  • Ashley “calories in calories out” is largely complete BS and complete nonsense. Your body doesn’t know anything about calories BUT it does understand what foods activate which hormones!

There’s a ton of different hormones that have effects on insulin and that is what matters.

  • I tried OMAD and gained 5 pounds. It was my fault. I ate dinner and ate anything I wanted as much as I wanted and didn’t count the calories. I had No idea how much I was eating calorie intake wise so I gained weight. I am now trying again and clean eating. I also downloaded a calorie app. Today My one meal was fish steamed veggies, and a small glass of red wine. It was 750 calories. Ive had more water than I care for. If this doesn’t work than I give up! I need to drop 30 pounds shit has gotten real!!!

  • I’ve never understood the concept of processed foods stalling weight loss but I’m going to have to test out that theory. Its an interesting thought but I just wonder how my body would react to processed foods versus no processed foods. Thank u for the info! It was SO very helpful!

  • I’ve been doing for about 2 full months now. The first 2 weeks I lost weight about a total of 10 pounds. But after that I have been at a stall for about 5-6 weeks and it’s been so frustrating. I feel better but the scale does not move. I do intermittent fasting and watch my carb intake. I usually eat 2-3 meals a days and maybe 1 snack. I don’t know why the scale won’t budge and it’s becoming really frustrating. Not sure if it’s because I need to go to the gym since all my life I’ve been active but stopped 6 months ago when I began my new job. Should I do a fast for a day or two? Please help I’m desperate.

  • I started doing IF about 7 weeks ago and slowly went from 16:8 to OMAD 3 weeks ago. I haven’t been losing weight the past 2 weeks… So how do I know how much calorie I need a day when I’m on OMAD, if I’m looking to lose weight?

  • Hello! I am OMAD for more than year. I have been gym around 250 times during this time and i have done cycling no less than 400 miles and also work very hard as my job is a Baker man and not work in a office. I have lost 5 kilos the first week when i started and then other 5 kilos within 14 months. I was 105 kilos and now i am 95. I am a 46 years old, Vegan for many years and my died the most days is very rich of carbs as i have many beans to get my daily protein. My daily intake calories are no more than 1500. The most days fasting 23-1. Some days during the year as the most humans may we get drunk and eating more sweets, pastries chocolates or junk foods but not happened very often and never more than intake 3 thousands calories in these little days included the holidays. However want to lost waist. The problem loosing weight in other part of my body like my head area, face, neck and that’s not very nice. I love OMAD and not believe never i stop this died because is the best. Can you help me please why can’t reduce my waist area. Can you help please. Thanks

  • I lost 51 pounds on Keto. I am now at 170 so a good weight and look great. I still want to lose 10 more pounds but really since March I have been stuck at 170. I go to 171 then 172 next day, day after that I go to 170 then back to 171, 172. Its crazy and I am very careful of what I eat. Just egg whites in the AM and a protein with a salad at night. Ride my bike for 10 miles a day and was going to the gym before Covid. Snacks are almonds and organic cheese. Really confused!

  • So does using the F Word add anything of substance to your video?
Answer No it does not. You come across as an *arrogant uneducated Jackass. Clean up your potty mouth.

  • I am 400 lbs and 6’8in tall. I am disabled and have a complete sedentary lifestyle because I cant walk. A dietitian said if I ate 2,500 cal or less I would lose weight
I was eating one meal 1000 cal and could not lose Weight. I found by eating more several times a day helped me lose weight. After drinking keto boost 4 190 calorie drinks every 2 hours per day I am burning weight off. OMAD does not work for me!

  • I think the easiest thing to do is to skip one day all together. That way if you fast one whole day of the week you create a 2000-3000cal deficit that week.

  • What your saying is making sense. I’m a 210lb woman at the moment. I WAS 222 April 27th, along with quitting drinking I started Omad to get back down to my healthy weight range. I’ve been stuck at 210 for the past week. The scale will not budge. At the same time I haven’t been Meticulously weighing my food at supper. So chicken and broccoli it is, i’ll keep cheat day as Sunday Funday but obviously still follow omad every day.

  • scale has not moved in forever since May/June 2018 was 181.9 now 175 (an only budged when i did eggs 3 days and beef & butter 1-2 days), ive been on many weightloss diets could this be a reason? my hormones? my age 62, my activity level?, thx going to broaden my fasting window of time.

  • I eat Omad and I haven’t lost any weight at all……. I just naturally eat omad. I’ve always been that way but since I’ve had kids I haven’t lost any of the weight… used to be 110 now I’m 144 and haven’t lost a single pound wtffffff do I do now

  • I am on week 3 of my keto way of eating and the scale is going down but I don’t see a difference yet. I do feel hungry less for sure. I really only feel hungry in the morning. I can’t wait to see the loss. I have been enjoying your videos on keto. You helped with my cheese taco shell lol. Do you have a bbq sauce recommendation?

  • I almost wanted to give up on keto.. in 1 month I lost only 5lbs.. now I am not loosing any pound..but, I lost 2 sizes in dress. Your video was very helpful.

  • Wow fuk me. I’m one week in and down 4.8kg or 9 pounds. Of course I’m taking walks keeping my steps up over 14,000 daily and a bit of short bursts of tae bo and other cardio videos on here. But 4.8kg in one week no idea if it’s fat or muscle that I’m losing but something is disappearing.

  • Don’t eat OMAD if you can’t eat the same normal dinner you’d eat on 3 meals if you can’t do that it’s better to eat 3 meals if you know you can’t control yourself when the eating window starts….for me I’m so hungry I eat everything in sight in 1 hour:'(

  • Been on OMAD for 2 weeks now. Lost about 17.6lbs(8kg). Even got stronger. I was stuck at 195kg in deadlift. I now just hit 205kg.
Note that I eat around dinner time. And I workout just before that.

  • Or….we can stop demonizing fat and shunning it for ‘lean steaks’ and ‘lean chicken breasts’ and actually eat good fats and meat high in fats. You will have no problems meeting your caloric requirements by upping your fats (they are 5 more calories per gram than protein and carbs), plus it keeps you satiated. When you are eating so many carbs, your blood sugar and insulin will be raised, your hunger hormones will be raging and you will be dying fasting for a 22-23 hour period. I finished my one meal at 3:30pm yesterday. It has been 19 hours since I have eaten and there are no hunger pangs whatsoever. My meal was chicken wings, raw veggies, cheddar cheese, a mixture of nuts and seeds and a coffee with coconut oil, butter and MCT oil in it. Probably about 1500 calories. I could barely finish it.

  • I lost 5 pounds this first week but 2 days have gone by and no weight loss. I am not eating a lot of calories at all, less than1000! I am going to hold strong but it is a little hard. I trust you all so I will keep working towards it. I am a little scared because we are going to Sacramento this next weekend to visit my daughter and I don’t want to fall off the diet.

  • I did 900kcal OMAD each day for 3 weeks and I gained weight. I dont know wtf. I was below 20g carbs too and no processed food except some salad dressing.

  • After just over 2 weeks I’m at a total Calorie defecit of about 20,000. I don’t eat garbage I eat clean and I follow my diet religiously. My carbs are all veggies, cauliflour and that “shit”, I keep my meat lean mostly fish, I count all my calories, I keep my protein high and I train 3 hours a day 4 times a week. 2hours weight lifting, and an hour of kickboxing. I weigh 265lbs My maintenance calories(without activity) are around 2400, with activity are over 3k and I eat 800-1400 calories a day in 1 meal after lifting. I weigh 2 pounds more than I did when I started. So….what exactly am I supposed to do now. I can’t cut any more carbs, I can’t increase my training, I can’t eat 3 meals a day without increasing my calorie intake significantly which would only make me gain weight faster. Where the hell do I go from here, because it feels like the only thing I can do is grind this bullshit till I drop dead or just gain weight.

  • I am a long time Keto user (2 years), lost about 70 pounds coming from a bodyweight of 286 pounds, which was extreme overweight of course. Yes the weightloss changed my life, but I am still about 40 pounds away of my personal ideal, healthy weight
Since half a year theres the Plateau. I´ve changed nothing in my diet, it just suddenly stopped.
I will try your tipps, or do you think that after a big weight loss its normal the body just says stop I need a break…?

  • i cant found a single video or a statement something about how many god damn calories you need to eat on omad to lose weight but staying healthy i meen goshhh ived been searching on the internet cant find nothing

i think its about 1900 calories but not sure can you help plz?????????

im 5 foot 10 180 pounds 31 years old moderate active

  • huh omad does way more than just skipping 2 more meals not interested in this video the language is not for me check out omad revolution folks

  • I haven’t plateaued but I have not lost at all! Been Keto and IF..for almost 1 year! What is going on?? I have lost.5 inches from my waist….but nothing is changing! I feel great but just not losing anything!!

  • I stalled untill i removed heavy creem, creme fraiche, proccessed meat and all sweeteners from my diet, no energy drinks at all. Now things are legit happening. Most of you know what you are doing wrong when stalling or gaining on keto, so stop doing it. And no you cant eat lindemans 90% cacao chokolad on keto, sure if you are thin and want to just mentain, but not if you want to lose.

  • I lost 15lbs in two weeks of OMAD. The first 3 days is hard, but I feel that the body adapts to it. My cheat 2 days in a week are with IF 16/8.

  • My experience w omad and plateaus was that occasionally if I ate more calories than my usual, it would push me back into weight loss. Or if I skipped a day of walking.

  • I did keto and it got me down 9 pounds. Then the weight loss just stopped. I’m just going to water fast till I hit my goal weight. These diets are all crap. Just quit eating

  • I’m so glad I found this video. I’m on week 3 and feel amazing but the scales aren’t moving! I lost so much in week 1 and quickly got discouraged when I didn’t lose in week 2.

  • 3 weeks of doing OMAD plus 45 minutes of weightlifting & 30 minutes cardio (5x a week) and here’s my progress:
    Starting Weight: 102kg
    Current Weight: 96kg
    Starting Waistline: 107cm
    Current Waistline: 101cm

  • Been watching your channel constantly, great info and tips! I wanted to get your thoughts on something.

I’ve been doing keto for about three weeks. But I’ve only lost about 4 pounds the first two weeks, and nothing since. I usually eat 15 net carbs a day, about 1250 calories, 108f fat and about 60g protein. My keto mojo says my blood keatones are at about 1.2

I feel great and love the diet overall, but I’m not sure why I’m not losing more weight? From my understanding, the initial part of the diet is when you loose the most, but I’m only at 4lbs three weeks in.

    Any thoughts/help? thanks!

  • Add intermittent fasting. Sometimes even sucking it and doing a 24 hour fast will kick you into high gear.
(Drink only water, tea and black coffee during this fast ONLY)

  • Why do you use a bot on LinkedIn, always asking the same question? I love the content you produce, but that is obviously a bot. Did u gain anything from it? Did u get new connections? And is it ethically correct to do it? Do you care about using a bot?
I’m a programmer myself too, and i understand automation is fkin cool, i get it. But coming from a channel called “bulldog mindset”, shouldn’t you be the one posting instead of a bot?
At least give the bot a few more sentences to write, the poor thing has like 10 phrases lol
Maybe LinkedIn isn’t worth it anymore for someone like you, maybe. But, if that’s the case, why do you still use a bot? Maybe you forgot to disable it.
Look man, i don’t know, I’m just curious.

Keep up the good work, love your videos. Been watching you for more than 5 years now.
    Love from Portugal ^^

  • Does a keto coffee in the morning mess up your fasting? I try to make sure I fast about 14 to 15 hours, but do have the coffee early when I wake up? Thank you for all this info

  • I can not trust the scale. Throw it out…unless you are also having body composition done. I know if I’m losing/gaining from how clothing fits. I’m 5’2″ and I’ve been 98lbs but skinny fat with around 22%body fat,, and I’ve been 120lbs and had 11% body fat (for a female that is hard to achieve). It is also very easy to over eat/go over board with calories on keto, especially if you are mentally use to eating large volumes of food. What I mean by this is, fats are calorically more dense per weight then other macros: per gram Protein contains 4 calories, carbohydrates contain 4 calories, and fats contain 9 calories. 2 TBS of natural peanutbutter has around 190 calories, as opposed to 2 medium bananas having the same calories approximately. Two swipes of the PB jar and you’re there… And no one stops at 2 unless it’s portioned out. I suggest portioning foods like nuts, seeds, cheese, creams, dairy etc as soon as you get home. Dollar Tree has small containers come in packs of 10 that hold 1/4 cup,. Serving generally of nuts. Also, get a food scale to measure your food, all your food. Track your food with an AP like Lose It, where you can set your daily gosls, and enter in your food BEFORE you eat it. You can plot out the entire day of eating before you eat. That way you already know where your macros are at. Hope that these pointers on top of Ashley’s help out

  • Question: if your not hungry at all why do people eat at all on keto? Theyre not doing it bc they want to put those nutriënts in their bodies so bad.

  • sweet potato, rice, not very good for someone who is pre, or diabetic! Don’t only give advice to normal people! So many people have a metabolisim disorder now a days, you should take this in consideration man!!

  • I’m on my second week and so far I’ve put 2 lbs on! The fast is actually pretty easy but it’s worrying I can’t lose any weight. Hopefully I haven’t fucked my metabolism or hormones up.

  • John, how would something like “reverse dieting” (where you slowly add calories back or reduce cardio to boost metabolism without gaining weight) fit in with OMAD or with the large amounts of cardio you do? With a reduced metabolism it’s harder to create caloric deficits. What’s your stance?

  • What if I’m already intermittent fasting 12-8, I’m 6’2″ 285 I’m at 1800 calories, my protein is around 110 fats 140. I’ve lost around 20lbs but now 2 weeks no weight loss. I sleep 8 hours no stress. The exercise is my only issue. Most gyms are closed and I don’t live in a ok to walk around neighborhood. Can anyone give me advice or pointers. I don’t do processed all home cooked, except the cheese of course. I test daily and my ketones are high to moderate every day

  • hey i had a specific question:OMAD is awesome i lost a lot of weight around 33kg or 73lbs but after 3 months or so the weight loss stagnated i tried decreasing my calories going KETO and i count my micro-nutrients and increasing my workout intensity but that lead to too much weakness.

  • Warrior diet is really good too:). I personally use this so i can get my preworkout and a shake in around 4 pm. Then i train around 6pm and have my proper meal around 8. It’s good if you cant get all your protein in one go, but not too wide of a window where its easy to over eat (like 16:8 is)

  • I went from a size 16 to a size 8. I lost 45 (very slowly) it took a year! Then after being stalked for over months I had a very few cheat days from SeptemberDecember and started having drinks with my husband on the weekends. I rapidly gained 20 lbs Back!!! What’s odd is.. my clothes still fit the same. Maybe a couple of pairs of pants are a little tighter. Do back to strict keto I went in December. Nothing has changed! It’s now May. I’ve tried everything.. exercising.. not exercising… macro tracking.. forgetting macros and eating when I’m hungry.. keytones for 40 days (no change)… the scale is not moving… my size is not moving… I’m desperate and will try anything.. I don’t want to leave keto but I’m 10 lbs heavier than I was last year and I want this weight off. Thank lease let me know if you can think of anything to help me.

  • I never saw Joe Rogan talk about Carnivore either. Just went Carnivore the last two weeks and lost 8 lbs and feel less pain in my hip. Love this way of eating. Keto didn’t work for me. Carnivore is zero carbs. They are not the same. I had a rash on my stomach too and it wouldn’t go away.

  • She is right when I started the keto diet I weighed 230 pounds im down to 220 on my first week. On that week going to week 2 im been doing weights a lot, i feel energized my abs are starting to show i just feel great overall but I weighed my self the second week im 218 pounds. Felt a little discouraged but like she says im going to throw that out of the window because i feel amazing, i feel strong and my body starting to show muscle all while im still in ketosis. I will try interminent fasting maybe thats what i need! Love this lady

  • I dont understand, I mean you skip 700kal for breakfast & then lunch, but instead you eat 2100 kcal at dinner, whats the point….. you should have said like 1500 kcal in dinner instead of 700 or 2100, specifically all those stuff like chicken or anything of low kcal that would easily make you full. Moreover you seem to have an anxiety outburst at your delivery, along with misinforming. You need to practice as anxiety is not convincing…

  • How are people getting in high fat with not increasing too much protein? Is the trick to just add olive or avocodo oil, ghee, mct oil, heavy whipping cream to your meal?

  • I can’t do OMAD, it makes me feel like crap not eating all day, so I just eat moderately and eat smaller portions, this way I still have good energy

  • if you are truly doing OMAD, eating in less than a 4 hour window you will absolutely lose weight without fail. It usually takes the body around 90 days to adjust.

  • I’ve been on keto for a week now, I’ve heard nothing but how the first few weeks the weight just falls off… thats not whats happening for me. I’m so frustrated! i know its only week one but i thought i would see a little more of a drop than the like 1 lbs. i was down to 191 then this morning I’m up at 192. i started at about 193.5/194.. i also have only really experienced head aches, nothing else like the veto flu.. am i doing something wrong? help!

  • ive been on a strict 1300 kcal keto omad (%75/20/5 with max 20 g of carbs, all from salad) for 1 month, and the weight is barely coming off. It should be melting off and its fucking infuriating.

  • Wow! You are so inspirational! I truly don’t know if I’d be able to stick to this diet if I didn’t find your videos. It helps me relax, and reassures me that I am on track and don’t need to stress. Thank you!

  • Jane Sparrow
I’m stalling after losing 1 stone / (14lbs) in 2 weeks. What I dont understand is intermittent fasting, which I understand is a day without food, when on the other hand your told to eat more? Can you explain please, many thanks. X

  • Thank-you for this advice. I started intermittent fasting with Every Other Day Diet by Krista Varaday almost 2 years ago. (March 1, 2018).
I lost about 20 lbs in four months. (190 to 170). Then my weight began going back up and has plateaued at 182 lbs. I’m fasting for 16-18 hrs Mon, Tues, Wed and Thursday. Then I eat 2-3 meals a day FRI, Sat & Sunday. During those days I log my food keeping my carbs below 80 grams/day and calories about 1800 or less. My weight has stayed between 182-185 for the last 18 months. I’m ready to try something different but I’m in the intermittent fasting habit. I would feel like I gave up & failed if I stopped. So I needed and appreciated your encouraging video!

  • 10 days on keto, and every time takes me longer to get into ketosis..zero kg lost so far.. i have a huge problem with portion control ☹

  • I’ve recently started eating one meal a day not by design but by necessity and I’ve been losing weight consistently. However I’ve also been working out a lot more recently as well.

  • Hi Ashley, I was just wondering if drinking heavy cream in my coffee would break my fast. I’m not eating any food for breakfast, but I don’t like black coffee, and let’s face it, life isn’t worth living if I can’t have my coffee in the morning. I’m asking because I’ve been eating “keto” for 13 weeks now, and my body is really struggling to get into ketosis. Could this be why?

  • Um, you know like um you know, um like. OMG this Stupid Stupid interviewer with her LAZY tone and that irritable high pitch. Like nails screeching on a chalkboard. Um like, you know, awesome. Learn to speak—YOU are Way too old to talk like an ignorant teen. Um Ummm! So um!
    Enough with Stupid.

  • Hi Ashley can you do video for postpartum and keto diet. I want start Keto diet right after baby. I don’t want go back to coffee as I stoped in first trimester. Should I add butter and cream to my tea in the morning. Also you said eat breakfast late I think you said 12pm how should I do this while breastfeeding? Thanks hun

  • I was on keto for two weeks and didn’t lose weight and I used the test strips to make sure i was in ketosis. Turns out i was extremely constipated and didn’t realize until it got really bad. Once I got that worked out the weight fell off

  • Good tips. I hate counting calories and using scales for certain foods that don’t have labels, but I found if it’s just for one meal a day it’s a lot easier. I read in Arnold Schwarzenegger book it’s good to do similar to what you’re saying if you save up calories and eat more on other days it keeps your metabolism ramped up from the high calorie days. So if you have 3,000 calorie maintenance and on your diet calories are having 2,000 a day have 1,400 for two days then on the 3rd day have 3,400 for a net of 2,000 a day. Once you plateau then decrease the calories to say 1800 a day or increase activity.

  • I love your last sentence. You said, “You didn’t gain weight overnight….. and you won’t lose weight overnight”. Thank You for the positive reinforcement.

  • Hi Ashley! I am on my 4the week coming up to my 5the week on Sunday. And so far have only lost 10lbs. Is this a good weight loss for my 4 weeks into it?

  • My weigth was 200pounds yesterday, and I fasted for 24 hours (OMAD) and ate only 900kcal, then waited 12 hours fasting before weighing again, my weight was 203pounds. How is that possible? I gained 3pounds with 36 hours fasting. Must have been that I had too much carbs from veggies. My meal was 800kcal minced beef meat, 100kcal tomatoes, unions, cabbage. Its quite strange, where did my weight come from?

  • I lost 24 pounds in 45 days with keto and exercise, is that ok or should I minimize my calories?
I still need to lose 28 pounds:)

  • I can’t stand chicken and beef so for my protein, I am relying solely on eggs. I eat 5 a day on my OMAD. Are the protein in my 5 eggs keeping me out of ketosis?

  • I’m losing inches I weight myself and I still weight the same but everything fits me big I’m a small and now I’m xs but I still weight the same

  • I’m stalling after losing 1 stone / (14lbs) in 2 weeks. What I dont understand is intermittent fasting, whodunit understand is a day without food, when on the other hand your told to eat more? Can you explain please, many thanks. X

  • Lol you just have to eat High protein and low carb foods. Cut the carbs. Working out while doing this will speed up the process. Keto diet gents.

  • Hi I been 16 hour fasting for 12 days one MEAL n a gallon of water n haven’t seen any resultsso by seeing n hearing your video the trick is I have to automatically skip breakfast n lunch every day instead counting 16 hours? Plz let me know so I can change it around course rite my eating hours are everywhere just one meal thank you Excellent video I joined yur channel❤

  • Started omad 2 weeks ago and people are actually starting to notice the weight drop. For one hour in every 24 hour period I will eat whatever I want, but always include fruit and vegetables. Water water water! The results are quick. Self control…..self control!

  • Been doing keto for 3 weeks and I haven’t lost any weight not 1 pound, i feel so much more energetic and I didn’t really went thru the keto flu so I am not sure if I doing this correctly, i test ketones with the strip and it is not a dark color but there is a color change, i haven’t lost inches either and I am doing IF and I am not sure what is wrong.
I count macros and calories, I try not to obsess over this because I know I’ll get discouraged but it does frustrate me.
    Any advice?

  • I been on Keto for almost a year and i only lose 20 pounds. I’m been stuck at the same weight for 7 monts. I been trying new macro etc.. and i still cannot not lose weight:( Maybe my macro is not good, maybe i eat too much calorie or fat…:( How do i know if my macro are right…???

  • I eat 3 meals per day. I’m 6’5″ and 255. My goal is 240. It’s taken me all year to lose 13 pounds. I typically eat less than 3000 cals a day. I some times drop to 2000. I train 6 days a week boxing, basketball, and weights 1.5-2 hrs a day. I’m not sure this diet is for everyone. It just won’t come off. I went to Vegas for a week and didn’t cheat once. I even dropped 1 of my meals and just had coffee to look better at the pool. I’ve never once been able to get in Ketosis.

  • Thank you! That gives me hope i gotta stay off scale. Im on my 3rd week lost 3lbs feel great but thought i would have lost more by now Will take your advice

  • I’m a pretty healthy eater to begin with and don’t eat sweets and didn’t really eat fat or carbs. I just started the keto diet 2 weeks ago and I have gained weight. Any suggestions?

  • Ive done intermittent fasting since Jan 1st with keto but started OMAD over a week ago and FINALLY had a whoosh! Weight loss baby! Woot woot.

  • I already commented on the video it self, but I feel like I should comment it here: Your high school videos were freaking fire. I don’t know… something about it just opened the closed doors of my mind to realize what is possible is we push not at 100% but at freaking 200%. And it wasn’t empty motivation either and that is quite a rare sight to find! So thanks Jon!

  • So true about the scale Ashley…I know I’m losing in the mid section because my shirts are getting looser & pulling workout pants up higher over my stomach. So yes, the scale is indeed sometimes the enemy!!!

  • I agree that intermittent fasting is key to breaking a stall. Also, a slow-down in weight loss is normal and does not mean you’re stalling. If it’s a small weight loss, that’s fine. This is a lifelong way of eating and not a speed race. I respectfully disagree that “calories matter”. See Dr. Ken D. Berry’s video about calories…he says calories are meaningless! Your body cannot store fat without insulin spikes. If you’re keeping carbs below 20 net grams and intermittent fasting, and do not eat more than 1 to 3 times per day (2 meals, 1 snack or less), you will continue to burn body fat for fuel. Dietary fat will not cause you to stall or gain weight. If you’re calorie restricting, you will lose weight, but you aren’t doing keto and you won’t be able to sustain that over your whole life. You’ll gain it all back!!! And then some!!!

  • Thanks Ashley, my name is Bri I’m 28, ve head littlw about keto then saw “the magic pill” on netflix one morning & that day started. Really ive been doing low carb but not strict. Its day 3 I feel nauseous but I’m pushing through. I have watched a lot of your videos & listen @ work to your videos. Trying to retain everything you talk about. I’m very interested in the punch drink not sure if I want all the caffiene I dont like a lot of caffiene on top of coffee unless its not overwhelming b or you think its super helpful. Well im very excited to see progress & keep going. You give me a lot of motivation. I’m turning my daughter onto this with me however slowly. I want to wean her on.

  • How many days do you recommend fasting. I’ve been fasting for 2 weeks since I’ve started the keto, I am in 100% ketosis I really don’t feel hungry throughout the day, I have lost 13 pounds.. And doing 2 miles of cardio…but my weight loss has stop..

  • Totally vibbing with you! Just found your channel! Can you do a mental aspect of how keto has been so successful for you and what your resources were when you first started the keto diet pretty please!

  • My advice is “listen to your body”
Try the omad for let’s say 15 days or more,if you are not dropping weight then do 2mad

  • Thanks for the video. I am at this point currently, plateaued with weight after 5 weeks. I did a fat fast, but only lost 3.8 lbs the 3 days. I do intermitten fast too, 16/8. Can I ask did you take the exogenous ketones while breastfeeding? My daughter is 13 months old, she is pretty much on whole milk expect at night she will feed. Would it be ok for me to take exogenous ketones? I have been really wanting to try it once a day.

  • Hello on for 2 weeks only lost 1 lb is that normal.. I thought I would have lost at-least 5 lbs. I don’t want to get discouraged…..any ideas.?

  • I found nut butters and almond flour stall me out. I occasionally “trick” my metabolism and go off Keto just a little bit for one day, or I’ll go the other way and go totally Carnivore for a day I’ll eat hamburger & egg/cheese omelet for one day. And processed foods will definitely stall you out. Also yesterday I decided to cheat a little bit and got Chick-Fil-a grilled nuggets and Cobb Salad w/grilled chicken. It took my sugars off the charts. Then I looked up the ingredients and there’s tons of sugars used in their grilled chicken ie fruit juices. That’s not good. I also noticed today that my sweat smelled like vinegar that’s an indication of sugars being metabolized. So, processed foods are NOT GOOD! I’m 59, 5’11”, 186lbs. Non-Drinker/Non-Smoker. Two years ago I was 321lbs that’s a 135lb loss. I HAD to lose weight. I was at first diagnosed with a Severe Fatty Liver, then Hemochromatosis which deposited iron in my liver and joints. I still have severe joint pain, but my energy levels are coming back. I take 500mg of Choline & 525mg of Milk Thistle to regenerate my liver. I have now been diagnosed with a Mildly Fatty Liver. It takes time to cure Fatty Liver disease. Get an ultrasound or MRI and check to see if you have Fatty Liver Disease if you have a gut, I’ll bet you have Fatty Liver Disease. Your liver enzymes in a blood test won’t necessarily indicate a Fatty Liver until it’s too late and cirrhosis sets in. If Cirrhosis sets in, you’re done. You’ll need a liver transplant. So, get away from eating carbs and sugars, or you’ll be on a transplant list.

  • Great advice about the calories! Many great fat have a huge amount of calories so it really helps to keep an eye on it until you memorize macros. “Lose It” is a great app (not sponsored by Under Armour:) to track your foods for free. They have a huge foods list. Also about not watching the scale. I literally fell into the exact bad habits you were talking about when I have felt defeated and have been trying so hard and this is super encouraging!!! Thank you Ashley!!! Another great video:)

  • Thank you!! I’ve been stuck in a weight loss plateau for a while now and I really feel like this will help!! I’m really glad I found your channel! I was looking for weight loss inspiration and I found it! I’m subscribing! I can’t wait for more content!!

  • I’ve been on keto (been on it many times before) since the beginning of the month. Doing intermittent fasting as well. So I should only drink black coffee during the fast? I usually add 2tbsp of half and half but that might be breaking my fast?
I have to cook for my family so I have to eat when they eat but I try to keep in an 8hour window but I should also cut the “sugar free” snacks and heavy cream, but could I have them like once a week or something? I feel it’s hard to cook two meals when I have to make dinner for my family (I also don’t have time to meal prep just for me because of my family). Idk I just want to lose weight ahh

  • Hi Ashley my name is brenda I take 2 pills a day of keto 30 min before 3 meals a day lots water it’s been 3 weeks havnt lots any weight what am I doing wrong thanks

  • Let me tell you, first of all, you look stunning!!
Second of all, this was the best video I’ve watched about plateau!
I am kinda new on the Keto diet and was so happy with my initial weighted loss (16 pounds in 1month), then I hit a plateau and started getting frustrated. I’ve seen a lot of videos about it and none really helped.
    Thank you for your tips!!
I’m gonna start doing just what you’ve said.

  • I wish I had known about keto and carnivore back in 2008. I got diagnosed in 2006 with bipolar 2, and I resisted going on medication for a year or 2. I can’t quite recall the exact timeline. I thought I needed to be vegan in order to be healthy. Anyway, in 2007 or 2008 I finally caved and went on an antipsychotic medication. I was already on a sleeping pill and an antidepressant at that time. If I had heard how carnivore could help people with bipolar disorder and depression, I would have tried it back then. Now I am on high doses of 2 antidepressants and an antipsychotic, and I gained 103 lbs since starting that medication. I am keto right now, but on Sept. 1st I’m starting strict carnivore with no dairy, because dairy seems to make me chronically congested and I have chronic post nasal drip.
