  • Shredded chicken is one of my favorite go to prep foods. I always love cooking chicken and shredding it and we can eat on it all week. This is especially helpful when my military husband is deployed and the kids and I are doing all the things alone and I just want to go out to eat. I always tell people about simple shredded chicken when they ask for recipes.

  • I’ve got to try that parmesan chicken! I was going to say I do that salsa chicken as well (also do it with beef and pork in the crockpot with salsa) and we use it for burrito bowls, nachos, and quesadillas as well! ❤️

  • In 2018. I started doing this workout. A lot of the other ones were way too intimidating. But you really helped me a lot. I used to have poor circulation in my legs from being at a desk job. And I watch your upper body workout now everyday. Cuz I’ve lost enough weight that I feel like I only do a minimal amount of cardio. You have literally helps moms out there Simone. Thank you.

  • This evenings dinner was your pasta and meatball dish. Loved it!!! Someone hid my mozzarella cheese in the fridge so I had to use a pizza blend cheese. I will be making this again next week. Thank you for sharing!!!

  • When you’re so damn tired from work and the kids that you just pour your glass of wine into dinner and hope it’ll have the same effect.

  • I love these ideas! Sweet potato is my potato of choice too:) Thank you so much, the meals look so delicious, I am debating which one to try first

  • New subscriber, going back and watching ALL the videos! ❤️❤️❤️ So glad I found you! I have four kiddos and you have such good content for larger families.

  • I wouldn’t suggest any parent consume fridge food for the rest of entire life because its not healty. I prefer fresh food unless if i were too busy in a week id do this

  • New MM fan! So enjoying your videos!!! Totally agree on the fire roasted tomatoes. They are my new favorite in my clean eating recipes. So much flavor.

Tip on the creamy salad dressing…add a water thin. It will cover more of the salad and is less fat/sugar

  • Dear Popsugar Fitness, thank you for this awesome workout but I wonder will you bring back 40-minute and 60-minute workouts? I miss full sessions without having to switch between videos to get enough sweat. Anyway, thank you for making me fit and toned even if I don’t have enough time to make it to the gym. Best wishes, your fully committed fitness addict:)

  • Thank you!! I’m going to be picking up a big package of chicken and trying these for next week. We’ve really got to quit eating out and with going to the gym now after work dinner is tough to cook.

  • Guys, maybe we all misinterpreted the title. Maybe they’re not dinner ideas for parents who are busy, but for parents who want to be busy. Kid needs homework help and you don’t know how to do it either? Sorry kiddo, Mommy can’t help, she’s busy cooking the dinner she started while you were at school. Kid wants you to put on the same movie for the umpteenth time? Daddy’s busy individually deep frying shrimp, you’ll have to go read a book or something.

  • Why would a busy parent put wine in dinner? And a kid not gonna eat that
I see why the name of the channel is twisted CAUSE YOUR TWISTED TO PUT WINE IN KIDS DINNER

  • THANK YOU for watching!!You can find all of the recipes here: https://www.ithinkwecouldbefriends.com/2019/03/15/6-quick-chicken-dinner-recipes/ and the video on meal planning here (if you haven’t caught it yet!:) https://youtu.be/31ZfV3IzqJs

  • Having cooked chicken on hand is a life-saver. I cook two whole chickens in the crock pot every two weeks. On high for four to five hours with some seasonings and a few cups of water. Debone all the chicken (package that up) and throw all the bones and skin back into the crock pot with onion, celery, carrots, and a couple bay leaves and cook on low for 24 hours for THE best chicken stock (bone broth) for future recipes. Thank you for all the wonderful recipes! Love your channel so much!

  • I worked out for a long time but didn’t get results because of a poor diet. I then found a website called *Next Level Diet*, finally I started seeing results

  • More of these videos please!! So over cooking the same meals over and over and so are my kids, lol. Going to try all these asap

  • Nice recipes but clickbait title. In my household we NEVER will have those insane amounts of pasta and cheese for dinner. And this is for busy people? Most of this take at least 30min to be prepared, if I’m busy I need something that won’t take me more thant 15min.

One of the ‘dislikes’ is mine

  • Love this video!!! Can’t wait to try this for my family! We eat out way too much and now I’m motivated to cook at home so much more! Sending good energy from California!

  • Thank you twisted That helped me a lot but i cooked them to myself i have many questions
    1.where is you place?
2.can you make MUG CAKES with many different ways and PLEASE make sugar-free
    LOVE YOU

  • i loved all these meals!! i really want to make the samon and crockpot dish! i could use more of these meal ideal videos anytime, i cook the same thing over and over again.

  • I have been doing something similar! But I put the chicken breast in the crocpot with a little bit of chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. I’ve used the shredded chicken to make overnight baked taquitos/flautas, used it as terriaki chicken with rice and stir fried veggies, used for bbq chicken salad, quesadillas. These are great ideas I’ll definitely be making the bbq chicken potatoes! Trying to make dinner faster, but it’s hard when my husband has to have a meat, veggie, and carb, for every dinner

  • Bwahahaha you named it easy dinner but I can’t even make any of those! They sure aren’t easy for me! why don’t I just hire you to cook for me!

  • I wish I had this much time I came searching for inspiration instead I just got hit with realisation that not matter how much I dress it up I don’t have an hour a day to prepare and cook food. I wanted something to feed the family and any friends quickly and with little prep. I agree with the cheese comments they are definitely not for those watching their figure although after trying all of these we could all be needing to do that soon

  • Who else is watchin this at 3am starving so you look up “food to make when hungry easy” than realize that you don’t know how to turn on the stove

  • how is any of that easy????!! I am a university student, and I need quick and easy things to eat other than Mac and cheese. GOD DAMN IT!!!

  • I’m a new subscriber. I love these ideas, and I love that you shop at Aldi! Finally, someone I can relate to! The recipes look delicious! I can’t wait to try them!

I also love those pictures behind you. Where did you get them? Cute little sous chef too.:)

  • You know what I like best about watching you, is that you are so kind, obviously not a bad bone in your body lol!
And you smile all the time when you are speaking. Maybe if I get rid of our stuff I’ll smile more as well. Keep the videos coming!

  • There was one place for like one second you little guy’s face was visible beside you, tucked under your arm. It made me smile. Little ones are SO MUCH WORK, but believe me are SO WORTH IT. Mine are all in their 20s now and while they are so enjoyable as adults, I do miss those little faces looking up at me.

  • Tasty:for busy parents

  • LOve seeing these recipes. Now to try them! You asked for favorite chicken recipes. My husband makes split pea and ham soup, every few weeks. Quick to make and delicious! We have had ground beef tacos, and those are quick. I would like to try these chicken tacos. I have made a chicken enchilada recipe, with a green enchilada sauce from Walmart. Most everyone who tries it has liked it.

  • Looking at my dad cook has taught me a lot about making good and balanced food quickly. The key, IMO, is to have food staples in the fridge and pantry: eggs, canned beans (or self-boiled and frozen) wholegrain bread, frozen vegetables for really busy days, fresh vegetables, cabbage (cut it up and throw it in raw or fried); stuff that is easy to handle and can be quickly served after a bried visit to the pan or kettle.

Another thing is preparing stuff beforehand or making a larger amount of, say, vegetable stew on a day off. It easily goes for two or three days and can be supplemented with other ingredients “on the go”. I work mostly from home at the moment, so I usually throw my ingredients into an ovenproof dish and let them stew.

  • I just had to tell someone, (you), that I cleaned out my Facebook today! From 362 friends to 152, in less than 15 minutes. I’ll cull a few more as soon as I can get away with it.

  • Hey Guys, I am cooking the crack chicken but my slow cooker in the uk has three settings, low, medium and high. haha I will take a guess. Thank you for the vids. You guys are the best!

  • Since you’re trying to cut back on bread I HIGHLY suggest sweet potato toast!!! Just slice a sweet potato up like a loaf of bread (I like using my mandolin for even slices), very lightly cover both sides with olive oil, and bake in the oven until it’s how you like it. Then throw some scrabbled eggs on top (Gordon Ramsey’s style scrabbled eggs are AMAZING on sweet potato toast!) and it’s super yummy! The extra slices store well in the fridge for another day.

  • I put my chicken breasts in a crockpot with a bit of water and seasonings (salt and pepper). When done I shred the chicken, cool, package and freeze.

  • Loved this. Please do more!!!
Just a little tip though don’t mention vomit in a cooking video. All I could think of was how you were cooking with a sick kid.

  • I am going to add the BBQ chicken to my list of meals, either in sandwiches or with baked potatoes. Yum!! And that sweet little boy looks exactly like his daddy..:)

  • Now that I’m alone I am trying to minimalize (new verb) my home so my kids won’t have such a big job whenever that time comes. Hopefully a long time from now but who knows.

  • I’d love to keep watching more food and recipe ideas! The premade sides and frozen additions help show you don’t need all fresh ingredients and show realistic food expectations:)

  • I know this sounds pitiful.. but when I watch your videos I want to cry. I literally tear up, because this is the lifestyle I’ve been searching for, but didn’t know it was possible. <3 <3 <3 We're currently doing things around the house one-step at a time, and our car is full of donation bags right now!!:)

  • I recently subscribed and have so appreciated it when you say “You use your own convictions when deciding…..” There are many things that the bible says are black/white issues/ non-negotiables. But some things in life just are not that way, so thanks for being a channel full of Grace.

  • It’s on the air to do these meal ideas and such! There’s a Instagram group of us homeschool moms and we’re always collabing together and I’m sure so many just love your videos like I do! I love your realness! That’s what draws me in!

Yes, I like everyone sharing ideas! I stopped wearing much makes up at al now considering we’re all stuck at home! Lol

  • I will NEVER boil a potato again to make mashed potatoes as long as Costco has those potatoes or Bob Evans makes them!!!! I’m an old lady who takes every short cut I can. Something I wish I learned a lot sooner.

  • Angela, I LOVE your channels. I always feel so uplifted whenever I watch. I love that you and CR are so real and relatable. I was wondering if your chicken chili could be made in the instant pot? I would love to try it. Keep posting and I’ll definitely keep watching. You’ve got a subscriber for as long as you make video, in me. Much love and God Bless you all

  • Thanks for the ideas!! I made the parmesan chicken tonight and it was awesome!! I left out the bread crumbs and added pesto so tender and tasty!!:)

  • Thanks for the ideas and recipes! I have been using Italian dressing mixed with minced garlic as seasoning for pretty much all my meats, and then throw them in the oven. Makes for easy easing and it’s very flavorful. I keep an eye on finding Italian dressing with the least amount of sodium. The kids love when I cut the chicken breast in like small cubes and cook it in the pan until it gets a little brown. It’s our version of “chicken teriyaki “.

  • Hi here from Hilary’s Old World Home channel. She described your “hamburger meatloaf” recipe, but can’t find it on your channel. Please help! Thanks!!

  • Dawn can you please share where you got those two adorable pictures you are standing in front of? I have admired them in other videos and I just love them. Blessings to you and your family!!

  • Husbands and kiddos are so high maintenance! So funny about slowly getting them used to veggies. I like just buying a rotisserie chicken and doing a ton of recipes with that. One chicken is good for about 3 meals just chicken served as is, tacos/chicken salad/etc, and the bones to make a soup. I actually have extra instant pot liners so on the weekend I put together meals and they just get popped in the pot the morning of, let it cook and then let it stay warm until dinner. Works great!

  • Thank you for this video! I have not seen one of yours yet that I did not love.  I have heard all this stuff about prepping and storing for the whole week but you just made it so easy.  I also have a 6 year old foster child who is so picky, he will not eat any thing that he sees a veggie in!

  • i like the other lady better in front nooffense shes a good egg too though..can you guys please load some low impact stuuf for us elders,,lol,,,not old but i want to move a bit more in the class, thanks.

  • I love this!! I love to put a pork tenderloin in the crock pot. When I pull it out it shreds itself. I am always looking for shredded meat recipes. I will use some of these recipes for sure!!

  • It would be so nice to have the new uploads appear in the Home tab instead of always having to go to the video tab. Anyway, great workout. Thank you Popsugar.

  • This is AWESOME! Saving this for future reference. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Love the simplicity and it looks so yummy! ❤️❤️❤️

  • this was hard (9 yrs into motherhood of 2 and lost any shape i was once in….trying to start all over), but doable & short enough to make fit into any schedule. thanks -please more!

  • Just sending a little thank you your way for this workout! I was prego when you published this, but kept it tuck away til after I was through postpartum. I’ve been doing it for about 2 months now, and I feel amazing! My hubby loves how toned I feel. I love that it only takes 20 min for a full workout! I have my three 3-and-under littles with (running around) me, and it’s doable enough to sneak into our already full morning routine. One thing I noted was that after beginning other workout programs, the top of my thighs are often brutally sore (can’t go down stairs), but this was the first time that the back of my thighs felt like they got a workout (hello, operation booty section). My thighs definitely need some attention there, so am happy with that.:-P And you said to let you know, so YES, I’d love even more workouts from you guys!

  • I love your video but so many processed sauces are bad for health…. Why not cook from fresh ingredients, esp since you are cooking only one dish per day…

  • The idea of chopping the veggies so small so that the family doesn’t see them as much is completely brilliant! What a great suggestion! Thank you!

  • Yay for the Crack Chicken I asked for it just the other day on This Gathered Nest, not knowing it was a Pinterest recipe! THANK YOU!! I hope whichever kiddo was sick is feeling better since you filmed this!

  • So much complaining in the comments. No one told y’all you HAVE to make any of these dishes or use every single ingredient. You can use chopped chicken breast instead of King Prawns. It’s not that serious for y’all to be so bothered. Smh

  • Crack chicken chili is my favorite!! I’ve already made it three times during quarantine lol. The one pot meatball looks phenomenal too, I’m trying that one this week for sure!

  • Great ideas! Now I’m craving wild rice soup.:) Have you ever tried “Change Your Life Chicken?” I love the Lazy Genius recipe for this!!!

  • Injured my rotary cuff after rotating my arms in the big circles that the group did at the beginning of this workout. Please think before you just do whatever is being done in a given workout… learned a lesson. I have two children, a three year old and a nine month old. I have been unable to work in the home and care for my children or myself without pain ranging from 1 to 6 in my shoulder, neck and upper arm. I know I need to baby it, and where the sling, I have done so two days unconsecutavcely but as moms, I’m sure you know that the sling has to come off every now and then. It has been three weeks, I heal a bit and then regress. It could take up to 8 weeks for an injury like this to heal and many people don’t heal and end up having surgery.

  • This was a while back, but I wanted to let you know I did it! My daughter is almost a year old, and she woke up from a nap when I did this. So I had added mental exercise with it. lol!! Thanks for the workout! #betterthanabagofpotatochips

  • Yes, would love to see a variety of full body mom workouts to keep it new always! This is great and easy to fit in the full time working mom’s schedule. Can do this anywhere I.e while my children are at their sports practices

  • I love your recipe ideas with shredded chicken! I often cook a lot of chicken in the Instant Pot to shred and freeze in 2 cup quantities. (chicken, chicken broth, onions and garlic. Manual pressure for 12-14 min. Shred and cool.)

  • The shortest workout always kick ya azz!!! LOL! I like this one but who else has their booty bands rolling on their fat thighs…lol?!

  • So many freezings for a long time. I guess child has to wait for months to get their breakfast. And a busy parent would not remember that they puted it in the freezer.

  • Great video. Thanks for sharing. The recipes I will definitely be trying. I love the idea of cooking the chicken and then grinding it up and the. Putting them in the freezer to be used later. This would certainly simplify my life

  • Meals for a busy parent (speaking from non-experience. I just babysit my siblings a lot and don’t really cook) would be a box of mac and cheese and baked bbq chicken maybe. Or some spaghetti or something. It doesn’t have to be fancy or a lot. Just my opinion, though. Y’all keep doing your thing

  • Hi, its 04/01/20 and I will be doing this workout for the next 30 days except for Sundays. Current weight 76kgs. Let’s join me and I will update you after 30 days.

  • Im gona have to incorporate this inti my workouts. Hey moms id appreciate some mommy friends too new channel and doing my best. Some support would be so appreciated. In the meantime im gjust gona bing watch all these videos cause this channel has become my favorite.

  • Thank you for the great tips. I never thought to shred the chicken in the stand mixer. And that soup looks delicious! I have been using your meal planning tips and grocery template for a couple of months now. What a timesaver. I like to cook, but meal planning is so overwhelming when the weeks and evenings are busy. You have made this so much simpler for me! I have given myself permission to take the easy way most nights and to only cook involved meals once a week. I thought my family would care that we repeat the same meals over and over, but they don’t at all. I should have known bc any time I have asked my husband what he wants on the menu for the week, he ALWAYS asks for Mexican food. The pressure I previously put on myself to do a lot of variety is off and everyone is happy.

  • I find this really helpful because I’m not a mom but I’m a gymnast and this helps me for days when I don’t have practice, I can still stay in shape.

  • this is something you might like..1 can rotelle drained..1 can black beans rinsed..1 tsp cumin..1 tsp salt or to taste..1 TBS olive oil..and just mix. my family loves this with tostada chips.. got this recipe from Natural grocers.

  • doesn’t work, tried some of these, awfull. Recipes don’t work like they pretend they do, f.e. egg doesn’t stick to flour on a bell pepper. Dont bother trying these.

  • What a great video! I found it all so helpful! Thank you for taking the time to put it all together!
Your little guy is so sweet ❤️

  • Would love if you shared what that beautiful song towards the end of the video is!!! I can’t find it by typing the lyrics I hear

  • Ok it says for beginners so do not judge. What is double cream? I see half and half and whipping cream, do I need to look harder or does it go by another name? Wilted spinach…..you cooked it, it was frozen and it thawed or is it old?

  • Ok all you busy parents, let’s fry some shrimp, chop some peppers, add some red wine and sautee, mince, stir and garnish w/ fresh parsley. Presto an easy weeknight dinner for all you busy moms.

  • The most useful video I’ve found on the meal prep for families. So excited for the one pan meatball noodle and cheese I’ve gotten everything for a good price and making it tomorrow night for my family.

  • I just love you. I think this kind of video is perfect. I have trouble trying to figure out what to cook for dinner. I just have my usuals. My husband and I like to try different things and I love these kind of videos. Btw my husband loves salmon. Thank you so much

  • Baked chicken is on my menu this week, so I’ll definitely be trying it with the Mayo/parm topping!

I feel like the rest of these my children wouldn’t like, but I’ll give them a try, maybe one new one every few weeks. And I will definitely be chopping veggies smaller to better hide them. Thanks for the cool mom tip I never thought of!

  • Wanted to start working my mom body but had zero motivation and didn’t know where to start. Came across this video and it made it so much easier and fun!❤ Will definetly add this to my daily routine

  • Used to be a dancer then I had got pregnant and had my baby and this was literally so much funnnnnn, made me miss my dance Adding it to my routine and I subbed xoxo

  • Me and my knowledge: sees 2 months sees 2 months “ ok…so you want the busy parents to starve or wait for their food for two months…the hel…heck.”

  • I tried the meatball dish tonight used a bit more contents than called for,oh my goodness it was so delicious!! Thank you for sharing!! God Bless and praying for your family to stay well!!

  • These all look amazing! I will say though….I was expecting you to be making twice as much food! We are a family of 9 ( 7 kids ages 13 on down to 10 months…baby doesn’t really eat much food yet) and I have to make twice that much for dinners!! Love all your videos! ❤️

  • We LOVE garlic!! keeps the bugs away!! haha but it also keeps the deer away, so we use light garlic during hunting season. Love these meals!! using this!! Thank you!

  • Ok you have saved my mom life lol! After watching your meal planning video n now this, I think I have hope for more organization n sanity. Lol Thank you so much!

  • Love these!! I dont know how you constantly come up with such unique and helpful content! Thank you! Try the light olive garden Italian dressing. It’s almost no sugar and so delicious! And I dont usually like Italian dressing.

  • Would you please do a video on how you introduce your little ones to food? I would love to see your process as baby Benji is only about 2 months older than my daughter Ellie-Rose!

  • This page is one of my favorite, it helped me get workout styles to assist my clients in Africa. Started my new channel in Africa with your impact.thanks
