  • Great Video! I agree with mostly everything in this video. Being in a Caloric Deficit ✅ and the absolute most important key, is Diet ✅.
    However, as I’m not going to wholesomly disagree with your point on Targeting Fat Loss, I would like to tell a small anecdote;
    I was a personal trainer for 2 years (certainly not as long as most people). Over the course of those 2 years I had just over 50 clients I recruited. One could argue that I was lucky to have signed that many clients in that time frame. Anyways, both my head-trainer and I believed that it is indeed possible to target fat loss given that the proper fundamentals/objectives are met. Those are; 1) Be in a Caloric Deficit ✅ 2) Diet Must Be Kept Strict ✅ 3) Consistency in training is met with the desired fat loss area ✅. So my head-trainer and I made a little project; we both took 10 clients of ours, asked them “If you could target one area for fat loss, where would it be?” and put this theory to the test for 6-9 months.
    After 7 months, with being in a Caloric Deficit, Strict Diet and Consistency in Training; Most, (certainly not all) most of the clients achieved the fat loss in the desired area’s that they were each respectively Training/Dieting for.
    Now, am I saying that this will work for everyone? Absolutely not.
    Definitely not if those 3 key factors aren’t met. All I’m trying to say is that not everyone should just throw that logic out the window the moment someone tells them it’s bogus and it can’t be done, I beg to differ as “Targeting Fat Loss” has also worked on myself (Maintaining those 3 key factors).

  • I’m 16 years old i used to weigh 18 stone just in May 2015 I have lost nearly 70lbs nearly a third of my original weight, I decided I had enough of the way I looked, my confidence was low and I found I couldn’t keep up in PE ( yeah I’m still in school ). Something clicked inside me and I decided, I hated the way I was and I had to do something about it now as I am/was still young, and I wanted to have a healthy life growing up. I went for a walk one day around the area were I stay and I got back and I thought to myself ” I could get to like this” and each day I would go on this walk which is around 5-6 miles. I also realised to lose weight I had to really cut back on junk food, a really bad day for me could consist of me drinking maybe 3 energy drinks/ fizzy drinks and eating loads of chocolate and sugar. I used to have 6 spoons of sugar in my tea. I have completely cut it out now along with sugary stuff and high fat stuff. Iv lost 5 stone from diet and exercise, if I can you can too.

    Hey BFL, Just got my first compliment the other day on losing a belt hole a month for the last three months, from someone who didn’t know I was trying to lose some weight.

    Basically I am just following an 8: 16. I stopped buying a 2 Kg bag of sugar every month, and started using Apple Cider vinegar, lemon juice and taking Magnesium. This month I’ll start getting off the couch. (It has been a very late global warming spring here, but now the bike comes out again.)

    I only had lower belly fat and it is where the belt is.

  • When I was young, older guys warned me about bulking up. I didn’t listen and kept lifting heavy and got big. But then life happened and I was more concerned with my career and bills and the stress of it all. Once you are all bulked out and you stop, it all goes from muscle to fat. Now I am older and I can say, don’t bulk up, you are better off just getting cut.

  • Started on Monday and it’s currently Thursday, it’s working so far! The change is there, I also walk for 30 minutes to an hour and diet is key. Going to implement some push-ups and see how it works. Going to try to update you guys weekly, be blessed

  • Great vid as always mate. My moobs are still with me but have definitely got smaller. I started at 320, now down to 283 since 5th Feb. Still a long way to go to my goal (196) but I’m more focused on weight loss at the moment. I’m happy to lose fat from anywhere I can:-)

  • I’ve dropped from 298 to 235 so far and I’ve noticed that it has come off from every area at roughly the same rate but my gut had the most fat to begin with so it will take longer to disappear. Taking measurements helps you see that it’s shrinking.

  • Think of fat loss as a puddle of water drying up. The shallowest part dries first and the deepest part last. Fat loss usually works the same way For men most fat is concentrated the belly and chest so you will lose fat in those areas last.

    One thing that I have notice of late for me is not being able to eat enough. Let me explain. I have started intermittent fasting over the past few week and I am now on a 16:8 18:6 depending on the day. How would you go about hitting your calories when eating healthy when you already feel full? I don’t want to extend my eating window but also don’t want to end up eating under the calories I need to be eating. Thanks Josh.

  • this video has complete bull crap advice. How can you be an athlete and make up bullshit. If you have fat on your chest, working on your chest will not make your tits bigger, the muscle accumilates the fat converting the fat into muscle and spreading it around the chest. I use to weight 220 and 6 ft tall pure fat, now I’m 160 pure muscle, and I can tell you I had some big tits, working on my chest made me lose most the fat I had and converted it to mostly muscle, tits looked much smaller as soon as I focused on working my chest area, of course I still had fat but not as much as I had before. Just go ahead and work out on your chest area, it won’t make your chest bigger if you have fat, it’ll just make your chest actually have the muscle figure. What this guy sais is just a myth, surprised that he was even heavy himself.

Even though I know that you can’t target a specific area for fat loss, as I have struggled with the evil man boobs for most of my adult life, initially due to all of the steroids the doctors pumped into me from day 1 (birth) due to my extreme asthma issues. But then later as I got fatter, so did the boobs. Terrible things. A gym is my next step to boost my fat loss and shaping. Diet only gets you so far.

  • LMFAOOOOO to all the people who say they will update and give up eventually. this doesnt work. only way to get rid of man boobs is to exercise and follow a diet plan consistently.

  • Ofcourse we can target a particular region for fat loss, coz it did workout for me. Didn’t do any chest workout, just did abdomen exercise not for abs but for flat stomach and it did work. Just some sets of crunches, leg raises, leg wipers, side bridges and planks. If I did continue along with intense workout I might have got abs too. It’s just that it took nearly 45 days for major noticable changes. Ppl won’t push that long, they do hardly for 7-10 days and they give up. Just don’t eat food with added sugar in its ingredients.

  • 4 days in, this workout is great! Takes only 10mins a day and I can definitely see some improvements. Diet is really important too, I stopped eating sweets and crisps long time ago so it’s not a problem for me. I try to avoid having dinner, it’s a weird fasting diet that I’m trying out. I wonder, If I do it more often, I would burn more fat and finally reduce my man boobs and LH in a considered portion. Regards
