If it was possible, I think it would be amazing if you were able to do a video on how to undo the damage that dieting can do. How to restore the correct levels of leptin and grelin, as well as restore the metabolism. Essentially it would be a video on how to get your body out of that kind of starvation mode that dieting can induce. Thank you, I really love your channel!!

I dont know if they still exist, as youtube has a tendancy to delete such videos, but I have seen footage of cat, dogs being, skinned & or cooked alive, so theres no way Im going to believe anyone denying it on youtube. Why are you emphasizing on dogs for? What about cats? I have also seen rats, mice etc killed by a blow & skewed. Even animals burnt alive with a flame gun.   • I really want to get to a point where I can just have a positive relationship with food and not restrict myself or try to change my eating habits only to look a certain way. Logically, I know it’s stupid but if you hear a lie enough times, you start to believe it. The message that my body isn’t enough is Everywhere. �� I just want to not think about food or my body in a negative way and just be casual about it, eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full. I just keep going between eating super super ‘clean’ and just having junk food as all my ‘meals’. Same thing with exercise. I fuxking hate society. ������

  • This is why I’m not ‘dieting’ in the traditional sense. I’ve just changed my calorie intake to what I want to eat for the rest of my life (with some exceptions sometimes of course), and my weight will follow that and find a balance with it. Whatever weight I end up with when it finds that balance, is what I’ll be happy with. I try to stick around 1500kcal a day, with some fluctuations for special occasions, and I feel full, satisfied and find that that I feel the need to binge and eat fastfood less and less.

  • This is good, BUT, how comes u don’t mention the fact that ppl like the biggest loosers they did not get fat by eating freaking Brokkoli… xD I mean I diet short and hard… Sience based psmf diet.
    But the problem of our society is not that diets fail, it’s the food they get fat on is highly processed and those chemicals affect hormones and satiety and all that… I mean cutting hard or less hard does not mean u gain everything back. Those ppl usually already have messed up eating behaviors. Metabolic damage is a joke xD it’s way more psychological problems they have and due to that binge. Those processed foods are addictive.

  • Small portions and no snacking between meals helped me lose 30 lbs. I use my Fitbit to count calories and track water intake and steps. 1200 calories per day will get the weight off fast. ��

  • Many Americans do not know what a balanced diet is much less know how to cook balanced meals every day. It has become acceptable in the US to be overweight, even among younger people whose metabolism should be working well. This is evidenced by the numbers of diabetics, obesity and those with heart conditions, who have higher mortality rates, ie COVID. This is not related to lack of availability of adequate health care. This is the American mindset that is irresponsible to themselves and for the planet.

Also: I got into habit to eat my lunch in a bit less than two hours. holywood brainwashed me to move to the land of milk and honey where, very quickly, I had to learn to swallow my sandwich in less than 5 minutes… And; remember having that brick in my belly, followed by bloating, indigestion… Had to slave my life in capitalism if I wanted to survive… And, after years I have learned to work day and night, 7 days a week, not to sleep when I should, not to eat when I was hungry but: when a chance presented itself… And: after 40 years of those; I am still alive, unable to work and: unable to receive my money back cause: I keep on filling forms wrong ways… america the great did swallow my life…

  • I practice fasting twice a week and if I do have a day where I am celebrating and eating a lot I make sure that either the day before or the day after I take in minimal amount of calories to compensate. Definitely walking and I think it’s important to add weight exercise as we age to keep our muscles firm. Also of course yoga is awesome for flexibility, balance, coordination and maintaining great posture as you age and it’s fun to!

  • My eldest sister went to Chiba 30 years ago. There were signs on the road saying, “please do not spit on China” It is a disgusting habit that spreads TB, influenza and every other manner of disease.

  • I agree with everything you said. I am not sure why people eat as they walk. I do not want to see that, it isn’t elegant. But in America there are a lot of carnivals, state fairs, street festivals and street food vendors. People like to grab a bite as they rush off or leisurely walk around the fair grounds or park, especially with ice cream cones or coffee. I agree about the portion size. I do not know what is happening in America. I am 66 years old, and it was never like this before. About 6 months ago I went to a restaurant and ordered a salad before my meal, it was so huge and so carelessly (I thought) prepared, not only couldn’t I eat even a small portion, I didn’t want to take it home with me. I just got upset about the waste and the affront of the huge portions. I never want to eat like that, I just want to have small bites and just taste every course. I do fast, that seems to help, but at 66, it is hard to keep your waist small. I do work out, everyday, but I belong to a nice tennis/swim club. As of now, my membership is on hold until Covid is over. But I do walk every day and I do weights, yoga, calisthenics and stomach crunches most every day. I enjoy your videos very much. Thank you.

So trying to blame the Chinese right now for this pandemic is really xenophobic.   • He’s right. He’s saying human should eat human diet. Like elephants eat elephant diet. So basically human should eat what would they eat if they were in the wild: anything edible, variety, whole, organic, diverse food.
    I have dieted all my life, and my conclusion is: to eat a little of a lot diverse whole vegs, fruits, animals; the color of the rainbow. and satisfy all 7 tests of: sweet, salt, pungent, sour, bitter, astringent, and umami.

  • Ive been to france a few times and the last time i noticed people in the service stations standing up at tables eating croissants and coffee in disposable cups on the go and not looking so healthy. I felt it was a shame things were heading this way. What i do love out there is they have so many picnic spots to stop at on journeys. We always pack a lunch and stop somewhere nice.   • Okay so here is my history: I’m bisexual… and bulimic. Although both things don’t seem related, they are. My family is very conservative and homophobic. When I discovered myself years ago I started a journey of punishing myself, even though I didn’t feel bad for being bisexual, I was always fearing everything, feeling anxious for everything and not eating anything. I went through therapy and jumped from anorexic to bulimic to orthorexic to bulimic and so on. My parents think that therapy sessions don’t work, but the reality is now I know why I just can’t eat as a normal person or love myself like a sane person. It’s because I just don’t fit in my family. I’ve always felt unloved since I was a child because my mother always controlled me. So I started controlling the only thing I would be able to: food.
    Well, I’m still battling my Eating disorder, but every time I’m at home I get worse and worse. I just can’t get rid of diuretics. I just can’t stop counting calories. I’m always panicking.
    It’s not just your fault you can’t maintain a good relationship with food. You have to look around. Look how you grew up.

  • This video made me feel so much better tbh. because I had been losing weight at such a slow rate. I’ve lost 16 lbs in 4 months, which I’m very happy about, but it’s hard not to compare yourself to other people who have lost double or triple that amount in the same time. But I feel happy and healthy and strong and I still have a long way to go, but I’ve realized that I’m not in a race with anyone. I also have PCOS which additionally affects my hormones and makes it more difficult to lose weight, but I also know that I can manage my symptoms better at a healthy body weight, which I’m still obese so I’m working on trying to get there in a sustainable way.   • Yeah, I too am guilty of jumping from weight loss plan to others as well, I think that I must have tried every fat reduction method that was available, but in the end not one of them made it easier for me to shed and maintain the weight off. But then you have people like myself who love my country and would lay down our lives to protect her in a moments notice and that I believe are most Americans.   • Hello Frederique! I am puertorrican and my culture does eat a lot of carbs (bread and rice mostly). I practice fasting same as you mention in this video and it works wonders. I am a wine lover and don’t want to give up on that one so I eat fruits, veggies and soups most of the time to balance my calories.   • Dairy Allergy.. I was that kid!! I was taking pills.. I would walk in to a room and my nose would run… the step out side it would stop.. and Dairy made it worst, and they tell you it is not the case.. I am alleric to dust mites.. but it is almost no existant issue if I don’t have dairy.. Milk is a nasty thing. My gut was bloated.. the gas… and the diarea.. from the allery untill I learned I was allergic.

  • I lost 10kg a year ago, wanted to lose like 15 but just couldn’t do it anymore because of all of the cravings. Today i gained it all back and 1kg more. Its hard to think that i suffered months for nothing. Looking for more sustainable and healthy solution. I tried intuitively eating 9 months ago a bit but still overate a lot ( maybe i still felt guilty for eating certain food so it lead to binging ). I know weight doesn’t define you but I’m overweight and I’m closer to obesity than normal weight which scares me. I used to weight 15 kg less at 18 and I’m 21. I hit puberty early so I had my “adult” body. I did start taking the pill which might have not helped. I wish i didn’t diet at 18 when I was perfectly normal…

  • I go every year to visit my French relatives in France. There are plenty of overweight people there. In fact my husband and I are not on any pharmaceuticals (we live in the USA) but our relatives in France are on cholesterol lowering drugs and for high blood pressure.

  • I’ve seen worse toilets in india. Toilets on the train are great, you can see the tracks whipping by below you. In the morning riding in the rickshaw to school seeing the piles of poop on the road. Still love India though. Good thing about india is most people are vegetarians.

  • Thank you for this! I have always been very obsessive over calories and have been eating less & starving myself since I got more conscious about my body image. I developed Body Dysmorphia because of criticisms about my body. After I started, I stuck with starving myself and eating less than 700 calories partnered with working out 3 times a day for a 3-4 weeks. After that my body just said NO and I started bingeing and overeating which’s continued for 2-3 months. I wasn’t aware that I already developed binge eating disorder. During that time also started feeling extremely guilty and started bingeing & purging which is something I’m unfortunately still fighting through with today. I’m now starting recovery & not forcing myself to workout. I am also not starving myself anymore, though there are days where I still binge and purge.

    Moral of the story: Don’t restrict and starve yourself. Don’t force yourself to exercise. Don’t obsess over calories, and don’t force yourself in a diet. I have developed Bulimia because of it, and it is worse than you think. Slow is better in the long run! It’s okay to treat yourself, but keep it in moderation. Stay strong & keep going!

  • Yo, I must argue wit this wonderful speaker upon a point: Milk. Was jest now watching a KavKaszes Docu & there is a woman born in 1890 in that doc, who loves to drink fresh cows milk. So my argument is this: Milk ought not be verboten, rather we are simply doing it wrong. When we lock up cows, take away their young as they are being born, denying them the comforts in life, we create embittered beings. Every drop of the conventional milk, when they use the cows wrongly without giving them their cuddles & due, is produced under stresss. By drinkin’ it we GD forbid imbibe dis-ease. So let’s rethink that one..

  • I am a little upset right now… I have been struggling with my weight for my whole life and I have thyroid problems. How can I lose weight then? If deficit is bad for you and your metabolism, if healthy diets don’t work because I constantly gain weight, if starving doesn’t work… how should I do it? I don’t think I have any options left at that point because I have tried everything.

There are places in these countries geared for the tourism and this is the areas they try and keep you in. I believe India runs along the same lines and problems you find in china.   • Liked the talk except for the ‘French food is the best in the world’. I feel like the French are sometimes a little too proud of their food. Of course French food is very good I’ve tried a fair number of traditional dishes during my last visit to France. But most people will think that their own cuisine is the best simply because that’s what you grew up eating. Besides, look at Asia, so many cuisines that are so under appreciated incredibly complex and flavourful, have unique cooking techniques and ingredients and are still healthy so that they don’t need to be eaten in moderation.

I gathered a lot of good stuffs on them But, If people want to go deeper they need to start a Wildfit program who is WAY TO EXPENSIVE for the average people. No many people that I know have the money the power to spend 700$ in one shoot. You said that it’s a good investement, cheaper than the thousands of $ you will depense a year for supplement and other kind of stuff but, as I said, most of the people don’t have of these money to spend like that, in one shoot. I understand the amount of work behind, the community thing and coaching and maybe it justify the price, I don’t know but you should give all this information about food easier for people. I would love a book about it for exemple! If you really want to change the world dudes, it could be clever.

  • For me intermittent fasting works: only two meals a day: the first one around lunch time, the second around 19:00. a total of 1500 kcal per day.
    No sugar or other sweeteners and very little bread. So I basically eat low carb with a lot of salad and veggies. Not much fruit, blueberries once in a while.

    Clean eating, of course. Mostly organic.

    Vegetaruan except for 2x months salmon, 1x month liver for B12 etc.

    I differentiate between my normal eating and social or cultural eating.
    Social/vultural eating is when I deviate from my normal nutrition because it’s worth it.

  • They have something like that with a hog and Colombia but we cook it the same here in the United States.. they just do it the same way to make sure that doesn’t have any problems but they’re cooking it just like you would a pig…

  • Milk IS good for you, it is the “wild” human diet for thousands of years. The problem now is that it’s pasteurized so much and the milk doesn’t come for cows with their natural diet. People who have lactose problems later find that after drinking raw milk their lactose problems go away. Raw milk has lactase.
