  • Uncle Bens rice tastes like a babys diaper. It’s fucking disgusting just cook your own rice you’re not wasting that much time and it’s better than having your whole mean ruined.

  • i do like the veggie alternative’s that i have tried, i have thought about giving up meat.. but then with how things have been the last month or so i’ve cut right back on meat and the last week the only meat i have had has been in the burrito.. i’m going to try it with some veggie meat on sunday and see how it is..:) i’m not quite a master with counting calories but i’m getting there:D i never knew on the pre-packed fruit and veg all the cals are on the front:D

  • Just did basically a knock-off of this. I flavored some chicken with hoisin, sweet n sour, lemon juice, and honey in a pan until it was nice and brown and sticky, left out the rice, and used carrots instead of celery just because we didn’t have any. Also, used mint instead of coriander. It was damn good. The only reason I left out the rice is because my mom’s diabetic (this was her lunch), so she tries to hold back on the grains, but she had pasta yesterday. I try to make her meals that will fill her up without destroying her health. So, Food Tube, from my family to yours, thank you guys.
Now that I’ve said that, I can’t wait for the comments telling me all the stuff I did wrong to come rolling in.

  • How can you support uncle ben’s? This company is owned by Monsanto. Monsanto the company which tries to control the whole agribusiness and kill off every natural plants! I was a big fan of you but advertising this only for the money against your principles is very poor

  • Jamie Jamie JAIME, I love making food have been since I was 12! I am Indian and would love to come and cook on your channel if you would so kindly give me the opportunity! Love Food Tube!

  • Dude, you totally left the tortilla on the burner and moved onto something else. She was looking at you like you was insane! Were you drunk?

  • You know she’s a good mother and wife just by how she can read Jamie’s mind and help him without him saying anything.
Constantly popping in and out, respect!

  • A grocery store-bought item that could substitute for BBQ sauce (for a Mexican flavor) is Old El Paso Red Enchilada Sauce. So delicious w/ Red Bell Peppers, Sweet Onions, Fresh Cilantro & Melted Cheddar blend!!

  • I have been watching Jamie for many years  and never ever have I heared him like this: ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm ehm

  • i’ve since had these 2night in a row for tea:D they are just the best thing i’ve ever had!! and i had them with the courgette fries! i was in heaven!! the first time i made the fries tho i didn like them, the coating didnt stick to them very well so the second time i double dipped them in the crums and i cut them in chunks rather than fries:D

  • Hey Jamie. Thanks for that recipe it’s great. Only trouble is my old man can’t handle any chilli. Is there an alternative that gives a recipe that bite but without the burn? Cheers, Gyll from NZ

  • “People love burritos at the moment”? Jamie, everyone has always loved burritos. Heck, aliens have visited Earth because of burritos, wars have been happening because of burritos and peace on Earth will be restored once the holy burrito decides so. A little respect, please!

  • Hey Annie thanks for the wonderful recipe Can I ask is there a name for that kind of wrap? Where you use to tortilla wraps, I’ve never seen that kind of style before.

I find the store bought wraps are too small. So laying 2 wraps side by side is a nice idea I’ll try

  • Thank you so much for this recipe! Currently making some burritos with a bunch of stuff but have no clue how to work with everything. This helped a lot!:)

  • Looks so yummy! I’m making beef and bean burritos for dinner tonight. Well, whenever the refried beans are finished. I have to prepare mine from dried beans still yummy!

  • Hey that sauce is Chulula hot sauce! I use it on almost anything that I want to taste “mexican”-like. Im not a big fan of uncle bens rice, but they really saved me a few years ago when I had absolutely no time to cook at all. Not the precooked ones but those that came in that fast cooking bags.

  • I just love Jamie Oliver!!! especially whilst I am eating my meal. It only makes me feel my own cooking is taste as great as whatever the one he is making lol awesome:-D

  • Eat immature pet chicken and smell of a leather jacket especially applicable to women. As for men, man boobs and erectile dysfunction.

  • Прекрасный рецепт, и очень приятное видео, жалко только что моё знание английского не позволило понять что за специя была перед паприкой.

  • @Zeviel I am so pleased you liked it. I still make them but without the meat. I use a veggie crumble that is like crumbled beef. It almost tastes the same. I make them quite often. It’s one of our faves!

  • i’m making those tomorrow! you have a lovely recipe. i liked to see pico de gallo in there, because it’s something i never think of.

  • Hi Jamie,

I am a great follower of your recipes and have tried so many of them. I used to hate going to kitchen and cook but after watching you videos and trying some recipes, I have now passion for cooking and experimenting new dishes for my family and friends.
This is a good dish no doubt but I am surprised about one thing in this video that you are saying not to throw away the stalks (I make pesto of stalkstalks of corriander and do use in almost all recipes) but I can see Kerryann plucking stalks and throwing away. Why?

  • Jamie, I loved your stuff, you´ve been an idol in the kitchen to me. Why in hell you would sell out to Uncle Bens is beyond me. This ricelike garbage you put in there is perfectly unnecessary nor tastes anything like good rice cooked to perfection.
I can´t think of a reason you´d condone processed rice with hydrogenated vegetable oil in it over the real deal other that you´re a huge sell-out. Huge letdown, thought you were above that.

  • Great. Thanks for this. Never done a Pico de Gallo before or done Burritos. Thinking of doing the soon. Thanks for making it clear to follow.
