  • I’m gonna have mine in 19/8/2020 I need to lose 77lb, gonna update u guys but please comment me here to get ur notifications & not to forget

  • I am 50 year 34 BMI black male. Wrinkles have started showing on my face. Will Botox treatment be sufficient to restore my facial looks if I undergo bariatric surgery?

  • I have a question. I’m scheduled for sleeve gastrectomy on 7/22/19. I’m planning a weekend trip to Las Vegas from 8/8-8/11. That’s two and a half weeks after. I’ve read it’s common to return to work a week to two weeks post op. Will traveling by car to Las Vegas be ok?

  • Doing research on this and came across a professional who claims, if you stick with your diet and perhaps more exercise the loose skin tightens up as it did on him. And he’s right about still fat on the skin after watching this there is still a pretty thick layer of fat still on that skin. He claims skin is a living organ that stretches and retracts eventually but if there’s still fat building structure on the skin layer then it can’t retract. He wrote a column about it called The Myth of Loose Skin.

  • In my opinion I’d rater have a empty apron than a full apron. Skin I can hide with clothes, huge belly I can’t hide no matter what. Besides there is always plastic surgery, but that is not awailable untill after weightloss.

  • +Dr. Matthew Weiner This is my largest concern with my up coming surgery. I am massively overweight(Over 500lmb), but I hope my youth will help. (30 years)

  • Hi Dr. Weiner thank you so much for the amazing videos / info you have shared with us.. If I do the surgery for extra skin around my tummy and arms pls I want to make sure he’s an excellent surgeon pls can you suggest one or two for me around the Hartford Ct area.. I want to make sure he does a good job don’t want to look like Frankenstein please help me.. Thank you kindly.. Hugs

  • Dr. Matthew, Simply thank you for sharing some very informative videos. I am still working very hard on my life changing weight lose journey from the Bariactric Sleeve. You answered a lot of question that I had… #FeelingBlessed

  • If you ever do an update it might be nice to talk about some of the various things people are doing or selling. to minimize the extra skin as it seems there might be a lot of snake oil there.

  • Thanks for the vid. This is very helpful for anyone considering surgery. I had numbness and some itching after doing coolsculpting that sounds similar and it was really confusing and I hadn’t foreseen it. What was the most distressing thing is that it lasted a long time (3-4 months), and I thought it would never go away. Also interesting after the coolsculpting was that I did a DEXA scan and saw exactly what you described, where the fat moved to different parts of the body. It’s like when you take it away in one place, it needs to find somewhere else to go.

  • Is there anything that I could do to minimize or even prevent excess skin after my surgery? I am 22, so hopefully my age will help with that. But I am hoping to lose around 120 pounds.

  • Thank you so much for the videos!! They help me resolve a lot of questions. I’m 27 years old and my goal for the surgery is 60 pounds, my biggest concern was about excess skin, but apparently it won’t be as bad as I used to think.

    Again, thank you very much!!

  • Glad I found this! I’ve been worried about potential scars…yours were so much better than I was imagining, I feel reassured because I’d be very pleased to reach the same point. But I’m very sorry you had such a terrible experience with the surgery and surgeon. Thanks for sharing your story!

  • Shit! You got taken on the price!!!!! So sorry our experience wasn’t great. The surgical scars don’t look too bad. Use bleaching cream or Ambi (yes, it’s geared toward African Americans, but it will help lighten the scars).

  • I can totally relate to this! Had a loose skin removal surgery in June last year and I experienced so much I didn’t even think of beforehand. Like, I had freckles on my lower belly that’s gone, I don’t have any feeling around my “new” belly button or my lower abdomen and I’ve also gained weight which all went to my legs. I was kind of worried about all this but it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one experiencing these things!

You’re awesome, Zach!! And thanks for sharing

  • The real question ppl should be asking is how you paid for it……or how did you ins to pay for it bc i am in need of removal that ive carried around since I was 12 years old

  • I have lost 50 of the 150 lbs i must weigh to be at the top of my goal weight. not only do i have skin upper arms but my arm between between the elbow and wrist is also flabby. will they also remove that?

  • Ok number one your are gorgeous, and you have a beautiful smile! Number 2 take what others say with a grain of salt, for the women that said you needed your teeth done, she’s jealous of you, there is absolutely nothing wrong with your teeth, I wish I was so lucky to have such a beautiful smile…actually I think she did a good job on your arms, the scars aren’t that bad and they are very straight…I have seen hack jobs in arm skin removal…and congratulations on your baby, I know you are enjoying motherhood…please don’t take hateful people to serious, they are unhappy with themselves, that’s why they put others down, it’s to make them feel good…God bless, keep enjoying your new life and beautiful baby

  • anyone who says going through gastric bypass is not working for weight loss can kiss my ass. (not that I’m implying you had it. i just hate this idea that gastric bypass is an “easy” way out)

  • Dude should’ve just fasted he’ll have Zero loose skin…. every obese fatass has to fast it’s the only way. You’re carrying tons of stored energy.

  • I don’t know how old this video is, but have u tried hemp/CBD oil or cream? & Calendula/marigold is supposed to be good for scarring as is manuka honey. Hope this helps. And well done to you!

  • I’m so happy for you!

Are you going to do a follow-up video about what the scars look like now?

I’ve always wondered about how much they’ll fade after such a major surgery. Not that the scars detract from your looks, of course, you’re very handsome.

You remind me of my nephew. He was a big boy and in his teens started walking and cutting back on food (especially junk food) and dropped a lot of weight. He looks great and feels so much better about himself.

My Mom had a hernia years ago and woke up from surgery to be told that she didn’t have a belly button anymore. Jump forward to her pregnancy with my younger sister, a girl in her 20’s told my Mom that she couldn’t be pregnant without a belly button because the baby wouldn’t be able to breathe. 😉

  • I’ve learned a lot from your video and I have a lot of questions for any doctor before they even touch me… I hate insensitive ingenious doctors …

  • This is really inspirational to me as at the beginning of 2019 I was just over 250 pounds and decided enough was enough and I cut out soda and eating after 10 pm or before 10 am aswell as just doing so small home workout routines and over this year I have lost 75 pounds it was hard work but I’m happy. I’m also excited because my New Years goal for 2020 is to start working out at a gym to get truly fit and build muscle and shape and I’m thankful that recently a gym opened up about a block from where I work so I can just go workout before or after work now. I’m about 10 pounds away from my goal weight so im happy. I have also been dealing with a smaller amount of loose skin and have been thinking for awhile about getting surgery to fix it. Mostly just my stomach because it stresses me out to look at it sometimes because it doesn’t always look like the weight I lost is gone. Thank you for making this video tho it will help me if I do decide to get surgery on what to look for

  • Congratulations! You look great! I’m thinking about doing this next week but I’m concerned about the recovery. Do you think I’ll be up and about in 3 weeks with little pain?

  • It’s so weird because I’m on the process of losing weight, and I’m looking really forward to having the scars after having the surgery for some reason. Lol. I’m weird. I just think it’s sorta unique.

  • Girl your so funny i love how your addressing the negative comments! Lol I’m in the middle of my weight loss journey thanks for answering questions.

  • It’s amazing how you got pregnant after the surgery. It’s amazing how our bodies correct themselves when we dump the stress. You look great!

  • Thank you for sharing your story and your honesty in doing so. I am currently trying to lose weight and need to hear the reality stories about what happens after weight loss. You are lovely!
Ignore the rude people they are hurting and can do no better.

  • Thanks for sharing your story, including pics! You’re an inspiration to those of us on a similar journey….it helps to feel less alone!

  • Oh my God you’re story is so similar to mine I had been trying for over 7 years to get pregnant and I was severely overweight at the time to that might have been why but as soon as I lost 80 pounds I got pregnant right in the middle of my weight loss journey and I gained 60 pounds now I’m below pre pregnancy weight even closer to my goal and I have a lot of loose skin as well it sucks but it’s proof of our hard work Thank you for posting this video by the way I’m also planning to get my excess skin removed in a year or 2

  • Hey! You are gorgeous and brave! I had some scars before and I used rose hip oil, it really works. I used everyday at night, and I always wore sunscreen! In 5 months the scars were gone!

  • You are gorgeous we need to learn English if we want to see you and you’re arms looks good thanks for the info helps a lot of people like me

  • You need to research autophagy, it will help with scarring and stretch marks-I am into the ketogenic method of eating, and have encountered a lot of people who lost 150+lbs who have no loose skin, their stretchmarks and wrinkles are going away as is scarring, you might try it. Good luck, you look gorgeous!

  • How much did it cost getting that much skin removed, and how long did it take to be healed enough to work and do normal activity. Thanks for the info, like you said not a lot info out there for guys.

  • I NEED THIS. NOT HER!!! GOD HATES ME!!! I AM NOT HIS CHILD!!! I I WAS HE WOULD CARE FOR ME!! HE DOESNT CARE FOR ME AND HE NEVER WILL. HE ONLY CARES FOR THIS SELFISH SPOILED BITCH!!! GOD HATES ME!!!

  • reconstructive surgery to remove the excess skin, which can be terribly problematic, is an available option only after the goal weight has been reached.   these greedy ass insurance companies kill me with their reluctance or outright refusal to cover certain, non-cosmetic, procedures.

  • Uhhh you are gorgeous. Who cares how you lost your weight when the most important thing is that you lost the weight. No you don’t need dental work you have pretty teeth!!

  • PLEASE HELP ME!!! IM BEGGING SOMEONE. PLEASE HELP ME. I AM AT THE END OF MY ROPE AND I NEED THIS. DO NOT RESPOND UNLESS YOU SAY YOU CAN HELP ME. I WILL FIGHT TO THE DEATH TO GET THIS. I HAVE FOUGHT FOR SIX MONTHS AND I WILL FIGHT TILL IM DEAD IF NECESSARY

  • You seem well adjusted and very realistic in your results. That is so important. You are beautiful with a great smile. Jealous people are small minded and petty.

  • You’re gorgeous and I’m glad I found you! I am definitely NOT one of those wretched haters you’ve had to deal with but I do have a question about your face and lips…. fillers or no? Was that okay to ask? Have you had any lifting or filling in your face and or lips. If so, can I know how to go about it? Whatever you’re doing looks great on you, so please don’t feel judged, I just want to ha e the same success.

  • First of all, kudos to you for losing all that weight! Love your honesty not to mention, your bravery for speaking out about your experience and showing your scars. That can’t be easy for everyone. You’re beautiful person inside and out. You are God’s blessing to your husband and son.

  • I can identify with the gastric bypass comments. About four years ago, I started eating better and controlling my portions, and going to the gym 5-7 days a week. I lost 174 pounds by literally working my ass off. People were constantly asking me when I had surgery.

I agree that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a gastric bypass. For me, I wanted to be recognized for all of the hard work I put into losing that weight.

Skin surgery is something that I would like to consider down the line. I have at least another 50 pounds that I can stand to lose before I start to consider that.

Thank you for posting this video.:)

  • I’ve lost 130 pounds and have about 50-70 left to go to be at my ideal wt. I’ve also not done it with surgery, although I have a couple of good friends who have and have had great success.

I will definitely want excess skin removed once I’ve lost at least another 50 pounds.

My vision is to get tattoos to disguise or decorate the scars. Is that anything you’d consider?

  • I also had a big scar and someone told me to use the vitamin E in capsules and apply to scar once or twice a day. I was so surprised it actually worked and scar is almost completely gone. I like to help out and hopefully if u try it, it’ll help. By the way ur GORGEOUS! Ignore all those rude comments.Keep it up! U have admirers that look up to u Chica!!!!!

  • Congratulations on how hard you worked to get where you are. I’m currently on my weight loss journey and will most likely need skin removal. Thank you for your honesty.

  • I really admire and appreciate your honesty. I was actually turned down by a doctor when I made an appointment to have brachioplasty surgery. I never sought any one else out. You’re an inspiration. Thank you.

  • As a massage therapist, massage really helps with scarring, especially during the post acute phase. Massages increase circulation, therefore bringing more blood flow to the area promoting healing.

  • I don’t know if the weight loss community have tried dermarollers on scar tissue? I know it works for acne scars. I have also had some success with scars.
Congratulations on the weight loss and the baby! Happy to see such nice happy endings! You look great!

  • I had boiling water spill on my right leg and got 3rd degree burns that healed 5 months later in the form of keloids. I spent the next 2 years getting 8 steroid shots in the keloids until they created a flat surface. I do still have lots of scarring but I’m glad the surface is not so traumatizing to look at. Your so strong!

  • Your an Amazing women! All the things that went wrong after surgery…omg…I’m deathly scared of hospitals lol. You look absolutely fantastic. Hats off to you. You worked your a$$ off losing weight and that’s hard to do. I’m only in my 3rd week of healthy living and working out and it’s not easy. Congratz girl. Your inspirational.

  • I’ve had fraxel laser on my stretch marks and it made a huge difference and they were the old healed kind. Lasers can help with scars too if you are interested in that kind of thing. You’re beautiful
    And thanks for the video

  • Was there any change in the appearance of your genitalia? Honest question, my surgery is on the 28th. Just trying to confirm or deny what I’ve read.

  • you look amazing, its believable one can lose weight naturally i’ve done so twice with D+E and lost 40kg two times 2012 and 2016. 2020 after having my son and doing my msc im stressed as hell and my partner does help, so i finally decided i wanted to do gastric bypass which is scheduled for on 11 june (6 days time…) before i do remove the skin i will have one more child. Then my plan is to not gain too much weight during preg, skin removal and possibly repair my ab muscle which the preg tore! pls ignore these jealous retards.

  • This is one of the most helpful skin removal videos ive seen on youtube for men. I am planning the same surgery early next year (2 years post gastric bypass surgery). To date I have lost 270lbs. Thank you for sharing and your positive vibe as well! You look amazing bro!

  • Getting an extended tummy tuck and gyneocomastia done this Thursday. Needless to say your videos have motivated me soooo damn much. Excited for the road ahead and for the final results. Thanks so much for the confidence!

  • interesting video, but problem is….he is starting to put the weight back on…in different places….maybe he should have waited…to see if he really meant business to lose weight permanently before going under the knife.

  • Hello, Videos with great content specially for guys thinking of doing this procedure, i saw all your videos and i feel like the missing piece and a great video part of the process is maybe including the cost of the surgery in total, from doctor, bandages, etc. People don’t really talk about money but it is a very important factor and a reason for a lot of people for not getting the procedure, as everyone knows something aesthetic is not considered or covered by insurance but it does take a big toll on someone mentally, personally and sometimes socially. Totally appreciate your material and will keep on following your path!

  • I’ve had several skin removal surgeries myself and that itch is completely normal and it happens because the nerves are reconecting or regenerating, it’s actually called phantom itch because it’s there but can’t scratch it lol. Btw the numbness will slowly go away and you will get your feeling back gradually over the years. Congrats!!!

  • Because of you sharing your journey, I have decided to sell my house and get the surgery. I’ve lost 200+ pounds and hate my body. I’m sick of wearing spanx because it’s like false advertising to guys I try to date. I want to be able to be shirtless without feeling like everyone is staring at my stomach. Thanks for being so candid, Zach.

  • Yo that itch is real. I had major breast reduction surgery, and part of my incision line still gets that deep, unscratchable itch from time to time and it’s literally one of the worst things.

  • We need more vids and updates Zach…you are amazing and your journey thru weight loss and skin surgery is life changing…I am here from ObeseToBeast that i just joined about a month ago…i am working on my weight loss right now and down 50 lbs in 8 mos…thinkin about getting the surgery after but i still got about 100 lbs to go…you are amazing bro!

  • Firstly, thank you for all the information that you share. I am curious-you’ve stated in previous videos that patients can expect to loose around 2/3 of their excess weight. Is removal of loose skin after WLS figured into that weight loss? If not, are their any statistics as to how much the extra skin weighs?

  • I have numbness on my thigh because of spinal stenosis and I get the “itchiness” in that area a lot. You’re right, it’s so annoying because you scratch and scratch and just can’t relieve the feeling. I have a dry brush that I’ll run over it and that will sometimes help because the bristles are so stiff. Just make sure to moisturize afterward.

  • I haven’t lost any weight, I don’t plan on losing enough weight to have loose skin and I don’t plan on ever getting loose skin surgery.
    Why am I here

  • Zach….Ive seen your videos during my research in wanting a tummy tuck and chest surgery after 100+ lb weight loss. Ive worked out 6 days a week for 2 years, trying to mold my body into shape, but the skin just wouldn’t contract. I finally was able to have the surgery… I’m 5 days out. I was scared to look, and finally i had my partner take a picture. DUDE…I’m beyond pleased with the results! I wish i had the nerve to document my progress as you have, but I’m just pleased to finally join you in the ranks of guys who’ve made the move to better themselves! If you’re ever in Louisiana, get in touch with me and we can compare experiences!

  • I’ve lost 85lbs and counting with diet and exercise only, I have excess skin similar to you. I hope one day to be able to afford the surgery!! Thank you for this video it was helpful to me!

  • When I get down to the weight I need to get to I definitely want to get skin removal surgery it’s so great hearing from people like you and obesetobeast about it two different ends of the spectrum

  • Bro something am really! Really worried about is pennies size does it loose weight 2 am not trying to be gay or nun I just wonder cuz don’t want mine to go smaller

  • Thanks for sharing this! For a guy like me who is trying to lose weight I do worry about loose skin a bit so it is good to see the effects of loose skin and surgery

  • i love you and jordan very much because you encourage me to do the surgery after loss 155 pounds but i have aquestion is the swelling that happen after surgery is normal? and how long it take?? and another one do you like the new shape of your chest and the position of the nipple now or you feel that it can be better than that because after surgery my shape of chest and position of nipple be better but i feel it can be more better than now because i have alittle skin in my chest that not removed???

  • I am 312 lbs.. I am trying to lose weight, but I am terrified that I’ll have loose skin, and this surgery looked super painful… I wish I never got myself into this mess….:(

  • 280lbs! When I finished high school I was 154lbs. It’s amazing that he was so heavy, and even more amazing that he was strong enough to lose the weight. I can’t imagine how much will power this chap had to lose the weight and then to keep it off. It’s amazing.

  • I had limb salvage surgery 5 years ago to remove a malignant bone tumor from my hip. And I cannot feel any sensation In my skin at all. So when I mentally feel an itch there, I slap or punch that area. It makes the itch go away. Kind of odd. Someone walking around basically slapping their own ass.

  • timothy katzen did this i saw ur surgery vid on his channel and it’s a no no for me i will never go to him..hope u get ur body back to normal dude:)

  • I think the itch means that nerve endings are healing from surgery. My friend had a tummy tuck and her doc said that that can happen for a few years after surgery/trauma.

  • Thank you for sharing Zack! BTW you’re Instagram doesn’t work! Or it’s because of that Instagram was down or something Maybe you could look at it and see if you can do something about it Love you’re channel Zack!

  • I’ve had a tummy tuck and breast reduction with a lift and relate to this so much. I was feeling my numb areas with you lol but now my belly button is off centered and I hate it.

  • Thank you for sharing Zach!
There is so little out there from men my own age that your videos are a blessing.
Happy that you posted in general btw:)

  • Good to see you back. Great points that others might not have realized. The numbness part can drive you crazy. I’m going to surgeons now and they told me you can get dog ears around your hips. Now i know what they are talking about. Have a great weekend.

  • I had my wisdom teeth removed and experienced temporary nerve damage on my chin/jaw where I couldn’t feel anything for several months except the ITCHING. I would have to ice it with EXTREMELY cold ice packs to get the itching to go away.

  • I had a breast reduction. Same issues with numbness. I had weight distribution changes too. Instead of gaining in my chest I gain in my stomach. ☹️

  • Can you not get your belly button back? I hate mine it feels gross and I want to die when something touches it lol or is that weird?

  • Thanks for sharing. In five months I have lost 30 lbs so far. Still long why to go. When I am done I don’t think I will have my skin removed. My lose skin will only be in my lower belly. And at 53 age is sneaking up on me so I can live with some lose skin. You look great after the surgery. I had no idea there would be numbness or itchiness.

  • I have a numb spot on my leg from a car wreck and I get phantom itches a lot. SO IRRITATING! I can’t hit mine though because I have soft tissue damage and impact hurts like hell

  • Omg slapping the itchy spots is what I do too! My husband thinks I’m crazy but I feel like it gives me some relief ‍♀️? Idk maybe it’s a mental thing.

  • You could have fasted and skipped the surgery. I lost 200 pounds. I had very little loose skin and I am 65. I allowed autophagy to do its work. All I gave is a few syretcharks.
Dr. Berry has a video on it.

  • I am still getting feeling back in the skin from my belly button and below from my c-section and that surgery was 9.5 years ago!!! I get the itching too! It’s really irritating! (I think it’s the nerve endings trying to come back to life)

  • The last one was super interesting and for sure something I don’t think most people would expect. I think mine would go in to my upper arms

  • I just want to say you are beautiful. Be proud of your hard work and achievement. Also thank you for having the course to selflessly share with others for their benefit. Whom ever left those nast comments should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves, talk about ugly, hideous monters.

  • Super interesting video, all stuff i havent seen/heard before, especially the last one! Im recently dealing and loving the fact my damn head is shrinking hahaha. I can feel it when i tuck my hair behind my ears and such, i have a big giant head so im loving it lol

  • I dont know if you remember me we went to school together and my mom tawnnie use to work with your mom and u hung out with my sis shyanne roe I would love to do a interview with you ive lost 150 lbs I love your channel!!

  • I heard the itchy on a numb area is a sign that you may start getting feeling back. It did with my husband’s numbness on his face after surgery.

  • I lost over a 100 pounds, but unfortunately I can’t afford the skin surgery, especially now that i lost my job due to the pandemic.

If anyone could help me, i made a crowdfunding today: https://abacashi.com/p/skin-surgeryreparadoras

That’s the only way i can ever do the surgery, health insurance don’t cover non bariatric weight loss, and i don’t want to pass through my 20’s hating my body. Thx guys.

  • You inspired me to make my consultation today! I lost 110 pounds from 18-20 and I’m 21 now. I have a lot on my mid section because I carried all my weight there and its so burdensome to feel like you achieved something but to also feel so self conscious still. I’m ready to full transform and get this skin gone

  • I’m so sorry that people left you mean comments. You look beautiful and I find you very pretty. Plus the fact that you’re willing to help people by talking about your surgeries and weight loss journeys is extremely kind. I had gastric sleeve in order to lose weight because of a leg disability that prevents me from exercising. After I had my surgery someone told me that I took the “easy” way out. That comment hurt me because it’s certainly not the easy way out. I was in immense pain and had to change my entire life. People say mean things on the computer because it’s easy to hurt someone without seeing them in person and their emotions. It’s cowardly and cruel. You keep on being awesome and that lighthouse light for people like me who so desperately need to know that their emotions and feelings are valid and not alone. ♥️

  • Your loose skin is identical to mine right now, I had kept hoping it would shrink up by eating a ton of protein and having skin creams. But it’s been a year since I reached my goal no luck, your video is really pushing me to actually go get the surgery done ugh. Was around 300lbs from my mid teens till 33 years old, then in 20 months dropped to 165 and have stayed below 180 over a year now. Congrats on the weight loss, it was literally the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. Food is an addiction for sure so I’m so glad to see others fighting it!

  • Bruh I literally have less loose skin than what u have after your surgery. I want skin as tight as mcgregors without being at 200 pounds muscles. Does the surgery seriously not make it tighter?

  • I lost a total of 100 pounds and my highest weight was 260lb. It took me a total of 9 months to loose that weight after dieting and more exercise in my life. But unfortunately I too am left with a bunch of extra skin around different areas of my body and let me tell you it sucks! The feeling of accomplishment isn’t quiet there after losing so much and still not being happy with what you see in the mirror which is my lose skin. I hope to be able to get surgery as well in the future to help me gain a little more confidence in my self. Hoping for the best!

  • I’m starting my weight lose journey I weigh 245 but I really don’t show it but I am going to work hard to be like you man hope everything workouts for you.

  • Never feel shame, my friend. You have made amazing strides. The surgery for the loose skin is the icing on the cake . Hold your head high!!

  • I’m 15 and am worse then the weight you were, I’ve started working out and changed my diet and hopefully I can get this surgery when I’m down to a healthy weight

  • This helps me. I’m 12 turning 13 soon. My body image now kinda makes me feel down. And with skin removal really worries me. Seeing videos like this really help me. Thanks man

  • I’m 15 and I started to struggle with my weight since when I was 6 or 8 it all Started to happen because my family was a family that gave us are favorite things to eat and that was for everyone one in the family but they were active they went outside daily and played sports or went to the gym I on the other hand didn’t I’ve always felt better alone because I was always scared of expectations of what people would’ve think of me I try to play at some point and well after some time people started to not pick me in their teams I some times would’ve not be pick or the last picked for a team and when we were not playing we were doing bad things that I had to do as well cause I was scared of wat they were gonna think at some point I just stop going outside and from a then on I was always inside limiting my outside interaction playing video games all the time and even now I get really annoyed when I’m called when playing games or when someone calls me I don’t want to be like that it just started to happen naturally there’s a lot of problems I had going on when growing up that it will take forever to type it down I don’t really have a problem with girls cause I’m a smooth talker in a natural way and I have other skills that help me out I’m like 5-8 I use to be 5-9 and 5-10 with shoes but now I’m. 5-8 and 5-9 with shoes people told me I got shorter I’m pretty good looking and cause I’m fairly tall when I put close that are loose it hides my body which helps but now my body it is starting to hurt more and more each day I’m starting to get stretch marks I can’t go outside cause of this Corona virus guys can u please tell me wat i can do to loose this weight before it gets out of hand like for how long do I run how many times a day so when this corona virus is done I can really get started in my adventure if not I fear i may really die I’m starting to have liver issues not serious one I have like fat in their according to my doctor thank you for anyone who read this please feel free to tell me In the comments of ur story and ideas for my journey thanks u for everyone who took time of their day to read and stay safe bye

  • I wanna loose weight but the extra skin part just makes me hate the thought of loosing weight but I think ima go threw with it get it over wit when I’m still in the puberty process

  • Waste of money. He still has at least 20lbs of fat under that loose skin. My skin looked exactly the same as his. It hung over and everything. It didn’t tighten up until I weight trained for 2 years and got my body fat % extremely low like 7%. Stayed at 7-8% body fat for 6 months and it tightened up. But anything more than his loose skin you would need surgery. But he has the perfect amount he could have fixed naturally overtime through weight training and getting down to a really low body fat.

  • Woah. I’ve been searching the web… and when you look for these kind of things it’s like everyone has these extreme loose skin amounts and I’m here wondering… is it fat? Is it skin? Seeing this reassured me massively that it is skin! Some days after all the ab workouts that I do it looks and feels better so I’m still slightly unsure but glad I saw this in my recommendation it’s helped mentally!!

  • The sweater can go back to the same fit or smaller if you throw it in the dryer, you should of tried that first before paying for that surgery

  • Did it really change anything? I mean, insecurities are inside and as humans we tend to replace them along the way, they truly never vanish. I guess you needed to work on your psychlogical aspects before that surgery cuz you know, weight can always come back.

  • I have that itching too! Mine is from a C-Section but from my belly button down is numb and it been 7 years. You deceived that itching perfectly though and I haven’t heard many people talk about it!

  • Very good job my dear. You could have saved yourself time pain and money intermittent fasting for less than a year rather than having surgery.

  • Honestly, I lost 183 lbs in just over a year and while losing the weight did red-light therapy 6 times per week, 20 minutes per day. As a result, I have no excess skin, my skin has tightened. I also drink 4 L of water per day.

  • DUDE YES, the itching is the fucking WORST! I lost 157lbs and had skin removed from stomach, thighs, arms, and back. Still numb pretty much everywhere, and the fact that I will get an itch there, but have no way to satisfactorily scratch it kills me haha glad I’m not the only one with that problem
I also wonder if other peole have sensitivity over the scars even though they are numb. Like a friend will tickle me or grab my side and it will be tender or weird sore feeling, even though the area is numb…

  • Proud of this guy. I myself use to weigh 350 lbs standing at only 5’5, now I’m at 160 with a lot of lose skin… debating about skin removal. I’m very self conscious about it but looking at it everyday is a good reminder of where I’ve been and what I’ve been through. You only have one body, treat it well. The body always keeps score

  • Lost 11 stone myself, working out at home and making healthier choices food wise, went from a 46inch waist, down to a 30inch waist, only downside is I’ve got loose skin myself, and no doctors seem to be willing to help me.

  • Well this is true. I am 16 and I was 242lbs at 5 3 and over a year this Friday(03/13/2020) I will have lost 83lbs and I have loose skin and I don’t know how to not be insecure about it because I am proud of the weight I have lost but it’s hard to look at your self and see something you can’t fix unless you have surgery and I’d like to get surgery to fix it but it’s too expensive and I have the loose skin in my belly and right under my chest because I can see a clearly defined pectoral major but there is just a bit of loose skin that makes my chest look unnatural.

  • I had a tummy tuck too… some people disagree, they say be who you are, but if those things are not letting you be who you are and keeping you the past then go for it…

  • Don’t pay attention to rude comments. You shouldn’t even have wasted any time trying to explain yourself to those asswh****. They’re just sick haters, whoever they are. Leave the girl alone, Punk ass, losers!

  • I wish to god I can get this one day. Its been 5 years since I lost 160 pounds and all this time I have been justifying depression and anti social anxiety with my loose skin. I’m told I am very handsome but when it comes to any sort of intimacy or closeness I always have to explain myself and my story to any partner so they dont think I am just a really odd shaped fellow. Its been the main problem in my life whether I want to admit it or not… I finally had the courage to look up others results from this procedure and am left in shock and breathless at how I have allowed myself to stay living in this hell when modern medicine has a cure for it. This will be the year I get this life changing surgery. Oh god. I need this.

  • I want to say I think it was very nice for you to do all this and show your scar because a lot of people will want to do the same thing but they won’t know what to expect. I think it looks really good, they really knew what they were doing. Some people say well I want to leave my loose skin it’s like a trophy of what I’ve accomplished, why would you want to do that, look how good you could look.

  • I mean good for him…the main thing is to be healthy and be comfortable but damn see this is why everyone should always take care of themselves because this is wat u wave to deal with…yes he looks better now obviously but does he??? He will have to live with that huge dark ugly scar for the rest of his days. Smh, damn I feel for him. I do…well hes happy that’s all that matters. Good for u man you could have it worst than that 4:40

Hopefully ppl stop damaging themselves and just eat right. That way they dont have to live life all messed up on the inside and out.

  • This is amazing and exactly why the field of plastic surgery was created! To help those in need. I know it has improved her life immensely. Such a sweet family.

  • I NEED THIS. I HAVE LOOSE SKIN THATS CAUSING ME NOTHING BUT PAIN AND HEARTACHE. IM DISABLED AND ON FIXED INCOME. AND THIS FUCKING SPOILED AND INDULGED BITCH GETS IT??? UNACCEPTABLE

  • Someone with money please help me!!! I desperately need this. I’m disabled and on a fixed income. I have no family and none of my friends are financially able to help me. I seriously need my excess skin removed. I lost 238 pounds in the past 23 months and i feel like my whole weight loss journey has been in vain. My insurance denied it saying its cosmetic. Please I’m terribly desperate. I need help. I cant go on much longer like this.

  • GOD HATES ME!!! BURN IN HELL MANDA!!! YOU DID NOT DESERVE THAT SURGERY. I DO!!! MY LIFE HAS BEEN FILLED WITH NOTHING BUT HATRED AND LIES AND EMPTY PROMISES AND BROKEN DREAMS!!! YOU ARE EVIL AND NEED TO GAIN ALL YOUR WEIGHT BACK!!! DOESNT SOME YUMMY MCLARDOS OR DUNKIN DONUTS SOUND GOOD RIGHT NOW? CAUSE YOU SURE COULD USE IT. YOU SPOILED BITCH. NO ONE LOVES YOU! YOU ARE UGLY. NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE YOU. EVER!!! IF ANYONE INCLUDING YOUR FAMILY SAYS THEY LOVE YOU THEY ARE LYING!!! YOU ARE NOT LOVED MANDA NOR WILL YOU EVER BE!!! NOW GO COMFORT EAT!!! THATS ALL YOURE GOOD FOR

  • Congratulations on your surgery I hope it didn’t cost an arm and a leg no pun intended.. I’m curious when they pulled your skin down in the belly region to your scar did they have to pull up the skin that was below the scar? Or did you lose weight there from all the intense exercise you are doing? I have gained and lost weight before a few times This past time I was 293 The time before that I was 100 I’m sorry 269 pounds that’s 270 pounds,. And I lost all the weight I got down to 175 or even 170 I didn’t have any stretch marks or anything for that matter I just look like everybody else now this time I’m losing weight and I feel like there is some loose skin this time I wonder if I need to lift weights more to make it go away because that’s what I did before, I wonder because maybe I was too heavy for a longer period of time, Because I was only around 270 for about a year and a 1/2 Maybe 2 years tops. I.. Suffer from A spinal injury I used to be in a wheelchair now I walk with 2 canes The weight is coming off but I do need to walk more I’m not able to run of course It’s hard because I have no core strength people with spinal injuries lose the ability to have core strength, Just curious If you know anything about that period once again congratulations my friend and good luck to you in the future I guess you have some walking and leg exercises Due to do. You’re looking awesome friend and best of luck. Bob

I WILL NEVER BE HAPPY AGAIN UNTIL I GET WHAT I NEED. I HAVE LOST 225 POUNDS IN 21 MONTHS!!! I NEED THIS AND AS USUAL NOBODY SEEMS TO CARE WHAT I NEED. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING SINCE I WAS BORN. IF NO ONE HELPS ME I WILL DIE OF A BREAKDOWN. I REALLY WILL. BECAUSE I NEED THIS. I WILL NEVER BE HAPPY TILL I HAVE IT. • Thank you SO much for being so open and honest in your video about your ordeal! I have recently lost 80lbs (no surgery here either) and have been so depressed that I still thought my stomach looked fat…but it looks exactly like your before photo of your abdomen. It’s skin! That explains so much of why it doesn’t respond to toning and stuff. You’ve given me something I can now work towards doing to remove that skin and see my hidden results!

  • I SWEAR UNLESS ANYONE REPLIES THAT THEY CAN HELP ME I DONT WANT TO HEAR ONE SINGLE REPLY BECAUSE I WILL DIE OF A MASSIVE BREAKDOWN OF THE BODY AND MIND IF NO ONE HELPS ME

  • can I go to the hospital and ask for discards? Or rummage through their dumpster out back? Idk, I think it would be neat to collect human body parts.

  • I NEED THIS! I HAVE FOUGHT FOR SIX MONTHS AND NOTHING. I HAVE A SHIT TON OF EXCESS SKIN AFTER 225 POUNDS OF WEIGHT LOSS! THIS ISNT RIGHT. IM DISABLED AND ON FIXED INCOME. I NEED THIS AND THIS FUCKING BRAGGING BITCH GETS IT??? FUCK YOU AND DAMN YOU TO HELL FOR LIVING MY DREAM. I HOPE YOU’RE HAPPY YOU BRAGGING BITCH

  • This is my biggest concern being a former gym instructor and who qualified as a fitness instructor.
The key thing is to not let the bodyweight go up beyond a certain number. I think every family should be given a scale to keep track of their bodyweight. Surgery is not the answer, but preventing the weight from going up. One should be weighing themselves as soon as your in your teens.
Plenty of diet and exercise strategies can be placed to keep a person under a threshhold.

  • Please try using Palmer’s Coco butter oil for scars and tanning outside in the sun after you rub it on your skin it works.. got rid of all my stretch marks

  • you can also work out right eat offten (not alot in one time but every two hours and30 minutes) dont be laying and doing nothing be active NO RUNNING just get your heart racing and the stuff between the knee will go away and hurting for the rest of your life its not much info cause im high and eating so not fully on this but they are just spending all the money they worked hard for

  • Wow it’s crazy how much loose skin can take up space. Anyways, just wanted to thank you zach for sharing your experience I myself lost 120lbs and I recently began the process of getting a tummy tuck. since my belly right now looks a lot like yours before the operation it reassures me to see that most of it actually is loose skin and not that much fat. Thanks again for putting your video out there you look great

  • How tall are you, what was your all time highest weight and how much did you weigh at the time of your surgery? Do you have any idea what your body fat composition was when you had it done? I’m losing a lot of weight myself.

  • hey Zach my heaviest was 550lbs im now 350lbs ive lost 200lbs I need this surgery and im so scared I love watching your videos especially when you and john do them together I had gastric sleeve surgery 6 months ago

  • What did he say about the scars? Are they ever expected to go away? I can’t find anyone that talks about the recovery process of the scars.

  • I just wanna say that I won’t have loose skin since I was made skinny and now exercising, lifting, etc. I’m lucky I won’t need surgery for Loose skin but I was sorry for you. Crongrats surviving!

  • Thank you Zach for this inspiring Video I just booked my appointment with Dr Katzen thank you so much God Bless you bro Congratulations bro✊

  • Aye man I’m from hemet California and I moved when I was 16. I lived in the Valle vista area off palm street. What middle school did you go to? I went to Dartmouth. I didnt go to hemet high though I was home schooled lol. But you look familiar.

  • At what age this can be done? I’m 15 and I used to be overweight 5 years ago I loosed weight and got taller but my arms have extra skin and I’ve tried to do exercises to loose it but it still the same

  • The good thing is, you are a man. I am a woman (21) and skin removal before I have kids makes no sense (especially if it is a c section), so I’ll have to wait years before I can have the surgery and this absolutely sucks

  • Hi Zach! Could you please do a non-ad video about your surgery and educate us on how to pick a doctor and do financing for it? Thank you!

  • Lost over 100lbs.. so seeing this is refreshing. Saw you over on Jordans channel! I didn’t realize you lost so much weight.

    Congratulations! Very inspiring.

  • If you really really want to get rid of your scars you can try dermarolling. But I think your scars tell a story so I would not want to get rid of them.

  • great video.. i lost 100 so far and cant wait for the next 100 just scared for my skin.. you have helped so many people thank you. i wish my channel can help people too. thanks again.

  • Thanks for your video….I’m in the exact spot you were. I’m wanting to get the skin removal to be able to do all the things that you were also having issues with. I’ve been hesitant because it is very scary. Not so much for myself, but I have two young daughters that need thier mother, so yes, a lot of nerves. I think I’m ready to begin the whole process….hope my insurance will help with the cost! Thanks again!!

  • damn he is sooo hottt now totally unrecognisable!!!! reminds me of myself in my early 20s i got overweight about 240 lbs and got it down and maintained it at 140lbs

  • I’m in tears right now. Thank you so much for sharing this. I am scheduled for a panniculectomy in 28 days and I am nervous. You look great.

  • did you ever find out why,was it thyroid at all.I have thyroid issue.
I found how he decided to remove skin interesting.like drawing how he was going to remove it.one girls went wrong so she was lopsided it ended up being mutilation.why dont they remove more,is it because it loses elasticity permanently.he did really nice job,and did give you compression garments.my skin is lot worse than that I been 9stone and even extra pounds end up with terrible stretch marks.I usually stay same weight.did you try keto diet or was that not good.does skin reatach to flesh.?

  • Man this is what i dream about everyday. I used to weigh 403lbs and i went down to 180 to join the military and now i have to wear a sweat belt and compression clothing when i pt and especially when i do fitness tests. It can be a nightmare sometimes, bootcamp was especially the worse though. Sometimes i wonder if its even worth trying to be healthy and workout when i can never see it and always having to wear stuff to hold it tight for running.

  • Your procedure actually reminds me of my female-to-male double mastectomy surgery. That hurt like a motherf*cker but the pain was isolated only on the chest. I can’t imagine how it must have felt with the pain spread all over your torso.

I’ve got so much respect for you bro.

    Shalom
