  • I’ve watched this video multiple times. I finally put it together. I don’t like that I put mushrooms in but I didn’t want to waste them. Hopefully it doesn’t ruin it.

Thank you for simplifying all this.

  • Maybe people stop the video and went straight to the end. You clearly washed the chicken and said after the chicken is cleaned I pat it dry..but even if you didn’t we aren’t eating any and you wouldn’t be the first to not wash your chicken. I thought everyone did but I learned differently. GREAT RECIPE Queen!

  • Attempting this today. Trying to decide on what time to start it. Not sure how late or early I want to eat dinner lol.

I’ll let ya know how it goes.

  • Thanks for this quick and nice recipe. I love it so much. Btw, I like the way you present it, quick and short. Especially, I like when you list the ingredients below your videos. I can use it right away. I’m your fan now ❤️

  • Oh yeah, one pot dish, love those… Can you do this in a regular cast iron pan?… ‘Dutch oven’ I think they’re called.. In dutch we call them ‘braadpan’ 😉

And how long should it go in there, also 3 4 hours?

  • Putting this on for tomorrow using frozen chicken thighs. I’ll update tomorrow.
    I’m excited to try this!!
Ok, I made this and added teriyaki sauce and ginger. It was pretty good. I’d give it a 6 from 1 to 10. However, next time, yes next time I’m changing up a few things. I need the flavors stronger for my taste I think but I am glad I tried this.

  • Hey I’m not sure where I went wrong but this came out really really hot to the point I couldn’t manage anymore. What ingredients can I sacrifice to calm this down a bit?

  • Made this today and it was outstanding! The most tender and moist chicken breast I’ve ever made in slow cooker. Used frozen chicken breasts.

  • you have to pay attention to cooking raw chicken in your crockpot, clean up it with bleach water, it should take you about 5 hours to cook the chicken all the way through, and try a little cream of mushroom soup the next time you do chicken for dinner!! thanks for your recipe I enjoyed it

  • I made this last night but turned out great after i added some Hoisen sauce and some Korean bbq powder. Next time I’ll do a short grill with sauce then bake only chicken in the sauce mix in casserole dish and have cole slaw and beans on the side..

  • JUST finished this exact recipe for dinner… and let me just say that being a single father, watching my kids eat ANYTHING I make is already an accomplishment in and of itself but when I saw them scarf this chicken down… I nearly cried tears of joy. I felt like I won a Grammy.

  • I made this dish today for my family and all of us adored it. The vegetables were beautiful and the chicken OH SO GOOD. The sauce a is a dream and we all decided that this is now one of our fav. dishes. Thank you so much for sharing.Such a wonderful balance of flavour.

  • Dumb question….but how would this recipe turn out without the chicken? I was thinking of throwing the potatoes, carrots and seasonings together in the slow cooker as a side.

  • Made this last night and although I did not have red potatoes or green beans, used russets and peppers, it was delicious thank you!!

  • I love your channel! Can you kindly do a creamed spinach???? I would love to know your recipe and how u make it in the slow cooker! Please!!

  • 1st Vist, New Subbie, Army (MP)Vet (Hey Sis!) THANKS 4 SHARING! Stay safe, thanks for your service and God Bless you and your fam!!!

  • I don’t have that crock pot, can I cook it with this?
    Please someone answer me

  • One recommendation: To get the color on the chicken…High heat on a cast iron skillet with olive oil until skin in browned on both sides…no need to put in oven at end to get crust…that will dry out the chicken and overcook the meat…enjoy.

  • Hey thanks for this video! I’m about to make something similar to this but with boneless and skinless…Pray you and your family are doing well!

  • I have been Looking for a Honey, Garlic chicken recipe!
And this popped up on my feed
    It looks Divine!
    Thank you, Miss Claudia!!!
You all have a wonderful Holiday season!!!

  • Thanks for recipe. You actually seasoned your chicken! Don’t often find people out enough seasoning on stuff. Also, your personality makes for an enjoyable video that gets to the point and isn’t preachy or bloggy, just informative. Thanks a ton.

  • Hi thanks for the recipes could I sear the chicken in flour with spices just so the skin is brown and crispy I see a lot of people sear their brown meat this way

  • It’s nice when the chicken is roasted before cooking, I guess it looks so good because of your stove and the pan. I’ve never done chicken and couscous together so it’s a new experience for me, couscous is known to be the 3rd favorite dish for French people.

  • Gurlllll….u did that. I love to see women with such as myself that can cook. We all know that’s a rarity these days….I’m subscribing.

  • This looks INCREDIBLE!! It looks delicious and it looks like a work of art! I can’t wait to attempt to make this. Thank you so much for this wonderful video

  • I wonder how it’d come out if you put the garlic UNDER the skin of the chicken. I may try that next time I cook thighs. Thanks for a great recipe!

  • Hello gorgeous Merry Christmas, you never disappoint this will be my other added recipe, trying it on the stove and see how it turns out will try the slow cooker next time. Will keep you posted huuuuummmm delicious thank you

  • Hi Claudia, my family makes the same recipe, but with mustard and Worcestershire sauce added. I was wondering if you have a recipe for a hot espresso fudge sauce. Happy Holidays ☃️❤️

  • Man this girl is the truth I love you and ur cooking so much everything you do is so beautifully, u can have ur own restaurant and more ur awesome

  • It looks amazing and I bet it taste great. If you eat alot of garlic. I bet you have a good sense of smell and don’t have sinus problems at all. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe and healthy.

  • I tried this and had such high hopes but it turned into some sort of gravy. It didn’t look like this at all. I’m not sure what I did wrong?

  • Claudia, Please help me… I made this recipe yesterday, but unfortunately failed. In your video everything is nicely in the moisture (2.52) with me it was not so at all… It was dry and tasted dry. What did I do wrong?

  • Thanks for the recipe. It’s in the slow cooker on low right now. I added some fine chopped onions and a teaspoon of cumin to add my own touch. Had to use leg quarters since that was all I had on hand. I have every confidence that with your expertise and my fooling around, it will turn out fine.

  • I want to make this but I have chicken breasts..can I use chicken breasts for this dish? If so, should i alter the recipe at all for breasts? Thanks girl!

  • My girlfriend and I are trying this RIGHT NOW! got all the ingredients exact except i like things extra saucey and this sauce looks so good we added extra. Hope ot turns out as well as yours did thanks for the recipe!!

  • LOL I’m definitely going to use this recipe, but try to be careful not to touch things after touching the chicken. I was cringing along with my husband. He and I have worked with food before. He has more than myself, but other than that, I NEED recipes like this, thank you!

  • I don’t even wash my chicken. Call it nasty all you like, but it’s not needed. The chicken will be cleaned by the process of cooking. And washing also risks the increase of bacteria which can lead to food poisoning. Let that “sink” in.

  • You don’t wash the chicken? I’ve been washing it all this time. Maybe I don’t have to?? I’ve been watching a few chicken thigh recipes and most likely I will try this one. I’ll have to make it in the oven though since I don’t have a crockpot.

  • Wow! Such an easy recipe. Thank you! I had a call out and knew that I would be out for a while. I found this video and put it into practice, slow cook for six hours. My Wife came home put the trimmings together And Presto a delicious dinner has been made. I like and am subscribing. Will be looking for more.
Congratulations on your Wedding best of wishes with you marriage!!
Thank you soooo much for your service!!!!

  • I made this a couple weeks ago after watching this video and my wife liked it so well, she ordered me to make it again. She’s the boss you know… Anyways, this time i saved the recipe….Thanks for giving me a skill greater than making mac and cheese….

  • I’m hopeless! Had it prepped, seasoned (deboned and cut small for kiddos) and ready to go in a crock liner and FORGOT to put in the slow cooker this morning. Came home tonight threw them on a baking sheet, drizzled with EVOO and poppped them in the oven (broiler). Then threw bowtie pasta in the rice cooker with frozen broccoli while I helped them with hw. Came out SO Good!! Kid approved THANKS FOR SHARING THIS!!!

  • Dammmm girl I made this tonight over a bed of rice and asparagus banging I added some cayenne pepper sweet and hot was so good thank you

  • Delicious . I added 2 tsps of butter, 1 tsp of soy sauce and some parsley. Paired it with Basmati rice and roasted Brussels sprouts. TFS!!

  • I’ll make this recipe of yours. I love making Ribs On The Barbie using my slow cooker. Very easy and amazing result. Take a look here:

  • Used this recipe in my Instant Pot. I sautéed the chicken first to brown it. Then took out the chicken and added the veggies and sauce. Added the chicken on top of veggies. Pressure cooked it for only 12 minutes and it was great.

  • Love the recipe, but for everyone on here talking about washing chicken, Both the USDA and the CDC have repeatedly told the public DO NOT WASH CHICKEN!  1. This is what cooking is for to kill bacteria.  2. Washing chicken increases the chances of food poisoning through cross contamination.  Look it up.

  • why would you use low sodium items & then add salt (sodium) instead of just using regular sodium leveled items & not add salt individually?

  • Is it possible to put another layer of chicken on top of the first layer, if you want to do so? Or do you recommend to cook with only one payer of chicken? Thanks for the video.

  • Hello, just found your channel.Bout to look through your videos.I am a mom and am always looking for yummy recipes, especially in the crock pot.Made this chicken it is currently cooking now.

  • I know this video is old now, but sis you don’t have to respond to people who are talking about you not washing chicken because clearly they didn’t watch the video. I would advise anybody doing cooking videos skip that part because it serves no purpose. They should be doing that part their way. (some clean, some don’t… not my business). Rather silly this is a topic in so many comment sections. The “how to” is what is important. I like to see how other people prepare a meal the claim is tasty. Thanks for the recipe.

  • My husband said this was the best chicken dish I’ve ever made. Thank you for making me look good. What’s funny, I had a complex dinner planned but got lazy and search for slow cooker recipes thanks again

  • hi there i made this recipe and my daughter loved it. thank you for posting it. one question i would love to make some videos too, what kind or model video camera and editing software do you use??

  • My chicken was pretty dry, how do you get a more moist chicken? Because i taught a slowcooker would give very nice and moisty chicken

My wife is Chinese and I’m going to impress her tonight. We harvest many forms of wild game, and excited about learning more from your recipes. Thank You So Much. Alaska John

  • Wow! Looked so good. Cant wait to try. Also big props that the video was simple, informative, and short. I’ve subscribed! Thank you! Just may have to make this after this bummer of a hurricane Dorian hits. Wish us FL people luck! Lol

  • Oh my goodness! You never fail to impress! This looks so good, I simply cannot wait to make this! I love when I see that you uploaded a video, I can always count on you to bring me something delicious for my family! Thank you from my heart!

  • Nice recipe. However, I cringed when you put that Pyrex dish in the oven on broil. It’s oven safe but NOT safe on broil. Check the bottom. Also, I love your vintage Pyrex bowl (green one) if you want to keep it lovely please don’t put it in the dishwasher. The shine and paint will fade terribly.

  • LOVE IT!>>> (You cannot set it to start at a certain time but that’s not a deal breaker for me). You can set it to run on HIGH, LOW for X hours which is really nice! I love the locking handles too!

  • Decided to try this today 5/27/20 at 10:00am in slow cooker…I will let you know how it turned out and tasted…however what I did have to do was double the measurements because it just didn’t seem the measurements given was covering all the things in the pot…I can not wait to share my experience. Thanks so much for sharing.
