Every subculture has its own terminology for describing its way of life. The health and fitness subculture is no different. I’m simply trying to figure out my own fitness and what I like/dislike. As time goes on, I’m sure I’ll refine my workouts, but for now, I’m simply enjoying the feeling of being physically worn out by the time I hit the exit. “The fitness world needs to take a much harder look at what’s happening in the body, how the body functions, and how it relates to other parts of the body,” she says. • Cardio will make your heart healthier at the end of the day. Make sure you do both though. You are missing out on important fundamentals of strength and cardio if you leave anything out.

  • Weight training is the best form of cardio..for any of you cardio enthusiasts, take a kettlebell (Weight must be challenging )and try swinging it for a 1000 reps in the shortest time..I guarantee almost all of you treadmill or aerobics warriors will chicken out on the first 100 reps..stamina cant be built by running over the treadmill lol

  • Hello one year later, i want to go to the gym but i am really scared, because my parents most my mom wants me to ( only the first time ) have like a ”teacher” that goes around the whole gym and explains how the machines work, and i’m really scared that everyone Will judge me Because If I want to go there i wanna be alone and not talk to anybody, and now I ( maybe ) has to have a teacher that is going to talk to me infront of everybody so everyone Will know that I’m new there. Please help

  • Im 12 and classified as a healthy weight but a little chubby. I should lose weight rn before i make it harder for it in the future

  • Thanks for the concise info on this topic! The bite-size length made the decision of whether to watch it now or “maybe later” (= possibly never) very easy, and it’s clear enough on what to do.

  • many of us sometimes do not have time to devote to the exercises and I used a keto diet and it brought me excellent results I lost 37 pounds in a month now I feel super better..!

  • Can somebody give me advice, im 18 i weight 20stone and im 6 feet 4.4 inches tall, somebody please tell me the fastest weight loss meal or what to do at the gym, thanks in advance

  • I’ve been running on and off nine years. And since November 2017 running now three years straight five miles on the treadmill for one hour non-stop. I stopped losing weight after my 2018 year of just running and nothing but running. Then on June 10th, 2019. I stepped out my comfort zone, and started lifting weights at the gym along with still my cardio running workout everyday. I gotta say, ever since I started lifting weights, the fat has come right off me at 4x the rate of just running alone. I was 335lb in November 2017, with a health scare of high liver enzymes by my blood test results from my primary health doctor. Now I’m 264lb pounds. And liver enzymes are perfect. I’m not going to die. The next step was fatty liver then liver failure. And no I don’t drink any alcohol at all. It’s amazing when you take care of your body. How it takes care of you and rewards you back with feeling great everyday.

  • I made the decision to undertake some analysis on the diet system after having a close friend discussed with me about simply how much excess weight she dropped I have dropped 9 lbs. My weight loss and weight loss should have been due to this process. I have realized today I am eating healthy and balanced. Google should help you to research it. Weight program’s name is Peyton Huno†az
    good luck

  • I’ve never been to the gym, so I’m watching this video…and at 5:40 “you need to go and watch videos”…..wtf do you think I’m doing.

  • Guys, build muscle does not need to be difficult (I used to think it did). I’ll give you some advice right now. Search a diet plan known as Custokebon Secrets. Seriously, that diet plan has changed my entire life. I probably shouldn’t even be mentioning it because I don’t want a bunch of other guys out there running the same “game” but whatever, I am in a great mood today so I will share the wealth haha.

  • The thing is about my gym is it’s a apartment community gym so the whole thing is in one room and I hate working out around people that close

  • These videos are honestly so helpful! I’m 16 and going to the gym for the first time today. My doctor said I’m at risk for many medical issues and strongly recommended that I lose weight and I’m honestly super ready for a change! I hope I can come back to this in a year and proudly say I lost weight and can finally do a damn pull up LOL

  • Watched this video 7 months ago and now 7 months later im 40kgs lighter and am now at a very “healthy” weight. Thanks so much man.

  • I read many great reviews on the net about how exactly Custokebon Secrets will help you lost tons of weight. Has any one tried using this popular weight loss method?

  • I am pretty fit but am thinking about hitting the gym twice/thrice a week is it worth it, and if i do go what should i do? I was looking and was thinking about doing a 5*5

  • My gym is at my school, it’s so small! I definitely think people are watching me.. but I’m going to start going because I need to stay in shape..

  • I just got my planet fitness membership and I went everyday except for two days and it makes me so nervous especially when I’m trying to adjust the weight machine things. Like I’m really short and they’re made for tall people

  • Before honor is humility.. i bougth items http://www.blue-way.ca to give me so much needed confidence and i workout for 5months now!:)

  • If you read the comments, I could use some pointers, which might seem dumb for what I am about to mention, but I could use some help.

So after over 13 years, I have decided to start working out. Currently I smoke like a chimney, drink pretty heavily, and do not eat a lot.

I know that I need to quit smoking and drinking, but my biggest problem is that I really do not like to eat. For me eating is a chore, not a pleasure, so what are some mental tricks I can use to help myself want to eat more, so that when I do work out I actually build muscle and not end up hurting myself due to lack of nutrition for muscle building?

    (Hope my question made sense.)

  • Thank God for your video! The leg extension gave me so much anxiety cause of the chair part lmao I feel a little too pumped up to go back to the gym while it’s 1 am‍♀️

  • Moderation is perhaps the governing concept for a Christian view of bodybuilding/weightlifting. First Timothy 4:8 teaches, “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come” (emphasis added). Physical fitness is important, and as this verse states, it does have some value. We are physical and spiritual beings, and the condition of the physical body undeniably can impact the spirituality of a person. Surely part of “glorifying God in your body” (1 Corinthians 6:20) is keeping it in reasonably good physical condition. Bodybuilding can definitely be a part of a Christian’s physical fitness program.

At the same time, as with many things in this life, bodybuilding, if taken to the extreme, can become an idol. Eventually, a point is reached where there is no true value in adding more muscle. Bodybuilding/weightlifting can become an addiction and/or obsession. While this is much more often an issue with men, it can be an issue for women as well. Striving for bigger and stronger muscles, taken to the extreme, is nothing but vanity (1 Samuel 16:7; Ecclesiastes 1:2; 1 Peter 3:4). Once we allow our physical appearance to become more important than our relationship with God, it has become an idol (1 John 5:21).

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). The key question is does bodybuilding/weightlifting glorify God? If it is done to increase fitness, strength, and tone, and thereby health, yes, it can be done for God’s glory. If it is done out of vanity and pride, or from an unhealthy obsession with getting bigger and stronger, no, it does not glorify God. How should a Christian view bodybuilding? “‘Everything is permissible for me’—but not everything is beneficial. “‘Everything is permissible for me’—but I will not be mastered by anything…. ‘Everything is permissible’—but not everything is constructive” (1 Corinthians 6:12; 10:23).

    Gian Giorgio Trissino
Both I and J were used interchangeably by scribes to express the sound of both the vowel and the consonant. It wasn’t until 1524 when Gian Giorgio Trissino, an Italian Renaissance grammarian known as the father of the letter J, made a clear distinction between the two sounds.

  • This video is definitely amazing! It helps me recall of the time when my sister used Custokebon Secrets to lose 19 lbs and enjoy being healthy again! Many people want to lose fat, however we also need to stay healthy and balanced, which is what Custokebon Secrets given.

  • This video was fantastic btw. I never saw myself in the gym and now it’s 2 months in I go 4x a week and love it… I start off with cardio, I get warmed up on the treadmill, then I move to the weight machines and I go round each machine doing at least 3 sets of 10-15 reps. With a high weight. Then I move back and finish with cardio… but what’s next? What should I aim for next? I’m ready to change my routine but I’m unsure what I should head into next?

  • I’m 38 years old and avoid the gym like the Black Plague because of intimidation. maybe I’ll try again tonight. Nice video man. Guys are awesome.

  • cannot believe i stumbled upon you during the “social distancing” era. o how i wish i would’ve know about you months ago. such a motivator. like a virtual life coach. you guys are pretty dern awesome

  • So simple, yet so effective. That’s how would I describe diet plan from NextLevelDiet. Now I belive that simplicity is the key to brilliance.

  • IF YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT AND STILL EAT FOOD YOU LIKE JUST CHECK NEXTLEVELDIET. They provide you with personalized meal that contains only food you have selected, personalized training plan and amazing tips that helped me lose 30lbs.

  • I know someone whom injured their knee badly after falling on the threadmill. A piece of bone came loose and she has had massive issues since. Lots of pain and trouble walking. The doctors won’t even operate it.

  • I really want to go to the gym, like I’m really motivated to after this video, only problem is, the island I live on doesn’t have a single gym:’ (

  • Me a confused baby Yoda at the gym: pretends I’m catching my breath and scrolling through my Spotify playlist while actually googling how to use machines

  • Hello there, have you considered Custokebon Secrets yet? Just simply do a google search search. On there you will discover that a great tips about how exactly you can lost a ton of weight. Why not give it a chance? maybe it’ll work for you too.

  • As soon as all this virus stuff tones down I’m going to the gym, all of mine around me are closed until the 31st. I just turned 22 in Jan and I’m 5”9’ weigh 288 pounds. I really really need to lose weight and get to a point in my journey where I’m more comfortable with my body and more healthy. I’m scared of later in life if I don’t do anything about it now. I used to do the keto diet and went from 305lbs to 240lbs in a year but idk if it’s a good idea to try that again. My goal weight is anywhere between 220 and 190 I feel it’s a logical and doable goal weight. Just need to plan out everything!

  • Over the last year this channel has helped me so much in planning a proper gym routine. Also your tutorials have allowed me to learn new exercises and improve my form on existing ones. You two are honestly the most funny and down to earth guys ever.

  • I recently gave up drugs and alcohol… I need a life change and watching this has definitely given me more confidence to start with my health and fitness. I’m starting from ground zero and watching your journey definitely took me from frightened to excited to start my own journey to a new lease on life. Truly inspirational and I’ll definitely be following your channel as I begin my journey starting tomorrow. Keep up the great work.

  • I just finished taking the time to watch and listen to this video. This video did help and I’m going to give it a better shot at the gym. Being depressed doesn’t help at all, so its a constant struggle for consistency. Thank you. I’ll give it a better try.

  • I just started going to the gym to get rid of the dad bod, are you saying weights are more important than cardio for that? ive been doing 30-45 mins on the elliptical, but not lifting.

  • I started going to the gym 2/17/20 and have not missed a day since. Almost every single day I’ve worked out for over an hour and a half. I’m 305lbs, and go to Planet Fitness, since I’ve been going I feel better and actually crave going. It’s insane how when I’m not at the gym I think about going to the gym. I have not experienced gymtimidation, I actually love seeing others workout bc then I learn from them and how to fix my stance or posture. I just have a poor mindset when it comes to food and wish I could figure out how to not binge or eat crappy. Any tips would be awesome! Thanks guys!

  • Thanks for the wonderful explanation.. I have a question, can you suggest the types of protein and who should take what kind of protein and for how long.

  • I’m starting on Monday at my local leisure centre I’m 15 and I’m skinny as shit basically . They let 15 year olds do some of the weights at our leisure centre and I just know I’m going to fuck up with at least 2 of them. And I’m going on my own the first time so I’m pretty nervous…. Think I might just stick to treadmills until I go with a friend

  • Thank god lol, I’m studying to be a personal trainer but my background is dance, pilates, plyometrics, bands and free weights lol. I’m so scared of gym equipment, I just dont have lots of experience with it.
    This was an absolute lifesaver

  • Those bikes are actually really good for people with joint issues or recovering from severe heart issues. That’s the only thing I’m allowed to do according to my cardiologist. It is probably a much better option for the type of people this video is directed towards than the treadmill

  • This video was great. Me and the wife just started 3 days ago, and have only done the treadmill and sot down bike. Looking forward to trying diff machines tomorrow. How long did it take u to get to this point?

  • When I married my wife, back in 2000, I weighed about 140 pounds. My goal was to increase my weight to around 160 pounds, as my height is 5’9″. Over the course of about 10 years, my weight shot up to about 216 pounds (what can I say… my wife is an amazing cook). That’s when I decided to start losing weight. By watching food portions, I dropped down to my stable weight of about 183 pounds. I wasn’t satisfied, so I started working out. Over the course of a few months, I dropped 16 pounds, just by doing a 45-minute routine on the weights. I’ve started to increase the weights, in my workout, and my weight is continuing to slowly drop… and I’m feeling better than I had ever felt. My goal is to reach my original target weight of 160 pounds, but to do so in a manner that promotes actually toning my body (I don’t care if I look totally bulked out, I just want to look like I take care of myself). The important thing, though, is that in the process, my blood pressure has gone from averaging around 150/90 to averaging around 117/78, while my resting pulse rate has gone from around 85 bpm to around 68 bpm. Those numbers, alone, are a victory, in my book!

  • I notice lots of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets (look on google search engine). But I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you ever tried this popular diet plan program?

  • I decided to do some exploration about the diet program following a pal discussed with me about simply how much excessive fat she eliminated I have dropped 9 pounds. My very own fat reduction and weight-loss must have been because of this specific course. And i also am having healthy food now. Find a right program is not easy, you can research on Google. weight’s name is at the bottom.

    good luck

  • i could have used this video 4 years ago. I was so lost. but i did what any sane person would do. I watched and observed. new gym rats should watch this

  • for some reason I hate going to the gym because I feel like everybody watches me but this motivated me to go anyway, thanks love ❤️

  • after i go to gym(beginner) I’m ok but the following days I have a pain in arm muscles, i cant move them and it hurts if i have the arm 180*, how can i avoid that problem…? please

  • So my dad got a member ship and wanted to bring me for my b day bc I’ve been asking today is my first day and I’m 13 so I’m so nervois

  • So i was 95 kg 10 months ago and decided to change. I get to the gym and get inside. What did i see?! Some big ass dudes big arms, legs and all. I imediately get out and go home. Said to myself thats it im done no more gym. But then i said why do i need gym? I dont want muscles. So the next day i started diet. I can eat whatever i want how much i want just one rule. After every bite i drink 2 sips of water. Thats it. And today im 70 kg. Maybe after some months MAYBE i will overcome my fear of gyms but for now this works for me.

  • Ahh, i was just roaming around youtube while drinking some coffee before work. That ending just made my day. Thats why i fucking love you guys.

  • Thank you guys for making such informative not  condescending videos.  The information is accessible and helpful.  I’ve just started weight training, but it is so nice to be able to look at each exercise before going to the gym so I can be sure of how each move should work.
My daughters also want to try weight training because you videos make it look fun:)

    Great job, thank you!

  • I started today and I didn’t wait enough time after I ate. I was dizzy and nauseous. I had to stop and I only got 30 minutes in. I rather stop than pass out. I had a coffee and 1 hour later oatmeal. I didn’t even wait 30 minutes and I was at the gym already. Any advice?

  • Would have loved a video as this, when I started training 3 years ago.

Would be nice if you made a video like beginner’s guide to food. Think it would help a lot.

  • Yo, buffdudes ive been following your videos for a while and its helped a lot. Ive gained a lot in 2 years and your videos and even mike chang (before he started those bs ad videos that ruined everything) inspired me to workout. So thanks a lot!

  • I’m doing weights, blogilates Pilates workout and dance cardio, dance because it’s easier for me to want to do cardio. And also I do 100 squats every day, will I lose the weight?

  • I was shy at first but then I started thinking I AM paying monthly just like everybody in here and I will use anything I want. I WILL get my moneys worth. Thinking like this really helped me.

  • I’m 13 and I feel really insecure about my body in fact I hate myself. I talked to my mom about it and she suggested going to the gym to produce “positive hormones” with physical activity but I’ve never flippin been to the gym before or seen anything besides the kiddies pool in the gym from when my mom took me and my brother once a week for fun… sooo yeah I’m scared and wondering what the hell it’s like or if I’d be the only child there and stuff…

  • I always think about how people say “no ones watching you!” but I know people watch other people because I do it BUT I gotta remember that it’s not ever in a judgmental way

  • I really needed this video!! And ironically I’m actually going to sign up for edge! Lol i was shocked when i saw It in your video

  • I was on the bike today and I was people watching. I saw someone using an arm machine and thought “huh. that looks cool. I’m gonna use that tomorrow

  • How is it possible for you guys to have facial features of a terminator and voices as calming as a mother’s lullaby? Blows my mind every time I watch your videos.

  • I am new to the gym and as a beginner i have enjoyed it a lot, my gym has an app that helps you create your own workout and it shows you how to use each machine Totally love it!

  • What is the best way to lost crazy amounts of weight? I read many good reviews on the net about how exactly Custokebon Secrets can assist you lost a ton of weight. Has any one tested out this popular fat burn methods?

  • I wish my gym was that big, it’s just a room. It definitely adds on the “being watched” feeling, even if I don’t really care as much as I did before starting.

  • Our december weight loss challenge is to lose 15 lbs (7kg) and I am doing IF 18-6 and we are vlogging daily to document the progress

  • Please don’t forget that those people at the gym were once new comers like you!! they are not there to judge you but to work on themselves

  • I don’t know if this is a thing in other countries, but in Germany you can usually make an appointment for like a free Gym session with a trainer to get to know the gym and see how everything works. I found that very helpful when I went to a gym for the first time:)

  • No one is watching you haha sike there’s tons of video of people recording people who don’t even know how to use the equipment lol

  • @Buff Dudes DUUUDES! Your videos are the total package. High quality, entertaining, AND FULL of info! Do you think it’s possible to do a vid about the different parts of the major body parts, workout-wise.(I.e. Lateral head, long head, etc.) I hear you guys and others use these terms alot and I’m never CERTAIN of which parts of the biceps/triceps/quads that you’re referring to. If you can, it’d be awesome. Stay cool, and stay BUFF!

  • My gym has everything, it has free weights area, it has cardio area, the normal weight machines, it has kickbox/fight room, it has a room for grouplessons which looks like a dancestudio it has saunas, tanningbeds a pool, cycling class, everything EXCEPT for an open free area for you to do whatever you want. Its so annoying

  • hey buff dudes!!! been reppin’ it at the gym latley. wanna be a buff dude too!!! but I haven’t been able to find a video that explains how many reps/ sets slash sessions to get that good buff dude workout!!!

  • Well I have a problem, I’m 14 and I might start going to the gym but I’m scared people will judge me because I’m 14 and i look even younger because I’m 4’7” ;-;

  • This is great. Guys, please check out all the latest Gym equipment. https://www.qualitybuy.com.au/fitness-australia/

  • Here’s a tip for the beginner ladies. Don’t put all your shit on a bench to use it as a table while you work out next to it. This is literally only women who do this.

  • Not to be a downer but really annoys me when people say no ones looking at you in the gym had to quit my gym because one of the people who works there would follow me about and try and talk to me and ask me out constantly, like everyday.

  • 06.21.2020 im about to start my journey im 5’10 315 someone comment so i can keep coming back to see how far I’ve gotten. Thanks man u just motivated me

  • I went to the gym today for the first time after working out at home and thinking about it for months.. I am pretty overweight for my age and i was always so scared to go bc of other ppl jugding me but i LOVED IT..as soon as i came the owner/trainer was do kind to show me around and give me a begginer workout while explaining how to use certain machines and the ppl at the gym were minding their own workouts and didn’t really care about what am i doing which suprised me if you are still debating on should you go or not remember this: those who want it will always find a way and those who don’t want it always find an exuse!!!

  • After years of putting off going to the gym because my social anxiety would hit the roof just thinking about it, I finally picked up my lady balls and went and oh my lord I dont know what I was scared of! At first when I walked in I was intimidated but 1 of my friends said to just take some headphones and a good playlist in my phone and block out the rest and so I did. Went alone, asked the trainers who work at the gym on how to use the machines, he gave me a run down and off I went with my headphones in.

First thoughts I had when I walked in was: “omg everyone in here is going to look and laugh at me, turn around and go home”

Last thoughts before I walked out the gym doors: “Wow everyone is in their own world and actually doesn’t give 2 flying F’s that Im here. Im going again!”

Honestly, I dont know why I took so long to go. People are there for the same reason, themselves! Their own personal goals! They dont care about you. Once I was in my own zone I found I didnt care what others were doing either.

Give it a try guys! U got this

  • im 14(15 in a few weeks) and i have been struggling with an eating disorder and body confidence since i was 12. im starting highschool this year and they have a weight room and track there thats open to the students before school. i want to make myself proud and start doing it at least 3 days a week. watching this has eased the stress of the thought of doing it. thank you!

  • my city/ village or whatever has a little gym. our school does a gym group you get to go there for free once a week for 7-9th graders. it teaches you very well about how to use the machines and stuff. also my dad goes to the gym with me and is kinda a personal trainer for me.

  • i’m thinking about joining my college gym when i start this september but i’m a bit nervous cause i’m a lil fresher who’s never stepped foot in a gym before.

  • Something to keep in mind make sure to stretch before and after! Doing it before warms up your muscles and after is a way to cool down.

  • bro the first time I went to the gym I went with denim cause I was planning on swimming instead of exercise and even the staff at the gym where staring at me

  • This video is actually so helpful!! Thankyou soooo so much!! I’m so freaking nervous to go to the gym in my hometown for the first time, but this video helped so much!!

  • I definitely started out using the treadmills. Eventually I got bored. So I started switching days of cardio and weight machines. I definitely would try to watch “without watching” people use the machines. Thank God at the time I went 5:30am. The people were so friendly. I’d have people encouraged me when on the treadmill. The weight machines there was an employee who got use to seeing me and he would suggest different things for me. Either more reps less weight or more more weights less reps. He was very helpful. I was always too afraid of the free weights for sure. I never entered that room. Unfortunately time, life and family events got in the way. It’s been over 2 years definitely unfortunately gained all the weight back I worked so hard to lose. Thankfully i will be getting a treadmill from someone my mom knows since I just moved closer to her. It’s very intimidating at first but eventually you get to a point where you think I’m here for me and start to enjoy going

  • Reese, my fat percentage is 19.6 and have muscle mass of 16.5. I weigh 40.7 kg. i’m 156-157 cm.

I want skinny ass legs. I will kill for skinny ass legs.

I joined the gym 5 days ago, and my legs are bulking.!!!!!!

I had relatively skinny legs I wanted a more skinny legs, AND THEY ARE BULKING AND GETTING BIGGER LIKE HOW THEY USED TO BE BEFORE I DIETED, I used to diet and exercise at home using my body weight.

i’m sssooooooo shook at how 5 days worth of workouts just made them look bigger!!! I hate it i’m absolutely mad and sad and panicking, but I see all those girls on youtube who lift heavy weights and train their legs, and they have very very skinny legs

  • I’m cool with all gym equipment except for free barbells and squat racks, just because I’ve never seen a girl go there and I don’t wanna go and make a fool out of myself. Watched some videos and I’ll try it once gyms reopen (hopefully soon), wish me luck

  • I went to the gym like a newbie and no one is there to help me.. ok I guess no one is gonna help a potato looking person like me.. so mean:(

  • Hello there! I would love if you gave my friend a follow on insta @Lucasduvallfitness, he will be documenting, discussing and sharing his progress regarding his goal of becoming his best self, both physically and mentally.

  • To all newcomers:
Every gym has an instructor or more than one who will be only too pleased to guide you on your first days at the gym. Never feel intimidated, nervous or shy. I’ve been going to gyms for the past 40 years or so. We ALL started at the beginning. If you don’t know, ASK. Also, another tip I can leave here is to check your food and drink habits with your instructor. Don’t expect to lose weight and tone up, build muscles if you carry on with your old habits. They are very knowledgeable people and can give you many ideas as to what and when to eat and drink. Don’t be shy, just ask!

  • This video may have been posted a while ago, but if you do see this comment.

I have a quick question for those who have short arms. I can’t exactly hold onto any of the lower bars on any workout machine. Where can I place them so I will remain steady???

  • What is women’s obsession with cardio? I don’t get it, when I go on gym dates sometimes. My girl just goes straight to cardio, and doesn’t lift with me Like cmon bae spot me

  • As someone who only started going to the gym in the last few months, this video killed me and I can totally relate! “Style it out”

  • Hey, there!

  • Good! I really needed a video like this! So far, i have done only a home workouts, bodyweight exercises..And i really want to upgrade my fitness level by starting with a gym ☺ But my main problem is that iam to shy, and iam afraid that i will look ridiculous by not knowing how to use the machines..I really needed a gym guide like this So thank uu girl! U saved me

  • I’m a black girl in an Asian country and I’m scared of looking stupid at the gym…when you spoke about your version of this, you got my subscription thanks so much

  • I think it’s better you include information on body posture. For example, straight back, engage your core, squeeze you backs, knee position, etc. They are sometimes different with each equipment and extremely important to make sure you’re training the right places and preventing injuries. Where to use the adjust the machine is pretty self-explanatory when you see it, what I really want to know is how and why (like, you need to adjust this part to make sure your knees are like this, etc)

  • You’re gonna be so disappointed in me because I just KNOW my panicked little gay self is gonna screw this up the second I go into the gym

  • My girlfriend left me and I need help getting myself back in shape. This may sound obnoxious but I really need someones help. I am working out using a hone workout app and im doing it for at least a month now. I hitting a plateau.

  • I only have Youplanet fitness and like
I’m goddamn 4,10 I did not know you can adjust the seat to fit your height. I have small legs I need to go back to check it out

  • I see a lot of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google). But I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you ever tried using this popular diet plan program?

  • ok till now I know gym anxiety is a common thing that happen to a lot of people… I just cancelled my membership at gym because I stayed at lady only area to play those same eq for half year and I am so scared to go to the open area to try new eq with bunch of hulks around me… i am going back to my community centre gym though, i wish i could see your video earlier!

  • Thank you very much! Does the chin dips and pull up machine actually work? I used it before and it didn’t seem like it worked for me

  • I made a post about being lost at the gym and people just kept telling me to get a PT. This is SO helpful. I was so scared every time I went to the gym. Also PT’s are crazy expensive! I can barely afford the $30 per month for the gym alone

  • I relate haha. I am going to the gym and the first times I just feel so awkward XD But honestly I rather ask someone than just fumble like an idiot. if I would not be able to figure it out I would ask someone near me and stop the embarassment. No way I am going to feel like that haha

  • Great vid Gentleman! Thanks for the laughs. Great recovery on the treadmill Leon. Being a klutz myself I’ll have to remember that.

  • I go to the gym but I ALWAYS stay just in the cardio section because I dont know how to use those machines BUT today I’m going to try them (and I will look at what others are doing)

  • biggest problems about wanting to go to the gym but no courage to: not knowing how to use equipment and fear about looks and body shape:( I really don’t know what to do… but thank you for your video, hope I can go to gym asap, I feel like gym equipment is always better than home free dumbbells

  • The times when I see a person wearing half a vest to the gym I’m like put on more clothes cus it’s just stupid! Lysm and thanks for all the motivation, especially on your insta❤️❤️❤️

  • Thank you, I was one of those who goes to the gym to only use cardio machines because I was to embarrassed to ask to show me how to us the machines:)

  • One of the biggest things that has prevented me from seeing the effects of working out is my hesitance to do anything beyond cardio out of fear of looking stupid. So thank you for this video. I appreciate it.

  • Are you stupid? Turn the bottle upside down and shake it a lot, until you feel you shaking it enough. Then open it and scoop “should” be on top.

  • i have a question for you guys, what if im going to gym, and im not taking anything just eat healthy food does that gonna change my body?

  • Great video me and my wife just started last week said the hell with and just went now we love it so far just trying to get comfortable with it

  • When it comes to eating healthy, you must try not to fall victim to modern fad diet plans. Extreme diets are a threat for your health, especially ones that seriously restrict your daily nutritionary intake. While they might induce quick weight loss, these kinds of diets will never be a long-term answer for your weight problem. It is best to look up Custokebon Secrets on google since it is not just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • I am 28 and recently started getting this low back pain. Will you guys make a video of how to deal with back pain after gym and how can one recover. Cheers guys. You rock!!

  • Just a follow on from the great hunt for the protein scoop for the protein powder newbies. Once you’ve finished drinking your shake, clean out your shaker! Nothing worse than day old leftover protein…

  • lol “call that you are not coming to work because you lost your scoop” hahaha
something that might help with this is using a knife. Just stick it and search for the scoop:P
This is a freaking awesome video XD haha

  • Watched that in the class and laughed out loud Those beautiful moves and that scream And people who wear those shirts in the gym are so not cool.

  • Great tips and encouragement, mates, but your hilarity and enthusiasm are epic! Keep being your terrific selves. Thanks for the video.

  • the Fing scoop >.< My brother has protein every time he goes the gym and I kid you not I think he's kept the same 1 scoop from his first ever tub of protein because of the others have come with it. It's a bigger ball ache when the tub claims it's 8 table spoons of the stuff >< me and my other half use Almased which has no scoop so i've had to buy 2 sets of baking measuring stuff for the table spoon measuring cup (thing) it's easier:')

  • could you guys do a video for students who dont have a lot of time to spend at the gym? I’ve just joined the gym trying lose a bit of weight and burn off fat but with only an hour at the gym 3 times a week I struggle knowing what works best? thank yoou!!

  • perfect timing! i just had my gym induction today haha and i can officially say my arms hurt like hell but I’ll keep an eye out for the treadmill great vid!

  • it’s when you use the treadmill for the first time ever or after a while.. when you get off you will still feel like your gliding whilst walking I just try to put some sass into it but usually fail miserably!

  • Great vid guys!!! Keep it up, you’re amazing! I started wtaching you after Jamie Oliver came to cook the chopped salad:D and have been on a spiral ever since, watching all of your videos!

  • Hey guys, just wanted to know if its normal and “acceptable” to work at the dumbbell rack and also is it normal to take off all the plates at the squat rack when you’re done just as a common courtesy?

  • i’m 14 and i go to the gym with my mom. i’ve been doing only cardio, but do you think it’s okay for me to use some of these machines? of course, i won’t over due the weight, i just need an opinion.

  • Does Custokebon Secrets really help to lost a ton of fat? I’ve read a lot of good things about this popular weight loss diet plan.

  • This is going to be really hard to describe but what do you do with the machine with different types of bars (straight, squiggly etc) and ropes to pull out either side of it?

  • “If you fall off, style it off.” you guys are awesome. I’m still a newbie and I just go to the treadmill to build my nonexistent stamina and I just watch youtube videos to pass the time. I love doing the random hill option.

  • When considering eating healthy, you have to try not to fall victim to modern fad diets. Extreme diet plans undoubtedly are a threat for your health, especially ones that seriously restrict your everyday nutritionary intake. Many of these fad diets work for a short period of time and then the benefits decrease after a while. It is best to search Custokebon Secrets on the google search engine since it is not just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • THERES 10 THOUSAND PERSONAL TRAINERS IN THE WORLD WITH 10 THOUSAND DIFFERENT OPINIONS..
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS 40 MINUTES AFTER YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT DO A
HARD 20 MINUTE WORKOUT OR LONGER IF POSSIBLE THAT WAY THE FOOD YOU JUST ATE YOUR BODY WILL USE IT AS FUEL INSTEAD OF YOUR BODY STORING IT AS FAT..

  • Just ask for help, don’t be nervous… that’s what the video is really all about and telling.
As u see I’m a good boy and u can trust me homman

  • Reading some of the comments here and I have to say, some of you seem to think that being in good shape is all about having a large muscular body. Some sports require more skill and endurance than power and huge muscles. Some people don’t want big muscles. Can they still be in good shape? Yes.

  • If you want to learn how to build your business… hands down, I recommend Stu at http://www.TheSixFigureTrainer.com. I took his e-class and he is the real deal. It’s some of the best information I’ve gotten on marketing, lead generating, how to approach new clients and how to keep clients so you don’t have a lot of turnover. He talks about getting started as a trainer at ground zero too and it would have been really helpful if I was just starting out.

Stu also has a lot of free articles that are extremely (like extremely extremely) helpful… but I would do his e-class if he still offers it.

  • They really need to change the way they do things in the physical fitness world how are you going to be a personal trainer if you look like the people that need the personal trainer lol
