Instructions Melt butter and brush on to both sides of each sourdough slice. In a large skillet toast the bread, two slices at a time. Place two slices of cheese on top of one of the bread slices. Cook up some bacon until nice and crispy, then wilt down some fresh spinach in the leftover bacon grease.

More flavor, of course. Crumble the bacon and add most of it, along with all the wilted spinach, to a creamed mixture of cream cheese, Greek yogurt, parmesan cheese, and mayonnaise. Sour cream can be used instead of the yogurt. Heat olive oil in skillet over med-high heat.

Add spinach leaves and garlic cloves. Saute until spinach leaves have wilted (be careful not to overcook). In last few minutes of cooking time, add cheddar cheese, and cook until it is melted. 1. To make the garlic butter chicken thighs with creamy spinach and bacon: Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken thighs on both sides with salt and pepper, and sear in the pan for 5-8 minutes on each side, or until.

Store one pot bacon spinach and chicken dinner in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. To reheat, add 1 tbsp olive oil to a pan and heat until shimmery. Add chicken and cook 2-3 minutes per side, until hot. Add rest of bacon and spinach dinner to pan and heat until piping hot, about another 3 minutes. The best grilled cheese ever!!

  • she never said she was trying to make this healthy. I do agree that a whole stick of butter is too much so I would just use half or half of some healthy oil and half butter (ghee) and less cheese. This looks good though

  • Hello “Sam The Cooking Guy”, on my mobile phone I left a window (page?) in my browser open for months. I hardly ever do that, that´s only for “important” pages. Now why did I leave it open: Because it is so delicious I wanted to thank you for this recipe!! So. Thanks a lot!! It also works superb with gf sandwich bread! (Fun fact: In the meanwhile I follow you here on YouTube but didn´t “recoginse” you.) So now I can finally close that page on my iphone.:)

  • So because Jade loves Monterey…its “kid friendly”…& “all kids love grilled cheese”…what a myopic view she has. Also, maybe she should wait till Jade is older to feed her dead animals so she can make the choice for herself.

  • Me: Nice i am hungry maybe i can cook it after watching the video.
Me 8m later: I dont want to make my own Cheese, i just want a Sandwich:/

  • I worked in a sandwich shop, when people got off duty they’d make grilled cheese cause it was a nice thing. my personal grilled cheese was garlic in melted butter, gently spray your bread, add some oregano; melt some mild cheddar and toast bread, add bacon and shaved fresh mozzarella and retoast it, add more bacon as discretion; wrap in foil and say cheers to your coworkers.

  • So I really like making grilled cheese and I usually do a mix of mayonnaise and mustard and it tastes great also I love using Muenster cheese it kind of lacks flavor but it is really stretchy

  • Thank you. I have made some variation of this recipe two nights straight and both times it has been DELICIOUS! Thanks for sharing.

  • I gotta tell you… I love ALL your videos, but I WAIT ON PINS AND NEEDLES for your vegan recipe vids most of all. I am not vegan. But I’m going to TRY to be 2-3 days a week (to start) and I welcome your ideas. Because of you, I have bought the vegan parm… I like it. Sam, you’re a Canadian Jew from what city? Just curious…

  • I like all of your videos. But I do like this one as it is short and to the point. Do more of these or make edited versions of the more long form videos. Please!!! Love your channel!!!

  • Am I the only one who finds it not only silly, but distracting from the recipe that she speaks with a perfectly normal American accent, but suddenly has this Italian accent when she says the names of ingredients.. Kinda annoying

  • My mouth is literally watering looking at that vegan goodness! I never thought of putting cheese and spinach on the other side of the bread too!

  • Every body talking about it’s not healthy but I never heard her say it was. She just said the spinach is good for the kids. Which it is and in terms of healthit’s healthier than all the frozen processed food that you feed your kids. Surely you don’t think Jade eats like this every day! Stop being stupid!
