  • I disagree… nuts are high in calories. People with weight issues have behavior problems. They don’t stop eating when they are full, so that does not matter.

  • I’ve snacked on nuts for the last year.  It’s done nothing for me, as far as I can tell.  Zero effect on appetite.  Zero effect on weight gain/loss (let’s be honest, gain).

    If you want to lose weight, you need to reduce intake and exercise more.  But most importantly you need self-control.  Boredom cannot be a thing. 

  • Nut is my favorite. I find no problem or side affect in taking a handful of fried nut a day. Rather it makes me feel sound & good. Everybody can try this natural food item. Besides do some regular exercises, at least walk an hour a day or 5 hours a week.

  • If you want to lose weight, exercise regularly (any form of physical exercise is fine, like playing soccer), track your calories and eat at a caloric deficit of a few hundred calories a day (one doughnut has a few hundred calories btw). If you don’t have a legitimate mental or genetic condition, it’s not that hard to lose weight.

    1) Eating frequently keeps your insulin levels high which prevents release of anabolic hormone, like HGH.
    2) You can delay your breakfast in the morning. When you’re hungry body starts to release epinephrine, that converts glycogen to glucose and hunger disappears. In that time HGH (human growth hormone) is released, which helps to burn fat. So, many researches claim different.

    There was a professor in the states who ate nothing but junk food like twinkies but made sure there was a slight caloric deficit and in two months of eating nothing but crap lost a significant amount of weight. It’s hard to cut a lot of calories quickly and that can cause some rubber-banding in terms of fat loss at low body fat percentages but overall the most important equation is simply calories consumed vs calories used. Caloric deficit is the biggest key to losing weight and exercise helps you maintain a reasonable deficit without starving all the time.

Firstly, doing so requires you to keep track of your calories to ensure that your in a caloric deficit. often people are to lazy to do so. secondly, humans always seek drastic change when they want to change something that is against their norm. for example, you have two tests to study for, but instead of doing proper scheduling you procrastinate and start till 1 in the morning. I would instead incorporate something such as ‘carb loading’ in which every one or two days you can eat all the carbs you want (not actually all you want but more than on the other days). On those days you exercise to help build muscle and lose fat. The non-carb days can be used as rest and healthy eating days. This cycle of ‘carbs’ and ‘no carbs’ prevents that metabolic decrease she mentioned. Then again, if you have the will power and time the way she mentioned could also work. but since you probably are looking for how to lose weight videos and have tried ‘everything’ you might as well try my recommended way. Keep in mind I’m no doctor or adult for that matter.

    You can lose weight. Simply eat at a calorie deficit and be patient, it’s how I lost 10kg in 3 months. I know it’s gonna be hard at the beginning, but overtime you will get used to it and it will become a daily routine.

    First, find out your maintenance calories by searching up a TDEE calculator.

    Then, minus 300-800 calories from your maintenance and eat that number of calories everyday. You are now at a caloric deficit.

    What you will need is a calorie counter app, my favorites are MyFitnessPal and LoseIt, they are all free to use.
    Get yourself a food and weight scale, you will be using these a lot so it’s okay to spend money on an accurate one.

    That’s it. That’s all you need to do. Keep doing this and surround yourself by people who support you and will encourage you in your journey. Count every single thing you eat, don’t cheat yourself. If you can add exercise, that will be useful especially to maintain your muscles but EXERCISE IS NOT NECESSARY FOR WEIGHT-LOSS, only changing your diet is.

A better explanation about how all this stuff works can be found by watching some of Jason Fung’s videos/interviews or by checking out the channel “What I’ve Learned”. If you change your diet and go to gym or run, ride bicycle etc. you are bound to loose weight, genetics will affect how fast and how much you will loose. Then you have to keep it up even if you are fit, because yo-yo effect is real:)

  • Girl I was skinny sis, but then over the school year I gained 30 pounds so… yeah time to change that(homeschool really messes you up man) ya girl is completely healthy but she ain’t tryna gain another 30 pounds ya know what I’m sayin?

  • Guys weight isnt always fat. It’s usually the muscle you gained. Which is what my parents keep on trying to do. I dont wanna get bulky, I wanna get slim! They try to make me run, bike (like more serious way), treadmill and stuff but what I wanna do is just take a walk in the park and bike around town for fun!

  • Ok my bro is 143 pounds and he’s 15 years old and he’s SKINNY and I’m 11 years old I weigh 114 pounds and IM FAT LIKE PLS EXPLAIN THIS >:(

  • If you want your kid to loose weight put them on a diet have them run a mile a day do 50 push-ups and 50 sit-ups a day, easy within in a few months they would have lost a decent amount of weight

  • I’m overweight and everyone in my family says I’m fine I know I’m not I’m 12 5”1,130 pounds and I’m super sure that’s not a healthy weight
