  • I was fat thin several times in my life.
Before age 40 I never had loose skin. I was a size 16 and down to a 2/4.
I never had a problem with loose skin.
But as I age it’s harder to lose weight and keep my skin looking good.
    I’m 51 and wear a size 12.
I look great at size 7/8.
Age is cruel. Hormones do rage and zaps collagen.

  • Are you struggling with loose skin after losing a ton of weight? Or maybe you’ve seen it happen to one of your friend. It really sucks to have successfully lost fat only to be left with excess skin and not looking anywhere near your goal physique. Because so many people been asking about this I’ve put together a short guide on how to get rid of loose skin, these are solutions backed by research and experience that work. Enjoy, and as usual post your questions in the comments below! Talk to you soon! -Mario

  • Dealing with it now. My trainer has designed an abdominal program for me (upper, lower and obliques) which I perform every day. It seems to be helping, but progress is SLOW. Possibly due to my age. Thanks for your sensible advice. There is a cosmetic surgeon right next to the gym I workout at, and sometimes it just seems like it would be easier to go next door and have the problem fixed overnight. But do I trust them to do my body justice? Probably not. Of course diet, exercise and a healthy lifestyle are a better option, despite the hard work and the long wait for the desired results.

  • I love how real this video is! I could feel your emotion when you talked about being sensitive in regards to the topic. I will try this for my tummyThanks so much for sharing and for allowing us in to your personal emotional space much love and also very helpful ❤️

  • Organic edible Castor oil rubbed in to the skin can make a big difference I’ve heard. Also collagen promoting foods will help while losing weight and after.

  • There’s always something in this weight loss journey lol
I feel proud of my loose skin though; shows perseverance, character and the hard work I put in, and most important, the knowledge I’ve earned in the process that I could share with others.

  • As an RN for 40 yrs., let me tell you, she’s right. The explanation for no loose skin is simple, She’s Black.I don’t know the scientific reason, but black people have what I call “hard fat”.Caucasians have “soft fat”.Over the years being a nurse, I touched many different people, (bathing, taking pulses, etc)When you touch a black person, their skin is hard. When you touch a white person, they feel soft, even those whom work out.A 200 lb black woman feels hard, a 200 lb white woman feels soft, it is true.Dont ask me why.

  • you guys have got it all wrong…your only answer to getting in shape is really….BUILD MUSCLE AND PAD IT OUT…..nonsense..utter nonsense..
i have lost 30lbs…and ok the skin is a bit saggy…i just keep hydrated and keep putting cream on my saggy bits and eat real quality food..and slowly over 2 years or so i expect my skin to fully go back.

  • Am I way to fat for my age I’m 11 years old and 154pounds aka 11stone exactly does anyone please have any recommendations on any diet plans or something like that

  • Sister Friend. You did all of that!!!!!! Okay, now we see why you snapped back. Damn, I will just keep my loose skin. But you are Beautiful, and Thank you for sharing.

  • I’m 17 years old and i currently weigh 104 kilo’s. but i would say half of that is muscle. How will i know if i’ll have loose skin

  • I’ve learned more straight-forward wisdom within 2 minutes of this video than a lot of longer videos ive seen previously. Thank you so much.

  • I’ve heard when getting skin removal surgery that not only are the scars bad of course which wouldn’t bother me but some people never regain feeling in the areas of skin removal.:(

  • Lol I’m 22 and on your video trying to figure out how to get rid of my lose pouch. I had a baby and lost 68lbs and now all I have on the bottom of my belly is lose skin

  • I’m 5 10 175 pounds (I’ve lost 15 pounds) and I have stretch marks… I don’t have any loose skin but I’m expecting at least a bit

  • I started a vegan lifestyle change for better health and weight loss, I combine all natural herbs into my diet like Irish sea moss which has natural collagen plus minerals and vitamins our body needs plus I add it to my skin care.

  • Mario, hoping you see this still… I’m not sure that I’m under 10% yet as my scales body fat reader is completely unreliable, however I think I’m left with more loose skin than subcutaneous fat either way. Since 2017 I went from 240 to 160. I’ve maintained good lean mass and feel I look good and am not ashamed or embarrassed by loose skin as it’s quite honestly not that bad or noticeable anyhow even though I can grab a small handful at times depending on hydration perhaps.

At this point, I’ve been patient and been doing consistently ALL the tips mentioned in this video and then some. Omega 3, 10000iu VitD3, beef gelatin, creatine, apple cider vinegar, over a gallon of water daily, sleep might be my only slack. It has improved over the last 2 years since the largest part of the weight loss, but still there. Others probably can’t tell but it stares at me while in a plank haha. Anyhow, I have zero desire to ever do a mini tummy tuck or anything like that, but may I have gotten to a point where it’s as good as it gets, or will I see even more improvements by continuing my “patience” into year 3 as I build more lower and oblique abdominal muscle? Lol. That’s a lot of patience man!

What’s your top recommended method to test body fat%? Pony up the $ for a dexa?

  • I’ve been on this lifestyle change since March I’ve lost 23 pounds I’m exercising and eating better but the cellulite is so ugly what can I do about cellulite? Girl!! U look good!!! I know it was hard work! Congratulations you look fabulous!!!! Your skin glows!!!

  • So much people just go to fast and don’t diet or anything, if you have 70-100 lbs to loose and you just burn it all like that you can’t avoid it, tsk wit slow and diet is the best way to go

  • I lost 60 pounds in one month without loose skin, I was dating this girl and it motivated me to change myself and I was lovestruck so I did anything to lose weight. I worked out with intense cardio for a minimum of 1 hour a day and I basically starved myself and I think my body ate the loose skin since I wasn’t getting any proteins or minerals, the only down side to this was I got really sick and very fast like my immune system was constantly going off and I caught everything around me and I probably could’ve died tbh but good thing I didn’t.

  • You are very motivating to me. Have been struggling with getting back on my whole food plant base and watching this video has I believe really help me.

  • Congratulations on losing all the weight! My goal is also to lose 70 pounds. I currently weight 14st 12 pounds. I found your video while looking up loose skin. I have gained my weight very fast due to late miscarriage depression, I kept eating as if I was pregnant as if I was pregnant because I was In denial. Due to getting to 22 weeks pregnant and now having gained over 4 stone in 2 years, I am covered in stretch marks. Especially my tummy area, they are like huge red gouges out my skin. My tummy skin feels different, like its lost its elasticity. I’m afraid that when I lose weight it’s going to stay like that. I am currently on a diet of leafy greens, fruit veg, no carbs, and lean meats and fish.

  • I was fat all my life, and through diet and years I’ve lost around 100 pounds, and now the loose skin is clear and I will keep hitting the gym to build more mass in my arms, chest and legs, but in my abs the loose skin is way more and I’ll give about a year or so of different treatments, if I see improvement I won’t do the abdmomiplasty, otherwise I will…

  • 2 questions:1 creatine +antidepressant drugs is it safe?doctors 1 say yes 1 say no/ and just confused me
2:i sleep at noon 1hour maybe more and 5h at night what is your opinion about noon naps?
thanx keep up the good work
