  • My ADORABLE & WONDERFUL ATK DARLINGS (oh, how I LOVE you!!!! ESPECIALLY Bridget, Julia, Elle, Dan and that other wonderful chef who shows us many of the healthier recipes….tall, thin, can’t remember her name darnit!!)…….Give us MORE VEGAN RECIPES PLEEEEEEASE!!! (But also create some very LOW-FAT recipes for those of us who avoid a lot of added fat in our diet….yes, even HEALTHIER fats should NOT be consumed in excess, despite what MOST vegans today think, e.g., tons of nuts, seeds, oils, avocados, olives, etc…..yes, those high fat plant foods ARE health-IER, but should STILL be kept to a MINIMUM in the daily diet!) There ARE effective ways to create MUCH LOWER FAT RECIPES that are still HIGHLY reminiscent of the original high-fat & non-vegan recipes like these buffalo bites, but WITHOUT deep frying and WITHOUT adding much added fat at all. (I HOPE you’ll look more deeply into this, check out FORKS OVER KNIVES for recipes ideas!)..I know cuz I’ve been doing it since 1990, and they can be ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS with little-to-no added fat in the recipes!…and with YOUR incredible expertise, I know YOUS GUYS can do it WAAAAAY better than I’ve been doing it! I LOVE YOU ALL….SERIOUSLY!!!….Love and hugs…….One of your most avid fans, Daryl

  • omg!!!!! I just made them and took them out of the oven. I promise I’m in heaven. They are so freaking good. The smell alone while they were in the oven.I thought I would pass out lol. this will be my new go to.

  • Asked for chicken wings last night whilst out and this was the option I were given
Fuck vegans forcing their shit boring way of life on us

  • I made these yesterday and they were pretty terrible in my opinion but if you like the overwhelming flavor of coconut then you’ll love these.

  • Just a lil tip giant cauliflower doesn’t mean its GMO ^_^ the organic farm I work for in California grows giant heads all the time

  • Sorry…I’m sure it’s good but I’m not a vegetarian so I would just feel incredibly silly eating this when I could just get boneless wings.

  • recipe: 1 head of cauliflower

    3/4 cup flour
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    2 tsp garlic powder
    3/4 cup milk

    Bake 450 for 20 minutes

    1/2 cup hot sauce
    2 tbsp oil
    1 tbsp honey

Bake 450 for 20 more minutes

  • I failed… in 14 mins, the cauliflower florets were overcooked and burnt. I got them out of oven. Put on the hot sauce and put in the oven for another 10 mins.Tasted fine but not crispy…don’t know which step was wrong. Might be it was because the florets were still wet after washed?

  • Apparently having a personality and making tongue-in-cheek jokes makes you “rude”, “condescending”, and “egotistical” according to some comments here. Absolutely hilarious.

  • for anyone asking DO NOT TRY WITH COCONUT FLOUR!! i wish someone told me before. instead of a pancake consistency the coconut flour makes the batter it become very fluffy and light (the opposite of what we want)

  • Absolutely incredibly, delectable. I just know. I think this could be considered a goal for getting my new teeth. I have 3 of your recipes waiting for me. Elle you are meant for the camera, don’t be shy, Bridget you and Elle make a great team as well. Thanks ladies. For all you do for us.

  • My batter isn’t sticking to the cauliflower very well. When I go to flip them in the oven at the halfway point, the batter sticks to the parchment paper and leaves bald spots on the cauliflower. Help?

  • followed this exactly for my mom and myself and it came out SOOO GOOOOOD I was not sure how I’d like it because I never ever eat cauliflower but I love buffalo sauce, so this was a great. My mom doesn’t eat meat so when we want to share a meal together or an appetizer for her gatherings this is such a great recipe. Thank you!!!

  • I’m a pescatarian and this looks delicious and I’m going to make it if i have the ingredients

Next day edit: I’m making it right now and its going really well it smells delicious

  • The reason for the butter is so the sauce sticks to the cauliflower. You can use oil if you are a vegan. You do need to use a butter or oil for the sauce to stick. Great recipe came out great!! Thank you!!!

  • I just made this taste is good, however the time of baking and temperature is so off….the cauliflower came out too soft even though, I only baked for 20 min in 425 F. There is no way to do double
the time. I did 20 min in 450 F and 5 min in 375F still too soft. Do 15 min in 375 F and check how much longer it needs. Overcooked cauliflower it’s not so good!!!

  • I bought frozen buffalo cauliflower from sams club the other day and they were sweet these were delish thank you for the recipe I found out in a parenting class that cauliflower is good for the brain my 14 year old son loved them

  • I made these and they were amazing. I used slightly less sauce so they’d stay crispy, and I halved the recipe for the ranch sauce. Also, I used a glass tray (no parchment) and they didn’t stick! These tasted so amazing, I’m definitely going to make these more often, however, the prep time, cooking time, clean-up and eating was around 2 hours total lol

  • I hear vegans being obsessed about making things “healthy”. So glad you are making these good. I am transitioning and find I crave fats.

  • Watched this video a few days ago and made it tonight for a gathering. Not one piece left ( I made 2 heads). Thank you for being the hit of the party.

  • Laura-I just love you to pieces! You have an awesome personality. I was cracking up when you came out and said “Frank’s, know what I’m sayin’?” and “I’m a ranch girl, don’t judge me”. Lol You’re a riot. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. Can’t wait to try it.

  • I am from France and I do this weekly, Frank’s sauce is kind of pricy here but it’s all worth it in the end. I can’t ever get enough of those.

  • Why do the Americans call chicken wings buffalo wings?! It’s absolutely rediculous!! Nothing at all to do with buffalo ‍♀️
Ps I really like your recipe though! Thanks 450 f is 250 Celsius. Also you left out some of the spices in your description underneath.
    Pps No Super Bowl
Here in Australia AFL Grand final
    In September

  • Very nice thanks; I make these often, I use about 70-30 rice flower & corn starch (gluten free) = very crispy, seasoning I use a mild Indian curry powder; I roast them in my air fryer, toss in mix of Frank’s Hot Sauce & olive oil

  • This is exactly why I love you Laura! Keeping it real!

The fact about end result not being crispy would have definitely not been mentioned in any other food programme/video, but you’re ALWAYS honest about the recipes and really have a mindset of us home cooks which makes you so unique and the best! Xxx

  • Hmmm… interesting concept. I’m gonna try Frank’s RedHot buffalo wing sauce instead, for this recipé. I love cauliflower and I can eat it the way most people eat potato chips.

  • this ladys kinda bitch lol..
“i make these all the time i dont know what you’re doing” then before that shes like “well i know how to cook” like lmao what

  • This looks very good. I love cauliflower but, not being a vegan, I’ll try this using my classic chicken wing recipe. Blue cheese sauce heavy on the cheese.

  • Hmm… the base for the cauliflower: “coconut milk”? Looks more like coconut cream or yogurt. I’m gonna try it as mentioned, but I’m guessing it’s not gonna be anywhere near as “sticky”…

  • can you please help me! my parchment paper only goes to 420 i’ve searched everywhere for 450 will my parchment paper burn if i use it?

  • This recipe is delicious! I made it twice; once fresh, and then used leftover battered cauliflower from the first time to deep fry the next day. Both times were excellent!

  • Laura, I’ve seen 3 videos and just subscribed. I don’t know if this is every time but in all three, you eat the food piping hot. This one, the chicken and potato and the chicken Parmesan one. Haha. You’re lovely, be careful and don’t burn yourself! ❤️

  • Hi I’m trying this today and I’m positive it won’t turnout good because my parents always follow their own directions and not the recipes so I’m gonna get disappointed and cry

  • FYI I really wanted to share this video with students to make at home but I can’t because you cussed. lol I would love a kid-friendly version if you have one or know someone who has posted this same recipe. This is one of my favorite go-to foods! I love them and share this with all my vegan-skeptic friends. lol Is there a written recipe available?

  • I would love to see some keto recipes from you. I know you would be amazing at it because you can go hog wild on the fats/cheeses so there is plenty of flavor. I’ve been on Keto for a year now and I can tell you there is plenty recipes on youtube for keto… but not many are really great. I know you could do better than most.:)

  • Yesterday I was thinking “I really want to learn how to make buffalo cauliflower, I keep hearing it’s good.” Laura always coming through! Love your recipes

  • Shut your mouths. Talking way too much. No one comes to YouTube recipes to “get to know you” for a few minutes before the recipe. Wtf is wrong with you.

  • Just got everything from the store and forgot parchment paper anywho I just used foil and a small amount of cooking spray, the o oh thing that stuck was a little bit of excess batter:)

  • I know this is old but i just wanted you to know i make these maybe like once a week and my omnivore bf LOVES THEM. Even my family who hates when i make vegan food loved how they tasted! Im positive ill be making your recipe well into my 80s lol. Thank you so much for this recipe!

  • Im not vegan and I tried this, the taste was good but the batter didn’t stick to the cauliflower it’s all ended up on the oven tray

  • Bleu cheese dressing on these babies are my favorite I order from a place that makes their own and sprinkles crumbles of the bleu cheese onto the wings as well

  • I just ate this and it was so yummy. I could absolutely eat an entire head of cauliflower like this. But it would probably upset my tummy

  • I just made these and they were AMAZING!!!! I didn’t have buffalo sauce on hand so I used Sriracha instead and they turned out even better!!! This with a nice salad on the side was a great dinner! Thank you for the recipe Laura, it was perfect to quickly whip up!!

  • hey guys, i have my settings at 360p but lots of blurr on this vid… fyi. Laura, that looks delish def. will try it out! love ya!

  • I don’t even want to watch this video, but I want to give a big thumbs up to America’s Test Kitchen for not calling them vegan chicken wings. Thank you for using proper terminology.

  • Do you guys even know what GMO is??? I love all of you eco kids talking about GMOs beeing bad and yet ypi dont even know what it us. Btw crob gets bigger by BREEDING it to have more than one set of chromosomes. It has nothing to do with GMOs

  • One of your best vids. If your friends you should do a reunion. Life is precious and not forever. Do an Animal Cauliflower version?

  • Ik that the cauliflower is a replacement for chicken wings but usually when u have cauliflower on the side u only dip it in one sauce or eat it plain. Why put in all this effort for cauliflower. Also i am not a vegan hater

  • Could you use just maybe bbq sauce instead of franks for people that don’t like spice? I have a few people coming that think pepper is too spicy

  • I love Tasty for the most part but I wouldn’t recommend this recipe. The cauliflower comes out way too soft and mushy. Not at all appetizing.

  • Is there a way of getting the crust in the oven without the oil that you could suggest? It looks great but I’m never been in love with deep frying. Thanks!

  • @Tasty brilliant, the kids loved it. I used vegetable stock instead of milk. Next time I’m going to switch the paprika with cumin and curry powder. So much potential. Thank you.

  • Okay you completely underseasoned that poor cauliflower and just looks gross definitely going to try other recipes instead of this shit

  • I really like the two of you together in the video. You work well as a team. Can’t wait to try this recipe, you made it easy to follow.

  • Dont call it wings if its not wings. Vegans and vegan companies really need to invent their own names for their food and stop taking meat names…

  • This came out great and had it with your Chipotle lime fries dish! But i think ill try the bqq next time, my buffalo sauce was a bit too spicy, lol

  • I know she had a finished product already to show us at the beginning, but I would have really liked her to drag the show out a little longer to pull out the pan of cauliflower bites with the buffalo sauce after 10 minutes of cooking as proof the food will turn out the same.

  • “so here is a step people seem to not understand” “oh well its very easy for me because I know how to cook but for people who don’t know what they’re doing…” Girl you do not need to be condescending to people who are HERE TO LEARN. No wonder this channel ended up dying.

  • I made, it, following the instructions to the letter. It’s horrible! Greasy, hot (as in spiced) cauliflower??? A waste of a lot of expensive ingredients. (Now I have to find something to do with the leftover coconut oil and milk. Bah!)

  • These are so good! 10/10 would recommend. I would suggest using agave or maple syrup instead of honey, and plant based milk because animals shouldn’t have to be exploited for food to taste good!

  • to make the cauliflower crispy, i would try to precook it for 1-2 minutes, then dip it into the batter and fry it and serve immediately. obviously, it would not be as healthy anymore, but my mom uses to prepare cauliflower like this, using the three step breading process before frying it and they are always crispy.

  • I’m definitely making this recipe! But because I really can’t eat sugar, I think I’ll use a substitute and hope it doesn’t create an aftertaste.

  • I love Lauren, but i can understand why people find her somewhat condescending in this video. If this was my first time watching her, I think it would rub me the wrong way as well.

  • Parchment paper doesn’t exist in some countries, so what would you recommend using instead? I’ve made these twice using a silicone mat with minimal sticking but would love a better option because I have to carefully peel each wing off the mat, which is rather time consuming.

  • I would definitely recommend parchment paper and personally it might be dirtying more dishes but 2 me Doesn’t make sense I would mix them in a bowl and wash it before wrecking a pan lol

  • I’m not the type in the comments to leave a gushy message, but I ripped a lil bowl and I fell in love with that song in the background. Thanks for that. P.S. Also gonna try the recipe.

  • I went all over town looking for parchment paper and couldn’t find it at all. Can I use wax paper and just spray non stick cooking spray on it or something?

  • I saw the video and only had aluminum paper at home so I thought I’ll just wing it but you guys were right it completely ruined it cause it sticks to the batter so much. Still delicious tho but will use parchment next time.

  • Omg love cauliflower and hot sauce always looking for new cauliflower recipes that looks totally bomb baby girl I definitely gotta try this one btw I made your mozzarella sticks recipe for chanukah (festival of lights) and wow they were so bomb my mom and my sissy loved them definitely making those again for like a random day or night and wow you’re right girlfriend they are great and really bomb dipped on ketchup I love a lot of things with ketchup happy Saturday night cheers

  • I can confirm that this is delicious. I’m vegan and I make this around every few weeks for my family and I (I end up eating most of it:3) but I have a very high spice tolerance, so if you can’t handle spice, then this definitely isn’t a good idea for you

  • Omg I just now made these and I love y’all for this!! Y’all didn’t invent it but you perfected it! Do you have a lemon pepper flavor recipe?!

  • Personally I like the flavour of the fried cauliflower on it’s own…it gets naturally sweet and nutty once it’s fried IMO doesn’t even need any sauces

  • I spent twice my budget this week after binge watching your show. Ain’t nobody complainin’ here though. Seriously yummy recipes!!! So excited to make this tonight!!

  • I made this and it came out great! I even had to substitute tapioca starch for cornstarch and it still worked.
I also didn’t have a thermometer for the oil and it still worked.

  • I’ve had these before but they weren’t vegan, just substituted cauliflower for chicken. This could be one of those rare recipes where the vegan version might actually be better.

  • Honestly, her fucking attitude is all wrong for YouTube. Other than that, I love the recipe and I wanna try it, but I think it’s weird to have cauliflower look like cauliflower and not even attempting to make it look like it’s intended product. It’s supposed to be a sub for buffalo wings, make them look like boneless wings!

  • Everytime I try to follow a YouTube recipe I carefully follow each step/measurement… and it still never comes out like the food on YT. Wth.

  • they never crisped up. i followed your directions. they stuck to the pan/batter pulled away. time to go eat soggy cauli covered in sauce. yay.
