Coach Alexia is “just such a positive force and the minute you hear her voice, the minute you see her smile, you know that she’s there for you. She’s there to help you and she legitimately want you to be better. I’m sitting here with an A1c that went down in just over the course of two months, it went down from a 7.2 to 6.9. She helped me with that. I’m sitting here not being afraid of carbs anymore and getting my type 2 diabetes under control and a lot of that is because of her. It’s because she’s in there, she’s in my corner.

Alexia has been my health coach for several months now. During that time, she has helped me change my thinking and behavior regarding food with the result that I have lost 17 pounds since September [in the past 4 months].
Over that time, I have begun adding more vegetables to my diet, restricting the carbs, balancing my eating, and walking for 30 minutes five times a week.
I believe it is her kindness and compassion that encourages me to make changes that I can live with. She is always willing to work with me and offer helpful advice that takes my preferences into consideration. I always look forward to our coaching sessions, for I truly believe she is on my side.

It is my pleasure to share with the FANTASTIC coaching sessions I am receiving from Alexia Lewis! This lady is the “bomb!” I was diagnosed with Diabetes two months ago and told by my employer that I would have to stay in contact with a health coach. So, one day, I am sitting at my desk and I receive a phone call from Alexia Lewis. At first I thought “Lord help me…I just got the devastating news that I have this disease and now I am going to have to talk to this lady! All of this is too much for me to handle right now and I am truly not interested in having someone tell me “every week” that you can’t eat “this or that” anymore”! Please help me Father in Heaven!”
Well, it is funny how God works, because after the very first session, I could hear that she was not telling me what I couldn’t eat, but that she was giving me advice on how to choose differently or decrease serving sizes for the foods I am eating. Surprisingly, she has never once made me feel bad when I deviate from my plan, nor has she ever told me I can’t have a food item, but instead, she offers me alternatives to the foods I want to eat…so, that my choices are better suited for my health concerns. This lady has done nothing but show me compassion, encouragement and genuine concern for my well-being. I can’t believe how much I truly look forward to her calls each week and I cherish the knowledge that she so willing shares with me.
As a direct result of her coaching sessions with me, I have lost 19.5lbs., over two months and I have been working together to promote a healthy lifestyle. Because of her great advice, enthusiasm and passion for helping others, I feel beautiful, healthy and full of energy (which I have not felt in over seven years). I learned a lot about cooking more healthy for my family. I’ve always been a cook but never focused on healthy things.
