Avocado Cinnamon Rice Milk Ice Cream. 2 corn tortillas (95g), cut into thin strips. 1 tablespoon safflower oil. 2 teaspoons sugar. 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon, divided.

1 3/4 cups (414ml) vanilla rice milk. 1 large (283g) ripe avocado, pit and skin discarded. 1/4 cup (59ml) maple syrup. Juice and zest.

  • The use of avocado for desert fascinates me because it is healthy. I made avocado dark chocolate mousse with monk fruit sweetener and stevia, about 50/50, with 100% melted dark chocolate or dark cocoa, so no sugar. It tastes great. I topped it with homemade whipped cream, but I’m planning on eventually eliminating that with a substitute, making it more vegan, so more healthy.

  • Guys, I need help!
    I followed the recipe with organic coconut milk without any additives, and it just doesn’t get creamy. Instead, after combining the condensed milk (which worked fine) and the cream (did not get as creamy as the video indicates), I am now sitting here with a jar full of buttery coconut clumps surrounded by sweet coconut water. T.T
    It tastes nice, but I just want that creaminess overflow matcha ice cream so bad….ah. Any ideas on what I could change next time?

  • my twist on avocado ice cream had it last night super tasty 
    cut up banana and avocado’s 
    freeze them
    blend with blender or food processor with a little almond milk (stir it around a couple times while blending) super yummy

  • I am sure it’s yummy but you should know that coconut milk shouldn’t be heated as it loses all its nutrients if it’s heated. Just adding a fact����

  • Hi Gemma! I want to use condensed milk instead of making my own. I have a feeling I might mess it up:) If so, how much of real condensed milk should I add? We are not against using milk, just want to experiment if we can make ice cream at home:)

    here yoU gO:
    take a 1/2 tablespoon of sugar and put it in the mixer, add one avocado, a cup of milk/ice/cold water and a little bit of lemon juice(optional) and mix them for 3 minutes and 29 seconds
    don’t try being smart and freeze it to convince yourself it’s icecream bec it will just turn into ice
    that’s it

  • Just go and get a regular ice cream cone already. Portion sizes my friends. How in the hell have people in todays age forgotten how to eat. Get off the couch, train with some decent intensity, and watch your portion sizes. It’s not complicated. Humans are becoming embarrassing at very fast rates.

  • Hi Gemma I tried this recipe but my coconut milk did not turn frothy but seem to be oozing out coconut oil in just 1 min. I used hand mixer in medium low(3). What am I doing wrong. How do I fix it.

  • Hello, all! I accidentally used two cans of coconut cream in the recipe and didn’t remove what little water they had left in the cans. Do I have to cook the liquid out of the ice cream before freezing? I’m assuming I have to add more of the sweetened condensed coconut milk, too.

  • If you leave the condensed milk simmer for a little longer (or for about 25 minutes in just a bit more heat), it gets brown and thicker, and you get a brazilian sweet named quebra queixo (“jaw breaker”) which is also delicious (though you’d want to cut it in small pieces while still hot, cause it gets really hard to cut after cooling). If you want to, you can add some coconut flakes to it as well.

  • I would love to try this but girl, that brown rice syrup stuff u had, where the fuck do you think I’m gonna get that?? I don’t live in California, I live in Canada were not to big on vegan stuff like that, I’ve never seen a single vegan store or restaurant where I live at all! I am wondering if you know what would be the best Coconut milk to use?? There are many to choose from in my local health food store. I’m also very concerned about the brown rice syrup.   • What should be the temperature of my home freezer? My ice cream made with whole milk, half and half, sugar all boiled well and custard powder, became hard in the freezer. I did churn cold mix in cold food processor before putting in the freezer.

  • Whipped Cream recipe without heavy cream:
    Perfect for cakes and ice creams, made these ice creams with it as well

    Serving 1 cup

    1) 7/8 cup of 12% or 25% cream
    2) 1/8 cup melted butter
    3) Sugar to taste
    4) Lemon Juice few drops Maybe optional I don’t know

    1) In a saucepan take your cream and sugar and allow to simmer for 2-5 mins on low heat.

    2) Let cool down and chill in fridge for half an hour, also chill your whisk

    3) Hand whisk for 5 mins

    And that’s it

    Use this as your ice cream base or to decorate your cakes or use it in Gemma’s awesome recipes! Hope this helps and love you Gemma

  • How many hours I need to keep the banana in freezer. After blending the avacado, honey, banana. How many hour I need to put the blended paste in freezer…

  • Or you could do what my mom does if you want a little sweeter version. put the avocados in the food processor then put it into the container it should be 3/4 of the way full then fill the rest with condense milk. mix it and put it in the freezer. It’s alot easier and tastes better in my opinion.

  • Mine tasted like cold Banana-Avocado Paste.

    Easy fix by replacing a few minor ingredients.
    1) Substitute frozen Banana with whipped Heavy Whipping Cream
    2) Substitute Avocado with Sweetened Condensed Milk
    3) Add flavorings of your choosing
    4) freeze until firm ��

    You now have a better Avocado Ice Cream!

  • I hate avocado and banana together! I lived in Morocco for many years and they make fruit and milk with sugar drinks my favorite was avocado but they would put banana in. All of the cafes around my house ruined quickly that no banana goes into my avocado drink I hate to call it a drink because it’s very thick and very cold. One day I Cafe had no avocados and that was what I wanted most of all so my brother-in-law ran down to the market which was lining the streets right nearby and purchase a number of avocados and gave them to the cafe in a couple of minutes I had my drink. It’s a lovely drink if you’ve never had it it’s just avocado with sugar and some milk to send it down which I use plant milk now.

  • its really obvious that the butter that they put in the freezer isn’t the final ice cream. im so angry with that, i supposed that they have to show us the real recipe. its really obvious that the final texture has to be maked with an ice-cream maker. and i know this, not only cause its really obvious, i know because i know a lot of cooking, im a chef and i know the truth. thats really bad guys.
