  • I suffer with migraines, I get at least one a week, probably closer to every other day. The doctors have said that exercise helps with this but whenever I work out even if for only ten minutes, it gives me a really bad headache. I was told that it was due to dehydration but I’ve been really conscious of my water intake and I don’t think that it is the issue. I don’t know what to do I want to be active and healthy but I get so dizzy and migraine-y after a workout it’s really difficult.   • Ive been in fitness most of my life. Im now 59, postpause and boy have things changed. I cant eat or exercise the way i use to, man i miss my body lol So ive been power walking, lean Quinine veg fruit etc, but goodness you cant hardly tell a difference! So went back to lifting weights, burned some body fat but it quickly stops! Grrrrrr its like, i didnt sign up for this lady!! Lol so im going to listen to this again and i will say this, i was a consultant for JC, yes its full of perserves, clients skin turned grey after awaile and they graved beef and were very afraid to get off the plan.   • I definitely belong to the second group. If I work out without eating beforehand I get sick (very dizzy + very nautious). Also, I have to have breakfast every single day before I do anything else. If I skip it, I always end up feeling miserable dizzy, nautious and with no energy whatsoever. Mainly this is the reason why I always schedule my workouts to the afternoon  evening hours, that works the best for me.

  • The first time your wife did this she did not burn 8 pounds of belly fat. Maybe 2 pounds max. The rest was water. Glycogen storage also holds water which is released when glycogen is depleted.

  • If someone with some time and way better math head than mine could rack up a comparison between your regular 5K jog (in say half an hour) calories burned versus same calories burned sprinting in 100m batches it would be nice.
    Or any other comparable distances / times, just threw those in there.
    Of course there’s the afterburn effect from HIIT style training and all that but a some kind of: “5K/30min jog is equal to 10x 100m sprints (approx 3-4 mins of running and double those times in getting back/rest for a total of 12 minutes)” would put things into a nice neat package for people.

  • A week sounds nicer, but from my own personal experience and research, 3-4 weeks is a much more realist time frame to fully recondition your body to efficiently use fat and ketones.
