  • “no snacks” vs. “not overeat” is difficult.
If you don’t have a full meal, you tend to need a snack 4 hours later. You have to be really satisfied without overeating not to get a hunger attack before the next meal.

  • I can do intermittent fasting. That’s not a problem as I do it all the time. My issue is getting enough sleep. I’ve really got to conquer that hurdle. Thanks for the video! It was enlightening.

  • Can I ask about nightshift working. I have a low carb breakfast when I come home. I sleep until around 4pm. I usually don’t feel that hungry then but I do have a meal, usually meat and veg before leaving for work at 7. I don’t eat at work and I usually have a really busy shift. Is this classed as fasting or not.

  • Can I do intermittent fating if I have insulin resistance? I actually had been fasting 14/15 hours accidentally this past week and I’ve been stuck with the same scale number I had been doing cheat days like once a week where I eat like 500 calories more than my normal diet up to 800 calories more, and don’t exercise that day, I’m I doing something wrong?

  • I became so thrilled to try the diet routine. My very own eating habits as well as my consistency of few work outs was not modified and change. Over a period of a month, I shed about 6 lbs. With the help of this procedure, I did realize that I ate less and filled up quicker. Google should help you to research it. weight’s name is below.

  • I am new here, just subscribed. I am trying to start a plant based diet. I stop eating red meats, eggs and most dairy. But it is hard when my 2 adult son’s eat differently. But I am really do this to lose weight and get healthier.

  • To answer your question, doctor, I’d like to work on finding out morexhow to use my hormones to lose weight being sixty and with multiple health challenges and a limited budget, fixed income.

  • This is great but I would add the point that different body weights require different amounts of calories per day. That and the amount of exercise you do factors into how much food you need to eat each day. Then to get fat loss without too much muscle loss, you should target a 25% reduction in overall calories (from your maintenance amount, NOT what you’re currently eating).

  • Muslims fast one month out of twelve, that’s the minimum. The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also fasted twice a week. Other healthy habits like brushing our teeth is also considered virtuous in Islam. Most observing Muslims copy the prophet in brushing their teeth 5 times a day. If you consider how much ill health has been caused to the human race by poor dental hygiene, you can appreciate the religious emphasis on cleaning our teeth.

  • Sir, youre helping us a lot with your videos n humble thanks for that. Please make video on best of the best full body warm up that i can follow everyday. I recently had to stop home workout for more than a week due to very less knowledge on how to get all muscles warmed up before doing push ups, burpees or bodyweight squats etc n this caused me knee pain. Please include three muscles area in the video. Leg/knee muscles, chest muscles n shoulder muscles. This is where i or probably many get hurt sometimes while doing fat loss workout at home.

  • I’m a Muslim. And I love Ramadan. Fasting 17/18 hours each day during Ramadan month. Everyone thinks we struggle but really and truly we enjoy it so much. By the end of it we are so energetic and healthy(if you have a good diet).

  • 200 hundres years ago there wasn’t any junkfood or sweets they taste good, but they are loaded with calories and some people just can’t control themselves

  • I became so fired up to try the dietary regimen. My very own eating routine and my consistency of few exercises was not altered and change. In just a short period of 30 days, I already lost 6 lbs. The tactic has allow me to ate lesser and becoming full is a lot a lot quicker. Find a right guide is not easy, you can research on Google. Guide’s name is under.

  • Good video
I am a vegetarian since birth
I suggest u have a picture or video of these foods rather than just talking about it. Makes a better impact.

  • It’s important to mention that when you talk high fat, low carb diet and say “low insulin” you actually should be saying normal insulin.

  • Dr Pls pls reply. I am 50yr old. In perfect shape and health. I was never fat or obese. I was eating everything and anything I wanted without any wt issues. Now my problem is this that my blood sugar spikes upto 180 to 200 after my regular meals but my fasting is mostly below 100. To overcome the spikes I shifted to a low carb diet but I am already slim and by eating low carb diet I started to quickly loose wt. I don’t need to loose wt. From the last thirty years my wt gain was maximum 8pounds and then back. I want control my blood sugar spikes but don’t want to loose wt as I am already thin. Kindly advise

  • Yes, I too am guilty of jumping from diet plan to others as well, I think that I need to have tried every weight-loss program that was available, however in the end not one of them made it easier for me to reduce and keep the weight off. I ended up trying for the very last time with the Custokebon Secrets mainly because my friend who told me unbelivable things about it and so far to date I’ve effectively lost 15 pounds within 3 weeks!

  • Greetings from New England in the United States! Your material is so well put together! I’m very selective who I listen to, and I look forward to your video teaching! I’m morbidly obese due to ignorance, medications and undiagnosrd hypothyroid for who knows how long. I’ve just lost 35 lbs in 5 months and many inches. Thank you for your informative and inspirational broadcasts
Stay healthy, safe & God bless you!

  • Great information. I am vegan and always have these staple foods in my house. I became vegan for health reasons and because I love animals.

    britty

  • Fasting = Starving.
    Of course you’ll lose weight.
If my family sees me eat only once a day, they’ll think I’m malnutrition and have a eating disorder.

  • Thank you for this valuable information. I’m someone who has succeeded in losing weight, but never completely was able to shred my fat and abused caffeine products to boost my metabolism, only to then crash later and gain all of my weight back again over and over. I’m now trying a totally different approach at age 32.. I am going more keto/whole real foods and cutting out all of the protein snacks and artificial foods i was eating. I’m going to try fasting at least 8 hours a day to see if that helps lower my insulin levels. My whole life i wish i understood how insulin worked. I would have never eaten the foods that were holding me back the entire time.

  • I turned began for health. My 4 year old daughter switched after watching Bambi. For a family of 4 we spend about 200-300$ a month of groceries.

  • Are usually about 7 o’clock in the evening and sometimes I don’t eat before 2 o’clock next day but mostly around 1 o’clock the next day I’ll take my breakfast

  • Diet Plan known as Custokebon Secrets kept showing up here on a lot of youtube videos and I thought they were scams. However after my cousin follow it, and finally lost crazy amounts of weight by using it without starving herself. I’m persuaded. Do not take my word for it, search for Custokebon Secrets on google.

  • Great delivery on this subject! Weight training offers a double whammy to improve insulin sensitivity. Muscles make up the largest glycogen stores in the body and a good training session depletes those like you said creating short term sensitivity benefits. However, training increases those glycogen stores as your muscle mass grows, creating bigger stores for the dietary sugar on subsequent meals and days.

  • I hate breakfast! I find If I don’t eat breakfast then it’s easy to fast for 24 hours. In the 2 month’s since being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and beginning my low carb journey I have reversed my diabetes, lost 15kg/33lb ( from 5xl to 1xl), my eyesight has come back and my eczema has gone. All by cutting out carbs, walk briskly for 20min 3 times a day and following the 19-5 eating plan

  • Hi, Melissa! I’ve been watching you and other vegan youtubers for years, so I already knew about the health benefits, but one day in June this year I just woke up and couldn’t eat animal products anymore for ethical reasons. Since then I’ve been getting more and more into the environmental aspect, as well. #veganforeverything

  • Would you recommend working out before your first meal after fasting or after? Also, what types of foods are best for breaking your fast and not increasing insulin levels?

  • Covid allowed me to have time to focus on health. 4 mo the ago I watched both What The Health and The Game Changers and became vegan immediately. I’ve eaten very little meat since 2009 after attending a 3 day raw foods class and then 4 day vegan cooking class with Mark Reinfeld, internationally known vegan chef. He’s written many vegan books (several 30 Minute Vegan titles)and I have them all. His wife is an ND and they have written an excellent book “Healing the Vegan Way” and are preparing to open a cooking school in Colorado. That’s where I received my early education. I was mostly vegan but it changed overnight after I watched those (& then more) related movies. I’m easily losing weight and my cravings have resolved. I continue to learn every day through nutritionfacts.org and a master class targeted for medical professionals through PlantPure Nation. I appreciate that like Mark Reinfeld, you do not preach veganism, because people need to choose their own path. When they see how it positively impacts themselves, animals and our environment, I believe more will want to follow this path. Subscribing today. THANK YOU!! ❤️

  • Well yeah, regarding the hunger gauge. If you eat a piece of meat and or bread and that’s it you have to wait about 40 min for hunger to go away. Most peoples meal lasts this long so they keep eating until this point where the hunger stops which was estinguished by the first bit of food, so the rest of the food is mostly unnecessary, if they only waited the hunger would have gone away. Anyway our stomach should be full 1/3 with food and 1/3 with water and we should eat only when we are hungry:), the last third is so our lungs can breathe:)

  • This is new to me but I have fatty liver so I’m working on healing it. I eat only between 11:00am and 7:00pm and very very low carb. I shoot for no carb but I’m happy if I stay under 25g and I always do… I’m never hungry. I will have another ALT test in about 2 months….

  • When he is naked he looks like a viking who has been dead for a week. pale skin, that beard and the fact that his abs looks like ribs.

  • 30oz of water with lime is what i have every morning. my eating time window is from 11am to 7pm. I give myself 16 hours of fasting. I feel very good all day. My meals are very low on calories and high in protein.

  • I have sleep problems and barely slept last night. Honestly, maybe got tops 4h or so? Normally I would’ve gorged on a heavy breakfast bedside I’m Super hungry in the mornings.. But no. I instead drink lukewarm green tea in the morning now, and then have soup. Full of veggies. It’s helped me. It keeps me full. Cabbage soup. Or any other type of veggie soup.

  • Hey there! Wanna loose weight fast and easy? Try this 2 week weight loss program that will give you 100% results! https://www.digistore24.com/redir/310757/Achieng/

  • I have fallen off the Keto bus due to that bastard called life, AS SOON as you said Carb Dodging I Subbed Because of my brand! Love the content!

  • Hard to exercise now during this pandemic since all gyms are closed in NY for almost 5 months but i am doing low carb and intermittent fasting also great video

  • I never thought I could skip my breakfast, cause if I did I felt bad and got hypoglycemic. In this time I was very slim (52 kg/height 168 cm/ 14% bodyfatpercentage!!). I was slim in this way till after my pregnancy, and went back to a pretty normal weight after my kids birth. But I noticed that it is nothing like before. I have gotten a thyroid issue (to low performance of thyroid hormones) and I gained weight. I noticed that I cannot lose weight for long, even I was very disciplined. I got frustrated and than started for some years the ketogenic diet with professional support. Since then I can manage my weight and I have a normal weight. I want to tell this here, cause maybe there is someone out there who is in the phase like I was before, it seemed pretty hopeless and no doc took it seriously. Now a days I do intermittend fasting on a regular basis, mostly I skip breakfast, and I enjoy it I don’t miss anything if I skip it and feel well. What I highley recommend: look for nutritious food, find recipes who fits this and your lifestyle. Do not think about a diet think about it as your new lifestyle and you will fast improve your complete life! And what I can say: I am much healthier now an feel much more younger than I did as I was in my twenties! no joke!

  • I totally agree with your analysis/diagnosis since I got introduced to low carb diet my insulin levels got a lot better. I don’t shake when I’m hungry and when I do fasting I could go long periods without being hungry.

  • I struggle with fasting. I sometimes get a little shaky or I just get really sick to my stomach if I don’t eat regularly. If I follow the other 4 tips is that enough? I would love to try intermittent fasting I just know how my body reacts to it. Any suggestions?

  • Fasting for 12 hours a night has to be a good thing, it rests the organs for one thing ; most normal people in developed countries have plenty of nutrition store to last a 12 hour fast.

  • Hello, I am not quite vegan yet (I do still eat cheese, creamer, and some foods that contain eggs like breads) I am looking for substitutes, any suggestions? I have never been a big meat eater. Even as child I always felt a bit “guilty” and not knowing why, but as a child you eat what it’s put in front of you later in life I realized that that guilty feeling was caused by my love for animals. As I grew up and moved on my own I never bought meat, I wasn’t avoiding it, it just didn’t occurred to me to buy it. Unfortunately when moving into a relationship with someone who needs meat in their diet things changed and I had to start buying and cooking meat I don’t eat it but he is OK with that. I love veggies, fruit and rice and beans so they are staples in my house. Who knows one day my partner might make the change too. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Fasting and jogging work the best for me and I’m a lot happier when I do them. So, today is a fasting day… Also going to use to weight machines at the gym in a bit.

  • Thanks so much. I became vegan because of the treatment of animals. My Godparents had a farm in Jefferson, Ohio, where I spent most summers. I named the animals and watched them grow. At Thanksgiving and Christmas time my Godfather would share these animals as food gifts. A pig that had become my best friend was the meal. I cried and cried, and asked to be excused from the table once I learned I was eating Big Man. That ended my meat eating forever. Shortly after, I became a vegetarian, but for the last 7 years now, I’ve been a total vegan. I feel amazing. My skin is so clear and healthy. I just stick to the organic fruits and veggies from Trader Joe’s. I would love to try the meat-like products, but the sodium content is much too high. If you know of an extraordinary vegan burger recipe that I can make at home, please share. Peace, and Blessings to you and your loved ones.

  • I eat a huge bowl of kale, super greens and potatoes daily. I actually crave it. Add lemon juice to bring out the flavors. Mmmm. Potatoes have been demonized because of what people put on them. Butter, cheese, sour cream, and bacon all render the potato a greasy vessel. Please do research regarding lectins. Beans have a lot of them. It’s the plants protective mechanism from being eaten. Animals defend themselves from being consumed. So do plants. Dr. Gundry does some videos here about lectins. I’ve been WFPB for years. And am still learning about nutrition. Food is powerful. People don’t acknowledge nor respect that fact. The father of medicine said ‘Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food’. Hippocrates.

  • Hi Melissa I became a vegan 45 years ago wow not easy then. I just loved animals and I was always interested in health. I fell off the wagon a few times over the years (only with dairy) but believe it or not since only 10 years ago that I read an old book titled Radical Vegetarianism. It was sort of a “poop or get off the pot” book and I agreed. And from that moment forward I never compromised. I don’t preach to people either and at 62 years old, and everyone says I look 40 I dont have to preach I just say Genesis 1:29 Go Vegan. Its God’s original diet and God probably knows what He’s talking about.

  • I have followed your second rule. I haven’t moved the barbell for 3 years and now I have serious obesity and also less muscles. This is what I wanted. Now I have non-powerlifting dad bod and avarage women like it since they don’t want anything better in their life, they want everything that is only avarage nothing above. Now I have got cardiovascular disease and drink beer 4 times per week. I behave like a standard man after 30, don’t have any hobby and have sex once a year with my avarage woman that likes avarage man. My life is avarage. Everything I do is avarage. I work in 9-5 work untill I retire and then I won’t have any idea what to do forward in my life since my life was only shit job and everything being on avarage.

For those unaware this is an satire. I am not like that guy and if you are the one that description from above describes, you have to know that only you can change the path you are going through.

  • I’m actually trying to gain weight, I’m 80kg but I want to lose the tiny bit of fat that I have, & I want to be just about under 200lbs.

  • The reason I turned to plant-based food was after I watched the documentary on the game changers. I have been struggling with what to eat. Didn’t think of potatoes although I have thought of sweet potatoes. I do have an air fryer so maybe I will try some french fries. Thank you for trying to help me understand this a little more.❤️❤️

  • Thanks for making this, it’s realistic tips for cutting back/gradual progress and not an “all or nothing” crash diet that it super hard to stick to. I will put the 5 tips in practice
I’m 241 lbs.. I’ll update you guys in 6 months

  • I am located in Germany, and we eat a bit different. But boy, does your video hit it! Of course you will be held responsible for the breakdown of civilisation, because what do you expect the food industry to sell if we all abide by your ten commands? Well, five, just quintuple the sixth: Eating less calories than spent on that day.

No way around it. Short, simple, and very, very hard.

  • That truck is awesome man. I liked your pillars of advice as well. I would include Fiber in your diet and making sure your drinking water with each meal giving yourself the illusion that you are full. Help a lot when getting started. Awesome video.

  • Love love love this! It’s hard looking for vegan recipes and find a mile long list of spices and things I don’t have in my kitchen. It would cost me a fortune to go by those items and might not use all of them up. Knowing some great staples to help start some plant based meals is definitely helpful!

  • Plant Based for weight loss/ health…however I just learned how to catch fish and feel compelled to eat them…I am a new subscriber..I am also not into vegans who scream murder at people…so your my style! Thanks!

  • Ok so this is by far THE BEST video i have ever seen on diet on the way to loose fat with no Food scale for each meal and no calorie calculator. Now this is LIFE expirience. I passed the same path couple Years ago droping from 115 Kg to 90 Kg in 8 months. Following almost same footsteps as shown here. At 35 Years of age, first time in My life i saw my 6 pack nice and clear. As for training i chose bodyweight/calisthenics, wich by myown wiew right now was on some parts a lousy choice, but results were there nevertheless, becouse i was cosistant in diet and training aswell.

  • I have currently applied this guide for a number of weeks already and the final results are remarkable. They offer me lots of energy and control my desire for foods, yet I don`t crash when they wear off which I enjoy, and they also don`t make me jittery. I did absolutely nothing special on my very own diet program and i also still are able to burned my bodyweight to 7 lbs. Find a right weight is not easy, you can research on Google. Program’s name is below.

    good luck

  • I’m went vegan for the animals and what I see restaurants use and the environment and for me I want to live longer and I’m only 11

  • But how do I get sleep! I fall asleep but by 2am I’m awake and usually cant fall back asleep until 5 or so. Also, I’m at that crappy age where we women stop sleeping. I’ve tried CBD oil and melatonin nothing helps.

  • I’m on WW and I follow those “no dieting” methods you share. Icelandic Yogurt is so filling that I can have a treat in moderation not even.

  • lol i don’t ate fast food for the last seven years. There is a McDonalds next to my work where i drive past every day twice.
I work all day and eat very little (just some fruit or lean protein). After work i go to training (sometimes very intense strength/power)
I come home late cook my food, eat and relax.
It is always your individual responsibility. Not being in shape is 100% your fault.

  • Great video. I’ve lost 30lbs doing some of these techniques. I didn’t cut out beer but instead counted it as a side item when eating meals.

  • I love all your videos, it’s changed the way I eat and think about food
I was terrified of eating carbs, starches
    Thank you so much!!!

  • New subscriber here! First of all great job!! I actually have a YouTube channel also showing my weight loss journey (60lbs down), my workouts and healthy recipes. You get a chance check it ou

  • Hi…. Good informative video. Thanks. I have an issue with elevated insulin levels….I am producing lots. However, the receptor cells are not able to accept the insulin…hence the insulin resistance….and high blood glucose readings…and my type 2 diabetes.
I note from the video that heavy, short burst exercise allows the high blood glucose levels to be reduced by allowing the glucose to enter the cells and be used, as necessary, and this type of exercise would allow the high blood glucose levels to enter the cells without the receptors being activated by insulin.
Just wondering…are there any other ways that one can increase the receptors on the cells so that the excessive insulin I produce will be effective in reducing my high blood glucose levels.
Had high blood glucose levels for over 30 years….no symptoms at all NONE…in fact the only reason I know…is the HBA1C tests that have been carried out over the years…and prior to this test being available, the “quick” finger prick test…(although back then it took abot 3 minutes..ha)…Currently do the Intermittant fasting thing…as I always have…one meal a day at night..this suits me…and on the very odd day I might do lunch (very rare). I eat a pretty balanced diet and I indulge in…..well basically what ever I fancy…I drink alcohol…and smoke. I know the drinking and smoking are frowned upon but…hey…30 years type 2..and no side effects at all…except the high blood sugars and the high insulin levels…just looking for another view point… I am a self employed builder so I have a pretty heavy workout every day…exercise wise….
I have been told by “professionals” that have worked in the diabetes field…(for far less time than I have had the issue)..that I will go blind…have a stroke…or heart attack etc… in a year or two with such high readings of blood glucose..
Yet here I am still “A OK” go figure…no symptoms…no associated diabetic issues/problems….except the high readings which the “professionals” seem to dislike.
I have been offered drug…Metformin…Gliclazide etc.. “to eleviate the symptoms” I was told….to which my reply was…”I do not have any of the symptoms”….to which they had to agree…albeit with the stroke, heart attack warnings etc…
I take…and have never taken, any diabetes medication whatsoever…feel fine….30 years on.
Oh..for what it is worth…..I am 55 years old today…Thanks for your time…

  • This is a great video on tips for staying consistent with your weight loss, but the tip on eat as many vegetables as you want is a double edged sword. The micro nutrients in vegetables will very well help those who don’t eat enough of it, but saying that there is no limit to consumption will more likely than not backfire on many. That’s the case where too much of a good thing, may lead to a bad thing.

  • I really couldn`t wait to try the weight loss program. This has given me pleasure. My good friend lost 10 pounds just after this kind of weight loss weight. My friend has shed 10 pounds already because of this fat loss program. Find a right program is not easy, you can research by Google. Program’s name is under.

    good luck

  • I have been following something similar for about 15 months now and have lost 30 kg. It’s pretty much it, great and easy to follow video:) It’s just about sticking to the program and not get discouraged. You WILL hit a plateu where you will not lose weight for a bit, just keep at it! It will continue after a while:) I myself hit 3 of these while losing weight, where I stuck to the programe but just didn’t lose a single gram for 10 days. Then it suddenly carried on.
Good luck to all who try to lose weight:)

  • Thank you for this channel! I started after I had a kidney removed and wanted to control my blood sugar. I’m loving all the veggies and the ways to prepare them.

  • God Damn sometimes i dont need ur tips that much on some topic, but just cant resist ur style and how ur edit ur vids.always make me lmao,APPRECIATE Man!!

  • When you eat fat your sugar levels rise, ask any diabetic that’s healed themselves. All the best endurance athletes smash the carbs and would most likely kick your ass in a race. 3 to 5000 kalories a day and stupa lean,,, the fat you eat is the fat you wear.

  • Great video as usual. Potatoes are pretty much in my diet every day as are bananas. The trick is having one food that can be made into many versatile dishes. Bravo.

  • Hello there! Thank you for this useful video. By the way, I hear many people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets (search on google), but I’m not sure if it is good. Have you ever tried Custokebon Secrets? I’ve heard several amazing things about it and my mate lost a lot of weight with it, but she refuses to tell me:(

  • I used to be super addicted to soda but I got over that with carbonated water like Pierre it helped be go from 18% body fat to 11% in 4 months it’s zero calories. Had to get used to the taste I hated it at first but so worth it n now I love it.

  • Hello there! Thanks for this useful video. By the way, I notice lots of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets (do a google search), but I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you tried using Custokebon Secrets? I’ve heard some great things about it and my sister lost a ton of weight with it, but she refuses to tell me:(

  • What are some ways to lost tons of weight? I read loads of superb opinions on the internet about how Custokebon Secrets can assist you lost tons of weight. Has anyone tested out this popular fat burn methods?

  • Anybody know what is Custokebon Secrets about? I hear lots of people lost a lot of weight with Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google).

  • It would have been much better if I found this kind of guide a couple of years back. For 15 days of pursuing the programs, I burned TWELVE lbs Obviously I exercise a couple of times weekly, and eat good food. It showed fantastic results for me. I certainly advise the product, hope it works as excellent for you as it does for me. Find a right guide is not easy, you can research by Google. Guide’s name is below.

    good luck

  • I kept bottles of water next to my regular seating at the house to ger off soda. I would rather get the water next to me than go fetch a less healthy drink.

  • I did it for the animals 2 years ago after seeing slaughter house videos. It hurt my heart so bad that I went vegan over night. I will be vegan for life. ❤️

  • or do the 16/8 intermediate fasting plan that will help. like all i had for lunch today was carrots, and hummus with a packet of nuts, and i am full until i get ready for taekowndo, and keeping my big meals at night that will keeps me full for 16 hours.

  • This unique “Kαbοnοz Ydα” (Google it) is actually a diet program which i have utilizing for 5 weeks already and I have eliminated 10 lbs currently and cut Three inches off my waistline. It supplies me the vitality that I need together with losing more excess weight then any of the others..

  • your Recommended Diet Plan for me says Carbohydrates 86 G, Protein 120 G, Fat 61 G but if i add that all together it only comes out to roughly 374 calories but 374 calories a day is dangerous i thought i was suppose to get around 1480 calories a day for healthy weight loss IM EXTREMELY CONFUSED AND STUCK PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND your Recommended Diet Plan

  • When I researched the “fetching tuti space” on google, the outcomes I discovered persuaded me to use it! When I tried this diet program, it was not long before I began slimming down! In just a duration of three months, I was able to shed twenty pounds. I will use the plan to lose another ten pounds. I achieved good results even with a week of consuming significant amounts of fatty foods many times a day..

  • On page 23 there is a fantastic nutrition trick that will tell your body that you’re not starving and keep your metabolic rate sky-high. Now this is going to shock you, yeah there’s a type of actual saturated fat yeah you know the kind the media tells you is all bad no this saturated fat is healthy and even supports fat burning metabolism.

  • Changing cameras during the presentation is bad. If you want to show a making of that’s fine, but for a speech or an explanation removing the front view of the speaker all the time is disturbing and annoying.

  • I’ve been doing these very suggestions for five years. I still don’t lose baby weight. Three to six pounds may drop off, but it yo-yos right back up. Seriously, I don’t need 30 extra pounds; why does my body think I do?

  • I lost 20lbs in 2 months with my cheeseburger diet: McDonald’s Double Cheeseburger with small fries, total 1500 calories a day. I was 200lbs and dropped to just under 180, and was also eating tomatoes, apples, green salad (NO DRESSING!!!!). I chose this route for 3 reasons: 1) it’s easy to monitor the calorie intake 2) I was unlikely to get bored with the food 3) it’s very, VERY cheap (Double Cheeseburger with small fries is just over £2/$2.50 so a total of £2/$5 per day). I think I could’ve lost a bit more but I still had one glass of red wine every evening.
I’m certainly not advocating this as a substitute for a regular, long term, healthy eating regime, (I eat a lot of fish, chicken and green salad, keep carbs a bit low, and have maintained my weight) but I decided to lose a chunk pretty quick for a family wedding and this worked for me as a short-term fix.
Respect to Alan for his superlative videos.

  • Not restricting means that “all food is equaly healthy” or “any quantity is no problem”, wich is false. So, restrictions are a MUST.

  • If you work on a farm or actually move your slobby ass then you need breakfast, if youre an urban thumb activist workin from your screen then you can just starve no problems.

  • 1. Focus on nourishing: eliminate all restrictions and instead prioritize on single ingredient foods. Have treats only after healthy food.

    2. Stick to most filling foods. Veggies, protein, slow digesting carbs, fats. Eat those first then wait 15 mins.

    3. Reset hormones. Healthy foods and weight training.

    4. Meal frequency. One meal a day. Small frequent meals. Whatever works for you. Try OMAD!

    5. Only drink water. Doesn’t necessairly mean you’ll lose fat but you’ll avoid sugary crap.

    6. Only leave healthy foods out.

    (Oops lost count)

  • u can give thousands of theories or diet types but the only way to approach people’s eating habits is psychologically and make them really understand that eating is not an emotional weapon or simply not eating most of man made food…. but not everybody is willing to……

  • These past 5 years have been stressful for an old timer like me. Nutrition is do controversial and so is working out. Too much science is driving me nuts. Good video tho

  • This title is clickbait…..Whenever you “suggest” how to eat your food that is a form of dieting. If this were truly 5 ways to lose weight without dieting then how to consume said foods should’ve never been mentioned other than for calories in versus calories out and even still that’s cutting it close to “dieting” per say…IJS

  • The reason for becoming a vegan is I had several major long term health issues, but I am having problems losing weight. My bloods have improved and pain is getting bareable. I am also a oil free vegan due to health.
Any ideas why I have trouble losing weight?

  • I have been intermittent fasting for just over a month, only coffee in the morning then water till lunch a light lunch then dinner but I have had ice cream almost every night lol I know I have a problem! However I have lost just over 20lbs. Only exercise is jogging several times a week and some push up/pull ups.

  • Rice and beans, along with potatos and bananas is what most of brazilians eat everyday, it’s like you were describing what a whole country eats lol

  • Great video. I’ve started a YouTube channel documenting my journey and sharing vegan recipes that I’m discovering and trying out. Thanks for sharing

  • Been vegan for a few months. Was vegan also in 2010. Im diabetic, but yes the vegan diet is a smart, healthy choice! My 4th daughters name is Melissa…. TY you are so inspiring ❤ and so beautiful!

  • Bananas and rice are definitely not good for weight loss. Calorie dense…. potatoes are much better than rice because they have much less carbs and fill you up easier.

  • I’m utterly confused. So eating greens I a horrible idea if you want to lose weight? Things like carrots are mostly CH, Broccoli has large amounts of it as well. Some people say that I won’t lose any weight with exercise at all because it’s all down to insulin levels. And your saying that you need to stop eating greens and eat protein and fat. Why can’t people dumb it down. It feels like every content creators tries to put a cloak of secrecy over food consumption so that people will sign up to some sort of program, where everything magically becomes simple.

  • What would you recommend for someone who cant eat beans? My stomach just cannot handle it. Ive tried slowly increasing the amount. But even just a few beans, really kills my stomach and digestion for days.

  • I became vegan because I love animals. The positive impact of veganism on the environment and my own health are added bonuses.

  • I became vegetarian 10 years and vegan 5 years ago.
Did it solely for the animals after seeing very disturbing and heartbreaking videos of their abuse and slaughter.
Later, I learned about the health benefits of eating a vegan diet and the environmental aspects.
I love being vegan and at age 63 years young I am in an amazing health and physical condition.
Cleared some previous health issues and still rejuvenating..
I do eat unprocessed fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, nuts, seeds and legumes, rice, potatoes, pasta..
Occasionally some vegan not the optimal food.
Love and compassion for all life…❤️❤️

  • Potatoes high starch. Not good. Bananas high in sugar. Not good. Rice is devoid of nutrients. Leafy greens high in oxylates, water and fiber. Few nutrient absorption. Beans make you fart. You can’t digest beans well. This advice is terrible.

  • How to Increase Insulin Sensitivity Naturally and Healthy

    https://www.vitrarange.com/how-to-increase-insulin-sensitivity-naturally-and-healthy/

  • Since going vegan, have you suffered from a lot of tooth decay? How do you make sure you eat proper nutrition in order to keep your teeth heathy??

  • This basically became my only foods after being diagnosed with allergies. There really are so much dishes to make with spices and herbs.

  • One of the most naturally thin/ripped dudes I know (only farm work, doesn’t workout) mainly consumes milk (at least, most of his days calories e.g. a gallon or half gal per day), 2nd he may eat eggs, meats from his animals, & a small variety of veggies he grows. He has also battled colon cancer, who knows if his milk diet is a factor.
I can consume a lot of nuts to my fill & they don’t seem to effect my weight, but sugar/carbs &/or animal fat (non-fish) always noticeably impacts my body fat (feel & look fatter after just one night of some pizza, beef, pork, pasta etc). ATM my proteins are whey, eggs, fish, chicken, nuts & mostly fruits/veggies no refined carbs (grains/sugar) & as long as I can stick to it I get progressing results.
To each their own; we are all human but all individuals, figure out what works for you.

  • I was on and off vegan all my life. Then I saw a video of a chicken farm made by Paul Simon. I was finally done. That was about 9 years ago.

  • Totally agree but make sure the rice is brown (the whole grain). We’ve been whole-food plant-based for several months now. My hubby has recently had his cholesterol checked again and it’s gone way down to normal! Same with his BP. The doctor had put him on statins because he was “high risk” because of his weight and his family history, but doctors always put these things down to genetics rather than lifestyle. His family are, and were, all obese, and lived an extremely unhealthy lifestyle. The weight is now falling off him. The doctor says his results are like those of a totally different person. As for me, I lost 4 1/2 stone by intermittent fasting before I knew about WFPB, but now I eat as much as I want, and am still losing weight, and it’s great. It’s also been a wonderful new adventure in education and food. I have also learnt a huge amount about the ethical and environmental aspects of animal agriculture and there’s no way I would go back to eating animal products again. Plants are the way to go!!!

  • No thanks! I want to be happy in life..and not be in a constant state of dieting and watching every fucking thing I put in my mouth. That’s a recipe for misery and narcissism..not living happily and care free. You do that if you want..but I’ll be drinking, eating and snacking on healthy things when I want even if I have a little belly..while watching you beat yourself up because you don’t look like a Supermodel or can’t have a fucking cookie. Life is short..and nobody has EVER said on their deathbed “I should have dieted more!”. Instead they say “I should have had more desserts and loved myself the way I was instead of always putting myself down and hating myself because I didn’t look perfect”. Your life..your choice. #LoveYourselfTheWayYouAre

  • Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Nobody misses it. If you did, you would would die. I just have mine after 16 hours of fasting.

  • Need help on this, I’m doing a low carb diet as of the moment with my wife and i’m having a high blood pressure and high blood sugar as well, as of the moment with the help of medication, we have already made it normal, however i’m having fast heart rate and still having 140/90 blood pressure that is already with medication. What should i do?

    I need help badly

  • coffee (caffeinated). What about the family meal around the table, this sort of diet is anti family shared meals around the kitchen table. Its anti western civilisation and encouraging of a narcissistic anti family life style, I’m afraid.
