Steps 1 Spray 5to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place onion and garlic in slow cooker. 2 In small bowl, mix thyme, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Rub each piece of chicken with herb mixture. Arrange 3 Cover; cook on High heat setting 3 hours 30 minutes (or Low heat setting 6 to 7.

Steps 1 In small bowl, mix salt, paprika, pepper and oil to form paste; spread evenly over each piece of chicken. 2 In 5to 6-quart slow cooker, place onion slices. Arrange chicken over onion. Separate garlic into cloves; do not peel 3 Cover; cook on Low setting 7 to 8 hours.

4 With slotted. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. 2 Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Heat 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Ingredients 5 chicken thighs 2 tablespoons garlic minced 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/3 cup brown sugar packed. Pour stock and wine into cooker.

Combine salt, pepper and Herbes De Provence and sprinkle on both sides of chicken. Put chicken into cooker and add garlic around chicken. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Directions In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and sear Meanwhile, in a large slow cooker, toss potatoes with remaining 2 tablespoons oil, butter, garlic, thyme, parsley, and Garnish with Parmesan before serving.

In small bowl, whisk together rice wine, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and brown sugar. In 6-quart slow cooker bowl, layer chicken, soy. Step 1 Lay chicken thighs into the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker.

Step 2 Whisk soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic, and basil together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.

  • I’ve watched this video multiple times. I finally put it together. I don’t like that I put mushrooms in but I didn’t want to waste them. Hopefully it doesn’t ruin it.

  • Maybe people stop the video and went straight to the end. You clearly washed the chicken and said after the chicken is cleaned I pat it dry..but even if you didn’t we aren’t eating any and you wouldn’t be the first to not wash your chicken. I thought everyone did but I learned differently. GREAT RECIPE Queen!

    Ok, I made this and added teriyaki sauce and ginger. It was pretty good. I’d give it a 6 from 1 to 10. However, next time, yes next time I’m changing up a few things. I need the flavors stronger for my taste I think but I am glad I tried this.

  • you have to pay attention to cooking raw chicken in your crockpot, clean up it with bleach water, it should take you about 5 hours to cook the chicken all the way through, and try a little cream of mushroom soup the next time you do chicken for dinner!! thanks for your recipe I enjoyed it

  • One recommendation: To get the color on the chicken…High heat on a cast iron skillet with olive oil until skin in browned on both sides…no need to put in oven at end to get crust…that will dry out the chicken and overcook the meat…enjoy.

  • I don’t even wash my chicken. Call it nasty all you like, but it’s not needed. The chicken will be cleaned by the process of cooking. And washing also risks the increase of bacteria which can lead to food poisoning. Let that “sink” in.

  • I’m hopeless! Had it prepped, seasoned (deboned and cut small for kiddos) and ready to go in a crock liner and FORGOT to put in the slow cooker this morning��. Came home tonight threw them on a baking sheet, drizzled with EVOO and poppped them in the oven (broiler).   • Used this recipe in my Instant Pot. I sautéed the chicken first to brown it. Then took out the chicken and added the veggies and sauce. Added the chicken on top of veggies. Pressure cooked it for only 12 minutes and it was great.

  • Love the recipe, but for everyone on here talking about washing chicken, Both the USDA and the CDC have repeatedly told the public DO NOT WASH CHICKEN!  1. This is what cooking is for to kill bacteria.  2. Washing chicken increases the chances of food poisoning through cross contamination.  Look it up.

  • Nice recipe. However, I cringed when you put that Pyrex dish in the oven on broil. It’s oven safe but NOT safe on broil. Check the bottom. Also, I love your vintage Pyrex bowl (green one) if you want to keep it lovely please don’t put it in the dishwasher. The shine and paint will fade terribly.
