Eating regular and frequent meals, staying hydrated, breastfeeding and exercises are ways to lose that extra weight. Also catching up on plenty of sleep, avoiding crash diet, eating nutritious food and even lowering your stress level can help a lot. Tally up all of your active hours on mom duty and you’ll see some major weight loss (now that’s a new way to look at diaper changes!). Household activities: Cleaning the house: Keeping the house clean (i.e., vacuuming, dusting, mopping, taking out the trash, changing sheets and swiping counter tops) burns about 200 calories per hour. Make sure your breakfast contains enough protein.

Good sources of protein include eggs, oats, meat, quinoa, cottage cheese, peanut butter, edamame beans, canned tuna, plain greek yogurt, black beans, sunflower seeds, lentils, whey protein, canned salmon, dairy products, pumpkin seeds, almonds, Ezekiel bread, and more. Water is vital for the body, and it is even more important for mothers that are trying to lose baby weight. Make sure that you stay hydrated throughout the day as this will speed up your metabolism and in the process help you shed off those excess pounds that you put in during the pregnancy.

Stock up on vegetables that fill you up more like eggplant, squash, and asparagus. Studies show that consuming a diet high in fiber can lead to weight loss. If you eat more of the right things, then you won’t want the processed food and you’ll lose the baby weight. 12 Baby Steps to easily (and mindfully) lose 5, 10 or more pounds Health, Lifestyle, Wellness | 14 I usually get on the scale once every couple of days, just to check in with myself and make sure I’m in my desired weight range. Your body has been through a LOT growing a baby and now (most likely) breastfeeding them day and night.

Extreme diets or restricted calories aren’t a healthy way for anyone to lose weight, but especially if you’re trying to lose weight after baby. Instead, focus on regular meals full of nutrients to nurture yourself (and your baby). Take the stairs every chance you get.

Sign up for charity walks. Crank the music and get your heart rate up the next time you mop or vacuum. It all adds up.

  • Shout out from NC! Love your channels, you look gorgeous,; I was having trouble with my sugar, so 7 months ago I started eating Keto & interment fasting, about 45lbs down, feel so much better, I decided not to take insulin, but I was tired of feeling like a busted can of biscuits. Thanks for the info & sharing your journey with us. God Bless you.

  • “Mummy magic weight loss tea” is the accurate choice to lose belly fat after pregnancy, this tea really melts the lbs down and keep them from re-accumulation. You just need to drink it half an hour before every meal,

  • Breastfeeding is a natural way to shed pregnancy weight. However, if you want it quick, start Mummy magic weight loss tea that will not affect your breast milk supply as well.

  • I have had 3 kids nd pregnant 4 baby I tell you there’s no space so much weight on me especially this pregnancy am now 117 kg am due in December.what should I do to loose weight I remain at 65kg

  • I just found your channel this week, love it!
Your face looks soooo much different, it makes me wonder if I might have run into your channel in the past.
The moment I wake up, I’m hungry. Luckily breastfeeding made me lose the weight and then some. But my tummy never got it’s strength back. In the fall, I will get myself a membership at a gym.

  • This has been my dilemma, thinking of ways I can loose weight with a busy schedule that includes full time work, an infant and toddler like a lot of other moms. Thank you for sharing!:) Going to try this asap

  • I found your channel through Catherine from Do It On a Dime. This is the first video that popped up for me from you. I too suffered through two pregnancies with severe Hyperemesis. I have been struggling with my weight and the effects from all the medicines. So many people don’t understand what it is and it’s hard trying to find a program that will work for me. I will definitely do my research and give it a try. So happy to have finally found someone who understands

  • I only just managed to fit into my pre pregnancy 6momths later not as comfortably as I wanted but I still celebrated a bit haha
Will try these tips to see if I can shift that last bit…not sure I can avoid snacks though! Thanks for the inspiration:)

  • Spot on!! Great great advice! I loved the tip about buying new clothing that fits! I’ve been holding onto my pre-pregnancy clothing and I’m on baby #2 I think it’s time to move on.

  • Anybody know what is Custokebon Secrets about? I hear many individuals lost tons of weight with Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google).

  • I remember going to Orlando in 2014 after having my second baby & in the Black Friday sales I bought a load of size 28″ Levi’s sadly two more kids later & 5 years on my gorgeous 28″ Levi’s are sitting in the drawer collecting dust it’s so hard to shift this baby weight now after my 4th baby ☹️ thanks for this video though it’s inspiring

  • I was doing really well on FASTerWay to Weightloss…lost 13 lbs. in 2 1/2 mos., which I was not able to lose any weight before that…then, I went more lenient…and gained some weight back…it’s not a diet…it’s a life change…I basically did IF for most of my life…I could never eat breakfast…about 90% of the time I woke up with an upset stomach…I hardly ate lunch…we would have an early supper & evening snack & do it again the next day…FWWL is
Low low carbs like no bread, pasta, rice…etc…

  • Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Before I got pregnant I’ve been doing clean 16/8 fasting as well for a couple months and it was working great for me! Can’t wait to go back to it after I have the baby.

  • I gained 20kg in 6 months during pregnancy and went through C-section. How was your delivery, normal or C-section? Because I feel pain in my stitches and couldn’t work out

  • I am new to your channel, and this is the first video that I’ve watched. I too, have secondary infertility. We’re getting ready to start fertility medication in the fall if the surgery I just had isn’t successful. (Long story) do you have any advice on that journey? (Or have you made a video?)

  • I had to rewatch this video to convince myself to stop putting creamer in my coffee. I’ve been doing IF for 2 weeks. Creamer is the one thing that’s hard to give up.

  • Thanks, great info. After you reached your “goal”, did you start including almond milk in your coffee again, or have you stuck with clean fasting?

  • More than like 6 calories or so I think it is of carbs or protein. If you add pure fat your body can stay closer to a fasted state. I was warned against it when nursing by people who got super hungry nursing and had to litterally drink water while nursing. But l remember the hospital cafitria was only open from six am to 7 pm. So at least a 12 hour fast is so standard it’s not really even a thing but yet we often don’t even give ourselves that. The first few days after giving birth I needed double the food and then some put after that pretty normal. I practiced IF when son turned a month and nursed on demand round the clock with no issues. I didn’t calorie district. I found I wasn’t actually hungry I was just in the habit of eating. Found myself at the fridge noticing how many calories extra I would be consuming and took a hard pass. I really like the rythem but stuff in life changed and three years later haven’t found the right rythem for it again

  • Do natural popular fat burn secrets like Custokebon Secrets really work and if so, how effective are they? I’ve noticed several amazing things about this popular fat burn methods.

  • Another amazing vlog and truly inspiring.:) It is not too late if you have the means and determination. I’m really happy I found @t as this helped me a lot in my weight loss journey after pregnancy. I hope this will help other as well.

  • Does Custokebon Secrets really work? I notice a lot of people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets. But I’m not sure if it’s good enough to lost crazy amounts of fat.

  • omg you looked so good with the weight on too! I hope this didn’t come out the wrong way, but you looked like a young girl with a rounder face!

  • Thank you!!! I’m never hungry in the morning and I’ve never been a breakfast person. My fiancé LOVES breakfast and doesn’t get it.

  • I agree! I have also had success with IF, especially in helping me get rid of the stubborn extra baby weight. I’ve kept with it now almost two years from starting. Though I’m pretty satisfied with my body at this point, I’ll have to try the clean approach and stop adding that bit of honey and milk to my morning tea to see if I can go any further with it. But overall IF feels more natural and seems to make most sense. I just don’t think our bodies were designed to be constantly taking in fuel, and just as we need a rest from physical exertion, our bodies also need a rest from food, and that what fasting does: it provides that needed rest.

  • Thanks so much for posting this! I’ve been doing IF since January, to date I’m down 21lbs. I usually do 16 to 18 hour fast. My energy level is through the roof! I was always skeptical but now I know it works and it’s just become a way of life.

  • No one talks about the weight gain with fertility medications! I’m having a much harder time losing the weight this time (with meds) than with my first.

  • Intermittent fast has helped me lose weight. It has really made me feel amazing as a side effect
Sure there are periods that you will be hungry but no where near the hungry when you are eating regular this has been the easiest diet plan ever!!!

  • hey cute mommies! i’m Grace a mom of 3. i used to be so embarassed of my shape. but i swear to god i loose wheigt in 3 weeks without sports and now i love my body and i have been more confident so i can be a better mom. for the mommies who want to know more about my story just send me an email: [email protected] gmail.com

  • Using “mummy magic weight loss
tea” for cutting down your pregnancy weight can bring pretty healthy
changes in your weight, it is all natural herbal tea mended especially for moms
    struggling with their pregnancy weight.

  • You look great and are awesome! I’ve never hear of 8fit app but I will check it out. I have been using Tone It Up app for 2 months and I’ve lost 12 lbs and now my hubby wants baby#2 ‍♀️ so we’re going to to try and have baby #2☺️!

  • This video was in my recommended and it’s crazy to me because we both had twin girls in 2017! I ended up pregnant again in 2019 so my weight loss journey took a break, but thanks for the tips as I’m trying to lose what all my babies helped me gain.

  • I’m due tomorrow and gained 65 pounds through this pregnancy. 20 pounds in just the first few weeks of knowing I was pregnant! Water retention, blood getting thicker and I also had a condition that didn’t allow me to exercise anymore… I also ate very well! But now none of this matter: I cannot WAIT to meet my daughter in the next few days

  • Girl you said something that never occurred to me and is sooo OBVIOUS I don’t know how I I didn’t see it. I naturally fast intermittently, like, without trying to. But my poison is that creamer in my coffee during my fasting window. My brain has got to be telling my body to produce insulin and I’m not eating… wild because I bet if I switch to plain green tea, I’ll drop the little bit of 10 lbs I have left ‍♀️

  • How long did it take you to see improvement with bloating and skin clarity? I want to give it a try, but want to know how long to trial it before determining if it works for me or not.

  • Thank u for your incredible videos. My second baby is 12 days old! Also have a 3 year old and I’m super unfit. Thank u for the advice.:)

  • This video is older so you may not even see this but I’d love to see a video of what you eat in a day once you break your fast. Like do you eat what you feed your kids or make your own meal? A day in the life what i eat would be good.

  • I would actually love to hear about your GI issues. I have had issues with bloating and imbalanced for some time. Would love to know what works for you?

  • It does work. I decided to try the same, almost, system of eating, and the extra weight started going away. But you need to move a bit, at least, more than before. Just simple gymnastic you can do at home.
I am a mother of seven kids, and pretty slim.

  • Im the samei have to force myself to eat breakfast. i dont get hungry till lunch time. Ive done IF ever since i was a teen when it was part of our religion at the time. A day or 2 of no food really kick starts your metabolism, boosts HGH and all kinds of good health effects. I would drink coffee or water. It helps with insulin sensitivity as well. Helpful if your prediabetic.

  • Uh oh, I am expecting my first and started gaining baby weight after week 20!:D I think I will do the same thing I did before I got pregnant. It’s all about mostly eating lots of veggies, fruit and soups, avoiding candy and alcohol and walking outside lots! Like 20k steps walking daily.

Because lol right now I am eating a bit of this and that.. 26 weeks now and 6kilos, omg..
