Flexible Dieting: The Overhyped Battle Between Clean vs. Dirty Foods Food it is needed for survival, happiness and in our case, results. For the longest time there has been an argument regarding food choices and the effects they will have on our appearance.
Clean food is defined as unprocessed and unrefined food such as whole grains, healthy fats from avocado. Dirty food will be the opposite such as food containing sugar, processed food and most fast food served in fast food restaurants. Junk food is mostly potato chips and candies.
Clean vs Dirty. Over the years you have probably seen the charts showing the statistics for how hard you would have to work to “burn off” the calories of all different kinds of candy or chocolates that you might consume. For instance, you consume a miniature Twix bar and therefore, have to. As a basic guide, clean foods are “real foods” and close to nature, whereas dirty foods are processed, packaged and contain a number of ingredients.

Clean foods: Cal density varies extreemly, but most are full of nutrients that your body needs to function proporly. If I’m going to eat soething, I want it to actually have some benefit. It doesn’t matter if you eat 100% clean foods 100% of the time, or eat those same clean foods maybe 90% of the time and various supposed dirty foods the other 10% of the time.
