  • i tried to cook but like, the rice has brown color bcoz of the soy sauce (i put too much lmao) but other than that i taste NOTHINg KSKSKS except the egg.

  • Why did you cool the egg before heating the rice?
It’s gonna take much longer to get heat in the rice than the < 30 seconds that eggs take to scramble.
Those eggs must be way overcooked.

  • Jesus Christ is coming for His perfect, sinless church Are you a part of it? Are you ready?

Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well. If you’re reading this and you’re alive and breathing then this message is for you: God loves you so, so much, you can not fathom His love for you! It doesn’t matter what’s you’re gender, your luck so far in life, or what you have done in your past, God came in the flesh in a man named Jesus Christ and gave His life to take the punishment that should have been yours. God is waiting on all of us to repent so He can have mercy on us, and so He can reveal Himself to us (Luke 11:1-13, and Matthew 11:27-30). God’s love for you is the strongest force in existence. Stronger than gravity, and stronger than whatever you’re going through right now. If you’re already a believer, then never forget what you just read! And make sure your relationship with the Heavenly Father is active, real, honest, alive and well. Not lazy like most of us Christians are with God. People, you should NOT be talking to God “weekly” or “every now and then.” God is looking for a holy people, who know Him, who hear His voice, who live for Him, who love Him, obey His commandments, and who overcome all sin, and ONLY people who do these things will be saved (John 14:21-23, Matthew 7:21-23). If you’re still in sin, repent! Any and all sin will drag you straight to hell (Luke 13:1-9). If you’re a nonbeliever, humble yourself before God and go and see for yourself if what I’m saying is true or not, in the Bible and in prayer. God never rejects anyone who comes to Him (John 6:37). I didn’t come to argue, I was sent to change. Make a change, Christians! You aren’t meant to hang around and live for yourself like everyone else! Repent! Jesus is coming soon, and the Great Tribulation is about to start! God bless you all!!

  • Thank you! It’s an extremely simple recipe! I did add some veggies and shrimp to kick it up a bit. I brought the veggies and shrimp up to room temp, then added it after I fried the eggs and before adding the rice in your steps. It worked out perfectly!

  • wow. i thought i was the only one who thinks theres too much salt and this recipe is rubbish. who seasons without putting rice in first? thats why its uneven coating

  • Okay, wtf. We’ll go point by point:

First, the eggs: You don’t use fucking olive oil for egg fried rice. You don’t use that much salt, or that much pepper. You don’t add salt and pepper until the eggs are fully cooked, otherwise you dry out the egg(salt early) and make it look like it’s already done a quick pass through someone’s intestines(pepper early). You also won’t run into the issue of fucking up a scramble by not mixing it early enough when you crack them directly into a hot pan. You see all that shit sticking to the bottom of the pan? That’s from not giving the oil enough time to heat up, not letting your eggs sit out for 20-30 minutes, and USING FUCKING OLIVE OIL. I lied about that last part, olive oil is perfectly fine for cooking at medium-high heat, I just thought it was criminal enough to cast shade twice over using olive oil for literally any eastern dish.

Veggies: Onions need to go in first, they take longer to become aromatic. General rule of thumb is onions take 2-3 minutes, garlic takes 1, so toss the garlic in about 1:30 2:00 minutes after the onion. Those scallions need to be cut a lot thinner. Wtf? I doubt you’re alive at this point if you use this much salt in all your meals, but why not substitute your mountain of sodium for a bit more soy sauce? Rice tastes great with soy sauce, it’s actually incredibly difficult to use too much soy sauce in fried rice and in the case you do; it provides a strong deterrent to putting too much sodium in your food. Cut out half the salt you’re using, add another tablespoon of soy sauce, and not only will the dish be more flavorful it won’t fucking kill you. We call that two birds with one stone.

Rice:…Why are you using Basmati? Why are you bowling up when everything is clearly lukewarm? There’s no steam coming off the pan or bowl.

About 2 tablespoons of salt, which I have no idea why you even bothered to salt the eggs as soon as they hit the pan if you were just going to drown the recipe in salt throughout the entire recipe. It’s like you were having PTSD flashbacks of that time your dog was eaten alive by snails. I understand your vendetta. I just don’t understand why you uploaded this video.

Edit: Here’s how to make proper fried rice:
Use leftovers or cook the rice ahead of time
Fry the egg until nearly done, add a PINCH of salt, a few shakes/twists of pepper, put off to the side leaving it in the pan for ambient heat to finish cooking and retain heat.
Fuck about with your veggies, nothing should have a larger cut than the diameter of your middle/ring fingernail.
Eggs and veggies into the wok. Immediately add rice and a generous few splashes of soy sauce and a tiny amount of oyster sauce. If there’s any rice that isn’t brownish in color, you need more soy sauce. Once you get everything heated up(5-10 minutes, based on competence and timing), reach into your salt and pinch however much salt ends up between those 3 digits. GENEROUSLY pepper twice. You’ll likely add just shy of a teaspoon of pepper>mix it up>add another half teaspoon>mix>add your meat. Personally, I prefer teriyaki marinade chicken. The sweetness blends well with the salty(SALTY BECAUSE IT’S FUCKING FRIED RICE AND DOESN’T NEED ANY GOD DAMN HELP) fried rice.

  • This is pretty much how I do a quick and easy egg-fried rice (minus the black pepper.) Adding a cup of cooked chick peas (gram) with the chopped vegetables makes the dish even more substantial. ☺

  • Mam, pwede po magtanong? anong seasoning ang gamit nyo po dito at soy sauce din po anong gamit nyo gusto ko kasi ma try mam salamat po..

  • Tried this today!! It’s great! Spice eats never disappoints! Also can you please share your email? I need to contact you, planning on starting a YouTube channel! Needed to ask you something:)

  • Very good can add any combo.
Thanks for the courage to try this.
I just made it with abit of bacon carrot peas corn.
Ill try it with a meat side dish and your version.

  • Egg looks more of a half fry i like them a bit more cooked like an omelette but i still love you and your videos alot, im staying alone in a hostel and cook my own food by watching your videos, theyve greatly boosted my cooking skills. Thanks alot Mr or Miss whoever you are, God bless you.
    Keep up the foodgasms

  • This is Expectation VS. Reality lmao. that rice was still white af. You were supposed to put soy sauce after the rice so you can spread it better and it looks to bland. The egg was also meh, it will be better when you mix the egg first like cooking scrambled eggs and add salt then so the seasoning will spread evenly

  • Such simple and delicious fried… Thank you can you please share the link of pan you use for cooking? That would be really helpful.

  • the same way how I am making it too.. but I will add chopped sausage because kids like it more. Good show and straight to the content ty!

  • I think that rice should be steamed, and not boiled. If you boil it, it remains too sticky and mushy. If you steam it, the grains remain separate and the texture is fluffy but nutty.

  • I mean really!! Everyday i wake up thinking i will take a break from cooking, and then i get a notification of yet another amazing simple to cook dish from spice eats! Eventually i end up in the kitchen.. gr8 work as always

  • It’s not easy to make video like this, I know a lot of you may think it does not look hard, but it’s time consuming, good job @Mishra Jee Kitchen, keep it up!

  • Hi Spice Eats! So, I love having fried rice with Chinese starters.. but when I tried making at home, couldn’t get the taste like in the restaurants.. always thought that they put a lot of MSG. I have tried your recipes before and then I saw this.. the colour looked so similar to my favourite one. Tried this with your dragon chicken yesterday… And what can I say… couldn’t believe that it tasted just like the restaurant!!! . M so so thankful for your wonderful recipes. My hubby and son couldn’t stop droooooooling over the dragon chicken too! Thank you once again.. keep rocking!

  • Really good. Thanks so much. Now I know I wasn’t putting enough oil in. I used 2 eggs, no spring onion (who keeps vegetables at home ffs) and seasoned with Thai Maggi sauce and it was the Friggin Bomb. Gonna add tuna next time.

  • Been having an appetite issue for days now. This was the only thing that finally triggered the craziest hunger. Audio wasn’t even needed Thank you

  • From a Chinese perspective: Yikes. This isn’t egg fried rice. It’s fried rice with egg and mixed vegetables…. Fried rice can stay white and take on a little salt and pepper (soy sauce is optional, and I avoid it, tbh), but…. If this is fried rice by another type of cuisine, please let me know.

  • I mean, the way she cooks rice isn’t entirely wrong since the rice she use is more like long-rice (like indica rice or Thai rice) and thats how they cook when they want dry and silky texture for fried rice but…

  • Some people are saying that it’s pointless to own a rice cooker when you rarely cook rice. I bet most of them also rarely use a blender but they have it anyway. Life is too short to only eat bread and potato. Eat more rice now!

  • I made it following the way you did with my father, it tastes really good. I added bacon to it. So thanks for sharing this way of cooking it (It was my first time making it)

  • How is noone talking about how this video was made?!
It’s so beautiful and you can see that there was a lot of effort put into it!
