  • Just made this using pressure cooker, worked perfect. How can this be so good omg! I love tomatoe soup but stopped buying it because its full of chemicals. 2 bucks and you get a giant bowl instead! I cant wait to do this again real soon and play with extra ingridients.

  • Hi Melissa! I’m a “high volume eater” too, and I really like the content you create. Even though YOU are the one that usually gives us inspiration and ideas for our meals, I would like you to try a cold soba noodle platter: it’s a dish where cold soba noodles are the put in the center, and all around that you can put things like blanched spinach, edamame, tofu, grated carrots, sliced cucumber, nori seaweed, avocado, purple cabbage, soybean sprouts, shiitake, sweet corn etc… everything should be prepared without salt, because at the moment of serving you are going to pour over everything a savoury sauce made with: vinegar, soy sauce or aminos, a liquid sweetener of your choice, sriracha or another hot sauce and some ginger and garlic powder. To be honest, sometimes I add a teaspoon of toasted sesame seeds or a few drops of sesame oil, because I really like the nutty taste and you really need a veeeery TINY amount to make everything nice and “sesame-y”

  • This is the best lifestyle/diet that I have ever done. I lost 45lbs eating a clean diet, but I was counting calories and I was always hungry. I am never hungry now that I’m eating like this and I don’t have to count or weigh anything

  • I am new subscriber to your channel and have been 95% vegetarian my entire life (not vegan as I still once in a while eat yogurt, goat/feta cheese, and ghee).

After watching a few of your videos, You have motivated me to give your way of eating a try. So thank you!

Said that, I was wondering if you have a video where you give a comprehensive grocery list for beginners. I would appreciate if you could point me to that as then I can just use that as a guide initially and get started. Thanks in advance!

  • Wow thanks Melissa
To the ones that complained about the blandishments meals in this video: SPICES ARE NO CALORIES SO ADD WHAT YOU NEED FOR “YOU” AGAIN FOR “YOU”. USE HER RECIPES AS INSPIRATION FOR YOUR PERSONAL MEALS…IM A SPICY RURAL COUNTRY CHIC FROM EAST TEXAS TRUST ME: your body is your temple take what’s needed and leave what is NOT..so, this isnt to BASH anyone but, exercise SELF common sense in your weight loss goals..research n put into practice your knowledge.
Again Melissa thank you so much I enjoy your videos contents and know YOU can’t please everyone n DO NOT Allow any negativity test in your beautiful ladybug SELF..love your look

  • I see many people keep on speaking about Fenoboci Diet Plan (do a google search). But Im not sure if it is good. Have you ever tried using this popular weight loss system?

  • Loved your video as always! Thanks for addressing the tahini issue again. I am being 100% compliant with starch solution maximum weight loss except for tahini, but I’m still getting results, so I’m gonna keep eating it bc it makes me so happy. I may have even faster results if I give it up, but I’d rather be happier. Ha ha

  • Wow, so simple yet so tasty… Thanks for this recipe it looks brilliant and I’m definitely going to give this a try! Thank you

  • How long does it take for your tastes to change? I am finding I don’t want to eat large portion of these types of foods because they don’t taste good to me.

  • The recipes look good! One thing that would be helpful to know how long this whole meal prep takes all together. Half a day, whole day? Could you kindly let us know? Thank you!

  • How do you deal with the exceptions that come from social engagements. How do you navigate things like family celebrations? Friends’ weddings etc.

  • I love your recipes and the idea of your method. You’re a real game changer for a lot of people outthere! ❤️

But I’ve got one question: if you eat in such large low calorie quantities on a daily basis, won’t this mess up your hunger cues? If you then incorporate small amounts of calorie dense foods at some point, you’re eating less again for the same calorie target. This means that your body won’t be satisfied because it is used to be eating till complete fullness.
Wouldn’t it be better to learn your body to adjust to small portion sizes for sustainable weight loss? Then you wouldn’t have to limit certain food groups as well…
I would really appreciate to see your point of view on this! ××

  • I went on a whole food plant based lifestyle almost a month ago, I’m feeling amazing and lost 8 pounds. But I will recommend to 100% meal prep or have everything pre cooked or sliced in your fridge otherwise you will have temptations and cheat and get discouraged

  • Thank you for yet another wonderful video! You are so inspiring ♥️ do you plan a capsule video in the future? I really enjoyed the one you made a while back. Stay healthy and happy

  • I like how you addressed the question about exceptions. Makes sense The no oil fries are genius. I had no idea you could do that without oil and they taste so good

  • that breakfast looked so lovely and healthy!:) anyway can you do how much do you spend for weekly/monthly groceries for all these good foods? hahaha it seems to be very expensive but i just want to know out of my curiosity:)

  • Melissa firstly your content is inspiring and informative. How do you meal prep? I have quite a busy day and I want to eat like this so that means I would have to prep it at the beginning of the week or even every 3 days. Thank you it would help me a lot.

  • I’m so at my whits end! I weigh the heaviest I’ve ever weighed! It’s been so difficult for me with having to feed a family who doesn’t always want to eat this way. I have a husband who will, but my kids want regular food. I can’t take my weight anymore, I feel terrible. I need prayer. I am starting a new day today and I’m going to try to stick with it!

  • Best video yet! Thank you for speaking about moderation, my biggest nemesis! Something else I would love for you to touch on… weekend binging. Where I live, we have so many insanely delicious vegan restaurants.. no matter how satisfied I am with this way of eating, I always crave to go out to eat on the weekend…I give in and it turns into that (huge) meal, plus (vegan) ice cream, peanut butter, chocolate, the list goes on and on… I undo all the good I did during the week. I keep losing and gaining the same 5 lbs and can’t seem to get out of the cycle. Would love to know if you’ve ever gone through that??

  • I’m definitely one of those people who can’t just eat one cookie. Thank you for talking about moderation. I love how easy you make this! Thanks you Melissa!

  • Jack’s mannerisms remind me exactly of my cat, also a black kitty! Although he has short fur and is totally black, he lifts his head up in bliss the same way when we pet him, meows the same way, and lays on things he’s not supposed to! If I have one thing laying on my entire bed, so instance, my phone, he’ll go and lay on it! Then I’ll be looking for it everywhere and when I finally realize that it’s under him, I have to risk my hand being attacked to get it out from under his belly! He’s even laid on textbooks I left on the bed. That just can’t be comfortable! Silly kitties!

  • I need to try some of these recipes!
I just started to document my weight loss here on youtube.
My latest video is a recipe I created. Which was very simple and yummy BUT I NEED TO GET ON YOUR LEVEL! <3

  • Guys I had green onions small sweet tomatoes that I needed to use up, tomato sauce butter so I’m using that it’s simmering I did add some Jalapeños… I let the spirit’s of the Abuelitas guide me

  • I’m going to use crushed canned tomatoes (bc that’s what I have), & then add some fresh whole tomatoes , (bc I have a lot of organic ones). I’m going to add some fresh garlic , too. So excited ! I love easy recipes! Who needs all that hoopla that’s in most recipes anyway?! I don’t hv all of that stuff, or the money to go get it all. This recipe is awesome! Thank you !

  • I just made my first pita pizza and it was pretty good! I made mine with spinach, onions and peppers and shredded chicken breast. BEWARE: You need to be light on the the amount of sauce or it gets soggy quick and maybe saute the veggiesit cooks fast so the onions n peppers don’t really cook well. But all in all very good and very filling. Def will do again. TY!

  • No need to cook tomatoes, because they are already cooked before they are canned. Just throw them in the blender with the other ingredients, and then heat.

  • This video is amazing I’m sick and I asked to make tomato soup and my mom said we don’t have the soup so I was like we will see and I went into the pantry and saw tomatoes sauce tomato paste and I had tomatoes so I went in my room looked up how to make it and your video was the key to my soup

    Garlic or Garlic salt
pepper, chili flakes, red chili powder
    cream, heavy whipping cream, milk
    red onion, red bell pepper
and thats all i can think of

  • I have to admit, as easy as this recipe is, it’s a winner. Got home from work last night and was going to make grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. I didn’t have the soup. So, I found this recipe and it was amazing. A can of diced tomatoes, half an onion, chicken broth and unsalted butter. Salt and pepper to taste and what a treat. I don’t think I’ll ever buy store bought soup again.

  • I prefer to read as opposed to post comments, but this is a great recipe…exactly my type of recipe…3 ingredients! I did end up adding some celery and Italian seasoning, then simmered for a while and took it to my vitamix and finally, added a little heavy cream, but didn’t really need to. I’ll never buy a can of tomato soup again!!! Thanks for this recipe!!

  • Best tomato soup I have ever had in my entire life and so affordable. Sorry Heinz (!) I will be making it myself from now on:) I added garlic and dried basil to mine and it tasted sublime.

  • Have you tried adding chopped walnuts and mushrooms to the chili? It gives it a more hearty texture, and the walnuts soften up when cooked so you don’t get big crunchy chunks in there!

  • Now that’s an easy recipe I can’t stand those recipes where they have 13 ingredients and you’re like who could afford to buy all those ingredients thank you I’m going to try this.

  • Great videos and content love the easy meal ideas..thanks! As a full fledged carnivore who has quite a bit of weight to lose, I started this way of eating (Starch Solution) about 6 weeks ago and not only do I feel so much better & have more energy, but my body is also letting go of the weight! • I know this is just look at a day, but it’s actually refreshing to see you not scarfing down pounds of vegetables. I think people often forget that most whole foods are pretty low in calorie density as it is. You compliment your food with some veggies here but you don’t eat lbs of it BEFORE starch and it comes off as you not approaching this with such a restrictive mindset. I get that that way works for people, but many young and healthy individuals don’t need to jump straight to veggie stuffing when they haven’t even tried just simply eating whole plant foods first.

  • I’m glad I saw this video. I wouldn’t have know what the download was for. I received your email and saved the updated copies. Thanks so much!

  • Does Custokebon Secrets really work? I see many people keep on speaking about Custokebon Secrets. But Im not sure if it’s good enough to lost a ton of weight.

  • Hello Melissa! Great video, thank you for all the good information! I just started eating this way for health reasons and weight loss, I’m 17. I have one question, is it a good option eating insted of oatmeal, some oatmeal pancakes? I usually just make them with oat flour, water and some cinamon, and then I cook them without any oil. And I have 2 or 3 pancakes with some fruit. I heard that oats are higher in calories…and maybe it’s not that good of a idea to eat pancakes because u have to use a little bit more oat flour? Anyways, thank you again for the videos and the work you put into them!

  • Yo yo… Nice film.

My close friend had been a fat. He reworked himself from 290 lbs of fat into 202lbs of total muscle mass. I found myself astonished. I just signed up personally as I’m seeking to get more impressive muscle mass. He used the Muscle Building Bible (Search on Google)…

  • Great idea! Just one thing.
