  • Don’t get discouraged and eat donuts. I am used to weight loss plataeus. I am experiencing one now and had them during a weight loss journey 5 years ago.
Your body is trying to fight back against the loss but it’s been my experience that you just need to wait it out.It usually takes no more than 2 weeks for my weight to start coming off again. For some people it may take 3 or 4
I’ve got 35 more pounds to lose and I suspect I will experience another stall when I lose15 20 more pounds

  • I was 340 lbs in june by December I was 210 so I lost lots of weight and I’m very happy however last 6 weeks I’ve been exercising more eating less and walking for 5 miles a day but my weight lose has stagnated I’ve lost 1 lb in 6 weeks and it’s very frustrating I eat very low carbs and less then 700 calories and very low fat even less then the first 6 months that I was loosing about 1 lb a day but now I’m not loosing I even tried festing for 6 days only coffee tea and water but I lost 2 lbs I don’t know what to do I need to lost another 39 lbs to go to 170 lbs

  • I went from really awful diet to super healthy diet and lost 80 lbs in 6 months. I lost another 40 in the next 6 months. I lost 20 in the next six months. Then it just stopped, totally ridiculous. I peddled 5,000 km over the summer and gained 10 lbs. Since cycling season ended, I’ve lost 3 lbs. I’ve got at least another 40 lbs to take off, and it just isn’t moving. I don’t eat sugar or fast food. I eat 8 servings of fresh veggies/fruit per day. These people have no idea what a plateau is.

  • In my opinion this program has the quickest results with the least effort, and it’s quite popular.

My sister and two of her friends look like totally different people now, to the point that it’s ridiculous! They swear by it.

  • I have seen myself the same on the mirror but I have seen weight change on the scale and my pants used to fit me right but now I have to use the belt tightly otherwise they fall so I believe I am growing muscle but losing fat.

  • I am not sure if I understood this correctly, but for example if I burned 300kcal during my workout, therefore the meal after the workout should not exceed 300 kcal? It has to be 300 kcal or less?

  • Actually, start eating a little more for a day or two will help moving that scale down again.
Much easier than prolonging ur exercises, keep going to museum instead of movies, or change ur way to work.

  • Please do not apologies for your Ushago!!! Some of us don’t have any and those who have are too ashamed to share theirs!! I wonder why?? You ladies come from a beautiful home, raised by a wonderful mother, salamu kwa Mum . Who knows what opportunities could rise from these videos. Food deals, farming association, home equipment etc…slay ladies slay!! One day, the now ‘established’ YouTubers will want to associate with you!! Keep up ladies!!

  • Great content Naomi . I’m 57 post menopausal & I have Osteopenia, degenerate disc disease & bulging L4 L5!! I’m on estrogel, and Vitamin D3 K2 & eat a calcium rich diet & lift heavy every day…. might I be missing some other component? Thanks again for all that you provide

  • I wish I had seen this before… I kinda figured it out by my own… but is a great piece of advive. I am gettong there slowly… but I am

  • OMG the medical “profession’ knows nothing about weight loss. Hey Mayo, heads up, we do all that stuff, it does not work. Fasting in all its forms does. Catch up!

  • I personally leave 500 kcal every day for little snacks and things like that, that I wouldn’t count and it is working cause I lost 15 kg in this summer like this!

  • I lost 10kg but I can’t go lower and am stuck at 101kg. I weightlift regularly and keep good track of my calories. In addition I don’t use sauces and try to minimize hidden calorie traps as much as I can. I just don’t get why my weightloss is stuck

  • boo… fuck this video it has garbage information, everyone give up because something is hard, hate that I’m even putting it higher in the algorithm cause of my comment, booo

  • You don’t need a food scale. You don’t even need a calorie calculator. Use common sense. Eat a lot of protein, it will keep you fuller longer and it actually requires more energy (calories) to digest. Yes, your body has to burn calories to absorb calories. Just eat less and exercise more! Work harder than yesterday, stop lying to yourself and stop making excuses and the results will come, I can promise you.

  • I am 13 and am skinny fat I’m trying to gain muscle by doing exercises and going on a diet but whenever I try my mum forces me to eat something unhealthy so I’m stuck

  • Hell Guys,, I want tell you about natural Supplements which you can use for better Weight loss & Deep Sleep.Resurge is absolutely 100% natural, safe and effective. Many thousands of folks enjoy taking Resurge every day and there has been absolutely zero side effects reported.

  • While it’s important to point out that this video has a lot of incorrect information in it, there is some truth to what’s being said. Your body doesn’t necessarily have a “set point”, because our bodies have no concept of mass and/or weight but it does have a set level of calories that it burns every day. If you eat under that, your body/brain is going to tell you that it’s hungry (like the empty fuel analogy the video uses). The part the video fails to mention, is that there’s nothing forcing you to eat if you’re hungry, you can ignore that feeling for a pretty long period of time. The other factor that influences our hunger is the body’s production of the ‘hunger hormone’, Ghrelin. For efficiencies sake, our body produces ghrelin at similar times throughout the day because it gets used to when we tend to eat. That being said, you can retrain your body to produce more or less ghrelin by eating more or less food. So over time, if you eat less, your body will produce less ghrelin. The video is also correct in saying that as you lose mass (weight, lbs or kgs), your body burns less calories. However, that isn’t so that your body can maintain weight at a ‘set point’, it’s because it requires less energy to move a smaller amount of mass.

  • Oh thank god. All of this time I thought it was the ice cream, pizza and beer that did this. It’s awesome to know that it’s completely out of my control and society is to blame. Thanks for the info

  • The “modern environment” is an environment not only “Amanda” lives in is a environment shared by every member of that society, and guess what not all members, in fact, a good part of societal members exposed to this “modern environment” are not obese, and there are numerous people who have been obese and lost weight, proof of concept that changing lifestyle is capable of beating fat and that fat IS a lifestyle choice, its time to stop blaming everyone else for “Amandas” lack of drive, and realise that obesity is caused by the obese individual not by the “environment they live in”, stop blaming society for our wrongdoings.
This comes from someone fighting weight capable enough to accept that his actions have consequences and that is morally integral enough to not blame other people for my lack of self control.

Set points are modifiable trough routines after loosing fat and consistency, set points are not engraved in stone, and it took her “amanda” a lot of time to “set her point” as high as it is now.

  • Can anyone help me?
i was wondering in a meal package such as instant noodle, says the amount of total calorie is 320, should i also include its carbo into calorie? it got 42 carbo, which means its actual total calorie is 452, or the 320 total calorie already include its carbo and other nutrients?

Its probaly a stupid question but i hope someone stumble upon this comment and able to answer it, thank you very much

  • Can you make a video on how to lose weight mostly my belly fat I want a full program it must contain a lot of beer and a lot of pizza

  • I can’t imagine myself measuring and weighing my food, keeping a journal and become obsessed with my body. This is a full time job!

  • This video is fantastic! It helps me recall of the time when my spouse used Custokebon Secrets to lose 18 lbs and enjoy being healthy again! Many people wish to lose fat, but we also require to remain nutritious, which is what Custokebon Secrets gifted.

  • Your content is gold… I’ve grown pretty tired of most content relating to nutrition and thought I knew it all but man… your content is a great refresher and tightly nit… subbed!

  • I’ve tried everything ‍♀️ I stopped eating food and just drinking water for a whole week I tried exercises I’ve tried going on walks riding my bike but nothing works I’ve tried eating slowly but there’s just nothing working I’m ready to just give up sometimes I think to my self like how did I get so unhealthy I use to be a cheerleader a dancer and won lil miss Dayton so what happened I was so active my life was so easy and I felt so perfect but now I just feel like i am actually cursed! ☹️ I rlly don’t know what to do anymore! Nothing is working

I’m about to start my first year of high school and my goal was to be healthy and fit before school but now I don’t have a goal ‍♀️ I wish magic was real

  • M3tabolic adaptation whether it exists doubles my body fat anf I ate very little, my metabolism slowed over time as I didn’t take cheat meals or diet breaks. I gained 11 pounds of running and walking up to 2 hours. Metabolic adapration can eliminate a deficir even up to 90 mins traininh daily as i don’t remember to eat i tend to eat just maintenance then expend about 600 calories i started maintaining then suddenly went up 2 pounds and that has made me not trust the process. I burn fx,k all. It wasnt water retention. I grew to hate exercuse and now I get injured running as the skin is pulling my quads. Im cutting out food items one by one but i think i might only require 1200 without exercise and i don’t walk much anymore. The 11 pounds destroyed my confidence. Im working on diet and light walking.

  • Exercise and healthy, limited eating. That is the answer. Everyone wants to complicate the answer. You need a calorie deficit of 3500 to lose 1 pound. You can do it from exercise, eating healthy, or both. That’s it. Tip 1: if you can’t remember everything you ate in a day, you are eating too much. Tip 2: the body thrives on consistency, its a slow and steady marathon not a sprint. Tip 3 weigh yourself every morning after the bathroom. Wear the same clothing. The trend should be down. Tip 4: Do a limited exercise program that you can easily fit in at home. If you have to drive to a gym, or its too long and intense, you won’t do it. Tip 5: layoff the booze, sugary drinks, etc. The odd drink is ok. Tip 6: Walk and move, everything you can do burns calories. Take the stairs, walk to the store, it all adds up. Today’s society is all about labour saving. Motion is lotion. Tip 7: Want to look great? Get your BMI down near 20. Guys will have abs and women will be lean and mean. Tip 8: Don’t believe any of this lose 15 pounds in a week etc. That will only happen if you get a limb amputated. There is no silver bullet, it takes focus, dedication, consistency.

  • Thank you so much for telling me what the problem is, you want to tell me how to fix it now? Oh no okay just end the video, okay cool

  • Just noticed I made an error on the graph at 6:35 the bar graphs are labelled opposite. The “400” one should be “perceived calories burned” and the “250” one should be “actual calories burned”. My bad!!

  • I was gonna jump on all my junkfood before watching this.

However I don’t understand why some app tell me that to lose a pound a week I should eat 2,134 calories per day, another one is saying 2000 and another one is 1900.

  • Your honesty is so refreshing especially in these times…
smart decision to move to the country side and it’s a blessing not a lot of us have that option or luxury… stay blessed both of y’all… yr an inspiration…!!!
