Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). In a bowl, stir together the maple syrup, spices, vanilla and mesquite. Add the walnuts and toss to coat. Spread the nuts on a parchment-lined baking sheet and toast until the maple caramelizes and the nuts are golden, roughly 7 minutes. Nuts are naturally gluten-free making them a soft snacking choice.

Do you think roasted nuts contain oil or preservative? Are roasted nuts better for you? We can’t deny one of our favorite snacks is the nut and that’s why we carry the widest selection of roasted, raw, sweet, and savory nuts. Rancid oils are pro-inflammatory.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Heat 1 tablespoon butter and the appropriate spices in a small saucepan. Stir in the nuts, then spread them on a baking sheet. Roast for 10 to 12 minutes, until very fragrant and warm, but not overly toasted.

This savory mix of nuts and seeds is crunchy perfection. 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice (a mix of cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg) ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper ¼ cup coconut palm sugar 3 cups unsalted nuts (pecans, cashews, walnuts and almonds). For pumpkin spice or cinnamon mixed nuts, add between 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice blend or cinnamon, to taste. For bourbon-spiked mixed. Choose any combination of spices you or your guests like.

Chili or curry powder, garlic, cinnamon, cumin, salt, pepper, brown sugar, ground mustard or orange peel are just a few ideas for a. You can also roast your nuts plain and then after roasting add seasonings like fresh herbs, salt, and brown sugar (so this isn’t your last opportunity to add flavor). For plain nuts, bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring at least once, until the nuts are toasted. In a large bowl, whisk egg white; add nuts and cranberries.

Sprinkle with sugar mixture and toss to coat. Spread in a single layer on a greased baking sheet. Recipes and Cooking Spiced Nuts Spiced Nuts.

  • Ingredients:
Red Wine, Cardamom pods, pinch of cloves, star anise, a cinnamon stick, lemongrass, add orange zest then add orange wedges, 1 tbs Demerara sugar, stem ginger then a couple of tbs of the stem ginger syrup.

  • That’s it. This is the last YouTube video of yours that I waste my time watching. WHY do you think people look at recipes. Are we supposed to GUESS measurements!!??! Ridiculous

  • Sweet and spicy combine sounds yummy:-) wow you make such a yummy recipe. nuts looks yummy. thanks for sharing. Happy Monday:-)

  • Is the egg white mixture then whipped or mixed some? I see similar recipes whip the egg whites a bit to lighten them up some. Not to the merengue point tho.

  • Heyyyy Laura: Girlie, you are definitely helping me with my hosting of my family for Christmas gathering. LOL. I will probably want them to call ME Laura V.. LOL. Thanks for recipes.

  • lol you guys are giving laura a bad time, all she wanted to do was show you a video on how to toast nuts and make them delicious and you just comment ridiclous comments to ruin her video. how do you think she would feel like looking at these comments and seeing uneccesary words? pretty direspectful huh? ;/

  • Gordon Ramsay I am a newbie to drinking wine I have watched some of your cooking videos in doubt you are a top-notch chef omastar of the art. The recipe in this made my mouth water the nuts and the way you made the wine is perfect what a combination thank you for your videos and your inspiration to Millions around the world.

  • Most of the comment makers are so US centered they don´t even stop to think these videos are seen by people who love cookuing from all around the world and that “joke” doesn´t makes any sense outside of US. Even in other english speaking countries. It makes you look as if you’re still in kindergarten.

  • JUST HAD TO WATCH AGAIN, I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN, I THINK BRUNO’S FACIAL EXPRESSIONS ARE PRICELESS, I LOVE IT WHEN HE DOES THAT SMILE STARE THEN TURNS IT OFF IN AN INSTANT…
MANY MOVIE STARS HAD A TRADEMARK OF DOING ONE CERTAIN THINK IN THEIR MOVIES. LIKE NATLIE WOOD, USE TO JERK HER HEAD AND SORT OF ROLL HER EYES, AND READ MANY TIMES THIS WAS HER TRADEMARK MOVE. BRUNO, HAS HIS OWN MOVE, NOT LIKE ANYONE ELSE DOES.. WHICH I THINK IS THE CUTEST THING..LOVE THIS CHEF, KEEP ON KEEPING ON BABY BOY AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

  • Why’s all these Gordon Ramsay recipes gotta be so damn complicated? I’m here tryna learn how to roast some nuts and he adds like a billion things in them.

  • Laura, you crack me up! When your hands slapped the counter….you had me laughing! You are awesome! I’d love to meet you. We would get along so well. 2 foodies in the same room….watch out!

  • Let’s say I run restaurant and I want to offer vegan spicy nuts no encourage everybody to drink water. What can I use instead of egg white? I think olive oil doesn’t have this nice viscosity and stickiness.

  • I had just made a sweat coating for unflavored peanuts when this video was uploaded. The worst (or best) part of it, is that i wanted something savory that i could have made with you recipe.

  • Amazing as always. Not sure why it took me so long to find your cooking channel. Have you thought about releasing a cookbook? It would make a great release for when you obtain 500k followers. I know I would buy a few copies. One for myself and some for family and friends.

  • I absolutely love your videos! I love how simple you make things. And you’re just so cute:3 thank you for putting in the time to show us all theses recipes.x

  • the nuts were black on the bottom they were no good the video showed and said turn the pan halfway through. my wife said I should have flipped the nuts over not just turn the tray like the video showed. this is not a good video at all for people trying this recipe the first time its my first thumbs down ever it just made me mad

  • Your accent is so amazing. Also, great keto nuts recipe. You found a way to make the seasoning stick to the nuts without any sweet products. Thanks

  • Yummy! I’m always looking for party/finger foods during the holidays. Not necessarily for parties but more for little treats my family can enjoy during the holidays and especially Christmas break!!

  • Id like to see much more of your childhood recipes. It might look good, but if the recipe isnt there, then the looks wont matter!! Bruno much more of the details behind the preperation. much appiciated TYVM

  • I’m surprised that a chef of his caliber, let’s wine pop… As part of my wine training, I was trained never to do that. Not going to go into the details etc, but I know the pop is a no no

  • this is similar to my recipe. I whip the egg white first so it’s fluffy and more volume. I also add some cooking oil so the nuts have a bigger roasted flavor. Then I drizzle some honey before mixing.

  • why is she saying stuff about her? people can be so stupid and jealous. WHO EVEER MESSIEREVOLUTIONRFOREVA LEAVE HER ALONE!!!!!!!!!!

  • I made this the other day and although I went crazy over the spice and sugar mixture, I just could not get it to stick to the nuts! All the spices and the sugar were left at the bottom of the bowl. Where did I go wrong?:/

  • @TheRealQuerida i’m not sure where you live but this is the case for most (mature?) parties. and that is because we believe and trust our guests to be as hygienic as possible. also, the usage of hand is much more convenient. this is especially so when the nuts are just snacks.

but of course, your idea of serving nuts ensures tip top sanitary condition!

  • I tried this recipe and don’t recommend it. It taste no different that store bought spiced nuts. I like a lot of Laura recipes but this one is not a keeper.Sorry

  • Looked at the comments. Well, I need to start from the first page since the comment page is going bonkers. End up, I didn’t watch the video, and I need to look at it again. BTW, I’m hungry!!

  • If you haven’t watch this the video, don’t do what I did which was read the comments first. LOL! I can’t watch the video with a straight face.

  • i think i’ll save on cleanup and pour the dry mix into the wet bowl. easy recipe. i love making sweet pecans for salads. game changer!

  • Elle, very nice, the one thing i would do is if it is for a party/gathering, is leave out any kind of peanuts because someone may be allergic, as far as i know, all others would be a go.

  • i wanted to see if i could roast chickpeas this way instead of nuts because they’re so much less expensive. it worked out really well! the only difference was the cook time. they took almost two hours since they’re more moist but i ended up with lovely, crunchy, delicious spiced chickpeas. love this method, will make it again in an even larger quantity!

  • i love nuts and my most favorite is pistachios and peanuts! new sub here. I hope you could find time to swing by my channel and eventually sub back

  • Cooking is a lot of little things done well. Not drowning every recipe with star anise. This is why Marco Pierre White will always be the greater gastronomist than Gordon.

  • quick question Laura can you make like your husband show his face in the camera please ive seen picture but not live thank thumbs up so she can see

  • This has to be the worst spiced nut recipe…the cumin is so powerful and does not in anyway complement the fresh rosemary…..I had to dump them in a towel and get as much of the coating off them. I did rescue them by adding some honey and roast them again….:/

  • it looks fancy as shit, but doesn’t look very appetizing or comforting, kinda just looks like I’m gonna be drinking/snacking on festive hotel decorations

  • Spritz those nuts with jalapeno, Ghost, Carolina Reaper, or Scorpion pepper oil and you will truly have some snacking nuts with your favorite brew.

  • yumm.. I got some unsalted, boring peanuts for protein intake in case markets would shut during crisis.. happy that I have very similar ingredients to make this recipe:9

  • You state that you put curry powder in your recipe. Is that correct, or did you mean cayenne powder? What l saw did not look like curry powder, unless the is such a thing as red curry powder. If so where do you get it and what brand are you using?

  • Thanks for watching, I hope you have enjoyed and benefited from the video.
