How To Make BLT Pasta Salad | Delish

Cook the pasta in a large pot according to package instructions. While the pasta water is heating up, make the sauce. Place the bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp, 8 minutes.

Transfer to a paper-towel lined plate, discard the drippings but leave browned bits in the pan. BLT Pasta Salad is a creamy pasta salad full of crispy bacon pieces, tomatoes, and chopped Romaine lettuce. It’s one of my favorite summer pasta salads.

Goes great with burgers, hot dogs, or grilled chicken. If you love a summertime BLT sandwich, you can’t go wrong with this creamy pasta salad. BLT Pasta Salad is a delicious take on your favorite BLT Sandwich. It is a cold dish that has all your favorite flavors of the sandwich in salad form.

It is crunchy and creamy because of the crisp tomatoes and romaine, crunchy bacon bits and the delicious ranch dressing. This BLT Bowtie Pasta Salad is peeeerfect for bringing to a summer potluck, serving alongside hamburgers, or as a meal all by itself! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the flavors of BLT this time of year. Well, any time of the year, to. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.

Add the pasta, and cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain, and rinse under cold water to cool. This BLT Pasta Salad is such a fun twist on the traditional pasta salad. It’s loaded with bacon, tomatoes, and green onions for a flavor everyone loves!

This BLT Pasta Salad takes one of our favorite summer time sandwiches, the BLT, and puts all the flavors into a salad. Who can pass up a BLT sandwich with a fresh from the garden, still warm from the sun, tomato on it? I think this pasta dish is a fun way to enjoy those traditional flavors and feed a crowd at the same time.

DIRECTIONS Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar and bouillon for the dressing. Combine rotini, bacon, tomato, and green onion. I recommend.

  • about boiling water… most Europeans I know (me included) actually own an electric kettle for boiling water. not only is it useful for tea and coffee, but also for cooking pasta! warming up a liter or more of cold water on the stove alone uses up A LOT of energy.

  • When I ran a food truck, we did a lot of catering, as two of my partners were formally trained and experienced chefs in NYC. And one little hors d’oeuvre we came up were BLT bites. we’d hollow out a cherry tomato and give it a bottom to sit on, then stuffed it with shredded romaine and crispy bacon bits, topped with sriracha mayo. They were so good and tasted so much like a BLT that I can imagine this does the same. Good stuff Bud!

  • You might want to try blanching the broccoli before adding to the pasta. This will make it more tender and help it absorb the flavor of the dressing.

My little brother is very picky with food and usually doesn’t finish what I make him, but when I sent him this he finished the whole thing!! All I added were some bell peppers, a pinch of salt, and some red pepper flakes (I like my food spicy) it was amazing!! Totally will make again.
