Easy to Make Sweet, Nutty, Crunchy Granola Recipe

Cook oats with water until the porridge is thickened to your liking. Add peanut butter and mix well. Dish into a bowl and top with bananas and almonds. Step 1 Mix oats, walnuts, brown sugar, flax, chia seeds, sesame seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a bowl. Pour boiling water over the oats mixture and stir so ingredients are completely moistened; steep until the oats are softened, about 2 minutes.

Stir blueberries through the oats. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Mash the banana and peanut butter together in a small bowl. Add the oats, milk and egg and mix well. Stir in the baking soda, cinnamon and pumpkin seeds.

If you like to fix it and forget it, try these sweet and nutty oatmeal bars that you can keep on your counter for up to 14 days! Ingredients. 28 ounces of Four Grain Hot Cereal; ⅔ cup of all-purpose flour; 2 teaspoons of baking powder; 1 tablespoon of salt; 2 cups of sweetened coconut flakes; 2 cups of dried apricots; 1 cup of sliced almonds. Adding almond butter to your morning oatmeal lends a rich and nutty flavor that is especially delicious with a splash of almond milk.   • i do my oats on the stove with water and add a little bit of cocoa powder and frozen rasperries and topped with a piece of chocolate and some sliced banana

  • I mix honey, peanut butter, and raw oats together. It’s fantastic! Or if I’m cooking the oats, I quickly blop some peanut butter on top so it melts. Love in a bowl.

  • Try these overnight oats (my favvvv) it kind of tastes like pb&j! 1 cup of uncooked oats, 1 cup of almond milk, a big spoon of pb, 1 tbsp chia seeds, cinnamon, vanilla flav drops and frozen blueberries. Leave in fridge overnight and enjoy with more pb on top (crunchy works the best):)

  • Cinnamon coconut and apple Stovetop oats: add oats with water, milk and a pinch of salt. Then add cinnamon and lots of dessicated coconut, then liquid sweetener. Then add chopped dates. Then at the end too with chopped apple and more milk.:)

  • prep your carrot cake oats the day before and put it in the oven or airfryer the next day! with apple slices on top and a coating of coconut sugar (and/or shredded coconut). after baking top it with peanutbutter!�� you can also mix in some baking soda before baking

  • OMG I’m the same with the bowl of oats in the morning. I see and hear people saying that a bowl of oatmeal keeps them full for hours and I’m there after one hour being hungry again

  • Cut up an apple into 1/2 inch-ish pieces, throw them in a pan with a little bit of water (about enough that all of the apples are sitting in it, but not submerged.) Add TONS of cinnamon, a dash of vanilla extract. You can also add maple syrup to sweeten, if you need. Cover, and let simmer on medium heat until the apples are softer, but not tooo soft lol. Make oats and add desired protein powder (I like MyProtein’s Pumpkin Pie!) Pour the apple concoction (apples and juice) into your pre-made oats. Top with walnuts and microwaved almond butter. It definitely has a Fall, cozy vibe:)

  • How I eat my oats:
    I put oats in yoghurt the night before and separately of the oats in a glass I put chia seeds in water (you need to stir them and after 15 minutes you stir them again). I put the oats and chia seeds in the fridge and in the morning I pour the chia seeds in the oats. I put all kind of dried fruits, like dates, raisins, cranberries, figs, apricots and plums and then I enjoy. This is my oats recipe, I love it, hope you try it and tell me your thoughts.

  • I mash a banana, add in a spoon of peanut butter, and black chocolate chips. I sprinkle some chia seeds too. Then I add this mixture to my oats and sprinkle it with some cinnamon, banana and chocolate chips.

    my all time fav oats are overnight oats 40gr oats, 150g curd, 100ml water/milk, 100g grated apple, 10g chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans are best for this oat), 10g honey/sirup, raisins
    then I put almond butter on it in the morning

  • When I heard of egg white in oats I felt it was so weird that I had to try and now it is a go to. Whip up the egg whites (2-3) while the oats are cooking, preferably on the stove but microwave works. I always add salt and sometimes chia seeds. Whisk the whites in to the hot oats until combined. Top with blueberries, pumpkin seeds and unsweetened yoghurt or greek yoghurt. I live in Sweden and love love love sour milk on top but the yoghurt will do as well. If I want some sweet oats I go for almond butter and cardamom with a hint of bitter almond (like a smidge and I always add salt as well). Top it off with vanilla yoghurt and chopped almonds for crunch. It is the oats version of a pastry called “semla” with almond paste and whipped cream in a sweet cardamom bun.

  • She can eat that stuff because her metabolism hadn’t slowed down due to age and giving birth you can’t eat junk when your a mother and over the age of 35. If she was she would be packing on the pounds.

  • I love savory oats:) it is just using oatmeal as another grain like quinoa, rice, couscous etc! My base for savory oats is usually butter or ghee, salt and pepper, garlic, chia and flax seeds, red pepper flakes. Then i had something like goat cheese or parm. Meat and or veggies and usually spinach or arugula; pistachios, almonds, cashews are nice too for crunch!

    100g of oats
    10g of chia seeds
    15g of raw cacao powder
    1 scoop of protein powder
    400ml of water
    100ml of milk
    1 ripe banana
    Combine the milk and water in a pot; add the banana and mash it. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl aand put them in the pot. Stir and cook the oatmeal over medium heat until thick. Pour in a bowl and serve hot with toppings (I like shredded coconut). Enjoy! ����

  • Oats cooked on the stove. Mix in vanilla protein powder if you want, or powdered peanut butter. Stir in an epic amount of creamy peanut butter. Drizzle with honey. Top with sea salt, sliced banana, and crumbled up bacon. (You can leave the banana and bacon out, the PB, honey, and salt is key).

  • This is very normal recipe in Finland (for “fitness people”): 40g oats, 4g salt, 10g oil, 200g cottage cheese and berries or fruit puree/babys food. You should try this one!:)

Tasted like injeolmi if you know what it is.

    overnight oats same again: next morning mix in heaped table spoon of ground black sesame powder, heaped table spoon of plain yogurt, ripe banana, some sweetener of choice (if not already in milk/ yog)

  • One of my go to are earl grey white chocolate oats (i boil some earl grey tea in milk with any choice of sweetener, steep the tea bag, then add the milk to dry oats and heat them up, top it off with white chocolate protein spread and some blueberries).

    Here is my recipe for sweet Middle eastern inspired oats
    I always change the ratio’s depending on my hunger
    30-40 gr oats
    0.25-0.5 zuchinni (shredded)
    100-150 gr skyr/ sometimes i add a tablespoon of sour cream
    fresh squeeze of lemon juice en some lemon jest
    1 teaspoon orange flower water
    10-30 gr vanilla protein powder
    40-50 gr of pomegranate seeds
    5-10 pistachio’s

    just mix (add water for preferred consistency) and let set overnight

  • I love how realistic you are with you eat, you don’t restrict in any way and I always feel like I eat slot of snacks when I see what I eat in a days where they eat breakfast lunch and dinner and that’s it,like I am hungry like an hour after breakfast and always eat dessert then more snacks before bed, I just have a big appetite lol

  • My favorite oatmeal recipe: 38g rolled oats (1dl) 1 tsp cinnamon, 1-1.5 tbsp cocoa powder (10-15g), 150ml milk of choice, 1 dL water (sweetener if you want) cook until creamy and then top with peanut butter, strawberries, a dollop skyr (160g, low fat Greek youghurt works as well) and roughly chopped nuts… (maybe even chocolate chips???)���� tastes like a warm creamy brownie batter with PB!!!����. Edit: also if you want it to be fluffier, just whisk and egg white into the oats while cooking…. so fluuuuufffyyy��

  • Just wanted to say..I felt sad and angry to find out that people still comment about how you eat food and your diet..it has nothing to do with THEM! Their bodies are different I could eat the same amount as you and feel completely different, it’s how our genetics are made up and it’s how our bodies are meant to be. Eat however much you want, don’t compare yourself and stop worrying about what other people are doing. Hearing that for the umpteenth time and people still NOT GETTING IT is getting on my nerves..stay nutty always Steph!

  • What I eat almost everyday:
    cook oats with half water, half soy milk, tablespoon of cinnamon, chia seeds, pinch of salt and tiny cup of rum, top it off with banana, walnuts or almonds and a bit of cinnamon
    It is basic but super delicious

    1/2 cup oats
    handful of raisins
    pinch of salt
    cinnamon
    1/2 tbsp chiaseeds
    3/4 banana cut in pieces
    1 cup soymilk
    1 cup water

    ➡️ Stir and cook on low heat untill desired consistency. When it’s done, I add a scoop of vanilla protein powder (stir wel). And then top it with more cinnamon, a big blob of peanut butter, the rest of the banana and some dark coconut syrup. Absolutely amazing ���� Please try!

  • I never cook my oats. I hate the smell of warm milk, I can go for plant milk or water instead, but nah… the consistency is nasty for me XD I always top it with random fruits, nuts, seeds, some spices like cinnamon sometimes. And I have joghurt or other fermented milk products on the side, I add it to my oats as I eat so they won’t soak and get too soggy and they’re not too dry as well. I like them crunchy ��
    Just rolled oats of course, quick/instant oats are a no-no.

  • I now alternate between:
    Oats with cinnamon and carrot. Half a mashed banana mixed into the oats to make them a bit sweeter. I use the other half of the banana as a topping, together with (pea)nut butter or nuts/trail mix and a square of dark chocolate.
    Oats with lemon aroma and ginger. Again the same banana situation and I like to top it with nuts/trial mix.

    In both I always used 2/3 of a scoop of flavourless protein powder. Sometimes add flax/chia seeds. I some days feel more like soy milk, most days I just use water. I do like my oats to be a bit soop-y. Hate those really thick oats.

  • 1/2 cup oats, 1/4 cup favorite flavored yogurt, 1/2 cup almond milk, peanut butter and sliced banana -overnight oats add maple syrup, honey or agave to sweeten

  • Instant oat 1 scoop, 1 cup of rolled oats, peanut butter 1 table spoon, add late if needed, chocolate chips, pinch of salt, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon bicarb of soda, 2 table spoons of maple syrup or agave. Mix with a fork, with a spoon put the mixture on a baking tray to form biscuits I t has to be soft but not liquid. Bake for 15 minutes to 20 according to your oven and enjoy still warm with some extra peanut butter

  • I have oats with vanilla protein powder, topped with vanilla Greek yogurt, strawberries and peanut butter and it tastes like strawberry shortcake yumm

  • i have the opposit issue, i can eat small things and be to full fast, but then through out the day i was instantly get hungry to the point of feeling faint. my breakfast on average is 2 boiled eggs, couple slices ham and a banana and im bloated after that for hours. then my lunch is rather small salad with fish which makes me full and usually chicken or fish with broccoli and a little rice and dessert is an apple and 2 cubes of 85% dark chocolate. and i always think ive over ate because im full from my food, yet my husband says im under eating. your right, its different for everyone.

  • It’s gonna sound insane BUT, I absolutely love oats with just cold water. Add water to the outs till the texture becomes kinda like purée, and then eat it. No sweets, no fruits, not cooked. Just outs and water… I stopped eating any kind of oats combos when I started doing this
