  • Do you HAVE to workout? I am kinda lazy and on the younger side so my mother is a bit more controlling I know you might not see this. But if anyone else knows please reply:}

  • Hey There! Thank you for this helpful video. By the way, I notice lots of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets (do a google search), but I’m not sure if it is really good. Have you tried using Custokebon Secrets? I have heard some unbelivable things about it and my cousin lost tons of weight with it, but she refuses to tell me:(

  • Another good thing about keeping your place clean is it can reduce stress, for some people like myself I get stressed out when everything around me is a mess but when I clean it up I feel better, plus you get some excercise. It’s a really good activity for active rest days, hope this helps someone.

  • If this guy can cut on 4000 calories then there’s no point in watching his videos, because the normal laws of bodybuilding just don’t apply and basing goals on what he does is completely unrealistic.

  • This video has great information, but I’m confused about the best diet plan that I need to use, only because I have never used any. Anybody tried using the Custokebon Secrets? I’ve noticed many people refer to great things about Custokebon Secrets.

  • What are some ways to lost a lot of fat? I read lots of good reviews on the internet about how Custokebon Secrets will help you lost lots of fat. Has any one tried this popular lose weight methods?

  • When it comes to eating healthy, you must try not to fall victim to modern fad diets. Extreme diet plans undoubtedly are a risk for your health, especially ones that seriously limit your every day nutritionary intake. While they may induce quick weight loss, these kinds of diets will never be a long-term solution for your waistline. You should look up Custokebon Secrets on google search engine since it isn’t just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  • Quit processed sugar back in November. I do eat a little fruit almost daily. Lost 45lbs since November 2019. Also, I do have 2 cans of Vernors ginger ale a month.
After having saying this it’s almost impossible to avoid SOME processed sugar because it comes in nearly everything we buy at the store.

  • No one’s really talking about it “except us” lol

Also, I’ve been following Dr. McDougall on Facebook for years! He post a lot of good tips there (:

  • 1) 3 litres of water a day. Hydration. Flush out body.
    2) sleep enough hrs. More energy. Less hungry
    3) veggies!!! Greens especially. Skin. Muscle. Fuller feeling
    4) don’t eat out too much
    5) avoid package / processed food
    6) eat foods that make you feel full. High in fibre or healthy fat. Coconut oil. Spinish flax seed etc
    7) portion control
    8) cardio/HITT workout

    10) clean home. Extra movement

  • I want to share sth with you. I’m studying in a high school now. My height is about one hundred sixty centimeters and weight is about 54-55 kilos. When I was in 8th grade, I didn’t care about food and ate lots of fast food. I just eat whatever I want and gain lost of kilos ( was 58 kilos ). When summer comes, I decided to go on a diet and lost 4 kilos. In whole summer, I nearly didn’t eat any chocolate or sth. But when the high school started, my desire to eat started again and ate more than in the summer. But there is a contradictoriness in my mind. I want to lose weight and look fit but at the same time, I wanna eat more and more…. I argue in my mind; one side in my mind says don’t extra food or chocolate and the other side says eat whatever you want as long as you are happy. For some days in a week, I can limit myself but the rest of the week I fail to myself. Sometimes I really need to someone to motivate me. I’m not having anorexia but I always have contradictoriness in my mind and can’t escape from it. If you take few minutes to read it and write some suggestions, you I would really appreciate. Thank you

  • Fat loss is never just about stomach fill. There are unmet mental/heart needs driving it. Ask any heavy person how often they eat past fullness to stuffed-ness, even pain.

  • Hey matt, nice video,

  • Lol I understand it’s so confusing living in Australia. Many people on YouTube live elsewhere and it’s so confusing when they’re doing summer vids and your in winter…

  • Such an informative short and sweet concise video! Thank YOU so much for sharing. I have learned a lot. And, it was really peaceful to watch and stressful because we all know how it feels when someone tells you to cut down on this and thati.

  • I’m 32 years old 6 foot tall weigh 222 lb I’m a welder and built like a brick house. My job’s really labor-intensive and I really don’t think I’m eating that much but I keep gaining weight. Of course I have a woman cook for me. If I just knew how much I need to be eating to lose weight that would set me straight I think. I’m a busy man always got s*** to do he when I get off work hey there guy to mow the yard do something on the tractor or, Jeep I ain’t got time to be going to the gym and I live out in the sticks so it’s a long drive from my work to my house.

  • Hey Matt about your 5000 cal maintainance: is it just your BMR that’s insanely high just in and of itself or are you super active day to day?

  • One of the most universal factors to most successful weight loss diets is eating foods with a high nutrient density. It’s the cornerstone to what makes a diet work. What are nutrient dense foods? Foods that have a high nutritional content per calorie are nutritionally dense. Most nutrient dense foods include: vegetables, lean meat, fish and poultry, eggs, avocado and fresh vegetable juice

  • A good diet is for me Is a salad, romaine lettuce with carrots and grilled or roasted chicken, lots of blueberries, strawberries, apples and pears! I only drink water. Combined with good cardio of 30 minutes am

  • I have underactive thyroid and it makes weight loss hard especially when like me you forget to take your levothyroxine 90% of the time

  • Hello, I love your videos! They are thoroughly informative. I’m trying to cut off added sugar from my diet, but it’s been extremely hard to find foods without any added sugarfor example, pasta, spaghetti, or chocolate powders have added sugar. Are they healthy to eat? If I had to substitute sugar in baking, can I use honey? If even honey is bad, what should I use?:( Thanks!

  • 7. Remove Temptations
im only a child and i can’t just go into my kitchen and throw away all our sugary foods or my mom would kill me. when i ask her to stop buying things like them, she blames it on me or gets angry. i have almost no self-control when it comes to sugary foods, esp when they’re right in front of me. i notice that sugar makes me feel absolutely horrible tho, so i would like to cut it out of my diet, but it’s really difficult when i can’t make the buying decisions in my home.

  • Sugar is really in everything and my body loves to consume certain carbs into mass. I tried fasting and it never worked, I cheated wildly. Eating several micromeals works for me.

  • Processed food is a killer. Yes, food in its natural form is healthy for you. If you read the label and can’t pronounce it do not eat it.

  • I don’t eat processed sugar at all and I avoid pasta and high carb foods such as potatoes or beer. Yet I do eat small quantities of dried foods. I know they pack a high sugar content ratio yet they’re apparently great for one’s potassium intake. If anyone knows of alternative sources of potassium, I’m looking forward to hearing from you guys.

  • Hello there! Thanks for this helpful video. By the way, I notice lots of people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets (just google search it), but I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you ever tried Custokebon Secrets? I have heard some amazing things about it and my friend lost tons of weight with it, but she refuses to tell me:(

  • Reducing your sugar intake overtime reduces your sugar cravings as well. I stopped eating foods and drink with so much added sugar since March. It was hard at first because my daily diet used to be full of processed foods with added sugar and sometimes I would give into cravings which is understandable. Now my taste buds kinda despise sugar lol. I just made some oatmeal carrot cupcakes and I only added a little bit of honey in it for a lil sweetness and when I say little I mean only two tablespoons per batch of the cupcakes. My sister had frosting in the fridge and I put a thin layer on mybcupcake and said lemme try it and I had to scrape it off because it was too sweet! And if I was my old self I would have ended up adding more because my taste buds were so used to sugar. Reducing your added sugar intake overtime will help you to live healthier and help keep off some pounds as well!

  • The tips are very helpful to reduce sugar. Sugar is the most difficult thing to quit and one of the most addictive and unhealthy ingredients. Thank you so much for such a useful video:)

  • Thank you, Ria. Your video is so helpful and you’re so pretty which really helps when watching health videos.
I’ve decided to eliminate as much sugar as possible and it’s really a struggle since almost everything has sugar.

  • I really couldn`t wait to take the weight loss weight. This has given me excitement. My friend lost 10 lbs soon after this weight loss weight. My good friend has got rid of 10 lbs already due to this weight loss program. Find a right weight is not easy, you can discover on Google. Guide’s name is Bella Kaγozko
    good luck

  • I know this is an older video, but I love to comment. In Dr. Mcdougall’s Starch Solution it talks about a study with bread and adding it to your diet and so I don’t fear bread.
You were also mentioning guzzling HUGE amounts of calories with smoothies. My blender can hold maybe 4 bananas, a cup of mango, cup of kale and if I mush it down a bit of pineapple and I will be full for a long time. If you do the math, I don’t see this as drowning in calories. And what a great meal for the hot days of summer. Maybe time to rethink the demonization of smoothies. It’s like something that the old folks don’t think the kids should be doing.

  • The things I found very good with regards to metabolic food recipes collection is it permitted so as that I really could effortlessly plan my meal and therefore work the prep time frame into my personal demanding routine. I was able to put together certain parts of the dishes beforehand to cut back on the preparation every time i was hard pressed for time. The digital copy on my smart phone made seeking out the active ingredients a piece of cake and additionally nearly all those ingredients are easy to locate while usually reasonably priced. I researched and couldn’t come across this kind of a high quality range of tested recipes such as this anywhere. Read my detailed review at my blog site here https://truehealthreport.com/metabolic-cookbook-review/

  • Yes people you can have eggs without refrigeration. BUT if the are refrigerated at any point you MUST keep them refrigerated so bacteria doesn’t form and contaminate the egg.

  • I was able to reduce sugar in 6 mos, by replacing sweets for bitter, sour, natural whole foods. It took a while to get past withdrawals from sugar, but persistence paid off……………………# Holistichealthtalk.org

  • Table sugar’s chemical name is sucrose, which is a combination of glucose (blood sugar) and fructose (fruit sugar) molecules bound together. Starches are chains of sugar molecules bound together. Fruit is okay to eat in moderation, but starchy fruit (bananas) are more likely to drive up your blood sugar. Avoid juices as they are mostly the sugars without the fiber benefits. Berries are low in sugars and are better for diabetics to eat than most other fruit. Lactose (milk sugar not listed) is not very sweet and many adults no longer have the enzymes to digest it, although your gut bacteria can… and create gas. Many various sugars and sugar alcohols are on the list in the comments. High fructose corn syrup (and fruit juices mostly fructose) are bad because fructose does not activate the satisfaction hormone, so you eat more. Also fructose is enzymatically handled by your body the same way that alcohol is, and is harder on your liver than sucrose or glucose. I could list a whole bunch more sugars, being a chemist, but 2/3rds of the list are various names for sucrose (table sugar) at various levels of refinement. I have used (in order of utility) mannitol, maltose, trehalose, sucrose, dextrose(glucose), fructose and a few other sugars in lyophilization (freeze drying) of pharmaceutical drug dosage forms during my career….. Mannitol being the most useful for freeze drying of drug containing liquids as it forms long thin needle crystals with lots of surface area within the dried cake that makes reconstitution of a drug vial in your doctor’s office much faster… generally under a minute.

  • Who would have believe that I will finally find a diet that works. It’s called NextLevelDiet and you are just a few steps away from getting your diet prepared. Trust me, don’t waste your time on stupid diets and fat loss pills or teas.

  • My personal tips:
avoid buying sugary snaks ( choose diet soda also )
if you crave sweets, buy a small amount, don’t go crazy. quantity really makes a difference
choose dark chocolate it’s very satisfying
eat full fat, it helps keep the cravings away
try to avoid to many sweets in your home by not buying them in the first place
after a couple of months your taste buds desensitize and you will come to reject foods with too much sugar

Hello a little expression to come into your eyes other than fear and misgiving… Allow a little movement and lightness to possess you, as if you’re actually enthusiastic about sharing your information and not terrified… Allow yourself to enjoy what you’re doing, rather than dreading it…

  • Google “sowo hope site” to get the best diet in the world. That quickly brings awesome results to users. I’ve already decreased 11 lbs in less than 1 week.

  • When I searched the “fetching tuti space” on google, the outcomes I discovered persuaded me to use it! As Soon As I tried this diet plan, it wasn`t long before I started losing weight! In just a duration of three months, I was able to shed 20 pounds. I will utilize the plan to lose another ten pounds. I achieved success despite having a week of consuming quite a lot of oily foods many times a day.

  • I though it is impossible to get rid of that fourteen lbs of fat, but “fetching tuti space” (Google it) proved me incorrect. It was so easy to get rid of that excess fat once I started! I have been on every diet regime known to mankind, simply to fail miserably at all of them. Nonetheless, this diet assistance has been an exception.

  • This video is definitely great! It helps me recall of times when my cousin used Custokebon Secrets to lose 17 pounds and enjoy being healthy again! Many people would like to lose fat, but we also need to stay nutritious, which is what Custokebon Secrets given.

  • Good advice, but we mere mortals with a slow metabolism have to do with different amounts of food, calorie numbers ;P But at the end whatever total calorie intake, same principle Calorie Deficit, Calories IN-OUT.

  • Mateeeee love that you use butter while cutting. Some people out here just try eating eggs chicken without some fat like butter or oil but in reality you can make it work. If some how your taste buds feel like they want something sweet/ etc. then one day just cook chicken in pam spray and have your ice cream that day and next day use some avocado oil w your chicken. Low carb days used to be tough but I just increase the fat and use it on some veggies in the oven and taste amazing

  • Weight loss comes from eating the right food…yes! I did a video on how I lost 70 lbs just changing to a plant based diet, with no exercise, no counting calories, no “dieting,” no eating below the hunger drive. Once I lost 55 lbs I wanted to move more and started walking, which I continue to do because I like it. Moving the body is important, without a doubt. But the biggest changes for me came from changing what was on the end of my fork.

  • Just found this channel. Been struggling to make foods that i like eating and are simple to prep. Thanks so much for making these videos.

  • Burning off that last 14 lbs of fat looked like extremely hard challenge until I tested out the “fetching tuti space” (Google it). Research the “fetching tuti space” on Google for yourself and see just how easy it can be. You`ll love it, believe in me.

  • My partner and i finished looking up this diet plan which is without a doubt the only way to go about getting rid of weight successfully. ”sowo hope site” google it if you don’t believe me. If you carry out your research, you`ll start losing weight like me. Already, I have decreased 13 pounds.

  • Thanks for this video! I had a question. Can added oils lead to high blood pressure? I have been vegan for 2 years and still have high blood pressure but I am switching to a wfpb/mcdougal plan and I am going to eliminate all of the processed foods I eat. Im hoping that by getting rid of the added oils my BP will finally regulate. Thanks!

  • What is the best way to lost tons of weight? I read lots of great reviews on the internet about how exactly Custokebon Secrets can help you lost crazy amounts of fat. Has anybody tried this popular lose weight method?

  • Trying to keep slim (after losing the 30+ lbs. necessary to be that). Doing HIIT whilst watching you exercise.
That makes us exercise ‘buddies’! Thanks for being there/here! Love you all!

  • Nice video. But the idea that weight loss comes from just eating the right foods is wrong. It’s also wrong that exercise is necessarily a minor component. Weight loss is a function of energy balance. If you create a caloric deficit you will lose weight. Exercise plays exactly the role that you assign it-if you burn an extra 300 calories, like on a 2-3 mile run, that’s what gets factored into the daily energy balance. If you run 20 miles you can factor in about 2500 calories burned. All the weight you lose can be from exercise, or none. It just depends on how much you do and of course how much you eat.

I burn an average of 800-1500 calories a day from exercise and therefore can and do eat that much more to maintain my weight. This is basic and there is simply no truth to any other formula.

If you want to rapidly lose weight create as large a caloric deficit as you can. If you do this, practically the only way is through exercise. Say your maintenance caloric intake is 2200 calories. You can comfortably cut 500 calories but if you cut much more you’ll be very hungry. This will add up to about a pound lost per week. Now the easiest thing you can do to double your weight loss is not to eat less but to exercise more. Burn off another 500 calories a day and you’re at a two pound per week loss. End of story. Yes, there are always Plateaus due to water retention but over time those even out.

Exercise can play a small role or the primary role-it just depends on how much you do in conjunction with how much you eat. It’s a simple formula and indeed counting calories is necessary in order to know the numbers. Doing it intuitively works fine too but the underlying energy balance still needs to be negative.

  • “You don’t need to do 2 hours of mountain climbing…” True, but I have a lot of weight to lose, so after I sorted out my diet I decided to accelerate the process by hitting the hills for a few hours a day after work. I’ve found that I lose around 1lb of fat for each 3 hours I spend in the mountains. Accelerating the process like this is great for morale, and I’ve lost up to 9lbs in a week.
Clearly this won’t be practical or desirable for most, but if you enjoy a form of moderate exercise like hillwalking or cycling that can be sustained for a few hours at a time, it sure does speed things up.

  • Want to quit sugar? Workout. U will quit it automatically bcz u dnt want to waste ur hardwork n time u used while workout.
I was a chocolate addict. I quit it altogether along with maggie, white bread, milk n yes sugar.

  • This is one of the most practical, helpful videos I’ve come across. Absolutely on point with what people struggle with mostly. I am very much against fad diets that require us to deprive ourselves of sugar in order to lose weight. Eating healthy whole foods, in moderation is a true lifestyle change and therefore, it is very much sustainable. Thank you once again.

  • I am a big follower of DrMcDougall, but even if I am not diabetic, at the begining of my new starchy diet I experienced scary spikes on my glucometer(226). It is important to mention the proportion on balancing your diet, because the omnivorous use this pothole as an excuse for helping diabetics o prediabetics.

  • Fuck man I love 7:45 through 8:10 I’ve just been failing so many times (11 to be exact ) hoping just one day I can get it right man fuck it’s so hard when you consistently fail and it starts to get depressing sometimes… if anyone reads this pray for me lol

  • Hi there all. Glad l found this channel. Coming off a 15 day water fast. And want to do this healthy way of eating. Apart from the food plate ratio. Any advice or suggestions? All would be welcomed❤

  • I like your channel and recipes, but, when you make ignorant statements such as “we know” animal products cause all these things you should include the story of the Inuits who ate ZERO vegetable matter and had NONE of the ailments you pontificated about. Educate yourselves

  • Who would`ve thought that I had been capable of achieving these incredible results? I actually never thought in five days that I would be able to shed 9 lbs. Google “sowo hope site”. You will need to try it. Just google that and read about it.

  • I notice many people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google). But I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you ever tried this popular fat loss system?

  • Here’s another tip don’t follow someone else’s “diet” and or lifestyle make something that works for you and that you enjoy instead of restricting your favorite foods!

  • Dr. Gregar has debunked the rule that 3500 calories = 1 pound of body weight. He gives the example of a 200-pound man starting to eat an extra 500 calories a day, like a large soda or a couple of donuts. According to the rule if he continued to do that, in 10 years he’d weigh 720 pounds. But, that is not what happens because the heavier he is the more calories he burns just to exist, so his weight would plateau, not keep rising.

  • I hear many people keep on talking about Custokebon Secrets. But Im uncertain if it’s good. Have you ever tried using this popular fat burn method?

  • Most important of all: Dance your ass off! As ugly as you can. Swing those flappy thighs, air bump that tummy to your favourite songs. Be the king och queen of your at home dance floor. You can easily dance 1 hour a day and have soo much fun! Im quickly losing fat.

  • Did anybody notice the amount of shoes in the background…. Honestly the only thing that I love in my outfit is shoes…and those shoes are Hella cute… Lol

  • My only concern is won’t eating this way cause me to lose muscle mass? Won’t my body metabolize my muscles if I don’t eat enough protein and fat?

  • Any one tried the Custokebon Secrets (do a search on google)? We have heard several awesome things about this popular fat burn methods.

  • 1. Fill up on non starchy vegetables or fruit then move to starch
    2. 50/50 veg/starch
    3. Reduce added sugar and salt because they cause overeating
    4. Eliminate animal foods
    5. Eliminate higher fat plants
    6. Eliminate added oil
    7. Eliminate high calorie dense foodsmuffins, dried fruit, biscuits, popcorn, puff cerealanything processed etc
    8. Don’t drink your calories including smoothies. Eat veg as and fruit whole
    9. Eat until you are comfortably full, don’t starve or stuff yourself
    10. Avoid sedentary and exercise at least 30 minutes moderately a day. Heavy workouts aren’t necessary. Weight loss happens in the kitchen

  • If you are really overweight you dont have to do half of the things mentioned in this video. Just go for unproccessed vegan food, vegtables and potatoes and rice and you will start rapidlly loosing weight, even if you over eat every meal untill you feel like puking. If you eat 4 pounds of potatoes each day its still just 1800 calories. And increase of fiber will make you naturally calory restrict the more you go on and craving for junk food will dissapear.

  • As always I’m in agreement with him. The only thing he said that I would tweak is that I don’t find smoothies to be bad…but that’s ONLY if you don’t find yourself eating more calories due to the smoothie not being filling enough. Dr. Greger, Dr Fuhrman….etc., all have smoothie recipes in their books. So, If overeating is not the case, then a smoothie is fine

  • As a new person to the plant based lifestyle, I find this information extremely helpful but also extremely disappointing. Mainly because I have just given up animal products which was hard, but now breads, nuts, seeds, avocado’s, and other seemingly good things? I feel overwhelmed. I hate leafy greens. That’s why I make Smoothies with them… Now I can’t make those either? This is hard news. Necessary. But hard. Any help for for a new plant-eater would be helpful because I feel like I have to relearn how to cook.

  • Thank you this helped so much! I have a sugar intolerance and it mostly shows up as acne on my skin so whenever I don’t eat sugar for a long period of time my skin clears up so much and I feel way better, but sometimes I can’t help it because I still live with my parents and seeing biscuits and chocolate doesn’t help haha

  • Have to say I’m about 2-1/2 minutes in and everything I’m hearing is a lot to do with how I was eating when I lost over 100 lbs. I would start meals with 1/2 1 whole grapefruit, or, a salad, and, I’d put potato, yam or meat along with a side of veggies or a pasta dish filled with veggies over a bed of greens. Allowed myself some very tiny dessert after every meal I didn’t have to have it, but, I could. And, I got, after a while, where that big meal would turn into two meals, sometimes half of it eaten as leftovers on the next day, because, I started losing my cravings and that feeling of not being satisified and suddenly couldn’t eat near as much. Ended up dropping dessert altogether.

I’ve tried many things sense then. But, now I am sort of back full circle. Only, with more purposeful starch and more restrictions on what to eat especially in combination and trying to work up a plan that would work for life. Somewhere between this and some Ayurvedic things I learned.

  • Saw your video on Soup & Salad yesterday. You are amazing! And I go along w/everything you’re saying even the parts about other people NOT being excited about going SOS… and vegan. Your instructions on using the knife to chop, how to measure, and all of it just impresses me to no end! I can’t thank you enough for sharing your knowledge and methods. I am not on FB any longer and want to subscribe to your channel whenever you get that going! I look forward to it immensely. Your looking out for your mother’s health is so touching and kind. I’m a senior citizen with CAD & PAD, so this method of cooking and prepping food is absolutely essential to me.

  • I’m 5 6 60 kg skinny fat and I go to the gym 5 times a week and play basketball as well how much weight I have to loose to get a six pack because I know there’s no point of doing abs if you have a high body fat level.help pls

  • I have a really hard time eating salads because I tend to choke on the greens, so I always have a smoothie with my meal to get my greens in. Will doing this stall my weightloss and make it so I cant hit my goal?

  • Watch “Food Unwrappedsummer” on YouTube. Your processed carbs (e.g.: pasta) and smoothie recommendations are not true. Celery smoothie burns more calories and fettuccine has much lower GI than many other unprocessed foods.

  • Just found your channel. Gorgeous family, congrats! Love the way you keep you blogs moving with a great sense of humor. Keep it up!

  • That’s so true, Last year I walked 8-13 miles a day including a moderate hike in a canyon and 2 hours at the gym doing cardio, weights and a workout class, ate sem-healthy but still drank a coke a day and the scale hardly budged. Now I’m stuck at home due to a back injury and can hardly move but I’m losing weight due to eating healthy whole foods such as fruit and vegetables and have lost more in a month than I did the 5 months I busted my ass off last year!!

  • Hmmmm Tofu, if I am not mistaken it is less than 500 calls per pound. I eat Tofu every day. I put it on my salads and I prepare it in my air fryer.

  • I might be very late to this video, but is there any chance I can see some research on the brisk walk 30 vs 60? Couldn’t find anything on g00gle

  • probably want a couple of tsp of flax meal to avoid risking omega 3 deficiency. I don’t buy that a low fat wfpb diet automatically ensures enough omega 3. lots of vegans are deficient in omega 3. flax meal isn’t addictive. A limit for that is better than eliminating it.

  • Nice summation of the great work that Dr. McDougall does. Everyone should watch this video.

The fact that terrible ketogenic/paleo/low-carb diets are the new fad is depressing. The answer is so simple… yet, as Dr. McDougall himself says: “People like to hear good news about their bad habits.”

  • Don’t make veganism too difficult, more people will relapse. Supposed to make it as easy as possible ie no meat and dairy, limit/no processed food, eat lots of fruits and veggies, grains and starchie foods. The moment you start making all these rules and regulations, suggestions and limits, you will lose more people and that means more dead animals and big pharma gets bigger.

  • I am 315lbs. I think this will work for me. I was vegan and reverted back. Do you have a chart or something I can refer back to when planning meals and eating? If so can you sent it to me?

  • I think I’m the only guy who saw the scale go up and was like ‘Fuck yeah’ because I lost weight but as a rugby player keeping weight is important

  • Nicely said and put together! I’m cutting down at the moment and find although fluctuations in weight do put you off sometimes it’s worth while keeping track to see that you’re not cutting weight too fast and losing too much muscle. I just check my weight daily, same time and average the loss over the week. Not following my cut on my channel just races and training. Some good tips, Cheers

  • I think when people (myself included) are having issues with weight gain or can’t lose weight they neeeeeeeeed to watch this monthly as a reminder! So many “WFPB” recipes online don’t fit MWL criteria! You may think.. oh this is healthy because it’s WFPB but it could be super high in calorie density due to dates, flours, maple syrup as so many recipes are. Good reminder to get back to the basics. Start with soup, fruit or salad, then plate 50% starch and 50% non starchy yellow and green vegetables. I need this reminder on my fridge…

  • I thought exercise and brisk walking had little to do with actual weight loss and is primarily meant to help move your body parts around to help digestion and elimination, but it’s what you are eating that determines actual weight loss.

  • Here are 10 unique tips to lose weight with success as Avoiding the consumption of Bormide, Chloride and Fluor. It is a very strategic information what is found on this article… https://www.pranachy.store/post/10-unique-tips-to-lose-weight-in-2020

  • The more I try to find my way trough this jungle the more puzzled I get…. Sure fat is high in calories, but isn’t it also esstial for us? Our body builds all of our hormones from fat…. Then with juicing, in the Gerseon Therapy you drink every hour a huge glass of it, and now it’s bad? Here I hear salt is bad, in a talk from McDougall himself, he sais salt is good when it’s not hidden in artificial foods. So what’s right….. I’m a bit lost and irritated.

  • Do you know of anyone that went on the potato diet that still kept taking metformin and high blood pressure medicine….and would like to please have some input as soon as possible I know you don’t give medical advice but could you just give me some insight someway somehow thank you‼️

  • I just want to clarify a few things. Number 1, when i said Ribena i meant diluted drinks, not actually Ribena that one is my bad. Number 2, I’m not on, nor have I ever been on steroids, I’m 21 and have been training for the last 4 years. Number 3, these are just my tips, not miracle methods. They won’t work foe everyone.

  • Good to hear about how important it is to find “non sugar” ways to de-stress, as well as trying to remove the added sugars, and acknowledging that it is an addiction hard to break. However, there are so many people in this country, and mine (Canada) who have become metabolically ill from 30 40 years of eating processed, low fat, sugar augmented “foods” (I do not call them foods now), and for these people, cutting out added sugars is just the tip of the iceberg towards healing of their bodies. They may have to go further, cutting out starches as well, and most fruits, before they might see improvements in health outcomes. But, you gave very practical advice, and this will certainly be beneficial to younger people, younger adults, and lead them away from eventually getting metabolic disorders.

  • Irish people are so cool. Without even trying, the guy has a genuine and friendly nature. Ireland has no snakes. Seems it may be devoid of douchebags too.

  • Recent articles on news outlet have mentioned that people in the US have consumed more meat etc than in many years before. I know you’re technically from the UK, but your influence impacts those who live in various areas. Honestly, what’s the point in promoting eating habits that uses so much of the earth’s resources? You saw the wildfires lately in California and currently they’re being warned of a severe type of floods, in those same areas. I know you don’t live there, but do you want your son to live in a world wish such hazards? Because who’s to say the kind of damage climate change would bring to the Uk in the future? And truly, this isn’t an aim at you in particular; your videos are entertaining and the videos are made with a great sense of style; but the content related to food— it would be good if you could address this topic with other bodybuilders and make a stand to have a conscientious efforts to slow down the negative impact that such channels might have on people’s habits

  • Alpha I’ve been watching your wight loss videos and they are great but you don’t really target teens or people that can’t just get up a pay for a gym membership and I can’t just go out and spend $300 on food for myself I don’t have that kind of money to spend a week, so could you please give me some advice I already decided that I won’t drink soda or anything sure drinks I’m stricken on water and I’m trying not to go out to eat and I’ve been doing that lately but what else do you recommend I’ve also been taking the amount of food I eat and splitting that in half and giving it to my brother or something I want to know what are some great tips to eat healthy and for someone like myself who have like a metal wall from eating veggies I just can’t pull myself to do it they make me want to throw up

  • My sugar cravings are also my biggest ‘sin’ when it comes to eating healthy. But over time I’ve learnt to replace them with healthier choices such as fruits. Fruits also have sugar, so on weight loss diets you will want to eat less sweet fruits, such as berries.

  • One of the best things I’ve done for my cuts is doing a single or two 36 hr fasts per week. This way I can have significantly higher calories 5 or 6 days a week instead of dividing my calorie budget through 7 days. Great especially if your a short guy and you need to cut on 1500/1600 cals a day (I’m 5’6″)

  • Thank you for all the wonderful information and tips. Do you have a video or research on what sugar does to the body besides add fat? So much of the information I have found does not explain much about why sugar is so bad. I believe it. I’m just looking for research-based information to share with my husband.

  • What a piece of shit of a person. Not on steroids? You disgusting liar. Tell the truth and people won’t care, lie about it and people will hate you more.

  • I agree with drinking water but the number one most important thing is you need to give the diet enough time. Much of your cut especially doing it for the first time is trying to figure out what works. But my first cut to six months and I only started at 15% body fat.

  • So i have a question im hoping ppl may answer. I’m currently around 30/35% bf, hence the cut.female, 19 and looking to loose the fat. I’ve been going to the gym on and off for about 3 years (being much more consistent now) and i was wondering whether it would be better to drop from about 1800 to 1200 or a more steady but slow 1500.

  • Hello there, have you considered Custokebon Secrets yet? Just do a google search engine search. On there you’ll discover an awesome tips about how exactly you can lost lots of weight. Why not give it a shot? maybe it’s going to work for you too.

  • I do the 5k cheese diet. Eat half a block of cheese and then immediately run a 5k. As you run your body’s energy system responds to the cheese by burning fat. This kick starts the fat burning process which lasts for up to 48 hours after you finish your run.

  • You don’t have to lose strength when cutting as you can also do body component exercises that improve your strength, and you also don’t have to lose muscle mass because of that and also if you have some protein to maintain muscle growth.

  • I just need someone to back this guy up on what he said, will you actually lose strength when cutting? im 14 and im at 205 bench, does that mean my pr wouldn’t go any higher during cutting

  • This is the best weight loss video I have ever seen. I have been trying to lose weight for about 6 months now, and I could never seem to do it. This video, I hope, will help me so much once I start my weight loss journey.

  • Weight loss is basically just calorie in and calorie out. Some of this advice I agree with, some of it I don’t. Soup can be very high in calories and I wouldn’t suggest eating it before a meal. May as well just drink your calories. Salad makes more sense. I also disagree with eliminating all animal products. I have difficulty getting enough protein and omega 3’s. Fish is low calorie and high in protein and omega 3’s. They’ve also been shown to lower your risks of cancer and heart disease. Cutting healthy fats entirely just sounds like a stupid idea. Seeds and nuts provide protein, omegas, and fiber as well. And just a side note about exercise. Biking burns twice as many calories as walking does. They also use less muscles and require less effort. So if you’re just trying to get into exercise, even stationary biking in front of the TV would be a great way to do it. But this is just the 2 cents of someone who managed to lose 50lbs while recovering from a knee injury. Take from it what you will.

  • i eat one avacado a day and lost 36 lbs in 8 months, triglycerides down to 170 from 477, waist down to 30 from 34inches, avacado keeps me siatiated, i am eating salad with apple for lunch and other fruits for snacks. zero processed foods.

  • Does Custokebon Secrets (just google it) help me lost crazy amounts of weight? I see a lot of people keep on speaking about this popular weight loss diet plan.

  • I have not had a problem with late night eating before, but it seems there is some interference at night. It happens when I am half asleep.

  • great video as always matt… I’ve been training about 2 months now getting myself down from over 18st I’m currently at 16.4 would you recommend any certain diet pills or should I stay clear and just carry on as I’m doing

    thanks buddy

  • Matt my measurements r 35 inch waist / 16.5 inch arms / 27 inch legs. about 21% bf should i cut or bulk? want to look like you but if i cut i might be much smaller then u

  • The fact that you can eat 4000 calories on a cut a day is insane. I’m on a cut and I are 2300 average last week and put on 0.2kg! Ha. WTF. It would have been nice to see the calorie or even macro values of your meals and totals. it looks like you don’t count them so I don’t know how you judge what you have had. Rough estimates. Also respect Matt, s someone who does videos I appreciate how much time and effort goes into the set up of your style of video. fair play and lastly suits after Season 5 is all downhill I’m sorry to say. It Awesome up to end of Season 5 I think!
