  • i think our hypersensitivity to some foods comes not from these foods alone but all the other chemicals surrounding us constantly, which eff up our immune system. hundred years ago ppl where not so pandemically hyperallergenic to food because the living environment was clean. i think ppl who think they are allergic to this and that food also should consider what they wear, what cosmetics they use etc. everything in general makes ppl so weak, not the food alone

I am so tired of videos where all people make are salmon and green beans with rice or any other protein with rice lol.   • you can eat 5 kilos of konyakku jelly for 100 calories, it is a bit plain though so I recommend making it with a bit of stevia, which has 0 calories.

  • this video is assuming cals on foods, you can always look at the low cals food. Some bread is 70 cals per slice. It’s not always so high:) if you don’t check the cals in what you eat, realize that you most likely don’t eat to much that you gain a bunch. a pound is 3,700 cals (if I remember correctly)

  • The great English Breakfast is great.. but to be fair to it’s calorie value, most guys eating a whole Cooked Breakfast at 07 h 00 will most probably be working in physical jobs such as construction or other manual job, giving plenty of power to start the day, working out carrying heavy loads or going up and down steps all day in hot and cold climates. There is also a high chance this breakfast / meal is their only source of food for the day, as many don’t stop for a lunch break… so all in all not too bad

  • One small banana smeared with a teaspoon of peanut butter is 120 calories.
    You could substitute a single slice of whole grain bread for the banana.

  • For breakfast I make tomato and egg stir fry (1 medium tomato, 1 large egg, 1/8 cup water, 1tbs ketchup, 1tbs soy sauce 1tbs oyster sauce and 1/2tbs sugar) paired with 1 slice of wholemeal bread and a cup of whole milk:-)

  • I can’t do 1,500 I have to raise my metabolism to like 3k before I cut my calories to around 2,000 2,500 if I don’t I’ll seriously attack someone lol.

    Also, you can raise your metabolism without gaining weight, but it does require working out with weights which you said you weren’t doing so good on you for recognizing that haha.

  • Slightly ironic that the advert paying for my view of this video today was for Cadbury’s latest premium chocolate bar. I can’t get away from having dead calories thrust at me by advertisers, even on a video promoting healthy eating.

  • AT dinner, I would skip those mixed vegetables and substitute with Broccoli, green beans or cauliflower or a salad. There are healthier vegetables and lower carbs than the vegies shown for dinner and you can eat a lot more of them for dinner. I would move the almonds to a snack and substitute and could have some low calorie Greek yogurt with some fresh fruit or small baked potato. I am on a 1200 cal. a diet of healthier eating.  I do like your variations you do in your meals. NIce variety!!

    A monster salad with 30 baby tomatoes, 2 heads of lettuce, 4 carrots, and two onions is only 400 calories.
    A McDonald cheeseburger with an eight ounce glass of lemonade is also 400 calories.

  • I must have a problem with how i count my calories. I try to stick to 1300-1400 calories per day, but i tend to “overcount” like saying “it says 57 calories but I’ll just say it is 80 to be sure” so at the end of they day I eat waaaaaaaaay less than you but i have higher calories intake in the app I use to count my calories. Idk i just can’t trust the packaging or the serving sizes.

  • I’m Indian and I’m thin as frick-
    In actuall Indian curry i’ve never seen as much butter and fatty things as you describe, but it varies from state to state.
    (I’m from Tamil Nadu btw)

  • Fettuccine Alfredo is not an Italian dish, it exists only in other countries’ Italian restaurants, but not in Italy.
    And here a normal plate of pasta is between 300 and 500 calories depending on the sauce you use.
    You might find more elaborated plates in restaurants that can push those calories up to 800/1000.
    Normal plates at home are actually healthy.

    But don’t look at me I still have an eating disorder, I never have more than 65gr of pasta and my sauce is just vegetables and some tomato.
    I’ve been dealing with EDs for 8 years now, it’s like a roller coaster.
    At my lowest I reduced my calorie intake to 300/400 per day, and I do 4 to 7 hours of ballet, 5/7 days.
    Sometimes I’d also go running or do other kinds of physical exercises.
    Now I’m doing better in terms of weight (I was 38kg now I’m 49, but I’ve also been 32kg in the past which is kinda scary).
    Tho, inside my brain it’s always the same.
    Even harder because then I would just reduce the food and that’s it, but now I have to fight my brain like: forcing myself to eat while wanting to restrict.
    For certain periods of time I manage to hit those 1800/2000 calories I need, while these days I struggle to reach 1500/1600 and I have very bas anxiety with panic attacks every now and then.

    Sad truth is,not all the bodies are the same, and no matter how much I restrict or exercise, not even how low my weight is: I don’t look the way I eat.
    I’m not saying I’m fat, even if I see myself as fat.
    But I’m not as thin as I should be either.

    Anyways, this video made me even more anxious.
    Don’t get me wrong, I love your videos.

  • Your body has its own hunger and fullness cues, just listen to them and eat a balanced whole foods diet, but don’t forget to treat yourself once in a while, everything in moderation. Heaps of registered dietitians will say this, just think about before we knew what a calorie was, before there was junk food, there was far less obese people, because what you eat affects how much you eat.
