Decide which healthy meals and snacks you love, then go ahead and eat them as often as you like. “Relying on the same nutritious foods over and over is an easy way to keep your weight steady because it takes all the guesswork out of the process,” says Lauren Slayton, R.D.N., the founder of Foodtrainers in New York City and the author of The Little Book of Thin. 2. Eat moderately and often. You don’t need that many extra calories per day to nourish your growing baby. Current guidelines call for 340 extra calories per day in your second trimester and 450 extra calories per day in your third trimester if you’re starting pregnancy at a healthy weight. Most will gain 2 to 4 pounds (1 to 2 kilograms) during the first trimester, and then 1 pound (0.5 kilogram) a week for the rest of the pregnancy. The amount of weight gain depends on your situation. To avoid weight gain, experts recommend adding 2,000 steps a day to your routine, doing strength training two to three times a week, and shaving 100 calories from your diet each day.

  • I’m actually losing weight, because these people keep panic buying all the food. I don’t want to lose weight so this is starting to irritate me.

  • 1: I live in an apartment and am unable to exercise at home at all because people are working from home, i live on the top floor. And my mom has fragile items everywhere This is no excuse i literally cannot move in the house without risking stuff falling and breaking. Which is the point of me getting a gym membership. I am beyond depressed because i am unable to do any of this. Got laid off too so i am unable to afford bells or ropes.
    2: Unable to do push ups.
    3: I puke when drinking apple cider vinegar.
    4: In what? This is kind of weird…I can’t add cinnamon to food so how would you add this?
    5: I have MCT oil but my stomach reacts really bad to this. I don’t have the money to invest in powder. I’ll try to lower the dosage but I’m also not on keto. Being stuck at home is the worst thing for me, I have no self control food is always and constantly on my mind. I know it isn’t because i am hungry but i have a really bad problem with this. I really need help, no joke i’m being 100% serious.

    7: This is even harder. I am prone to eating when bored. I keep myself busy with games or watching my show but it makes it worst. THIS is why this lock down sucks. Being at school and at work is my only chance to fast and keep on a diet.
    9: Impossible. I’m usually up late so i tend to eat late. I tend to eat one big meal about 8pm but snacks about 10pm. I snack during the day whenever i get bored. This is why this lock down sucks i cannot control myself it sucks i don’t understand. This is seriously making me depressed.

    11: Check. Drinking plenty of water and green tea.
    12: Very expensive and no self control on nuts as snacks. Don’t have the money for this.

    I really hate making excuses but i really have no money for these vitamins etc. I’m also unable to exercise in my apartment, never have. When me and my mom tried the motion would cause the glasses my mom has in display to knock over. A disaster! Plus people can hear jumps and steps. This lock down is really putting me in a bad place. I absolutely hate myself because i am unable to control myself. I was planning on talking to my doctor about this and going to a food addiction group but this happened almost as soon as i finally realized i had an issue. I’ve done so many diets and nothing worked. Keto was perfect for a month and so was water fasting and omad but only when im emotionally check and motivated. I’ve gone through so much end 2019 and start of 2020 I’ve been so low. The gym and my success in jogging 3 miles, building my strength and endurance was all i had but of course this happened. I’m so utterly….defeated.

    1. No snacking. 2. I don’t drink calories, just water and tea sometimes. 3. Exercise everyday (cardio, strength training, flexibility) 4. Get proper sleep. 5. Intermittent Fasting I eat all of my calories from the mid morning late afternoon and I’m done for the day. Considering all that’s going on in the world right now I feel amazing and have a ton of energy!

  • I appreciate this video! During quarantine, because of your videos, I did two tricks. I bought the SMEG instant water kettle which is so cool looking. I fill it and start it while I’m having my 1 cup coffee with coconut milk. Then, I whisk my matcha with my bamboo whisk. I add 1T. honey or maple syrup And pour it over tons of ice in my giant ball jar with Tazo chai latte and plain water and almond or oat milk with a cinnamon stick. I sip on it all day with my bamboo straw. It’s cold and refreshing, a little sweet and it keeps me from snacking all day long.

  • Do this to stop food cravings. I keep a container of cooked brown rice in my fridge at all times. Another container has a mixture of black beans and dark red kidney beans. Another container has a mixture of corn and green beans. When I need a snack, I scoop out some rice, add some of the beans and corn mixtures, then stir in chunky Salsa. Throw this in the microwave for 2 minutes and enjoy. This stops all cravings in its tracks AND you’re putting healthy food in your body.

I was walking 3 miles outside since the studio closed, but still gained about 15 pounds now, my clothes are soooo tight now.   • I only eat in front of a screen two nights out of the whole week, and that’s it. But it’s only for muscle performance for heavy yard work of the next day. I only eat light carb foods then, like popcorn, rice cakes, and any other light snack foods.

    I understand that drinking Apple cider vinegar might have some health benefits but drinking with every meal (several times per day) is VERY DANGEROUS as it destroys teeth enamel (ACV is an acid!)��. Please don’t encourage people to do this and do your research. It’s not worth it to loose 1 extra pound if you will do irreversible damage to your teeth ��. Guys, please do your research about this ��
