  • It would be great if you make multiple videos with high protein healthy vegan meals for a whole day. I prefer recipes over vlogs. It’s very hard to plan high protein vegan meals for the whole day that will help with building muscle. I personally struggle with this a lot. So, I definitely appreciate it whenever I find videos that help me plan to get the protein and nutrition I need throughout the day in order to build muscle on a vegan diet.

  • I quit coffee and caffeine leading up to a major deadline at work (where success was uncertain). Doing the most overtime I’d done through the entire project (I worked 29 days out of the month) and the average work week was 60-70 hours. I was almost certain I wouldn’t be able to do it, but I pushed through because things started to change, and low and behold, my sleep improved, my energy levels improved, and my stress and anxiety left me entirely. Now I’ve almost been caffeine free for 3 weeks, and my energy levels are starting to come back above where they were even when I was drinking coffee. So maybe not what you wanted to hear (I also love coffee), but cut the coffee and I can guarantee you will feel better.

  • thats an overkill for someone with your size. 0.7-1g/lb body mass depending on body fat and training expierience is enough. the rest gets turned into glycogen. carbs are for winners.

  • Ummm, the whole “protein” thing is a myth created by the animal (farming industry). Proteins are broken down into amino acids, which happen to be found in almost all the foods you eat (especially not flesh). Body needs 20 amino acids, body produces only 11, so you need 9 from food sources. SMH. Sad that people still believe the whole “but protein” shit.

  • Here’s a little tip, don’t use Pam or nonstick cooking spray, it actually burns up whatever you sprayed with a lot easier. So you’re just fine using olive oil, butter, or whatever variations of these two. Hope this helps!

  • Well, there’s some misunderstanding on the point about soybeans..yes, soybeans do not raise your estrogen levels, true. HOWEVER, Soy is a phytoestrogen, or a plant based estrogen. It contains two isoflavones, genistein and daidzein, which act LIKE estrogen (the female sex hormone) within the body. Because estrogen plays a role in everything from breast cancer to sexual reproduction, this is where most of the soy controversy stems. The body cannot distinguish between what is estrogen and what is not. Does that not mean that too much soy product can be bad for you? I mean, look at parts of the world where soybean is a major food source…like in Asia. Do you think of those places as manly men? What do you think?

  • Looks delicious and all but I don’t think it’s very IBS friendly in general as honey and sweet potatoes are not low FODMAP, pumpkin depending on type is questionable at best and so are the portion amounts incl avocado.   • Awesome. It’s amazing how your carbs, protein and fat are so balanced. For me, I’m unable to eat 2000 calories as that’s way too much for me and I don’t get hungry a lot. So it’s hard for me to get even 80 grams of protein as a vegan. Just to reach that number, I end up eating 250g+ carbs.

  • Check your physiology, microbiology texts. The protein you dont use is converted to glucose, and is very taxing to your kidneys. I highly doubt that you need this quantity of protein, what research have you done to confirm these macros?
