    I am a shift worker, and whilst I have managed to make changes and lose around 46lbs since july last year, Im now on a plateau shifting that body fat that realllllly doesnt want to go. Having to tighten up on the clean food with a family that isnt too bothered about consuming whatever they want, and neither are too fussed about training.

  • my mother hides the scale so i don’t know my weight, i would estimate 115. I am trying to go down because that is pretty large compared to classmates. Maybe i am regular weight but everyone else is skinny.

  • I cant eat a lot at one time. But that doesn’t mean I dont eat a lot. I eat small portions of unhealthy food often through the whole day. The days I don’t have school I end up gaining weight but when I go back I lose it bc at and after school I don’t feel like eating

  • This is real story I’m not making excuse,
    I used to be really skinny because I took no interest in food, yea I would eat because my mom made me, but I never enjoyed it. I don’t have a problem, I still eat I eat ice cream once a month, but then I started having more studies, then I was like mom I’m hungry so I’m allowed to watch stuff when I eat, so I would eat even if I was super full and did not feel like eating, it became a habit after a while I ate more and actually was hungry… now I’m 1.57m 12 years old and weigh 47 kg ��

  • While I have an immense amount of respect for Arnold… Telling people who are overweight and unfit to do 200 crunches before they start the day will stop them from doing anything at all. This is because if someone is unfit, 200 may be unattainable and can also cause injury. Say something for the ordinary guy.

  • I love the part of shift work. Been shift working for 2 years now and weight loss is so hard and so temporary the second i take my eye off the ball, and in a skinny non training partner and working 55 hrs a week on average in a hospital and it’s basically impossible sometimes!!

  • I’m the second and last. And can tell you…it’s discipline. Saying no, and be almost authistic. It works for me. It’s almost being in survivalmode, see it as a journey and your Indiana Jones Looking for the magic six pack.

  • The real way to loose weight with minimal effort:
    1. Don’t eat processed food
    2. Don’t eat too much sugar
    3. Stay hydrated and drink WATER
    4. Have a proper sleeping routine
    5. Eat from smaller plates.
    6. Find a sport that you might enjoy e.g. dance, rock climbing, skipping, yoga etc
    7. Become pescatarian

    You don’t necessarily need to do all of them but these most certainly help, or atleast helped me.

    at the end of the day calories in should be less than calories out
    Even if you eat carbs but low calories throughout the day then the body will use the fat even when not doing workout

    However according to Ayurved one should do cardio on empty stomach

  • My mom used to make a tea with ginger, turmeric and lemon and she lost 20 pounds in like 3 months. No diet change or exercise needed.

  • Wow, I was only 70 lbs less than Arnold when I did a 505 Squat a year out of High School! I have gotten out of shape in last 27 yrs…so I think I will start the crunches and all he just said…Thanks Arnold…

  • Very interesting to have realistic timeframes laid out. I also didn’t know 3500cals = 1lb fat. And finally, loosing weight before going on holiday now seems that little bit more difficult �� I need to up my game!
