How to Make a Rainbow Smoothie! Healthy Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients: 1 ripe banana, peeled 1 cup frozen blueberries 2 tablespoons almond butter 1 tablespoon raw pumpkin seeds 1 tablespoon maca powder (or protein powder of your choice) 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom 1 cup unsweetened almond milk. In a blender, mix each frozen fruit with 1 cup vanilla yogurt and 1/2 cup almond milk. Add more almond milk if needed to blend, but the smoothies should be fairly thick. Pour each blended fruit.
Smoothies are portable and quick, and you are getting all the filling fiber from the fruits and vegetables (unlike juices where the fiber is removed). I’m kicking off the Drink the Rainbow smoothie series with a green smoothie. There are many versions of green smoothies but I used what I had on hand and made a simple recipe without exotic.
Rainbow Smoothie For the preparation of red layer you need 1 frozen banana, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, vanilla or plain, 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, water or liquid for blending.For orange layer required 1 frozen banana, 1 / 2 cup Greek yogurt, vanilla or plain, 1/2 cup frozen peaches, 1 small orange, 1/4 cup frozen mango water or liquid for blending.
