  • Omg, I am currently trying to lose weight and I feel a difference but I don’t see one quite yet. I went from eating so many high sugary processed foods, consuming thousands of calories a day, to eating 1500 calories and healthy Whole unprocessed Foods. My digestive has cleared up(I everyday verses what I used to go, like once a week) and I feel more energized.

  • Cut as much salt, sugars, carbs and starches as you can. Moderation is the key.
    If you starve the body too much, you will go into withdrawals and that will make you overdo worse than you did before. Walking and bike riding are great.

  • I think this video is very educational if your smart enough for it. Maybe for all those that didn’t understand he should have said that the cup represents the amount of energy for a typical person. Someone who is extremely inactive would have a cup more the size of a shot glass where as someone who is extremely active like a body builder or pro athletes their cup would be more like a big gulp. However these more active body conscience people probably don’t eat empty carbs like cinnamon rolls

  • Meat is foreign to our bodies. If we didn’t season and cook meat, we wouldn’t eat it. That is why animals like lions, tigers etc, can eat meat, because they got the teeth, they got the digestive system and they eat it raw. Just saying. Eating meat is not natural, although myself eats shrimp and tuna. I don’t eat much turkey or chicken because it disgusts me.

  • there are people who eat less then 700 calories a day and they are 250 pounds+. just google it, google a lot. reddit, w.e.. Plateaued on a diet with carbs, because its about hormones homie.

  • I STAY around 10-14% bodyfat year long and eat at LEAST one “bean protein meal” DAILY.  (An egg white/oats meal, fish/asparagus or broccoli meal and protein powder meal replacement make up my other meals.  I’ve had that diet for almost 6 years now.  Videos like this should SOLELY be viewed as “another dietary OPTION” that works for SOME people.  There are MANY dietary plans that “work”.  Just find the one that works FOR YOU>> (your body type, your goals ETC)

  • I absolutely cannot cut on carbs, i would never feel satiated and would be hungry and miserable all day and end up binging every night. I started the keto diet and now i need to remind myself to eat, im always satiated and full of energy, no cravings, steady flow of energy throughout the day without crashes, lifting heavier in the gym despite being on a deficit, I’m getting so dry and shredded Its ridiculous. At the end of the day the best diet is one you can adhere to, and for me and many others that is the ketogenic diet.

  • This is crap, it is not the same eating 10g and 100 grams of sugar, its not like your body will go ok we have 10 grams 6grams is for energy and 4 grams is for fat, or the other way around if u eat 100 grams, it takes how much it needs, if u consume 40 and the body needs it when you exercise it will not take only 60% or 24 grams it will take it all

  • Excellent, I somehow learned these things in my 30’s…but when you hit 60, the metab. slows alot….SO!!! Nowadays, i still avoid the processed junk, but i fast from breakfast until dinner. Right before the gym, I will have a cinamon roll, or muffin(I know, superprocessed)..but then i burn that off in my weight workout…so far i am down to 150 lbs. and my abs are starting to show again!!

  • Marc I repsect the heck out of your videos and have for years. Recently alot of reserach has came back on positive effects of a ketogenic diet. Even a renowned professor and PHD who has done research on keto diet has stated that each body is different but there is plenty of good information on the keto diet. He did a podcast with Joe Rogan on the keto diet and i think its something that would be of interest to you.
