  • I have a Benriner spiralizer that I use for carrots. It has a sharper blade and uses a small “spike” to hold the veggie in place so it can create strands of carrot.

  • I’m very disappointed in the documentation and will return it to Amazon if it can’t be cleared up.

    It says to use 1mm through 5mm blades depending on the size spiral you want but there are no markings on the blades to determine their size.

    The blade trays are marked, CW, AH, CF, FW, etc., with no explanation of what they stand for and no size in mm. The video link also says nothing about how to determine the size of the blades.

    And what is the blade taped to the machine for? No mention anywhere about what size it is or what it is for. This documentation is unacceptable unless I am doing something wrong.

  • It might be the brand of spiralizer or the brand of carrots, but my carrots are hard; they won’t stay on the food holder and won’t go through the machine well. Do you have any recommendations? Would pre-heating them make them too soft?

  • Lisa have you heard of einkorn flour? Jovial foods has a very low and weak gluten flour, Gods original design, never hybridized even once by men, that doesn’t bother people with gluten sensitivities, it’s nutrient dense and it’s absolutely delicious <3 so you don't have to go without:)

  • I really want to make zucchini noodles for pasta, but there’s much more here I can do. But I’m only one person except when I have guests. When I’m using this just for one, does it still make sense? Won’t I have too much food to store?

  • I luvvvvvv zoodles! But one thing I found that makes them more al dente is to sprinkle the raw noodles with kosher sea salt and let them drain in a colander for about 15 mins. Rice it off and cook as shown. There is more bite to them. Either way I love them.

  • You contradicted yourself because you said this was vegetarian and yet you put meatballs in there. I know can easily take the meatballs out, but you already did the damage

  • I have gotten hooked on homemade sauerkraut and pickled vegetables. Takes so long to slice them up and it is harvest already! My family grew up and now I always have too much to eat before they spoil. I also dry a lot, same thing, time consuming to slice and even thickness is best. Thank you for your video.

  • I’m confused about the cauliflower gnocchi. I saw FlavCity’s video when he was reviewing Trader Joe’s frozen foods (and I believe he follows a keto diet, he’s not vegan) and he said he wouldn’t consider that low carb because of the potato starch and a serving having 22 grams of starch. Is that a lot? I wouldn’t even know (or care) because I’m not low carb anyway.

  • Microwave for a minute or two to heat it up, it retains a bit of a crunch and doesn’t go soggy.  Also, when you cook it, it will expel moisture so you shouldn’t add water.  The key is to not over-cook them they only need to heated up.  Be careful when frying (only needs a couple minutes) and never boil them.  They taste better with sauce than pasta.  I find that even people who don’t like zucchini love them when served this way.  The Spiralizer was a great invention, I’m so glad I bought it.

  • another tip, this manual model is not very good for people who are not very fit, it’s absolutely not as easy as in the video, the machine keeps getting stuck, finally I moved to an electric spiralizer, that also was not completely effort free but better than the handheld (Lurch brand that s what I had)

  • Doesn’t the Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo sauce contain butter? I might be wrong on this, or maybe that was a recipe on the package. But you could use regular Red Hot with a nut based butter replacement and it should be just as good!
