Scrape the hummus into a small serving bowl. Serve with cut vegetables and seeded crackers or pita chips. Note: The hummus can be made the day before and refrigerated overnight.

We use chives, dill, and basil, but any tender leafy herbs do the trick; it’s the perfect way to use up. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cut a ½-inch slice off the top of the garlic heads.

Drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil over the bulbs, and then wrap in foil. Green goddess hummus is creamy, flavorful, and packed with fresh herbs and veggies. It’s a spin on my classic hummus recipe, but adds several greens in the form of spinach, parsley, and green onion.Serve it as an appetizer, spread it onto a wrap, or include it as a sauce in your macro bowl. My previous go-to, though, was a crudites platter with hummus.

Green goddess combines garlic, mayo and sour cream with fresh herbs that give it its characteristic green color. To make this hummus, start by blending tahini and lemon juice. Once smooth, add olive oil, parsley, tarragon, chives, chopped garlic and salt. With the machine running, drizzle in 1 tablespoon of water at a time, until the hummus is silky smooth with absolutely zero clumps.

Add the fresh herbs and continue to whirl until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings, adding more salt, garlic or lemon if needed. Here she is.

The most green and fresh homemade hummus I’ve ever met. My standard for great hummus has risen over the years and reached a new height in Israel last fall, naturally. This one is a winner. I borrowed the fresh herbs from classic green goddess dressing, and whipped them into the hummus for a spectacularly green and flavorful hummus. I always have hummus in the fridge, as do most vegans or plant-based eaters I know.

Crudités and hummus are great but they can only take you so far and personally I like a little more than that for lunch. That’s where these quick and easy Hummus Crackers come in! So called for 2 reasons: 1. They’re perfect with hummus. 2.

  • I swear I saw him the other day at my work. Le Pain Quotidien DTLA, will be having Tender Greens, as an up and coming neighbor. Maybe he was visiting and grabbed an organic cup of coffee from us..maybe I was imagining it. In any case, this recipe is spot on, and I cannot wait to make it. His voice is very lax-he should do radio.
