  • Any particular reason for cutting the tips of the strawberries? That’s actually the first time I’ve seen someone do that. I just eat them, tips and all (cut off the green top obviously).

  • Yum. Looks great. I make a similar one with arugula, strawberries, balsamic, olive oil, jalapenos, feta, crispy chickpeas, and crispy shallots.

  • i feel like i need to make a spreadsheet of all of these videos and what lessons are included: this video teaches us about balsamic vinegar and raising children via Mr Wizard, the oyakodon video includes a list of multiple dishes that involve simmering in dashi/soy/sake/sugar

  • Why upload a recipe to YouTube that doesn’t mention how many servings there are in the recipe? You provide calories and nutritional information but no mention of how many this recipe serves.

  • You don’t have the Pecans listed as an Ingredient in the Recipe link above. Also, you stated how much to use for everything, except the Pecans. Can you please provide us with the omitted information? Thank you.

  • Kenji, can you tell us more about the book about 2020 food writing? Is it stories accompanied by recipes, food stories that shape the writer’s cooking, etc.?

  • love your videos! I was wondering how often you sterilize your sink and what you use/how you do it? Maybe you can make a future video on it? Thanks!!

  • Does anyone know what kind of olive oil he uses in that fancy bottle looking thing? I’ve been into trying different varieties of olive oil and always down to try a new brand.

  • My daughter is next to me while I watch, and she keeps commenting how precious your daughter sounds.

Also, I cut queso fresco into cubes and toss it into butter chicken as it comes off the heat. It’s better, the firmer it is.

  • Now I’m considering making my own “balsamic” vinegar, because I have so much of the regular stuff (use it for everything in the house, from self-care to hygiene to food)

  • i love you Kenji, but could you stop opening the trashcan with your hand and immediately afterwards touch the food? maybe collect the scraps in a bowl and discard them after you are done preparing the food

  • Kenji, great videos. Could you do the oven hack where you bake a pizza when your oven is on its “self cleaning mode”? It should be how enough to make a great pizza

  • Thanks for all the hard work throughout these crazy months Kenji. Learning a lot. And gonna miss all these uploads when things get back to relative normal.

  • Can you use feta as well kenji? Also for someone looking to be more healthy but cook variety what balsamic product would you recommend?

  • Great idea-esp good for strawberry season! Do you have an olive oil recommendation. I have one for everyday, but wanting to find something a little better.
