  • I’m definitely going to try this recipe. I have such a sweet tooth, but I am finding it hard to find good baking recipes that are vegan and also gluten-free. I just tried making bread sticks with chickpea flour, but they didn’t turn out so well. So, I’m just a beginner here and appreciate having this great medium of YouTube to be able to actually watch the process rather than just reading a recipe. I have a small animal sanctuary so there have been MANY animals who have changed my life.

  • Half a banana in the center. I can’t believe I never thought to do that. I may give your substitutions a try but I have to say I’m pretty happy with my recipe. Still, you have yet to put up a recipe I didn’t like.

  • Go to minutes 7:20 in the video. I’ve included a link to the strawberry bread recipe. You’ll see it pop up in the top right hand corner. Click on it and it’ll take you to the video. Thanks for watching and enJOY the strawberry bread:) Marta

  • Just wanted to let you know that I made this bread last night and I had it for breakfast today, it is absolutely delicious.  Next time I will try to make it without the cocoa powder just to make it like a regular banana bread.  Do you think it will still turn out good without the cocoa powder?  What are your thoughts?  Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe.  I have also made your blueberry scones and once again, so, so delicious.  I love your recipes and thank you for them and all your hard work!!!:)

  • That’s actually a lot like the banana bread my mom used to make. The banana in the center is what really cements it. Yes, believe it or not I actually like to cook. When I started really focusing on working out I realized how much garbage I was putting into my body and made some serious changes. In part, thanks to your channel. But seriously? No walnuts?

  • Hi Abbey, love all the ingredients in the recipe and the final result looks super yummy. Just one question, can I substitute the coconut flour with something else?

  • I hope you like this recipe, it is one of my favorites. And, it’s helping me get through this quarantine. I hope you are staying safe and well. XO.

  • This is the BEST banana bread I have ever tasted!!!. I had all the ingredient and made it today.. so so so good!!! definitely a keeper and I’m going to freeze! Thank you Joy!

  • I don’t understand why people write healthy in the title and then use 3 different types of sugar in the recipe. This particular recipe is NOT healthy.

  • I sadly have never had a pet personally but I did just visit my Aunt and I fell in love with her dog! His named was Hanz and he was just always ready to have fun and make you happy. I now really really want a dog. (: BTW the recipe looks yummy and that strawberry cake sounds amazing. Its almost strawberry season!

  • Absolutely love your recipe! By far the best banana bread I have ever made it had such great flavor! Thanks for the trick with the wax paper that worked so well and I think helped make the bread come out even better!

  • My pup she’s a Labrador retriever, she was a victim of the vet industry. Was feeding her high quality kibble, getting regular vaccines, using flea chemicals, doing all the things the vet told me. Then she started having seizures. Long story short, after spending thousands on tests all they could tell me was to out her on more drugs. I now make all her food whole foods, use herbs and make my own herbal spray for fleas. She never gets fleas and stopped having seizures for 3 years now!

  • nice, btw, anyone know a healthy recipe with unprocessed and minimal ingredients for sprouted bread? a recipe for that would be much more practical and healthy imo.

  • i’d love to see your strawberry bread recipe if you have the link. My first pet was a cat call sylvester and it’s a bit sad, but his passing changed my life. It hit me very hard and it took a long time for me to come to terms with it. That experience taught me a lot and made me realise how much i love animals. My parents have two dogs now and i’ve really bonded with one of them, harley the jack russell, to the extent that he talks to me on the phone when i ring my parents lol

  • I REALLY have to stop watching your videos after dinner. By the way, where can I find those measuring cups and spoons online? I don’t live in the US so I have no idea what 1 cup, 1 tsp etc, are worth in milligramme.
