Under Armour. Recipes 5 Simple Tips to Lose Baby Weight the Healthy Way. by Alexis Joseph. October 26, 2016. There are many effective natural ways to lose that baby weight and fast.

Eating regular and frequent meals, staying hydrated, breastfeeding and exercises are ways to lose that extra weight. Also catching up on plenty of sleep, avoiding crash diet, eating nutritious food and even lowering your stress level can help a lot. Tally up all of your active hours on mom duty and you’ll see some major weight loss (now that’s a new way to look at diaper changes!). Household activities: Cleaning the house: Keeping the house clean (i.e., vacuuming, dusting, mopping, taking out the trash, changing sheets and swiping counter tops) burns about 200 calories per hour. Make sure your breakfast contains enough protein.

Good sources of protein include eggs, oats, meat, quinoa, cottage cheese, peanut butter, edamame beans, canned tuna, plain greek yogurt, black beans, sunflower seeds, lentils, whey protein, canned salmon, dairy products, pumpkin seeds, almonds, Ezekiel bread, and more. Water is vital for the body, and it is even more important for mothers that are trying to lose baby weight. Make sure that you stay hydrated throughout the day as this will speed up your metabolism and in the process help you shed off those excess pounds that you put in during the pregnancy.

Stock up on vegetables that fill you up more like eggplant, squash, and asparagus. Studies show that consuming a diet high in fiber can lead to weight loss. If you eat more of the right things, then you won’t want the processed food and you’ll lose the baby weight. 12 Baby Steps to easily (and mindfully) lose 5, 10 or more pounds Health, Lifestyle, Wellness | 14 I usually get on the scale once every couple of days, just to check in with myself and make sure I’m in my desired weight range. Your body has been through a LOT growing a baby and now (most likely) breastfeeding them day and night.

Extreme diets or restricted calories aren’t a healthy way for anyone to lose weight, but especially if you’re trying to lose weight after baby. Instead, focus on regular meals full of nutrients to nurture yourself (and your baby). Take the stairs every chance you get.

Sign up for charity walks. Crank the music and get your heart rate up the next time you mop or vacuum. It all adds up.

  • Shout out from NC! Love your channels, you look gorgeous,; I was having trouble with my sugar, so 7 months ago I started eating Keto & interment fasting, about 45lbs down, feel so much better, I decided not to take insulin, but I was tired of feeling like a busted can of biscuits. Thanks for the info & sharing your journey with us. God Bless you.

  • “Mummy magic weight loss tea” is the accurate choice to lose belly fat after pregnancy, this tea really melts the lbs down and keep them from re-accumulation. You just need to drink it half an hour before every meal,

  • Breastfeeding is a natural way to shed pregnancy weight. However, if you want it quick, start Mummy magic weight loss tea that will not affect your breast milk supply as well.

  • I have had 3 kids nd pregnant 4 baby I tell you there’s no space so much weight on me especially this pregnancy am now 117 kg am due in December.what should I do to loose weight I remain at 65kg

  • I just found your channel this week, love it!
Your face looks soooo much different, it makes me wonder if I might have run into your channel in the past.
The moment I wake up, I’m hungry. Luckily breastfeeding made me lose the weight and then some. But my tummy never got it’s strength back. In the fall, I will get myself a membership at a gym.

  • This has been my dilemma, thinking of ways I can loose weight with a busy schedule that includes full time work, an infant and toddler like a lot of other moms. Thank you for sharing!:) Going to try this asap

  • I found your channel through Catherine from Do It On a Dime. This is the first video that popped up for me from you. I too suffered through two pregnancies with severe Hyperemesis. I have been struggling with my weight and the effects from all the medicines. So many people don’t understand what it is and it’s hard trying to find a program that will work for me. I will definitely do my research and give it a try. So happy to have finally found someone who understands

  • I only just managed to fit into my pre pregnancy 6momths later not as comfortably as I wanted but I still celebrated a bit haha
Will try these tips to see if I can shift that last bit…not sure I can avoid snacks though! Thanks for the inspiration:)

  • Spot on!! Great great advice! I loved the tip about buying new clothing that fits! I’ve been holding onto my pre-pregnancy clothing and I’m on baby #2 I think it’s time to move on.

  • Anybody know what is Custokebon Secrets about? I hear many individuals lost tons of weight with Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google).

  • I remember going to Orlando in 2014 after having my second baby & in the Black Friday sales I bought a load of size 28″ Levi’s sadly two more kids later & 5 years on my gorgeous 28″ Levi’s are sitting in the drawer collecting dust it’s so hard to shift this baby weight now after my 4th baby ☹️ thanks for this video though it’s inspiring

  • I was doing really well on FASTerWay to Weightloss…lost 13 lbs. in 2 1/2 mos., which I was not able to lose any weight before that…then, I went more lenient…and gained some weight back…it’s not a diet…it’s a life change…I basically did IF for most of my life…I could never eat breakfast…about 90% of the time I woke up with an upset stomach…I hardly ate lunch…we would have an early supper & evening snack & do it again the next day…FWWL is
Low low carbs like no bread, pasta, rice…etc…

  • Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Before I got pregnant I’ve been doing clean 16/8 fasting as well for a couple months and it was working great for me! Can’t wait to go back to it after I have the baby.

  • I gained 20kg in 6 months during pregnancy and went through C-section. How was your delivery, normal or C-section? Because I feel pain in my stitches and couldn’t work out

  • I am new to your channel, and this is the first video that I’ve watched. I too, have secondary infertility. We’re getting ready to start fertility medication in the fall if the surgery I just had isn’t successful. (Long story) do you have any advice on that journey? (Or have you made a video?)

  • I had to rewatch this video to convince myself to stop putting creamer in my coffee. I’ve been doing IF for 2 weeks. Creamer is the one thing that’s hard to give up.

  • Thanks, great info. After you reached your “goal”, did you start including almond milk in your coffee again, or have you stuck with clean fasting?

  • More than like 6 calories or so I think it is of carbs or protein. If you add pure fat your body can stay closer to a fasted state. I was warned against it when nursing by people who got super hungry nursing and had to litterally drink water while nursing. But l remember the hospital cafitria was only open from six am to 7 pm. So at least a 12 hour fast is so standard it’s not really even a thing but yet we often don’t even give ourselves that. The first few days after giving birth I needed double the food and then some put after that pretty normal. I practiced IF when son turned a month and nursed on demand round the clock with no issues. I didn’t calorie district. I found I wasn’t actually hungry I was just in the habit of eating. Found myself at the fridge noticing how many calories extra I would be consuming and took a hard pass. I really like the rythem but stuff in life changed and three years later haven’t found the right rythem for it again

  • Do natural popular fat burn secrets like Custokebon Secrets really work and if so, how effective are they? I’ve noticed several amazing things about this popular fat burn methods.

  • Another amazing vlog and truly inspiring.:) It is not too late if you have the means and determination. I’m really happy I found @t as this helped me a lot in my weight loss journey after pregnancy. I hope this will help other as well.

  • Does Custokebon Secrets really work? I notice a lot of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets. But I’m not sure if it’s good enough to lost crazy amounts of fat.

  • omg you looked so good with the weight on too! I hope this didn’t come out the wrong way, but you looked like a young girl with a rounder face!

  • Thank you!!! I’m never hungry in the morning and I’ve never been a breakfast person. My fiancé LOVES breakfast and doesn’t get it.

  • I agree! I have also had success with IF, especially in helping me get rid of the stubborn extra baby weight. I’ve kept with it now almost two years from starting. Though I’m pretty satisfied with my body at this point, I’ll have to try the clean approach and stop adding that bit of honey and milk to my morning tea to see if I can go any further with it. But overall IF feels more natural and seems to make most sense. I just don’t think our bodies were designed to be constantly taking in fuel, and just as we need a rest from physical exertion, our bodies also need a rest from food, and that what fasting does: it provides that needed rest.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I’ve been doing IF since January, to date I’m down 21lbs. I usually do 16 to 18 hour fast. My energy level is through the roof! I was always skeptical but now I know it works and it’s just become a way of life.

  • No one talks about the weight gain with fertility medications! I’m having a much harder time losing the weight this time (with meds) than with my first.

  • Intermittent fast has helped me lose weight. It has really made me feel amazing as a side effect
Sure there are periods that you will be hungry but no where near the hungry when you are eating regular this has been the easiest diet plan ever!!!

  • hey cute mommies! i’m Grace a mom of 3. i used to be so embarassed of my shape. but i swear to god i loose wheigt in 3 weeks without sports and now i love my body and i have been more confident so i can be a better mom. for the mommies who want to know more about my story just send me an email: [email protected] gmail.com

  • Using “mummy magic weight loss
tea” for cutting down your pregnancy weight can bring pretty healthy
changes in your weight, it is all natural herbal tea mended especially for moms
    struggling with their pregnancy weight.

  • You look great and are awesome! I’ve never hear of 8fit app but I will check it out. I have been using Tone It Up app for 2 months and I’ve lost 12 lbs and now my hubby wants baby#2 ‍♀️ so we’re going to to try and have baby #2☺️!

  • This video was in my recommended and it’s crazy to me because we both had twin girls in 2017! I ended up pregnant again in 2019 so my weight loss journey took a break, but thanks for the tips as I’m trying to lose what all my babies helped me gain.

  • I’m due tomorrow and gained 65 pounds through this pregnancy. 20 pounds in just the first few weeks of knowing I was pregnant! Water retention, blood getting thicker and I also had a condition that didn’t allow me to exercise anymore… I also ate very well! But now none of this matter: I cannot WAIT to meet my daughter in the next few days

  • Girl you said something that never occurred to me and is sooo OBVIOUS I don’t know how I I didn’t see it. I naturally fast intermittently, like, without trying to. But my poison is that creamer in my coffee during my fasting window. My brain has got to be telling my body to produce insulin and I’m not eating… wild because I bet if I switch to plain green tea, I’ll drop the little bit of 10 lbs I have left ‍♀️

  • How long did it take you to see improvement with bloating and skin clarity? I want to give it a try, but want to know how long to trial it before determining if it works for me or not.

  • Thank u for your incredible videos. My second baby is 12 days old! Also have a 3 year old and I’m super unfit. Thank u for the advice.:)

  • This video is older so you may not even see this but I’d love to see a video of what you eat in a day once you break your fast. Like do you eat what you feed your kids or make your own meal? A day in the life what i eat would be good.

  • I would actually love to hear about your GI issues. I have had issues with bloating and imbalanced for some time. Would love to know what works for you?

  • It does work. I decided to try the same, almost, system of eating, and the extra weight started going away. But you need to move a bit, at least, more than before. Just simple gymnastic you can do at home.
I am a mother of seven kids, and pretty slim.

  • Im the samei have to force myself to eat breakfast. i dont get hungry till lunch time. Ive done IF ever since i was a teen when it was part of our religion at the time. A day or 2 of no food really kick starts your metabolism, boosts HGH and all kinds of good health effects. I would drink coffee or water. It helps with insulin sensitivity as well. Helpful if your prediabetic.

  • Uh oh, I am expecting my first and started gaining baby weight after week 20!:D I think I will do the same thing I did before I got pregnant. It’s all about mostly eating lots of veggies, fruit and soups, avoiding candy and alcohol and walking outside lots! Like 20k steps walking daily.

Because lol right now I am eating a bit of this and that.. 26 weeks now and 6kilos, omg..

  • Try organic coffee brewed weak using purified water (not from plastic which gives off an estrogen). Skip the cream. This way it purifies your liver. Now I hear you did that. I went off my eating disorder (popcorn) and wine for 6 or 7 weeks and I lost 9 pounds. Then I went on a real fast for 9 days. I needed to lose weight and also very importantly I needed to let mother nature restore my gut. If you do it correctly (100%) you will not lose muscle. Explained by Dr. Bosworth you will not have stretched out skin. The process of autophagy inwhich the body gobbles up junk, varicose veins, etc. My inspiration came from another wonderful you tube lady = Dana Ashlie’s Overwhelmed/Tired/Unanswered Prayers?” It made it easy for me! Oh, I only allowed myself black coffee…. All things through prayer and fasting_

  • Don’t you love how people legally have to put up a disclaimer to tell people to check with their doctor before doing an eating or supplement protocol and medical doctors have the least amount of training in this stuff lol ugh luckily for me now I’m a mineral analysis practitioner. I know things about vitamins and mineral interactions most don’t. People are taking multivitamins and making themselves sicker because the ratios or things in it are tanking minerals more! Minerals and vitamins are antagonistic and protagonistic with one another. Minerals are at the root of all systems and organ function in the body! Anxiety depression etc all of it even digestion issues.. I wish more people were educated in this

  • Ysis. Wauw you have come far with it. I love it the way you are telling everyone I DONT CARE. Trust me if this way all the Mums start thinking. You will never be upset and have those breakouts on your face because you are eating to much sugar then.

    Thank you.
    Hifza

  • I just wanna say how gorgeous you are no matter what weight you were or are.
what an amazing mom you are and what a motivation you are to me!! Seeing this video is so motivating thank you!

  • Sounds like my life, not eating breakfast because im never Hungry. only eating during lunch time then dinner then not eating during the afternoons

  • I’m SO PROUD of you girl! Losing baby weight can be such a challenge and you’re nailing it! Going to check out the app this afternoon. I kept fifteen pounds with my first little girl (Haven Grace) and wasn’t able to lose it before I started my journey carrying our second little girl (Hope Adrielle). Working hard and praying hard got rid of forty pounds….now I’m working on the last five-ish to reach my goal. Done breastfeeding now, but it’s SO hard to get that last little bit off. Thanks for the inspiration!!

  • Isn’t it gross to have sex while your bleeding? And that’s really not good for you to strain yourself too soon after having a baby unless you were working out during the ENTIRE pregnancy.

  • Emily I wanted to say thank you for all your lovely videos. I’m expecting my 1st in 2 weeks and your videos have been so helpful. Your content is so genuine and I love your positivity and approach.

  • You are already at the level of “oh wow she’s had 3 kids!?!”.
Trust me mama you are drop dead gorgeous!
But thank you so much for the awesome videos. Very motivating for me.
I just had my second babe 3 weeks and 5 days ago and I’m so excited to get in shape.
I weighed 130pounds before my first babe and after him I weighed 240!!! I had an emergency c-section and never lost more then 30 pounds. I breastbfed him for 2 1/2 years and didn’t lose that weight until 6 months after I stopped breastfeeding.
This last pregnancy I weighed 205 at the beginning and gained up to 220. This time I thankfully had a successful vbac and am down to 192 pounds! I am breastfeeding again this time but am up moving around and it’s just a better experience health wise.
Yes I am still obese however,it is a big deal to me because I had weighed over 200 pounds for almost 4 years!

  • You can tone through exercise, doing chest exercises actually perks your breasts up, and stretch marks are less noticeable on firm skin, also there are products (bio oil) that reduce them. Don’t hate your body, you have power to make it better without surgery. It may not end up perfect, but no one’s ever is.

  • We Muslims do fast from sunrise to sunset in ramadan month every year
And its sunnah to break your fast on water or dates.
Also we fast every Mondays and
Thursday but its saunnah ( which mean its not a must but we do it as our prophet did it )

  • I love you for having enough love to care for so many children. I can tell that you are a loving person and may God bless and keep you all in His care

  • The first sentence you said was “Oh my god. I’m so embarrassed about the thumbnail”
The second sentence in your video description was “I can’t believe I got so huge:-/”
Emily!!!! You are being too hard on yourself!!! Your body looks amazing, it’s totally normal to have a little belly after birth and that’s all you have. Besides, you grew THREE HUMANS and are raising THREE HUMANS. Don’t be embarrassed Emily… be proud!

  • Can you make a video on loose skin? You had twins and your belly looks really good! I only had one and a year later my belly is still absolutely destroyed, what did you use to fix it? Or do some women just have more elastic skin and ‘snap back’ (literally) more then others?

  • Just putting this out there for anyone struggling with health and weight. I was gaining weight, depressed due to many factors and food and I weren’t compatible. Thing is that my diet and exercise really didn’t change although I was going through a big life change. I mentioned to someone that food hurts my stomach and they suggested bovine colostrum. That with daily exercise, sunshine, spiritual and holistic care I greatly improved and I lost most of the weight I put on and I just plain felt way better! I also stopped eating breakfast and that helped too. It was as the little things that made the biggest difference. Mind you I don’t diet at all. I just try to eat healthy most of the time.

  • I loved your video.thankyou for sharing.i needed it badly.i had a miscarriage three months ago.and my body is still not in shape.and my eating habits are also not good.wat is this app.plz share its details.

  • Hi Emily! You are beautiful! I think the only reason you wouldn’t want to go to the gym is because you would be checked out so much.

  • Great video! I am 6 months postpartum and I still have a little ways to go to get to my pre-pregnancy weight I have been seeing so many videos of women 6 weeks post partum or so that are already “back to normal” its good to see someone in my shoes!

  • Thank you!!! This is what i needed and I’m saving this video as a reminder. I’m entering my third week postpartum and so far I’ve lost 13 lbs. 10 the first week and 2 this past. This is my second and maybe last child so I’m with you that I want to get back to my normal size. I gained a lot of weight both pregnancies so this will be a lot of work but I’m motivated to get to my goal weight!

  • I gained 40 with my last baby lost 20’and can NOT lose the last 20. It’s super super hard and I almost feel like my body won’t let me.

  • I was scrolling through the questions to see if someone else had already asked this, but just wondering if, during the clean fasting window in the morning, would a zero-calorie sweetener in my black coffee count as something that would start up insulin? (I struggle with plain black coffee.)

  • I just gave birth to our 5th child 3 weeks ago and I’ve gotten the “wow you have 5 babies WHERE” It makes me feel good, even my husband tells me my body has been “eating my fat pretty fast” lol BUT me personally i have been beating myself up.

  • That was spot on, love the advise. I’m 3 months postpartum and been following everything you spoke about. Trust the process right:)

  • I do fasting for a month altogether with other muslims. It’s on Ramadhan. And it helps my health and also fun bcz I am not alone doing the fasting. One of the most fun is on breakfasting time. ♡

  • Omg it’s so rare to hear hyperemesis! I had severe hyperemesis for all 3 of my pregnancies. My last pregnancy I lost 40 pounds. Every pregnancy I would be hospitalized. I’m scared to be pregnant again. Cause when I get it (@ 4 weeks) I can’t take care of myself or my kids.

  • working out is not the last thing you can do for your weight loss there are numerous things available that you can have a better result from, like I recommend “beyond weight management tea” you can find it pretty easily from amazon, it’s a real fat cutter and can do wonders for you

  • Thank you for being so vulnerable with us your fans. I imagine it took a lot for you to post this however you have motivated me to get on with my idea of getting out with the buggy. As others ha r said you do already look WOW! But keep going I will follow you. Good luck.

  • I appreciate your bravery I’m showing ur before it shows ur human. Thanks for not setting unrealistic expectation. I’m the same with breastfeeding I can’t shift it all until I’m done

  • “mummy magic weight loss ginger tea” by secretsoftea.com was very helpful for me, to reduce my postpartum weight. it’s herbal and also a good help to improve lactation for breastfeeding moms.

  • You are beautiful! Thank you for your videos! I’ m mum of four and I try to be slim, eat healthy food, drink much water and my do my sport routine as well.

  • It’s still astonish me just how many people have no idea about Custokebon Secrets even though a lot of people with it. Thanks to my mate who told me about it. I have lost crazy amounts of weight.

  • This video has really motivated me…I had a C-Sec about 4 months ago and I really want to lose weight.. time to get in shape before Summer 2018. ☀️

  • Great video, I have thought about intermittent fasting.. I like to snack at night when my husband and i get the kids to bed and spend time together. I really need to cut it out. I already drink my coffee black, so I am hopeful! Its although worth noting that the less weight you have to lose the longer it can take and also that you really can only lose 1-2 pounds of fat each week, any more is just water weight (from all there search I’ve done for the last 20 years of dieting/ trying to lose weight). Great job!

  • I am someone who suffers from HG as well am currently 31 weeks and still struggle with nausea. I find that we tend to overeat when we can eat to compensate for the loss of nutrition which leads to lots of bloating and weight gain. Plus all the meds. A lot of people think I can’t be that sick if I keep gaining weight but its much more complicated than that. Glad you found a way to be healthy and happy in your body after such a rough pregnancy. I’m hoping to be able to do that too, as my nr 1 worry right now is just staying healthy and having a healthy baby.

  • Congratulations!! It feels so nice to feel comfortable with your body again. It’s all about accepting your body and doing small steps to go back on track. So happy for you

  • So jealous… since I had my baby I went on a mission: lose 25 lbs. I changed my diet extremely by cutting out all snacks n such and eating mostly veggies and yogurt, started exercising (walking 2 miles EVERYDAY with baby). Its been a month… instead of losing, I’ve gained 10lbs.. BUT IM EATING WAY HEALTHIER THAN I EVER HAVE like whyyyyyyyyyy

  • I really enjoy your videos. I think it’s great that you share your personal experience. I think you look great after having three kids, well done!

  • The Circadian Code by Dr Panda goes into all the science behind it. He focuses on the fasting as a detox time. Search him on YouTube he has interviews & Ted Talks:)

  • Can you drink hot tea with no sweetener or cream. Can just plain hot tea be used instead of black coffee? During the clean fast portion

  • What a wonderful video and fascinating article. Would you mind doing a video about what you typically eat in a day and from what time to what time you fast and if that changes or stays consistent. Any other tips you might have? How do you do stay full and keep your mind off food when you are fasting. Thank you so much!

  • I really appreciate your honesty in this video. I put on 60+ lbs while having my son. I lost 30 within 4mths and have been stuck ever since. Going back to work didnt help at all. Want to lose 40lbs by my son’s 1st bday so I have just over 4mths.

  • Thats so cool how many benefits there is in that! I think I would probably do that too but im actually the opposite. I struggle ALOT with trying to gain weight. I’m 24, I have had 3 babies and after my 3rd baby I was so shocked! I actually went down in weight instead of up. I was always around 110-112 pounds since high school and then after my 3rd baby I was 109-108! Now i’ve just started my journey on trying to gain weight and its so hard and idk why!

  • i’ve been doing 16:8 all week and am committed to it. Everyone says how great they feel, but i always feel STARVING in the last couple of hours. Does that go away in time? When should i start feeling great?

  • Don’t forget y’all….when doing any fasting, you need to drink more water than you think as food has a lot of moisture and not eating you’ll need more fluids…IF is awesome! 2/3 day water fasts are great once a month, and once a year try to do a full week( but add some salt to your water so you don’t get the gitters) She mentioned drinking some, but you need more than you think lol, like 3/4 gallon a day or 3 Litres.

  • What do you think of lost a ton of fat with Custokebon Secrets? I notice a lot of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets.

  • I tried Mummy Magic weight loss tea after I had my first child and I got really annoyed so after I tried this lost a lot of weight in no time.

  • Great tips. I reduced my weight by drinking “Mummy magic weight loss tea” It is the perfect herbal that helps in loosing baby weight easily.

  • Ive had two children in the space of two years and I gained 5 stones I was working as a nurse then had all the housework and cooking cleaning and it was so overbearing thankfully I have my partner who was so supportive and said I could join the gym and gave me tips and advice as he was a gym freak. I felt rubbish being with him the way he looked and compared him to myself. I was so anxious to go the gym same as you thinking I was going to embarrass myself but I just pushed myself one day. Now I’m completely obsessed with the gym now! I can’t start my day without it now. Lost nearly 2 stones but gained a lot of muscle mass. Feeling and looking amazing and I’m not stopping f9r anyone! You look absolutely amazing and all mum’s are amazing you have beautiful children so we done the hardest part we just gotta persevere and stay on top of our game and we’ll all get there!!!!

  • “mummy magic tea” is an herbal blend for moms struggling with baby weight. the ingredients this tea is mended with are all-natural which makes me give it a go. I am really enjoying its taste too.

  • Intermittent fasting is a must for Muslims to do once a year on month of Ramadan and it is recommended to do on Mondays and Thursdays (there are some other recommended days as well) it was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) by the Allmighty appx 1411yrs ago and now is Ramadan, so we are fasting Thank you so much dear for your videos❤️ you are so beautiful (let God protect you❤️) and you are a super woman❤️

  • Angela, thanks for sharing your story. I had a similar experience, losing the baby weight and ending up 10 lbs lower than I’ve been in decades through intermittent fasting. I fast on the other side of the day, not eating from 5pm-7am.
It’s so interesting, I wasn’t actually trying to lose that last bit of weight; it’s just that our family’s schedule changed and they were eating dinner before I got home, and I found if I ate enough in midday/afternoon, I wasn’t actually hungry in the evening.
I was so surprised to find that I was down from 180 to 170, and have stayed there consistently for months now. But my intermittent fasting seems to be what did the trick!

  • I had the exact same experience postpartum. Started 16/8 IF lost 10 pounds, plateud, and was able to maintain regardless of what I ate as long as I stuck to my windows.

  • Hey Angela I jst started IF n i take black coffee with bit of cinnamon powder n no sugar ofcourse… Am still luking for alternates to breads n wheat because that’s what we eat the most in India. Everything “healthy” is made out of wheat and if it is not it’s very expensive..
Did you incorporate some exercise too in your routine?
Is the timing of starting IF also important or just the duration matters? I generally stop eating between 9.30-10.30pm

  • The GI tract issue is why I’m doing intermittent fasting. I have SIBO and was super ill. Intermittent fasting is the only thing that has stopped the awful symptoms.

  • Thank you for this video! I’ve been doing IF but drinking coffee with creamer and a little raw sugar as a sweeter and I just never saw any difference. I kept wondering why. So Now I’m going to just drink water!!

  • Thank you! This was great for me! I’ve always been active, and after having my baby, it’s been so difficult for me getting into a fitness routine. Especially since I had a winter baby, it was hard getting out regularly. Using your tips ( and the app ) I’m starting to feel better, more energetic.

  • I loved watching you exercise with your baby… this is the same way I exercised with my first baby too, especially as his naps were not always aligned with my readiness to exercise. I used Daily Burn for exercise and My Fitness Pal for calorie counting.

  • I’m breastfeeding my baby and I’ve put on a lot of weight.. I’ve downloaded the 8 fit app.. I wanted to ask you, if you’re eating these dishes, do you cook different food for your family? Did you not worry that you’re milk supply would be effected? Thx Nicky

  • Tomorrow I am starting this. No excuses. I can’t seem to drop the weight. I am tired of feeling uncomfortable in my own body. Wish me luck! Maybe I will check in. This way of eating also seems to relieve the stress of what will I eat three times a day, now I just have to plan one meal.

  • Lol I love the way you say it’s Common sense,
I just had my baby 6 months ago and this video inspired me to eat clean and work out.
Question are these workout ok for some that had a C section?
Thank you and you look Amazing.

I lose about 3kgs for the pass few months just by doing this simple tips & it really works. I just want to be healthy, be more better with my own.

  • My work buddy laughed when I told them I was going to become slimmer with just implementing Custokebon Secrets, but after I showed them awesome effects after I used it they are begging me to share with them about it. Of course I won’t tell them the detail about this diet plan, lol

  • Thank you for sharing this! I have been having such a hard time losing the last bit of baby weight and so far this system has been helping me, so thank u for talking about this, I haven’t heard about it before

  • Hi Emily. Did you get any stretch marks during your pregnancies and if so how have they healed after your weight loss? I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant with my first and didn’t get any stretch marks until I was 31 weeks. They aren’t massive, just lots of them and I worry that my tummy will resemble a deflated balloon for the rest of my days
    Thanks.

  • Thank you for sharing, I also do intermittent fasting. I’m a mom to eight. I also have just coffee in the morning and break the fast with a green smoothie in late afternoon. I have been having milk or coconut milk in my coffee though, so I think I will try black coffee.

  • Hey everyone, the greatest fat loss that I have ever had was by following the Trevs trim formula (just google it) without a doubt the most incredible diet that I have ever followed.

  • This was exactly what I needed to watch! My baby is 1 year old and I still need to loose weight. But I’m like you in that I’m embarrassed to go out to a class or anything and I just don’t have time. Thanks for the motivation!

  • This helps me alot thanks! I still got baby weight and my daughter is now 4yrs old. Finding this hard to loose weight
    and I struggle with weightloss

  • One minute in and this already made me feel so much better, I’ve put on 3 stone at 32 weeks and people say I look huge all the time

  • Nice tips and very sweet advice for new mamas. I’m one of those prolactin sensitive mamas who carry an extra 10 pounds while I breastfeed till the baby weans (and I nursed my eldest till she was 3 ). I have found for me cutting out dairy while nursing really helps in weight loss but I like cheese a little too much. Awesome tips and awesome evergreen content.

  • Hey Emily!
Very interesting your vlog and helpful.
I’ve also three kids and still babyweight. I’m wondering the app is free which you used? To get the meal plans did you pay? Is it a good idea to use the meal plan for the whole family? Or did you use it first of all for you?

  • I gained 60lbs. 210lbs before deliver my son. Naturally lost 50 lbs within 7 months to 160lbs than got stuck with 160lbs. I and my husband who I fed too much and gained a tummy is on a 500 calories diet. So far I lose 1 lbs every two days. My hubby lose more cause he is much bigger. I tell you, I DREAM buying food!!! Since the stomach is getting small we do reward us once a weak to have maybe a small steak without sides. Definitely working. And NO SODA! My goal is 130. I am 149 today. One more month of dreaming food…..lol

  • good stories there have been peacful protest thru out my 77 years never thru a pandamic peoples value matter more then their well being, says alot about people!

  • I absolutely love you for posting this! The brutal honesty was just the encouragement I needed with this. I’m terrible at working out too haha! I have gained a lot during my pregnancy also and was very afraid I will not be able to loose the weight.. however, you are an inspiration to me! THANK YOU!

  • Hi Emily…I am a Mum but my boys are all grown up. I love watching your positivity & your upbeat & honest approach to parenting.. Wish YouTube had been around when my boys were small.. I know it’s probably is such along time ago but can you remember where you got your work out leggings from. The black & grey ones with white bottoms. I’m struggling to find leggings that are not all jazzy as I want to play down my bottom half ha ha. It’s never ends sweetie.Im 53 & still trying to loose the baby fat . Keep the great work up Emily Xxx

  • There are many ways to keep your calories down but thing I like to recommend is “mummy magic weight loss tea” of secretsoftea.com which worked for me.

  • I have been 20/4, 18/8 or 18/6 for four years. I clean fast. I eat low carb during my eating window because it makes fasting easier. I went from 215 to 135 in the first 7 months and have not regained any back. Before IF I tried everything. I counted every calorie and never lost a lb.

  • The problem is that so many women have the “I’m eating for two!” mentality and just give in to all cravings and end up gaining too much weight. You’re not supposed to gain THAT much weight when pregnant. Then, after they’ve given birth, they have to try to lose all of that weight and it’s definitely tough.

  • How did I get my body back? Uhm, I didnt, Im still a fat ass! LOL…but I havent given up hope Im just having a hard time exercising more and eating less! I’ll get it together, I need motivation!:)

  • I thumbs upped your video seconds in because of your message about weight not being the end all be all and consideration for those with eating disorders in the beginning. Bravo. Great message.

  • Do natural popular lose weight method like Custokebon Secrets really work and if so, how effective are they? I have heard numerous amazing things about this popular fat burn diet plan.

  • Over 2 years on I still have around 14lbs to lose. But I’m not toned, covered in stretchmarks and my boobs are sagging. I hate my body and this is how I wil be forever, unless one of you want to give me a chunk of your fortune for surgery haha. But if I had the money I deff would.
