From iBreatheImHungry.com this is such an easy recipe to throw together, and yet so tasty. Makes six servings. It’s inexpensive, delicious, Paleo and Whole 30 compliant! You could also make it in a slow cooker, but you’d lose the crispy skin on the chicken. It would still be very tasty, though!. Ingredients. For the cauliflower rice:. • 7 cups finely chopped raw cauliflower. • 1/4 cup chopped parsley. • 1/3 cup pitted green olives, quartered. • 2 Tbsp lemon zest. • 2 Tbsp lemon juice. • 1 cup chicken stock. • 1/4 tsp black pepper. • 1/2 tsp kosher salt (or more to taste). • 1/2 tsp garlic powder. • 2 Tbsp olive oil. For the baked chicken:. • 2 lbs chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, or breasts). • 1 tsp kosher salt. • 1 tsp garlic powder. • 1/2 tsp black pepper. • 1 tsp onion powder. • 1 tsp paprika (smoked if you have it). Instructions. 1. Combine all of the cauliflower rice ingredients together in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Spread out in a 13 x 9 baking dish.. 2. Combine all of the chicken seasonings in a small bowl. Rub all over the chicken pieces. Place the chicken pieces on top of the cauliflower rice. Sprinkle any remaining seasoning over the top.. 3. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crisp. Serve hot.. 4. Alternatively, you could put all of this in a crockpot and cook it on low for 6 hours.. Notes. Riced cauliflower makes up the base of this healthy “grain” bowl. Just throw some cauliflower in the food processor to get finely chopped vegetables that magically resemble white rice. Top with sweet potatoes, black beans, avocado and a zesty mojo sauce for a taste of Cuba.. Subscribe to Eating Well: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=eatingwell. root vegetables, such as sweet potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, or a combination, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes. 4 tablespoons. olive oil, divided, plus more for serving. 1 1/2 teaspoons. kosher salt, divided. Freshly ground black pepper. 4 ounces. feta cheese, drained.
1/4 cup. pumpkin seeds. 3 cups. fresh or frozen cauliflower rice. Add the carrots to the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until they’re finely chopped and take on the texture of “rice.” Add one third of the cauliflower florets to the bowl.
Toss the cauliflower and chopped carrot pieces into your food processor or blender and pulse until it looks something like rice. Add carrots, cauliflower and coconut aminos, cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add peas, the rest of the green onions, rice vinegar, sesame oil and scrambled eggs. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, until the peas are warmed through but cauliflower is. 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided.
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes. 1/8 teaspoon chili powder. 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (6 ounces each) 3 cups fresh cauliflower florets (about 1/2 small cauliflower) 1 tablespoon canola oil.
1 small red onion, finely chopped. Prepare cauliflower rice by following these instructions. Then heat a large rimmed skillet over medium heat.
Once hot, add oil, garlic, onion, and a pinch each salt and pepper. Sauté for 1 minute, stirring frequently. Bowl Ingredients 1 cup long grain white rice ($0.62) 1.5 cups water ($0.00) 1 15 oz. can black beans ($0.89) 1 cup frozen corn ($0.20) 1 Tbsp cooking oil ($0.08) 1 pint grape tomatoes ($2.29) Fresh cilantro and sliced green onion for garnish ($0.20).
Cauliflower rice, made with chopped cauliflower, makes an easy, low-carb substitute for white rice. Find recipes for cauliflower fried rice and other delicious recipes. Farmers Market Breakfast Bowl Instead of regular rice, this grain-free breakfast bowl features cumin-spiced carrot “rice.” Swappable veggies: Replace the carrots and beets with broccoli or cauliflower rice, use just 2 or 3 veggies, or add cherry.
MAIN INGREDIENTS 1 sweet potato 1 tsp taco seasoning 2 roma roma tomatoes Fresh cilantro 1 red onion 1 jalapeño 1 lime 1 can black beans 2 cloves garlic 8 oz cauliflower florets ¼ cup vegan sour cream 1 tbsp vegetable oil* Salt and pepper* *Not included.

Reduce heat to medium-high and cook until water evaporates and cauliflower is tender, about 3 minutes; transfer to bowl with rice.
If you’d prefer to have cooked cauliflower rice, cook the processed cauliflower in a sauté pan over medium heat, stirring frequently for 5 to 7 minutes until tender.
Add the cauliflower and another ladleful of the broth and continue to cook in this fashion, not too fast and not too slowly, adding more broth when the rice is almost dry, for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the rice is al dente.
Divide the steamed cauliflower rice between 2 bowls.

Meanwhile, put the cauliflower florets into the mixing bowl, add 1 teaspoon of the olive oil and toss to mix – the cauliflower will pick up a little of the seasoning left in the bowl.
Make the cauliflower rice pilaf by cutting the head of cauliflower into four smaller pieces and grating it on the largest part of a box grater (trying not to grate too much of the stalk) and setting aside.

Pretty cool video, but farmed fish is basically poison. I like wild cod as it is also fairly cheap. You probably want a fattier fish because fat is healthy and satiating, but I cook my cod in butter for maximum fat. Mackerel is great, but I can’t stand bones. I can barely tolerate salmon, which is also a good, fatty fish.
Just wanna say I believe in god but the result is the same everything in nature is perfect. What I mean by this is people avoid fish high in mercury but nature being amazing fish contains alot of selenium. Scientists done a few studies and found that the selenium in fish as fish is VERY high is selenium actually counters the mercury so eat almost any fish you want as long as it’s not poisonous any other way
You’re doing keto except not super strict, you should be careful with eating/drinking heavy amounts of sugar if you accidentally go into ketosis. A study showed that it might damage your capillaries
Some of the best advice for weight loss or exercising can be found, of all things, in BoJack Horseman. “It gets easier. But ya gotta do it every day. That’s the hard part.”
I’m not gonna lie, I’m quite surprised that you, a guy who definitely know how to make a proper research, made the most newbie diet mistake. The fundamental principle of losing fat or making “reductions” as you may say, it’s not about cutting carbs (unless you’re a white skinny girl stuck in 2007), it’s the caloric deficit with an appropriate proteic intake per weight. Unless you’re into keto or something like that, carbs are still needed because cutting carbs has a negative impact on your performance, specially if you lift heavy weights.
Weight training is important, especially for guys, where simply slimming down is generally not enough (you’ll end up being too skinny). That said, it is extremely important to supplement your regimen with cardio. In such a case, walking is by far the superior form of cardio. It is low stress which helps with sustainability and consistency, as well as managing your hunger. Jogging or Running is only better if you are on an extreme time crunch, but from what I’ve seen, almost all people have the time to work in a 30 min to 45 min walk (or more). It’s certainly easier, even if you’re tired from work/exams/etc. to go on a nice, calm walk.
I like the looks of that tilapia cauli. sadly last time i checked aldis only had farm raised china tilapia. im sure the farm was right next to the LiPo battery factory. That first week is the worst, however if you can make it one day then you can make it two…
Question: Could you replace the tilapia for say chicken? I’m not all that big into seafood and could honestly use something quick, simple, and easy to make like this
Well, to put your mind ease, youre are 1 out of 7ish billion…impacting the biosphere will be like the equivalent of a drunnk narwhale farting impacting Neptunes orbit around the sun:)
Love you guys wish i could have every fod that you made in my house every day make more food please i subscribe i will do it on my computer ipad tv xbox other tv other ipad tablet iphone just please make more videosim so foucused i go blind
A perfect diet for somone to fail at loosing weight for any significant amount of time, eat less calories then you burn it is a simple as that, don’t eat this sweadish jail food
I honestly don’t understand this ethos of dieting. If you eat a varied diet normally why don’t you continue to eat a varied diet just adjusting the macronutrient composition? Have some steak, some chicken, fish, pork, eggs, tofu, etc. Have bean sprouts, broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, radishes, carrots, celery. Mix and match
Eating just one thing sounds so miserable, especially when it’s “ground cauliflower and plain fish”
Also if you’re concerned about carb reduction why are you making cauliflower rice? You can just eat the fish right?
I will not ever in my live concider cutting Carbs. Carbs are good, tasty and even healthy. If it’s the right Carbs, and/or processed in the right way. It’s all just calories. When I was about to hit the 100 Kilo mark, I went on “diet”. And it was suprisingly easy. Secret is: Just eat less. How you might ask? Eat SLOW. When you are (really) hungry, you tend to eat a lot in a short time. That is, because your body is kinda slow in indicating, that you actually had enough. If you eat slow, the body will realize this way sooner, making you stop eating completely full, with way less food consumed.
Also, if you are “acute hungry” take some Paprica or whatever the fuck and eat it, again, slowly. You will propably be satisfied. Not enough to make you full, but to enough to no not be hungry anymore.
And for last: Sport. Don’t waste your money on a year long gym subscription, you only gonna use a month. Get a damn Bike. Get to where ever you want/can by bike. It actually saved me time and a lot of stress over public transportation, whea I was a Student.
Oh and if you got a lot of time and need some money… Later tat semester I did food delivery via Bika. Had to cut all Diet Measurements, because I was close to being underweight after like 4 -5 Month, lol. Had around 10 hours of Work a week, and on stressfull shifts like over 80 Kilometers in 4 hours.
yo yo, it’s me, totally real food scientist here. carbs and sugar are bad for you as carbs get turned into sugar and sugar is burnt instead of the stuff that puffs your belly up, so low carb low sugar should get you thinner
It’s still amaze me just how a lot of people don’t know about Custokebon Secrets (do a google search) even though many people lost a ton of weight with it. Thanks to my pal who told me about this. I’ve lost a lot of fat.
I skipped 10 seconds and got this sentence “but for body building style meal prep, which is really what this is, I’m going to be eating my wallet, my body, or my biosphere”
Whenever I see these diet videos, I get the need to part with my own wisdom regarding weight loss and other such things. I’m only 19, but I imagine a lot of people have a similar problem to what I have. Hello. In the process of about a month, I managed to lose about a stone, and would proceed to shed numerous more. Currently, I’m about 9st 10lb, but I used to be 14st. If you truly want to lose weight, there is only one important piece of advice I can give you, that being that you must be motivated.
Extremely motivated. Like, not the sort of motivation you get lying in bed one night. I mean the type of motivation you build up over the course of a few weeks, generally considering your eating habits and how to adjust them accordingly. Whatever your motivation, I must insist that, while it is fine to get close to hating your body, as I did, you must not allow any loathing to prevent you from action. Don’t believe you are a lost cause. This motivation must see you through the end of your diet, to the point where you are happy with your weight. If, during the course of your weight-loss you decide that there are foods choices that you enjoy, I insist you keep them anyway. You may end up being happy with your weight at one point, but, due to your choices, continue to lose weight anyway, like I did. I was happy at 12st. The extra 3st or so have been a happy bonus. Just don’t starve yourself. You may feel inclined to, but that is incredibly stupid and will never solve your problems. Remember that food is to be enjoyed and not hated.
https://youtu.be/XKOPuHfr4ro can you make this not one person has done a video and it’s so creative you can buy all the stuff you need on eBay and follow wolfies videos to help I’
Shut the fuck up criticizing them for messing up. All of us know that you can’t even do 2 times better so the fact that you guys are hating is ridiculous. You guys don’t even have YOUTUBE videos but criticize Tasty for running out of ideas. Some people only have post notifications on to dislike the videos. You guys make no sense! It’s good to know that tasty has atleast 1 loyal subscriber. You guys are so rude and feel like it’s necessary to hate and that you’ll die if you don’t. In every single video, you guys are bitching about Oh that’s not from france or That’s not the name! You guys are petty. If you’re hating on someone that obviously means you have nothing better then to sit in front of a motherfucking screen all day sending hate comments. Shut the fuck up being rude to tasty and that’s all.
I really like how you break down rather complex things into something perfectly doable for the average guy without going the “you have to do this exact same thing” route. I’m considering going with lean chicken for the most part, mostly because i like fish way too much. The idea of making the food not a reward but a nutritional necessity is great, and totally agree on that you have to remember to treat yourself once in a while. Repetitiveness however will kill the mood after a while, might do a switch to fish after week two. Really nice idea with the cauliflower “rice”. Anyways picked up quite a few hints from the vid that will make getting started quite easy.
My problem with weight loss is…its too boring. I am 187cm at about 135kg, give or take.
I get really into something, like cycling. But, I will obsess over it for a time and then one day, the idea of getting on a bike repulses me.
Same with eating. I tend to binge on certain foods. Like that soup. I made some, ate it. And ate it. Till I cannot stand it. That is with anything. I also tend to go to the shop and get food, especially if it is something I want to eat. But, I will lose interest in cooking by the time I get home and it rots. Then I have to listen to my wife nag at me about that. Plus, it takes so long to see results. I have seen “safe” amounts of weight to lose in a week anywhere from 2kg all the way down to 100g per week. How is that even measured.
I am a numbers person, so I like to know how much in, how much out. So I get into the calorie thing. Cheststraps, wrist monitors, whatever I have tried them to measure, sorry, estimate my calorie expenditure. Even that nonsense about BMR. Averaged out over a week, they tell me I burn about 3000 to even 4000 calories per day. But, there are contra arguments that say those monitors, even the ones from reputable companies, over estimate by as much as 80%. That is criminal! Also, food labels only need to be accurate to 20%? Again, criminal. I tried power pedals on my bike, I heard those are are accurate to within 2%. 90 minutes of some serious effort only yielded…132 calories. Imagine the heartbreak.
I get it, have to burn more than taking in. Easy. But what good does it do to do a great effort, be it with weights or cardio, or whatever, then pig out on food after the fact. What good is downing a kg of pasta (about 4000calories!) knowing you have a tough workout the next day, but no idea how much you work? See? It is pointless.Oh yeah, they tell you to eat during your workout, too. What? Fat people need to eat during a workout? Counterintuitive, no?
for 4 days, I forced myself to eat only 2 apples and a can of tuna or salmon and all the water I wanted, with fresh lemon or orange juice sprinkled in. I rode my bike for 90 each day. (after, I did not ride for a month) at the end of the 4 days, I actually gained weight.
I have come to the conclusion that you can run 5 marathons in one day and burn 2 calories. Eat just one carrot, you ate all the calories.

Whenever you eat Cruciferous vegetables that you cook you always either cut them 45 minutes before you eat them or add mustard powder after you cook them. This vastly increasers sulforaphane which has many profound benefits.
Anyone tried the Custokebon Secrets? I’ve heard many amazing things about it and my friend lost a lot of weight with Custokebon Secrets (just search it on google).
Hello there, have you considered Custokebon Secrets yet? Simply just do a google search engine search. On there you’ll discover an awesome suggestions about how exactly you can lost a ton of weight. Why not give it a shot? perhaps it is going to work for you too.
Ok my guy if you want to be on a diet and want to loose weight don’t eat salt or use oils because it’s all fat, you might say “you need the salt to survive or you need the fat” well if you’re trying to loose weight you should eat more salt or fat or carbs because you already have enough of the fat that there’s no point of adding more by adding salt or fat to your diet, in a diet to all the people out there you shouldn’t really have a party in your mouth by adding salt or anything, diets suck and will probably taste really healthy but that’s the point to losing weight, not making it taste good
How do you not get bored af eating the same thing multiple times a day for days? That’s my biggest thingI will go crazy eating the same thing over and over.
If you want to make it my brother and I make a protein kind of milkshake.
We grind up a food processor’s worth of ice then add in the dry protein powder, tablespoon of xanthan gum and however much sweetener you want then it gets mixed for a little bit and
Then you just start adding in water till you get the consistency you want
I usually end up putting it in the freezer for a little while and mixing it every 15 minutes to half an hour or so till it’s the consistency I want.
It has the consistency as if you took ice cream and put a slushie in.
I found the coulisflower rice being difficult quite amusing… On the day we have it on the menu I just make it between other stuff… It’s literally the easiest side dish we do:)
Adam, Thank you very much for this video, I came back and re watched it when I started dieting for inspiration. The cauliflower rice/ tilapia is great, even cold. I like to add red chili paste as I eat it for a little kick. What I really want to thank you for is the vegetable soup. My entire life I thought I didn’t like vegetable soup, turns out I just didn’t like the veggies that were being put into it. My current version is: carrots, shallots, dried mushrooms (oyster this time around), frozen peas, roma tomatoes, lots of garlic and a serrano pepper for just a hint of kick. I could, and currently do eat it every day
Tilapia has low levels of omega-3 fatty acids and high levels of omega-6 which isn’t a good fatty acid. Good that you don’t get tilapia from China because their farming practices are kind of sick.
Q: Are you sending a bad message by telling your audience that you, a person with a perfectly normal body for a 37-year-old man, need to lose weight? A: I worried about that, but look, everybody has their own goals, and these are mine. I’m fine with how I look, but I don’t feel very good, and I don’t want to buy all new clothes. When I’m stronger and leaner than I am now, I have more energy, less back pain, and I sleep way better. And yes, a leaner me will also probably present a more “marketable look” in the video medium, which is something I do need to think about these days. Also I have a hot wife, and that alone is a good reason to try to keep my shit tight. But you do you.
Q: Why can’t you put more herbs and spices on that bland fish? A: You absolutely can, but I find decoupling nutrition from pleasure helps me maintain focus on my fitness goals during times like these. I believe they call it “functional eating.”
Q: What was up with that intro? A: It was an homage to the Hodgetwins — fitness YouTubers who used to start all their videos with something like, “Hey man, you looking to make some gains?” And now that I’ve explained the joke, it’s not funny anymore. But they’re still funny, so you should go check out their channel.
Q: Why don’t you pronounce the “h” in “herbs”? A: It’s very rare to hear an American pronounce the “h.” People here who do it are usually either making a mistake, or they’re being pretentious by trying to sound British. I sound pretentious enough as it is.
Q: Why did you pronounce “Vidalia” like that? A: I have been to Vidalia, Georgia, and the surrounding onion-growing region many times. It’s an hour from my house. I’ve interviewed onion farmers there. How I said it in the video is basically how most people there say it (though I lack the Southern drawl). You can say it how you want to say it.
Q: Do you realize that freshwater fish aren’t technically seafood? A: Yes. So do the marine biologists at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and yet they still talk about freshwater fish on their website seafoodwatch.org because in English we don’t have a better single word to describe all the aquatic animals we eat.
Q: Do you realize that carbs are actually great/awful, or that strength training is great/awful, or that some other nutrition or exercise thing is actually the worst/best? A: I am hardly an expert, but I’ve interviewed lots of scientists and read lots of scientific literature about diet and exercise. If you’re saying something like this to me, I think it’s probably the case that you are massively oversimplifying the available science. Also, good nutrition is bespoke nutrition.
Q: Why do you squat the way you do? A: Squat form is a very controversial thing on the internet, in part because there are lots of different ways to squat depending on your goals (i.e. playing football vs growing Tom Platz quads) and also because good squat form is highly dependent on your own personal biomechanics. I’ve been squatting many years, and I’ve had trainers look at my form several times. This is the basic form that I have found works with my structure, and it’s hardly unusual. However, I will go deeper, lower-bar and certainly much heavier as I progress. I’ve been almost sedentary for a year. Especially as I get older, I find that I need to be VERY cautious about any exercises involving spinal compression until my core strength comes back on line. The squat you see me doing here is what feels safest to me at this stage in my process. And yes, I deadlift too, but it will be several weeks before my core is strong enough for that.
Q: If you’re dieting, why is there Coke and other unhealthy things in your fridge? A: I am not the only person who lives in my house. Also, regarding the other ingredients, I am continuing to develop/test/shoot normal recipes for this channel, because not everyone in the world wants to eat cauliflower rice and tilapia for the next two months. Hell, I don’t really want to.
Potatoes are underrated. 100g of potato only has about 80 calories. The low caloric density means you get it eat a lot of it by volume without overloading on the calorie.
Honestly, potatoes for cutting are much better than rice. Rice has 130 calories per 100g.
Though cauliflower rice is even lower than potatoes.

I have a friend that used to weigh 410 pounds. He was less than 30 years old. His doctor told him he was going to be diabetic if he did not lose a lot of weight. Being the happy-go-lucky guy that he was he studied researched and found a diet plan that works for him. He now weighs a comfortable 185 lbs He lost his weight and keeps his weight off by eating somewhere like 8 to 10 meals a day. Now that means each meal is no bigger than a bologna sandwich. Or an apple and a granola bar. Or a yogurt and some raisins. But he eats every 3 hours. I’m serious I’ve watched him. He is amazing. Just saying

How does one go about storing the said vegetable soup? I loved it but following the recipe I think I’ve created little too much for one day eating.

Again, how many servings does the recipe make? Otherwise, there’s no point in including nutritional information. Does it only make one serving?
Adam: so i put my tilapia on a oven and it looks good:D
Filipinos:
alright we are gonna burn this fucking fishes remember no witnesses YOLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Best types of food you want to eat are low calorie, high volume food (food that makes you full but has low calories) that you can stick too.
The number likes is what food you are 1Pizza 2Hamburger 3Taco 4Ice-Cream 5Candy (any kind you want) 6Cake 7Pancakes 8French Fries 9Chips(any kind you want) 0Any food you want
You should check recent studies on protein intake, quantities and types.
New research links longevity with low protein diets around the world.
so happy you are using parsley i checked the stats with cilantro parsley wins in my opinion so much hate towards those who don’t like cilantro.
The biggest part of weight loss is intake not workout. The both matter but intake is about 70% of the equation. Thanks for the video
I could, and currently do eat it every day
Looks pretty good. And maybe when it’s cooked this way, the cauliflower won’t smell as gross as it sometimes does while being cooked.

He now weighs a comfortable 185 lbs
He lost his weight and keeps his weight off by eating somewhere like 8 to 10 meals a day. Now that means each meal is no bigger than a bologna sandwich. Or an apple and a granola bar. Or a yogurt and some raisins. But he eats every 3 hours. I’m serious I’ve watched him. He is amazing. Just saying
Anna,
