s not a taboo to do.

  • you give any solutions to increasing metabolism over 50. I have noticed this in several of your videos…I get to the end, but there’s not really a solution.

  • Give me the peer reviewed studies that prove that GMOs slow down metabolism… I’d wait but I’m pretty sure there arent any, I’ve checked.

  • literally i sleep 8pm to 6 am, i eat small portions of food, i always suck in my stomach, i never eat past 7 and i drink a gallon of water A DAY and i keep gaining weight

  • Think you got it backwards. You said your body often mistakes hunger for thirst. Should be “Your body often mistakes thirst for hunger.”

  • Do you have any citations for scientific studies in support of your second claim that non-organic foods reduce metabolism rate? I would be interested to see those.

ok so I’m not dieting BUT in the morning i literally only eat yogurt and it only has 140 calories and after that I just drink water for the rest of the day. I want to eat more but I also don’t want to gain weight.. I’m also NOT starving myself, i’m just not hungry anymore

  • I can NEVER sleep early. Although I am a heavy sleeper, I can NEVER sleep at 8:00 pm US hours. I always end up sleeping at 1 to 3 am in the morning. Sometime I sleep early but I wake up in the middle of the night for no reason. Is this normal? And I’m not a adult I’m a teenager.

  • Thank you for your videos, you have really helped me to change my life. For the first time in my life I have been consistent with eating right and exercising. Down 20 pounds in a month although it’s not a race and I have a long journey ahead of me, but for once I can say I’m proud of myself.

  • Wow your nails are so long!! Can you plz make a video on how you grow you nails and keep them healthy and strong ( cuz my nails are short and not that strong)

  • Alright, 6:15. Look, earwax wouldn’t even matter at that point. Like its a paper ball! You couldn’t even get it to touch the earwax.

  • If your metabolism is slow no diet will give you the desired results, how do you fix your metabolism you ask? thats easy! fix your diet:) oh….

  • Diet is they key. I lost 20kg and did not do any training whatsoever, i was working 12-14hr days and i just dieted. No carbs after 9am that was they key. No bread just rice.

  • Summary of video:
    1. Take progress pictures
    2. Set small goals
    3. Do not count calories
    4. Know your “why”
    5. Identify your hurdles

Hope that helps but make sure you watch the full vid to get the full info:) have a nice day/night everyone

  • Uhhhh, sucking in your stomach is good once in a while, i heard doing it 15 times burns fat or something like that, but don’t do it everyday, all day, i used to get bad cramps because i was sucking in my stomach all day because i was self concious, especially sitting down, that lil bit of chub on your stomach when you sitting down is natural even when you are super skinny, byee

    Mom: Come and eat!
    Me:I’m not hungry
Mom: Come and it!! ( devil voice) Don’t make me come upstairs!
    Me: Yes maam!
How am I supposed to loose wait with this person around?

  • I started going to the gym consitently, eating lots of vegetables every meal, drinking more water and getting more sleep.
I never drank much alcohol or ate many processed foods. But i also cut on those. They don’t enter my home but I’ll still have them sometimes when I eat out or something like that.
I also only have 1 meal a day but I think that doesn’t apply to everyone.

  • I don’t know why I can’t lose weight, I don’t each much in a day because I’m rarely hungry probably about 900 calories. I also exercise everyday can someone tell me why I’m gaining weight?

  • Actually this isn’t ok lol. You need to eat a full meal and not just even it out with water your kidneys are going to fail. Also some people on here may take this a bit too seriously and become anorexic.

  • Hi! So I have a question… I’m already training with a personal trainer with whom I’ve been having troubles because he already told me what HE wants for MY body (wants me to get bulkier which I don’t want because I like my slender physique I just want to tone) so… should I just drop him and focus on working out on my own (with videos and such) or work with both? Thanks for answering. In love with your channel

  • I swear this video was speaking to me. I’ve been back in doing cardio for almost 3 weeks straight. I want to lose my moobs but I haven’t been to the gym YET since I signed up in November. Your right though. Make your home your sanctuary and the rest will follow. Thank you for the insight sir.

  • Is this only me who missed something, or am i right that the thumbnail tip not was in the video? I espacially wanted that tip to see

  • I always find it funny when videos or workout programs say “easy way to get in shape,” like its that simple. The steps themselves seem pretty simple, but maintaining the motivation and commitment to pursuing fitness is no easy task. It takes months of hard training to become ‘fit,’ while it is very easy to slip up.

  • Thank you Holly for your videos!
Over the course of 2 1/2 years, I have lost 150 lbs.
I agree with taking progress photos, but I only took them once every 3 months or so. I wish I heard this advice when I was getting started,
I agree with your strategy. Diets don’t work! I lost the weight by making small manageable changes to my lifestyle.
My first exercise goal was to do 3 minutes of exercise a day, 6 days a week. Then I added 10 seconds a day (1 minute per week). By the time I got to 30 minutes of cardio, I had lost my first 50 lbs. Then I started weight training and added that to my workout routine.
I stayed away from sugar and processed food all my food had to have 5 ingredients or less. I increased my protein and healthy fats intake, and lowered my carbs a bit. I substituted foods, like I’d eat a cup of beans instead of a bagel, and so on. This was so I could reach my protein and fiber goals better. I made sure to eat not less than 90 g of protein, 25 g of fibre and at least 50 g of healthy fats every day. The protein, fats and fibre kept me full. I also allowed myself one cheat meal a week (that was for my sanity).
Anyway, I had plateaus, and got through them, i kept track of non scale victories, and I never lost more than 10 lbs a month.
    I dropped 16 dress sizes I went from a size 26 to a size 10.
Holly, I still follow many of your workouts in addition to weight training.
I wanted to thank you, and others like you, for your help, motivation and inspiration to keep going. I’m not done yet, I still have many goals to reach, but I have so much momentum now that I know I can reach them in time.

  • Damn yesss,I literally couldnt stop smilling during this video and when I heard Unstoppable my hear started melting, everything in your channel is MORE than worthy and hopeful!!<333

  • Finally RC bhai in Action…
Stay fit, Stay healthy…, DAO R. C. Meena takes the challenge….will you??

  • This was helpful but I need to know when to stop working out not how to motivate myself, I need to know when enough is enough I’m insecure and have extreme anxiety and excerciseing has helped but I’ve made myself sick from overdoing it and continue to because I’m addicted. I need to know how much to eat and how to get sleep how to make my muscles stop hurting snd to know when to take a rest. I’ve been working out for a week and already lost four pounds I’m not on a healthy ish diet I’m getting better, but I’m burned more thsn 1,000 calories estimated which is way overboard I guess and I’m doing at least more than a hour and 45 minutes of excerciseing and then I’m to tired to stretch at that point and fall asleep. Idk if I’m even doing anything good to my body. I mean I’m seeing a little bit if result. And I’ve tooken progression photos. And cutback. But idk when to stop.

  • You’ve always been such a great motivator of mine. I’ve been hitting the gym on a consistent level lately as well as eating much healthier. I’m far from my goal weight & size, but I’m alot closer than I was before & I’ll continue to strive forward. Thanks for all the great advice!!

  • Would you mind making a video about how to calculate your macros and your calories with your weight height, level of activity.
I know you said dont count calories, but I would disagree with you.. u know many people get fatter bcuz of those little treats that have 100+calories that we snack during the day that are not able to fill or contribute to nutrition.

I dont ask u to make a video about what you eat in a day because my body type ain’t like yours, neither my level of activity neither I think u have had a baby where ur tummy is left bit loosy..
but I would love if u make a video of how to find out what work best for us.. thanks in advance ♡♡

Edit: Btw ur videos are awesome.. some of the only that have let me sore since a year.. also please can u make a video of how to lose those last 10 pounds.. bcuz those are the hardest motherwalkers

  • Brix, quick question, I work solo everyday Pressure Washing for A living (5 days A week/Full time job). That should be a high intense workout right? 98% all I drink is water unless I mix in GFuel which is only 25 calories and healthy for you.. Just trying to loose weight/body fat without over working my body.. wanted your much respected advice Sir . Also tried to order a T-shirt off your website and it’s not letting me add it to the cart..TY for your time

  • My house is so small that I can’t even lay on the ground to do some cardio also the gym I go is too small and there are too many guys to feel comfortable so I can only do the walking and cycle machines and jump ropes in the backyard. But I want to do more!! Can any of you reccomend me some thing and thank you if you’ve read this ❤

  • Almost all tips for weight loss instructions, Egg is everywhere but I realized even boiled eggs add your weight. how this cheating is accepted and practiced by many without consideration. although my weight is quite normal, I need to maintain it to avoid further weight gaining but all suggestions went wrong direction.

  • I’ve been consistently working out for the past 6 months 3x a week, but I HATE taking progress photos. I borderline don’t like to see my full naked body in the mirror due to my own insecurities regarding my mom of 4 tummy and the fear that I won’t see results. I see progress everywhere else and a smidgen of improvement in my core area. However with your core workouts along HIIT, I do feel that I can see improvement in a short period of time. My waist is 35in, my goal is 31-32in….I just need to take the damn initial photo‍♀️

  • Thanks for this! I’ll start my fitness routine soon and this is a good set up for the beginning BTW, how tall are you? Your body looks awesome, but so tall aswell! xoxo

  • Thank you Holly for your tutorials which I have recently discovered. I would like some advice if possible please? I am 60 years old and have been training with a PT for the last 5 years but have just stopped going to the gym as I haven’t been enjoying it or motivated for a while now as I have been gaining weight. I would like to lose about 7kg to get back to 55kg which I think is a good weight for me at 164cm in height. I have been doing some of your workouts at home and would like your advice on how much training to do in order to lose weight and stay toned. Many thanks in advance

  • Holly: “Set one small goal to focus on…drinking 3 litres of water a day or or giving up some sweets”. Me: finishes second slice of cake and cup of coffee of the day having drunk zero water. Oops.

  • Cutting good carbs veggies has now been proven not to work. The insulin spike from a slice of bread is far greater then most veggies. Almost veggies can be grouped into 5/10 or 20% carbs.
