  • I just have to say weighing myself daily works for me because I know not to expect big changes.   • Just saw your video and your are really blessed to have figured this out at a young age. I started a journey about 4 years ago to change my lifestyle because, well when I bent over to tie my shoe there was something in my way and it was my stomach and I just couldn’t handle it anymore. It took me a long time to figure out what you did, but it is 100% right as I have followed the same path. I enjoy running now as my cardio and one thing about the cardio it has to be an elevated heart rate but not a max out heart rate, something in zone 2 or 3 so that the fat will come off. Diets are not the answer either, you have to change to eating things that are better for you and just commit long term, not 1 week or 2 weeks you will never see results in that short of period. But making those good lifestyle choice can get you heading in the right direction, then it becomes easier to make other changes later to fine tune the workouts or the diet.   • The best thing about Keto is that it’s incredibly easy to adjust to, unlike the poisonous plant diet. Eat plenty of meat and fat and you’ll be amazed at how much your appetite goes down. Within a couple of weeks I was only eating once a day (if at all that day) and fasting for 15+ hours. The fat melted off me. And no, I didn’t suffer from cravings, which also amazed me considering I have an imbalance and used to constantly crave sugar.
    Protein and fat significantly aids in rectifying insulin levels. I never felt hungry or any urges to eat. Cravings were easy to brush away. Meat is the way to go.

  • The keto diet is not a good approach to fat loss. It can only be used in the short term. Carbohydrates are the main source of fuel your cells will use to function as they are easy to break down. A diet with no carbs mean that your body will attack your fat storage which usually happens when the body is in a period of famine. Although this technique can be used in extreme cases when weight loss hasn’t been possible by other means or someone with diabetes requires to lower their carb intake, in the long run, high intake of fat can cause heart problems and many more problems including diarhea and loss of energy. You might also regain the weight you have lost in the end. If you are looking to loss weight drink lot of water (more than you can take), eat three meals a day with snacks in between (the more fuel you provide the less your body will feel the need to store some), stay away as much as possible from processed foods and eat from all food groups. Exercising 30 minutes a day can also help. If this approach fails and your health depends on weight loss, consult a nutritionist as they have the scientific background to assist you. Don’t follow those absurd weight loss shows. Not everything that makes you look good on the outside makes you healthy in the inside.

  • I started with exercise. That was humbling. After a few weeks you get used to being active and form the habit. You do get stronger, but the weight loss plateau is real. Eventually you realize you can’t outrun your diet and somethings got to give. I gave up unhealthy snacks first, then it was easier to just eat “clean and green”. Great video!

  • Okay….I love this absolutely. I especially liked when you called out people who massively plan and buy things instead of just starting. I have a co-worker who at the start of working remotely converted an extra bedroom into a home gym. He bought an elliptical and treadmill and weights and benches and on and on and on. While he was waiting for this to all arrive, I asked him what he was doing right then. The answer was “nothing”. I pointed out that if he would simply start with walking his dog once or twice a day that would be a good warm up while he waited. Nope. Now he has all his equipment but never mentions it. I suspect it’s a room that makes him feel guilty as he walks by it.

I’m 22 yo and I weighed my heaviest during this quarantine which is 88.9kg for 1.65m when I saw that I said enough is enough and I started intermittent fasting and completely changed the way I ate and damn I lost 8kg in ONE MONTH yep yep I started this July 5th and now it’s just past Agust 5th and i’m at 80kg I’m really happy with myself my goal is 65kh so I still have 15kg to lose! ����

  • I started keto 7 days ago and i instantly went for a 72 hour water fast, and i didnt really know if that was a good choice, because people usually just stop eating carbs but i instantly went to fasting. Ive lost 5kg in a week. So i feel like this was a successful diet. But still… damn, it was hard. Aiming for 4 weeks.

  • I literally tried the egg diet (keto) and lost about 2kg per week. Been doing it for 3 weeks and i lost6 to 7 kg+. My starting weight was 86.5 and now I’m 79.7kg (haven’t eaten for today yet). No exercise and no cheat day. The first 3 days, I was eating 3 eggs a day. But after that i eat 3-4 eggs a day. I always crave for something sweet but I got used to it. It feels good seeing my weight drop every single day.   • Its hard to find work outs that dont hurt my joints. I have E.D.S. You can look it up its a rare disorder that makes your joints hurts while doing active. And i cant find anything that works for me.   • Can you make a video about toxic body positivity? I feel like this “Everything has to happen out of pure love” thing is going too far. It is ok to feel neutral about one’s own body or even dislike it at times and be frustrated with it. In the fitness world now, it seems like people put a lot of blame on people who are frustrated and stuck and make them feel guilty for not “loving” themselves enough. I also think it is very much ok to kick off a weight loss journey because of a dislike/ not feeling good about one’s body. Of course, it shouldn’t get to a point of continuous self harm, but this pretending that only love will help and if you don’t love yourself it’s your own fault that you don’t lose the weight… it just really gets to me. It is also dismissive of several illnesses and no, no one has to love their body when in physical or mental pain because of it.

  • Your video is so uplifting, informal and to the point. I thank you for putting it out there. But I will say, carbs are good for ya. Just in moderation. It is what fuels our bodies too. And if you have an endomorph body type. Switching from low to med carbs every few days will help your metabolism BURN the extra fat off! Extra carbs makes the body want to burn what you’ve put in and gives energy to your body to do so. So when you eat larger amounts of carbs, it gives your body something to burn off. Then on the days you are on low carbs, your body goes to your fat storage for fuel because it didn’t get the carbs it did when you ate more, and it burns away at the fats stored because that’s where your metabolism goes for its energy. It’s called metabolism confusion. Pretty cool process if you wanted to read on it. PERFECT strategy for those of us who have a harder time losing the fat. Especially after having kids.

I find what you are saying about being dumb on keto very surprising because it wasn’t until I started keto that my brain became sharp, focused, and clear I would say 90% of the time. This little transformation in my body (no more inflammation) and brain (sharper with clearer thinking and I read faster than I ever have)is the main reason that I have stuck with the keto way of life.   • To all the young girls on here wanting to lose weight, know that what you feel and the thoughts in your head that it’s not just you we have all been there. Please don’t waste all of your junior high/ high school years obsessed with the idea you have to lose 40, 60, 100 pounds to feel confident. If working out makes you confident and then girl post those gym selfies but focus on loving yourself internally. We all struggle and want to look like that insta fit girl but just celebrate the little victories like losing 3 lbs or a pants size that’s still amazing girl! Get it you are doing amazing if you don’t lose 30 lbs in 30 days girl you are still crushing it if you are making the effort you are already ahead of many so keep going and love yourself at all weights. This may have went a few different directions but I saw so many girls down on themselves in the comments I just wanted to spread some love ❤️

    I did 1 week of keto lost 4kg but I just hated restricting myself so i’m in a calorie deficit now and doing the cardio program insanity max 30 at home.

  • Has anyone used the Custokebon Secrets to lost crazy amounts of weight? Just do a google search. On there you’ll find a great suggestions about how exactly you can lost a lot of fat. Why not give it a shot? perhaps it can work for you too.

  • My why is because I have a bunch of health issues and my doctors have said that if I lose a bunch of weight, most of them will possibly go away. I also want to love my body and feel more confident. So today I have started a water fast. I am starting with 7 days but might go longer. I’m not sure yet. I’m so excited. Wish me luck.
