  • Hi Carolyn! I know I’m late but thank you so much for the recipe. I just need clarification on one thing. I’m a Cancer patient so I have to be extremely careful with raw, under/over cooked meat. Will the ground turkey be okay for me as the recipe calls for or should I brown mine first. My crockpot is a lifesaver, especially during a chemo cycle but I’ve never used raw ground turkey or beef in my crockpot. I always Brown it then place it in the crockpot. Thank you in advance for your response!

  • I’m having a chili cook off at school what do you think would be the best way to transport it and I was thinking about making this so what’s the best way to transport it.

  • I’ve been craving chili!! I’ve been avoiding it though because my homemade chili is spicy and it’s too hot for that lol. I’m definitely gonna try this out, though.

  • So after cooking on high for 4 hours you add the dumplings and cook an additional hour for a total of 5 hours on high?
