Ingredients 1slicewhole grain bread, toasted (1.5 oz) 1ozmashed, 1/4 small haas avocado cooking spray 1large egg kosher salt and black pepper to taste. Avocado toast takes a step up with sourdough toast, fresh avocado, seasoning, and a just-a-little-bit-runny egg for a hearty yet healthy breakfast sandwich. Breakfast is a big deal around my house.

Depending on everyone’s schedules, it’s the one meal we’re guaranteed to be able to eat together. Instructions Toast the slices of bread on a skillet or a toaster. Spread with cream cheese on one side. Cut the avocado in two halves, remove the seed, and slice starting from the ends.

Mαsh the αvocαdo in α smαll bowl αnd seαson with sαlt αnd pepper. Heαt α smαll nonstick skillet over low heαt, sprαy with oil αnd gently crαck the egg into the skillet. Cover αnd cook to your liking. Plαce mαshed αvocαdo over toαst, top with egg, sαlt αnd pepper αnd hot sαuce if desired!Place a hash brown “toast” on your plate, top with about 1/4 cup of avocado mash, and one sunny side up egg.

Ingredients 2 slices of bread 1 large avocado ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 2 large eggs 2 slices of ham, or more Salt and pepper, to. In a toaster oven or toaster toast the bread. Preheat a skillet with some olive oil on medium-high heat. Gently crack the egg into the pan.

Reduce the heat and top with Parmesan and cover with a lid. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat. Crack eggs into the skillet side by side and cook until eggs are white on the bottom layer and firm enough to fli. A sunny side up egg with toast is a delightful thing that should never be underestimated. The way that the crisp bread sops up the runny yolk is wonderful.

My standard Saturday breakfast is an egg on top of avocado toast. Sunny Side Up Eggs on Chilaquiles. For a bigger brunch, serve the eggs alongside banana pancakes, gluten-free pancakes, or French toast with mimosas, orange juice, or a smoothie to drink.

But sunny-side up eggs aren’t just breakfast food. Top one onto avocado toast for lunch, or add one to a bowl of.

  • What a fun young man to watch in the kitchen. Good commentary and tips, and I so want to try this colorful meal! First step, buy some avocado (will be the first time I’ve ever bought an avocado) and lemon!

  • With those types of bread, the easiest way to cut them without making it squished etc is actually turn it upside down and start cutting from the crust. This way the hardness will make it easier to cut producing equal and precise bread slices

  • I keep Ezekiel bread on hand regularly, as well as eggs.  I made this recipe this morning.  I have only tasted avocado twice before today.  In years past I talked myself into thinking I didn’t like it (looked funny to me).  But since I’ve been trying to eat clean for the past couple of months, I decided to make myself like it last week.  It turned out really well, and I will do it again often. It tasted like the egg yolk, which is a good thing.

  • This looks really good! I love eggs and I love avocado. I’m adding avocado to my grocery list so the next time I get a chance I will make this recipe. I also learned one thing about avocados. If you don’t want them to Brown as fast cut them with a plastic knife and smash them with a plastic fork. The metal reacts with the avocado turning it brown faster apparently. I love crispy edges too!
